Obey Me! Babes Working as a Courier Headcanons

This is 100% (sinful) self-indulgence since this is literally my occupation atm. For context, I am a courier at a cancer hospital and medical research facility (my employer is the hospital but there’s some crossover between facilities within the job). The campus for the hospital and research facilities takes up a lot of space. The courier team mostly delivers samples (of blood, urine, spit, bone marrow, etcetera) to and from labs, but also important papers or packages.

My walking headcanons were written largely because I was having a difficult time with the training for this job lmao (so much walking, I was not ready)

I ended up not putting Thirteen, Mephisto, and Raphael in this headcanon even though I intended to🥺

Lucifer💙

100% the courier manager lmao

I’m not the manager and I don’t speak to mine often so I’m unsure how it’s different from the courier lead (we have both at my workplace) because both are being backup for any of the courier routes, planning schedules, and communicating with superiors… but there’s probably something Lucifer is used to doing in canon like paperwork, so he gets that here too. Sorry Luci

Mammon💛

this boy gets the “intercampus” route, meaning he walks between all the different buildings lmao

In canon he’s the fastest boy, which is why he’s there honestly

Plus it seems like Mammon would not be able to sit still, he’d lose his goddamn mind if he was. Pray he doesn’t have a slow day

Though since he’s so fast he ends up with downtime anyways lol. poor Mammon

Probably has to triple check himself while doing chain of custody because his brain is all over the place and you can’t just put the wrong information down lol

Leviathan🧡

I honestly kinda don’t want to give Levi a route bc as the character I am the most like, I feel like he’d be miserable trying to interact with all the people

Most of the time everyone minds their business but my anxiety (and other mental issues) makes me forget how to speak sometimes so lol Levi won’t be thrown to the wolves, go watch Ruri-chan and draw commissions in your room Levi🧡

Satan💚

This boi is the courier lead

Does some of the same stuff as Lucifer, but also does more courier-ing of not samples, like work packages and company credit cards

He’s super charming and that’s a bit important here since the courier lead interacts with lots of people, I’d just be careful not to frustrate him too much rip

Asmodeus💘

I’d imagine he’d be doing the car route, which basically is driving between buildings that are further away

I put him here because it’s not going to make him all that sweaty— and while I’m sure he’d deal with that if he had to, he will definitely take any opportunity not to

Asmo would 100% stretch the dress code as much as he could out of spite. Gets cute sneakers and is always on the edge of getting in trouble for what he’s wearing

He gets the big boi van route

It’s mostly because there’s heavy stuff to transport between buildings and he’s the strongest as far as actual muscle and not magic in-game lol

there are samples but this route does paperwork and packages more than the others

Plus he could eat in the van -3-

Belphegor💜

I don’t think Belphie would be able to exert enough energy for this job. Not shaming Belphie here, I just think he wouldn’t have the willpower to do it or he wouldn’t in the first place

Diavolo❣️

Medical courier, delivers medicine (mainly chemo) to nurses

He’s friendly, so talking with patients (sometimes you have to in this route) would be a piece of cake for him.

I also kind of want to see him in scrubs, this is the only route that makes you wear them lmao

Barbatos🖤

He works the hospital route, meaning he never leaves the hospital building and brings samples to labs within the hospital

I put him here because these samples are almost always needed to be delivered quickly and Barbatos is very efficient

Simeon🤍

He gets my route mwahahahah which is… the night shift courier. Basically does the car route and the hospital route all shift

I put him here because he’s friendly and could probably deal with strangers/other departments that also work at night better than I do lmao

Also he’d get time to work on his manuscripts since night shift isn’t all that busy. Most labs are closed or not getting new samples until the next day

Solomon🤎

Our shady boy is in charge of the route that kinda just helps all the other routes.

He’s just kinda there to help out, usually stuck doing mundane duties for another department until someone needs his help
