Sooo about Vox and Alastor...
The Radio Demon controls radio waves. Guess what?
Over-the-air television: Television broadcasting through radio waves, from a transmitter (TV station) to a receiver (TV antennae)
Satellite television: A TV signal transmitted by radio waves from a satellite.
Cable television: Radio frequency signals transmitted via cables
Until the early 2000s, TV signals were entirely transmitted through analogue signals: for decades, the original television technology only worked thanks to RADIO technology.
Tumblr media
Those antennae on Vox's head? They're 'rabbit ears'!! Dipole receivers, meant to intercept radio waves broadcasted by TV stations, convert them to radio frequency electric currents, and send those to the TV via a radio currents transmission line, to be converted and processed to produce pictures and sounds.
Tumblr media
It makes perfect sense for Vox and Alastor to have been "pals". Alastor calls him an " old pal" mockingly, but there's no way Vox would have been able to implement any kind of TV technology in Hell without the help of radio technology - technology that Alastor had control over. For decades, TV was literally radio with pictures. Alastor used to tolerate him (despite Vox encroaching on his territory) at worst, but might have supported him at best!
In my opinion, the beef between them comes from Vox's transition from Analogue to Digital, aka the digital switchover.
When Vox asked Alastor to join his team, it's possible he suggested Alastor switches to digital radio broadcasting (better sound quality, less transmission power required, a compressed digitized signal that allows for more radio programs in the same radio spectrum...). Of course, Alastor didn't care for that.
Was Vox's transition (partly) motivated by a desire to be more independent from Alastor? In any case, he's certainly not that much more independent now: streaming television and the streaming platforms & other services available on digital TVs depend on internet connectivity. And Wi-Fi uses radio waves.
In other words: Alastor's radio waves still live in Vox's TV head rent free, in the most literal way possible :3

Hi, i'm a newish bl drama watcher from thailand that just started watching thai bls. i'm a bit ashamed to say that for a long time as a gay man living here i've been avoiding bl shows like the plague cuz of both the fandom reputation and of misconception from my yaoi era which i leave far behind. i'm just want to ask how did you got into watching thai bls and what were you preconception before you got into it.
Welcome to the Tumblr side of BL fandom. I'd actually like to also hear more of your experience with yaoi and BL as a gay person growing up in Thailand if you're willing to share.
For me, I'm a Black American from the Gulf Coast (the South). I grew up in a Catholic city and spent my entire adolescence in the closet. Despite having a sense of who I was as early as 8 years old, I kept most of that to myself. Because I didn't talk about it much with people, I found out most information about queer media and queerness from the internet.
Tumblr media
I entered BL via queer cinema. I think the first explicitly gay character that I remember from TV was Marco from Degrassi: The Next Generation. There were probably others, and definitely more subtle expressions, but when I think about the oldest gay character I remember and connect to, it's Marco. I don't like counting things like shipping Shawn and Corey on Boy Meets World or Tai and Matt on Digimon for oldest gay characters. Sailor Moon can't even count because we got a censored version of it in America.
Tumblr media
I got access to satellite television away from observing eyes around age 16 and started watching content on Logo back when they aired gay content regularly. I watched basically whatever I could late at night. It's how I saw movies like Get Real (1998), Beautiful Thing (1996), and Bent (1997). It's also how I saw Queer as Folk (2000-2005) Noah's Arc (2005-06).
Tumblr media
After hitting adulthood I mostly got lost in video games and standard American TV for a while, but I did basically show up to any Gay Event in TV. I appreciate that Stef and Lena from The Fosters (2013-2018) were some of the only TV lesbians to survive the horror of 2016.
Tumblr media
I watched a bunch of movies in this time, many of which appear on the Queer Cinema Syllabus I made for a hypothetical Westerner new to BL and queer cinema, which @wen-kexing-apologist has decided to try to complete.
Tumblr media
I got into Thai BL in 2018 accidentally. I started seeing gifsets of Kongpob telling Arthit he'll make him his wife passing around Tumblr and was basically like, "Right, what's all this then?"
Tumblr media
I had watched a few Thai gay films, mostly notably Love of Siam (2007), Bangkok Love Story (2007), How to Win at Checkers Every Time (2015), and The Blue Hour (2015), but this was the first time I was seeing a long series made available so easily from any Asian country.
Tumblr media
From there I got into Make It Right (2016-17) and Love Sick the series (2014). Once I realized that yaoi had moved beyond manga and a few anime adaptations, I went looking for a lot more. I basically haven't left since I started in about 2016 with SOTUS.
There's my basic entry into the genre. I don't think I was as worried about fandom and worries at the time because so much of being a fan of queer cinema was a mostly-private experience for me for so long. I didn't realize that BL fans active in the space would predominantly be women or queers figuring themselves out. It took a while to adjust to that, and also to adjust my expectations of the kinds of queer stories BL distributors were willing to fund.
Tumblr media
That being said, I tend to agree with @absolutebl that BL has a useful role in normalization for non-queer audiences who encounter it. I like cheering BL when it does things I think work really well, and also deriding it when I think it does things that are offensive to help nudge the genre and offer my perspective as a gay man.
Tumblr media
I like the place we're at right now where there's way too much to watch for any person with other hobbies and responsibilities because it means that people can pick and choose what's to their tastes.
Tumblr media
More often than not, I'm probably most-invested in something airing from Japan because of my melancholy nature, but there's so much variety these days that it's okay if you don't like everything. I certainly don't!
I'm glad you joined us on Tumblr and look forward to your thoughts!

How To Watch Professional Wrestling (2023)
Hello people of earth, Jupiter, and wrestling Tumblr! I’ve seen many posts here asking about where to watch professional wrestling. After a few weeks of research and speaking with my buddies who work for various television networks, and those who navigate the interwebs, I have compiled a list on where you can watch your favorite wrestlers without breaking the bank in this economy!
I’ll first talk about the legal ways.
WWE (for those in the states)
-For those in the states, to watch WWE live, you can get traditional cable, satellite or a streaming service with live tv that includes the USA network. (Fox is a free channel so every live tv service has Fox). I would suggest Youtube TV b/c you get a lot of bang for your buck, but it can be expensive if you do not watch a lot of channels. The other alternative is sling tv, which if I remember is much cheaper than YTTV (about $40).
-Regular Hulu offers Raw and Smackdown, but it’s available next day.
-The other place you can get your WWE content is Peacock, though the problem is there is no live content and the episodes are uploaded after a month. Peacock is only useful for PLEs and to watch the back catalog of WWE ($5.99/month).
-There is an option to livestream the USA Network on their app and website HOWEVER, you do need a TV provider to access so it defeats the purpose.
*What I will say is this option is useful for those who live in the West, have cable/streaming service and want to watch Raw live.
WWE (International)
-Most countries have the WWE Network but it is very similar to Peacock in that there is no live content
* This is b/c of broadcasting rights with other stations that stops WWE from putting Raw and Smackdown up straight away like the PPVs
-WWE also has deals with broadcasting channels around the world, but they more or less work similarly to Peacock.
SO, for the U.S folks, the best way to watch WWE legally and for cheap would be to purchase Sling TV and Peacock to get the full experience that will run you ~$45-55/month.
International folks would benefit from getting a VPN and doing the same (Sling + Peacock)
….
AEW (stateside)
-Again the best way to watch AEW is cable/live TV. The best options here would be Youtube TV and Sling.
-There is a TBS app, but like the USA Network app, you need a subscription to cable/live tv, and honestly the app lags and is very faulty. Would not recommend.
-For PPVs, you can purchase from traditional cable providers/satellite ($50/PPV)
-The other one is Bleacher Report (Ditto).
-You can also watch at certain Bar/Restaurants and Movie Theaters which could be a cheaper alternative to buying the PPV, though not every place in the U.S offers this, so make sure you check with your local Dave & Busters, Tom’s Watch Bar, and movie theaters.
(AEW International)
-Now we are in murky waters as AEW has given the rights to a few apps for different parts of the world (besides watching it by cable)
-Canada has TSN, Latin America is getting stuck with ViX, others have DAZN, and the rest are still on Fite TV.
-All these options have faults. TSN is expensive with cable and if you want to watch Collision you need the TSN app and that’s expensive as well.
-ViX, while the cheapest option of all mentioned, is a joke of an app. Those that have used it reported it’s difficult to find AEW on the app. You HAVE to watch it live as there is no VOD, no back catalog, and the commentary is only in Spanish. There is also no PiP, in fact they don’t even air the fight when they throw to commercial, it just goes to a “we’ll be right back screen”.
-DAZN is expensive, misses shows, starts late, and is buggy. It’s also inflated with commercials before, after and in the middle of the show and the video quality is garbage.
-For anyone with Fite, you get the live stream but you have to wait 30 days for the VOD. Though you do have access to the back catalog.
*This is due to AEW’s deals with the streaming platforms above.
-Fite UK really is the old faithful as you can pay for AEW+ to watch live, get  VOD next day, have access to the back catalog and no PiP.
-PPVs can be purchased and watched through traditional satellite/cable provider
-YouTube (Canada, Mexico, Germany, Italy, France, UK, South Korea)
-PPV.com (Canada, Australia, New Zealand, UK and Ireland)
-SKY Germany
-SKY Italia
-DAZN (UK, Ireland, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Netherlands, Mexico, Brazil, France, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Poland, Portugal, Thailand, Taiwan, Malaysia, Singapore, Bulgaria)
-You can also buy through Fite (pretty much anyone)
Ok, so now you have all this info but you still don’t know what’s best for you? I would say if you want to watch both WWE + AEW, go with the live TV option. If you just want AEW, get yourself a VPN and go with Fite UK. This applies to Americans and International folks!
For PPV, the best option is Fite as when you purchase it, you have it for life and can replay it as much as you want. You also have the luxury of being able to watch on 2 devices simultaneously, so if you can’t fork out the money for a PPV, perhaps buddy up with someone, pay half and watch together on separate devices.
-PPVs on UK fite are £13.99 each (about $16 American) and fite NZ are $20 American.
*If you cannot afford a VPN, the two free VPNs I recommend are Proton VPN and Urban VPN.
OK so now you have the legal ways of watching wrestling, but now you’re probably saying, “but Jei! This is great and all, but I don’t have money!”. Well my friend, this is where I give you a lifejacket and show you how to navigate the deep waters of the interwebs, and by the time you finish reading this, you will know how to be a damn great pirate!
-What you will DEFINITELY need is a good ad blocker
-International folks, use a VPN that can connect to a US server.
Websites that have live streams, back catalog, PPVs, and wrestling from many promotions:
- Wrestling Network
- Wrestling Live
- PWrestling
- Watch Wrestling
- All Wrestling
- Watch Wrestling 24
- Watch Wrestling Up
*a lot of these have pesky ads you have to deal with and sometimes streams break in between, but since it’s free… Well, beggars can’t be choosers. Some will ask you to sign up, they are not asking for money, but if you are not comfortable sharing info, choose another site.
-Also while searching some of these sites, I came across a list from a website called Techlazy, and a person named Nagama Ansari compiled a list with more sites and gives an overview on sites I mentioned and others. I’ll link it here.
Well folks, if you made it this far, congratulations on successfully being able to navigate legal and pirated waters. In all seriousness, if you made it this far, I want to thank you for finding this helpful. I recently came back into the wrestling fold and the people in this community have been nothing but positive and friendly both in person and in real life. The best way I can give back to all of you is by using my knowledge working in television and journalism as well as using my network to help make it easier for all of you to enjoy what we love without worrying about paying a fortune to watch what you want.
Also, I am one of thousands of people getting screwed over by television monopolies and streaming services, so this is my petty way to get back at them!

———————————
The hospital wing of the GDA was alight with chatter. You had gotten the news only a few minutes ago that Alana had awoken, and you spent no time racing to her hospital room. Holly of course was also there, beaming with joy as she peppered her girlfriend’s face with kisses. Alana had been out of commission for a week due to her injuries. It was a lot better than the alternative, death, if you hadn't intervened and taken some of the damage onto yourself. Your wounds had healed just fine, almost as soon as the next day, and you would’ve done it a million times over to help her.
“We’re so happy to have you back,” Holly said to Alana, absolutely delighted, “we’ve missed you.”
“I’m happy to be back.” Alana gave her a kiss on the nose and turned to you. “I’ve been dying to see everyone again, literally. What did I miss?”
“Not too much, don’t worry.” You assured her. “But I bet you must be starving. Want me to grab you both something?”
“That would be great!” Alana exclaimed, sitting straight up in her bed. “The cafeteria has some bunny chow that’s to die for. It’s something my mom used to make all the time, and it sounds delicious right now.”
“I’ll take the same, thank you.” Holly smiled at you.
“On it!” You stood and headed out, happy to be doing something to help. Winding down the halls, you eventually came upon the cafeteria, ordered, and sat to wait.
It had been a few days since your last conversation with Cecil. You’d seen each other every now and then and said hello, but that was it. Despite your emotions you forced yourself to be patient on the matter. It couldn’t be easy for him to make this decision, and rushing him wouldn’t help matters either. So, you waited, distracting yourself with Earth television and puzzles; that really seemed to be all the entertainment they had available here. With Alana now awake though, you didn’t feel half as lonely anymore. Training with your friends, The Guardians of the Globe, helped too.
“You know that isn’t free, right?” You almost leaped out of your skin as Cecil’s voice sounded next to you.
“Sheesh! Do you ever make a noise?” You chided him lightly, a slight laugh to your voice. “And, wait, what do you mean?”
Cecil nodded towards the cafeteria. “Did you think the food was free here? It’s been going on my tab.” He smirked at you, the amusement in his eyes betraying his jokingly annoyed tone.
“No way,” you gawked at him, feeling stupid, “I’m so sorry. I really didn’t think too much about it.”
Cecil shrugged, taking a seat next to you. “It’s fine. Not like we’re paying you at the moment anyway.” There was a brief lapse in silence as you two sat together. It had been a while since you’d spoken at length.
You glanced at him. “I’ve been thinking about something.” He glanced back at you, quirking his eyebrow in question. “When I first got here, you said you didn’t know much about my planet, yet you knew the flower my people give to the sick.”
Cecil looked down at his lap, chuckling to himself. “After you arrived we sent some satellites to uh, ‘freshen up our knowledge’ on your species.” He scratched his chin. “I was curious as to how you knew English, yet you’d never been in contact with Earth. Didn’t know a species could have a part of their brain for translation.”
Your eyes widened in surprise. “You learned all that from some satellites?”
“Science is amazing.” He snorted, looking back up at you. “But we learned the last bit from your brain scans. The satellites just picked up random strings of information. We always knew of your planet, just… never had a reason to interact until now.”
“I see.” You responded simply, impressed yet slightly disturbed. “You humans are thorough.”
“Just me.” He turned to look down the hallway that led to the hospital rooms. “I hear Alana’s awake, that’s good. The team’s not the same without her.” He turned back to you. “What do you think, by the way? About joining the Guardians. You’re keeping up well, and you definitely have the skills.”
Your cheeks burned at the sudden compliment. “Oh—uh, I like it.” Then you gave a slight tilt of your head, thinking harder. “But I don’t know. It’s terrifying to think about saving people. I’m happy to help, and I love the team but…” you trailed off, looking down.
“Hey, don’t worry about it, you still have time to make a decision. And I get it, believe me, it is a scary thing.” Cecil nudged your shoulder with his. “You’ll always have a home here, whatever you choose.”
“I can’t believe you’ve been so nice to me,” you blurted out. It had been on your mind since you arrived here, and while you didn’t mean to bring it up so abruptly, you couldn’t hold it in anymore. It puzzled you as to why this man- let alone this planet, would help you to this extent. To question it seemed to be looking a gift horse in the mouth, but the nagging in your brain burst through. “It scared me at first. I thought maybe it came with a price. It was hard for me to believe that people really- well, cared.”
“From what you’ve told me, I can understand why you’d think that. And I don’t want to lie to you, at first my intentions weren’t… something you might approve of.” Cecil leaned back in his chair. “Fix up an alien who might have useful abilities, and have them join the Guardians. Or just have you help on your own. I feel guilty about it now that I’ve gotten to know you, but my job, the world, came first. If I had an asset in my debt, it could mean saving lives.” He cast his eyes down guiltily, unable to look at you. “That’s why I didn’t want to get any closer to you, I felt horrible.”
You swallowed hard, anger flickering to life in your chest. His words were like a knife to the heart. “I was wrong about you.” You murmured in disbelief. “I’m so stupid.” Part of you knew it was ridiculous to have convinced yourself of anything else. Of course that was the goal. You were a stranger to this world, why else would they help you? This world had no obligation to you, and yet it hurt so bad when it was said aloud.
Cecil’s head snapped toward you, true panic etching his features. “I don’t— I don’t think that way anymore. I would never— I wouldn’t of forced you to-”
“How dare you!” You snarled, bolting up from your seat. Flashes of your past raced through your mind, an uncontrollable hurricane of hurt and trauma wiping away anything but fury. “I trusted you, and you wanted to use me?”
“No!” Cecil also stood, gently reaching his hand towards you. You shoved it away, tears starting to stream down your flushed face.
“You told me I’m not an object, you told me that!” Your voice was raising by the word, now a shout. An uncontrollable tremor shook through you. It felt awful to yell, and your mind was screaming for you to stop, but spite and a rising anxiety spurred you on.
“And I meant it, every word.” Cecil talked softly, but his voice trembled. “I wouldn’t dream of using any of that against you. That wasn't what I wanted to do, I swear. The more I learned about you, the more I couldn’t stop thinking about you. In-in a good way- ugh, this sounds terrible.” He rubbed his forehead, looking frustrated with himself. “If I’d known about your past from the start I wouldn’t have even thought that way. It was wrong, and I’m so sorry.” His distraught eyes searched yours. “I didn’t want to hurt you, I would never want to hurt you.”
Taking deep breaths, you tried to calm yourself. Your thoughts were still raging with painful memories, the hurt in your chest throbbing hotly, but you forced yourself to think straight. “You really mean that?”
“Of course.” He took a small step towards you. “Thinking about not having you in my life; it tore me up to no end. As hard as I’ve made it to believe, I just- I really like you.” He cringed to himself. “I’m horrible with words- I’m sorry, that sounded like a highschool confession. What I’m trying to say is: you make me feel normal, like a person with no responsibilities. When I’m with you it feels like—like all I have to do is just enjoy being alive.”
All you could do was stare in silence for a while. Conflicting feelings warred through you. This normally cold, steely man looked utterly heartbroken at the thought of hurting you. In the time you’d known Cecil, it wasn’t hard to figure out that the man had a guard. You had seen brief, genuine glimpses into him and relished every moment, but now was more than just a mere glimpse. His features were soft, his posture as harmless and open as he could manage. It was a first to see him this way, and it was because he was truly worried about you.
The previous years of being imprisoned were not easy to erase, to say the least. Your captor wouldn’t hit you per say, but directed his savagery to your brother. He knew you’d heal the poor young boy, so he maliciously manipulated you into transferring the wounds to yourself. It wasn’t something you wanted to talk about at length, at least not now. You’d told Cecil a little but the details seemed too hard to choke out. It seemed silly to think, as it was a horrendous thing for anyone to go through, but you didn’t know how much it had really, truly affected you until now. Sadness radiated through you; had you really become so broken? Had your captor stolen away your trust?
Cecil cast his gaze downward, breathing in deeply. “You have every right to hate me. I hate me too. It was out of line.” You stepped closer, hesitating for only a moment before slowly encircling your arms around him. His back stiffened at first, unsure of your touch, then he wrapped you up tightly. The anger in your body melted away.
“I believe you, and I forgive you.” You mumbled into his chest, relaxing against him. “I’m sorry. Just— so much of the pain in my past centers around being controlled and used. I’ve never come to terms with the trauma that was caused.”
“You have nothing to apologize for.” He rubbed your head tenderly. Suddenly his eyes flicked past you, and his expression shifted. Confused, you followed his gaze and found a gaggle of cafeteria workers gaping at the two of you. Suddenly sheepish, you broke away from Cecil and shuffled towards the counter, grabbing the food and thanking them before slipping into a secluded part of the far hallway, out of sight.
Cecil joined you a second later. “Don’t worry about them. I’ll have a word.” He motioned for you to start walking, to which he joined next to you. “I’m sorry I haven’t been around much. I’ll make some time for us to talk properly, without anyone staring at us.”
“You’re busy, I understand.” You looked to the side, feeling a bit awkward. “I’m-I’m sorry for yelling, really. I should’ve handled that better.”
“You had an appropriate reaction to someone telling you ‘I was going to indebt you to me secretly’, I think.” Cecil responded, to which you have an uncomfortable chuckle. There was a silence for a moment before he continued. “I will do things to protect this planet that you might not like. I need you to know that. If we want to continue our relationship that’s… something that will need to be addressed.”
“We’ll talk about it.” You responded. “There are things I need you to know as well. And, um, do you offer therapy here, by chance?”
“Of course.” Cecil shoved his hands in his pockets. “If that’s something you’d like to start, we can make that happen. And don’t worry, our psychiatric medicine is some of the best, and trained to deal with more unnatural situations. They provide services to heros, after all.”
“Thank you.” You gave him a smile. “I think it would be great to get some of this off my chest. And learn how to handle it better.”
“I’ve had to do some in my time here, for sure.” Cecil gave you a sidelong glance. “It’s nothing to be ashamed about. I’m proud of you for taking that step. It’s a hard one.”
“Thank you, Cecil.” You both had come to Alana’s room.
Stopping outside the door, Cecil turned to you. “Here.” He placed a square device on the tray of food in your hands. “This is a phone, it’ll allow us to get in contact easier. It’s not the fanciest thing but it’ll do the trick.” He nodded towards the room containing Holly and Alana. “They can teach you to use it, it’s not too hard. I’ll be in touch, rookie.”
In a blazing flash of light Cecil vanished through his teleporter. At first it had startled you, but you’d gotten used to the bright assault to your eyes. You opened the door in front of you and stepped into the room, the smiling faces of Alana and Holly greeting you. “Hey!” You blurted out. “I’m going to therapy!”

Author’s Note:
Hello everyone! I wanted to clarify that the reader of this story has a lot of emotional and mental stuff to heal, so the reader often thinks in a self depreciative way. Everyone deserves to love themselves and I do not want anyone to think that you deserve less or are “broken” because you are traumatized. I have PTSD myself, and I hope I wrote it in a way that can explain that it’s not always easy to think highly of yourself or express your emotions when you’ve been traumatized. I am indeed having the reader go into therapy to learn how to heal from these past traumas. Therapy is great and I really suggest everyone go into therapy, even if you’re not mentally ill. It’s a benefit to everyone!
Disclaimer:
I try to be as accurate as possible to the source material for this fan fiction, but at times I’ll get it wrong. The timelines for the Guardians of the Globe as well as Cecil are not as accurate as they should be but for the sake of wanting to have all the characters in here I fudged it. Just know that I understand not everything is accurate but let’s just try to have a good time regardless!

Singing and dancing to save the universe
SPACE CHANNEL 5 , the second episode of the new sensory music beat genre game developed by SEGA and UGA, is now available on PS2 and DC during the Chinese New Year. In the game, the player plays a TV reporter, using her singing and dancing skills to stop aliens from invading the universe, and the enemy of this episode is a mysterious organization leading a group of small black machines "Dancing Troupe (Rhythm Rouges)".
REPORT 1 - The crisis reignites
One day, a cruise ship called Space Symphony was passing over Pluto when a giant black unidentified flying object suddenly approached the ship, and then a group of small robots appeared and walked inside the ship, emitting some strange lights that made the passengers dance. The television station "Channel 5", which received this event, immediately asked the reporter ULALA to go there to make a live report. ...... When it comes to the gameplay, it is basically the same as the previous episode. At the beginning of "Dance Battle", the opponent's Icon will be seen at the bottom left of the screen, then the player needs to write down the opponent's movements and rhythms, and then when the Icon changes, she needs to make the same movements and rhythms as the opponent, With the same action and festival, you will hear a special sound if you succeed, and of course you will hear the sound of "blowing soda" if you fail. Just repeat this action until everyone is rescued and you will pass the game.
The mysterious enemy "Dancing Troupe" has spotted the target...
Passengers enjoying space travel still know something is going to happen...
Make the same movements and rhythms as the other party
Those who are successfully rescued will join the ULALA train to help save the remaining passengers
The First characters
JAGUAR
The reporter of Space Pirate Broadcasting, who appeared in the previous work, but this time he was found in the opening, what is the relationship between him and ULALA?
FUSE
This spaceship floating in the air is actually a satellite broadcast by the TV station "Channel 5". There is a broadcaster visible at the bottom of the ship.
SHADOW & (RHYTHM) ROBOT
Captain SHADOW leads a group of robots that emit strange light from their eyes. They are part of the dance team. Their main task is to attack and capture humans everywhere. What is their purpose...
NOISE
He looks like a rookie from the outside, but he is actually the technical development director of "Channel 5". In the development of the new broadcaster, he is responsible for the technical support. Having a super low waist is his characteristic.
PURGE
The leader of the "Dancing Troupe (Rhythm Rouges)" who appeared at the beginning of the story. Why does he want to catch humans to dance? All this will be left to the player to solve in the game.
"PART 2" full of new elements
n the new episode, how can there be some new elements missing? In this episode, the input of length and strength will be added first, and the lyrics will be added below the dancing process. In addition, ULALA will play with the band during the dance, which greatly improves the atmosphere.
Press the button to play the guitar!
Added lyrics display when dancing, more like watching TV

Happy 78th Birthday Scottish actor Paul Young, born 3rd July 1944 in Edinburgh.
Paul started acting at an early age, playing the eponymous hero in the 50's classic Geordie. Young's big break was as one of the presenters of the early 1960s Scottish Television children's programme, Roundup. In this programme he famously interviewed The Beatles. Of his time there he said in an interview
“Well it was the kind of birthplace of my career, in a way. On a Tuesday I would come into the Theatre Royal to do this programme and it was always a thrill to go in, because you didn’t always know who was going to be on it. "Oh, it's Adam Faith, it's Cliff Richard, it's Johnny Mathis, it's Tom Jones. It's — who’s this? — The Beatles? All right, okay”. So it was like the birth, the birthplace, of my career, as a presenter, actor.”
He was also the first voice heard on pirate radio station Radio Scotland when the transmitter was turned on 31st December, 1965 at ten minutes to midnight as 1966 was about to begin, Paul presented the popular Ceilidh programme of traditional Scottish music on the station, which broadcast at various points off the Scottish coast up to August 1967.
Returning to acting later in the decade, Paul has gone on to appear in numerous plays, films and television dramas.
A keen angler, he has presented fishing programmes on Scottish television for many years. The first was Hooked on Scotland for the BBC. This was followed by Hooked on Scottish for ITV and more recently Hooked for the satellite and cable channel Discovery Home and Leisure. Fishing TV, a global video on demand fishing channel, has recently found and digitally remastered more than 120 classic Paul Young episodes and they are now available to view on the Fishing TV service.
Some of his other credits include The Tales of Para Handy, No Job for a Lady, The Crow Road, Rab C Nesbit Coronation Street and of course Taggart, in two different roles and of course the role most us know him from, Still Game.
In the hit Scottish sitcom Paul played Hugh "Shug" McLaughlin, initially appearing occasionally in the early series but by series 5 and 6 becoming a regular cast member. Nicknamed "shug the lug" on the account of Paul Young's trademark ears. He was a communications officer during World War II and is a self-proclaimed expert in radios and soundwaves who often relies on his big ears to hear through walls. Shug is generally the only pensioner that knows about gadgets and new technology in the group.
There was wider fame in 2018 for oor Paul, when Google wrongly said that 80s singer Paul Young was the man who appeared as the Craoglang bat-eared eavesdropper Shug. A twitter user first spotted the mix up and Still Game star and creator Greg Hemphill tater retweeted it adding “Wherever I lay my lugs.”
Now retired, Paul Young lives near Glasgow and enjoys fishing with his grandchildren.

It's A Revolution
Professional sports have long been available for free viewing, either on cable, satellite, or over-the-air. Of course, league blackout rules apply in certain places, and there are season pass options available for die hard fans. The gist of it is that watching the game, whatever it may be, has been of the people and for the people.
But that is slowly changing. In 2021, Amazon signed on for 11 seasons of Thursday Night Football, and has effectively added one more day of the week to fans’ football-watching activities. Well, as long as you have Amazon Prime, know a friend who does and doesn’t mind you crashing there, or can find it at a sports bar. Otherwise, you’re out of luck.
AppleTV+ has dibs on Major League Soccer, which proved to be a huge win for Apple last year when Messi started playing for Miami. It’s an upgrade to the standard AppleTV+ subscription, but some games are shared across the AppleTV+ platform for the basic subscribers.
And now we come to the latest: Peacock, owned by NBCUniversal, carried this last Saturday’s playoff game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Miami Dolphins, and based on the data, it was the “most-streamed live event in US history.” Some 23 million viewers turned in, of which 16.3 million were logged in to Peacock. The remaining seven million were viewers in the KC and Miami markets, as well as subscribers to the NFL+ mobile app.
Tumblr media
But the superlatives don’t stop there. The game also practically choked the internet, accounting for 30% of all web bandwidth during the game. It was the “most internet usage ever in the US on a single date.” Take that, Netflix.
So what’s the problem, you ask? Well, there was a huge outpouring of negativity on social media, because some viewers felt like they were being extorted for $5.99 a month to sign up for Peacock (which, of course, they could cancel at any time). And some lawmakers are concerned as well, because…you know…that’s not how we have always done it.
We may see a court battle or two over this, but I suspect the ship is sailing, and we will now begin to see ever more professional sports on subscription streaming services. And with good reason, because pro sports is about the only reason people watch linear television these days. OK, maybe the evening news, but I have already digested all of the day’s news online long before the 10pm showing. When you consider that 93 out of the top 100 broadcast programs last year were NFL games, you see the magnitude of this.
Think about it. The only content with a shelf life of not more than a few hours is sports and the news. Who wants to watch yesterday’s football game, or last night’s newscast? I’ll wait. And we’ll all happily wait to watch everything else on our own schedule, whether by DVR or streaming on demand.
It’s just that, as we continue to cut the ties that bound us to all those legacy media outlets, the new model is all about streaming. While there is much consolidation going on—that’s a topic for a future blog—it also means there will be more resources among the surviving conglomerates to do what Peacock just did, and what Amazon has been doing. Exclusive rights cost big money, but with that many eyeballs, it is well worth the price. Advertisers love it, and so does any company with the rights.
For consumers, it signifies a continuation of the drift away from legacy outlets, and toward the streamers. I know. The prices and bundling options available these days are beginning to look a lot like that which we left behind with cable and satellite, but that’s how it goes. Orwell noted that tendency in Animal Farm. The Wheel of Retailing Theory says the same. A revolution eventually begins to look a lot like that which it sought to replace.
And if you want to watch pro sports in the future, I am betting heavily that you’ll have to join the revolution. Or find a friend who has. Just be sure to bring food and beverage.

Powerpuff Marathon, Summer Camp Island on CN Website/App
According to CN News/Schedules on Twitter, Cartoon Network has scheduled a Powerpuff Girls marathon on March 5th, from 12 PM to 4 PM. These are all episodes of the 1998 series. This is the first time they scheduled a marathon of the original on television since 2014. Here are the currently scheduled episodes:
12:00 PM - The Headsucker's Moxy
12:15 PM - Equal Fights
12:30 PM - Major Competition
12:45 PM - Sweet ‘n’ Sour
1:00 PM - The Boys are Back in Town
1:30 PM - Insect Inside
1:45 PM - Buttercrush
2:00 PM - The Powerpuff Girls Best Rainy Day Adventure Ever
2:15 PM - Just Desserts
2:30 PM - Telephonies
2:45 PM - Tough Love
3:00 PM - Monstra-City
3:15 PM - Shut the Pup Up
3:30 PM - Jewel of the Aisle
3:45 PM - Super Zeroes
It is easy to assume this marathon is to get everyone ready for PPG 202X, though it may still be early to expect anything more than a teaser, if anything at all. (Update 3/5: There are a few other Sunday marathons this month. This includes a Steven Universe marathon celebrating the Crystal Gems on 3/12, and a Chloe-focused marathon of We Bare Bears on 3/19. Still interesting that it’s the original Powerpuff Girls, though.)
In unrelated news, Cartoon Network has every episode of Season 1 of Summer Camp Island available on their website and CN app. Despite being one of the delisted HBO Max shows, Cartoon Network has said that they’re still planning on airing the never-released-on-HBO-Max Season 6 at some point. It is easy to assume it’ll be this summer, but there is no confirmation on that. They’re all unlocked, too, so one does not even need a cable or satellite subscription to enjoy them. Stay tuned.

Tip for friends who have limited budgets but want to watch TV: Contrary to popular belief, if you are on a limited budget and want to watch real television you do NOT need Cable, Satellite, or a subscription streaming service.  So long as you have the Internet you're good to go. Both www.Pluto.TV and www.Tubi.com are free AND legal!  (I prefer Tubi, personally.) So long as you have Internet, you can watch TV with them.   They have large collections of TV shows and movies available to stream.   And you can watch on any device that has an Internet connection.   Tubi's catalogue is kind of nostalgic.  It almost looks like a video store from the late 90s (Even though they have stuff from the 2000s and 2010s). They have Highlander: The Series, Unsolved Mysteries (80s and 90s version), and several very good movies. Remember when Hulu was new and actually free?  That's what Tubi pretty much is.  It's what Hulu used to be. www.youtube.com has a bunch of public domain movies, and MGM has placed a lot of its old shows available for free on Youtube like the original Addams Family.  Think of Tubi and Pluto TV as being like basic cable in the early 90s.  It might not be premium like Netflix, HBO Max, or Disney+ but it still has some good stuff you can watch.

Cable vs Satellite Services
Cable and satellite TV are different in more ways than just how they deliver television programming. Cable TV is less likely to be affected by the weather, but is typically more expensive than satellite TV service. Cable may be more suitable for renters and people who do not want to commit to a long-term contract. Satellite TV signal can be disrupted by bad weather, but is usually cheaper. The availability for cable and satellite TV services also varies; cable TV is only available in areas where providers offer service (which sometimes excludes rural areas or new communities in the suburbs), while satellite TV is available anywhere that a dish can be installed to face south. Astronomers create AI to better communicate their stellar research An international team of scientists, led by a researcher at The University of Manchester, have developed a novel AI (artificial intelligence) approach to distill technical astronomy terminology into simple understandable English in their recent publication. The new research is a result of the international RGZ EMU (Radio Galaxy Zoo EMU) collaboration and is transitioning radio astronomy language from specific terms, such as FRI (Fanaroff-Riley Type 1), to plain English terms such as "hourglass" or "traces host galaxy." The paper is published in the journal Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society. In astronomy, technical terminology is used to describe specific ideas in efficient ways that are easily understandable among professional astronomers. However, this same terminology can also become a barrier to including non-experts in the conversation. The RGZ EMU collaboration is building a project on the Zooniverse citizen science platform, which asks the public for help in describing and categorizing galaxies imaged through a radio telescope. Modern astronomy projects collect so much data that it is often impossible for scientists to look at it all by themselves, and a computer analysis can still miss interesting things easily spotted by the human eye. Micah Bowles, Lead author and RGZ EMU data scientist, said, "Using AI to make scientific language more accessible is helping us share science with everyone. With the plain English terms we derived, the public can engage with modern astronomy research like never before and experience all the amazing science being done around the world." Radio telescopes work in a very similar way to satellite dishes, but instead of picking up television signals they can be used to pick up the radio light generated by very energetic astrophysical objects—such as black holes in other galaxies. For many decades, these "radio galaxies" have been categorized into different types by astronomers to help them understand the origins and evolution of the universe. Recently, dramatic improvements to radio telescopes around the world have revealed more and more of these radio galaxies, not only making it impossible for professional astronomers to look at each one individually and categorize it, but also introducing new variations that aren't already captured by existing radio galaxy types. Instead of trying to invent more and more new technical terminology for different types of radio galaxy—and train people to recognize them—the RGZ EMU team saw a different path forward that would enable citizen scientists to participate more fully in their research project. The RGZ EMU team first asked experts to describe a selection of radio galaxies with their technical terms, and then asked non-experts to describe them in plain English. Using a first-of-its-kind AI-based approach they had developed, they then identified the plain English descriptions that carried the most scientific information. These descriptions("tags") can now be used by anyone to describe radio galaxies—in a way which is meaningful for any English speaker—without any specialist training at all. This work will not only be crucial for the RGZ EMU project, but with ever-increasing volumes of data across many areas of science, this new AI approach could find use in many more situations where simplified language can accelerate research, collaboration and communication. Led from Manchester, this research was conducted by researchers from the UK, China, Germany, the U.S., the Netherlands, Australia, Mexico, and Pakistan. The data, code and results are all available online.
