Nobody for President was a satirical campaign that emerged during the 1976 United States Presidential election season. The purpose of the campaign was to highlight voter apathy, and to encourage people to register to vote, even if they didn’t necessarily support either major party candidate. It is believed that Wavy Gravy, a peace activist best known as the emcee of Woodstock and as the Grateful Dead’s resident “clown”, initially nominated Nobody for President at a Youth International Party (Yippie) rally which occurred outside of the 1976 Republican National Convention in Kansas City. The Nobody for President movement offered suggestions to counter voter apathy, including providing a None of the Above option on ballots, declaring Election Day a national holiday, and tying election participation to jury duty.

Biden’s Cabinet Warns That Him Losing Election Would Mean End of ‘Snow Cone Tuesdays’ in White House

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Calling for people to help them out during this stress inducing time, today President Biden’s cabinet warned the American people that if Biden lost the election, they would no longer be able to participate in “Snow Cone Tuesdays”, a weekly event that Biden set up where all White House staff get free snow cones.

“While we wholeheartedly understand people’s grievances with Biden’s administration, we’re asking the American people to at least feel somewhat sympathetic for us.” Biden’s Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre told reporters. “If Biden loses this election, that would mean the White House would have to put an end to snow cone tuesdays, and that would obviously be a very hard change to get used to. So we’re asking the American people to keep that in mind when they head to the ballots this November.”

Biden would also later release a statement on the whole situation, stating that if he lost the election, he would lose access to some of the best hairs that he’s ever laid his nose on.

One thing that I didn’t appreciate about “Starship Troopers” as a kid was how they portrayed the battles. I thought it was just bad writing at the time. Now, I can see it for the brilliant satire that it is. You have this nation that is always projecting military strength and showing off their weaponry and soldiers. But then you watch the actual battle and the troops are:

1) ill-equipped to the point that it takes multiple soldiers to take down one bug since their rifles do little damage on their own

2) are in a battlefield without armored vehicles or air support

3) given no strategy besides shoot everything that isn’t human

4) gullible and consumed so much propaganda to the point that they legitimately believed the bugs were stupid and easy to destroy

5) developed an irrational, xenophobic hatred of all bugs because of the aforementioned propaganda

And instead of switching up the tactics, the Federation just keeps on sending meat wave after meat wave. The humans only “won” because they finally overwhelmed the bugs. Before then, they were getting slaughtered left and right. It’s like a dumb, Michael Bay sci-fi version of “All Quiet on the Western Front”.

My current main project is Soft Daisy, a first person RPG in the vein of System Shock and Fallout with an emphasis on non traditional interaction and post-human weirdness. You play as a baby-tapeworm-shrimp CPU thing that becomes sentient and steals a "commercial corpse" to escape/conquer a corporate Dyson sphere, all the while battling privatized security forces, a rampant AI, and struggling corporate factions in a stagnating, abandoned mining outpost.

Working on this with @mpwgamedev (on Twitter). I do writing, assets, and sounds while he does programming (the important stuff, ehe) and a good bit of similar things as well. A very WIP project right now.

What is your opinion on trans men? Technically, they do nothing to womens rights (not that trans women do either) Bonus question: what are nonbinary people to do if we're afab? Do we go into women's spaces because of that or do we go into the racoon spaces?

Trans is just unnatural! Hmph, honestly these questions are dumb..women can't be men, they just feel too belittled and they become men to fit in since women's rights have been violated too greatly by trans women that actual women have little to nothing to work with.

Especially if you consider the younger generations of women, like they're dummies. Sad, sad dummies. They give in to peer pressure too easily!
