6/23/2022 - It's Saturn's birthday!! She turns 5 years old and I've had her for almost 3 years at this point!
To celebrate, here are some Saturn & DPC facts!
I have crocheted around 248 unique Pokemon since adopting Saturn! From Wooloo (2020) > Garbodor (2022)
Saturn's favorite is probably the big Rotom. She used to bring it to me to show she wanted to play. Saturn also really liked a crochet Pokeball I'd made that's all chewed up now!
Saturn has helped crochet most of the Pokemon I've crocheted since getting her (sits in my arms, plays with the yarn I'm using, grabs at whatever's in my hands), but these 14 are the ones I have pictures of her especially helping with: Bouffalant, Falinks, Murkrow, Magneton, Golem, Onix, Vanillish, Latios, Tentacool, Seedot, Abra, Sandslash, Mareanie, Sandile
Recently there was a 3-way fight between Saturn, my Obstagoon crochet, and a spider! Saturn won by knocking Obstagoon off the table and making the spider flee!
“Issue #17: You Are the Darkness Before the Storm”
This issue is approximately 90% foreshadowing by volume, so just keep it mind. Bookmark it or something.
For anyone who was worried about Pinepaw not telling anyone about the bones he found in Issue #12, he’s finally done it! But, uh... maybe you can see why he held out for so long. Cootstorm is not exactly a kind, understanding authority figure.
To clarify the fifth and sixth pages, the flower in front of Pinepaw is a wild rose, and the one in front of Nightberry are lingonberries. The animal below her is a red fox. The bird in the tree above the mound in the last page is a burrowing owl.
All I got left to do is some wings for Murkrow and I'm done but Saturn keeps sitting in front of me lol
I almost forgot Murkrow even had wings! In its standing model they're flattened so much against the body you can't even see them. I wish there were a way to crochet them to have the same folding capability but at this size it's either flat-flap or bulky-detailed-functional
Jack Manifold and his girlfriend Eleanor Neale got kittens! Their names are Saturn (gray) and Pluto (black tortie) and they're both British Shorthairs!
