People are good, actually

Okay, let me talk about this anarchism thing, that a lot of people living under the current capitalist system do not seem to grasp. As it is right now a lot of people view other people as potential threats, because we live in a society that pitches us against each other in constant competition. So even if you do not consider people a physical threat to your safety, you are kinda primed to see them as rivals at least. The only people you can rely on, society says, is your little nuclear family. (And like many queer folks, I can guarantee you: Yeah, that ain't working out for many.) Everybody, so society says, is just out for themselves and if they get a chance, they are gonna backstab you. Figuratively and literally.

It is because of this thinking, that a lot of people struggle to understand things that anarchists are proposing. A world without hierarchies. A world where everybody works together. A world where everybody has the same rights and chances. Because, so they say, in that kinda world some people will just then backstab everyone and go about their marry way with it.

And now, let me make on thing clear: Capitalism loves to push this narrative. Because it kinda needs the poorest to be in constant struggle with one another. So, we get pushed a narrative of rugged individualism. And whenever we have a show about extreme situations, we totally gonna see those characters turn against each other.

But what they do not get is, that this is not what humans are like.

We have more than enough data to proof that, in fact, humans are actually social ebings that will not only look out for each other but will in fact risk their lives to help strangers. Heck, our human capacity for empathy is so fucking big, that people will see a tiger, who might in any other circumstance fucking eat their face, stuck in a well and come together to save the tiger, releasing it to the wild.

And that is kinda one of those ideas that anarchism is based on: People are good, actually. They are just forced to be bad, because in the bad system we have created under capitalism, it is the only way they have to survive.

But as soon as even for a short moment the capitalist system is no longer working for them - for example after a natural desaster - most people will instantly revert to helping one another.

To put it differently: The problem is not people, the problem is forcing people to live in a system in which they have no other choice but to compete against one another, because otherwise they cannot survive. A system, in which people even working towards the same goal often are made to compete, preventing them from building bonds with one another. A system, that forces us to work against our own basic nature.

Which is why anarchism is for overthrowning this fucking system. Because most people under this system are not even living, they are barely surviving. And we, as a species, just can do so much better.

After the not so great encounter earlier, Optimus takes it upon himself to cheer you up.

The sound of your phone ringing catches your attention and as you lift it up you see, that it's Optimus calling you.

Pulse rising you pick up with the usual 'hello' as a greeting.

"My sincerest apologies for contacting you this late but would you mind walking over to the main hangar?"

"Eh, sure no problem. Why though?"

Fidgeting with a pen you listen to his answer.

"After today I wish to drive somewhere with you."

"Just you an I?", you ask, letting the pen fall onto the floor.

"As long as the idea does not arise negative feelings in you."

You nod, realizing he couldn't see you.

"Of course!", you answer a little too excited.

"I'll be there in a minute."

"I will meet you there then."

He hangs up the call and you could hear your fast pulse in your ears.

Quickly getting into your winter clothing, you walk outside to where the Prime was already waiting in his truck form.

The driver's door opens, inviting you to get in.

Carefully you do so, unsure whether to close the door yourself.

It closes on it's own, the warmth of the cabin welcoming you.

"It will be a 20 minute drive. If you wish to remove your winter coat you can place it next to you onto the passenger's seat.", Optimus's voice echoes over the radio.

You remove your coat, keeping it in your kap though.

"Now please fasten the seatbelt.", he says and you do as you're told.

The engine starts with a loud rumble, the vehicle setting in motion, leaving the base.

The first few minutes of the drive are silent.

Desperate to break the silence you speak up.

"If I may ask, where are we going exactly?"

"I wish to keep it a surprise."

You nod, again realizing that he CANNOT SEE YOU.

"That's fine."

Another moment of silence before he turns to speak.

"How are you feeling?"

"After what happened today?"

The Prime hums.

"Pretty awful to be honest. It was scary. But you saved me. I wanna thank you for that."

"I deemed it necessary to take action."

You chuckle. "Never thought I'd see you hit someone square in the face like that."

"I deemed it necessary.", he repeats.

"If negotiation cannot get me far..."

"You'll throw hands.", you finish his sentence after noticing he couldn't find the words to do so himself.

Ten minutes later he stops and you get into your wanr coat again.

The door opens and you get out, careful not to slip.

Before you stretched an entirely frozen lake. Tge light of the setting sun colored the ice in purple and orange. Mesmerized by the sight you don't notice the shifting behind you. Only when Optimus stands beside you in his mass displaced form you connect the dots.

He was still a head taller than you in this form.

"Now, what's your plan, Prime?", you ask, hands on your hips.

"Teaching you in how to keep your balance on the ice."

Eyes widening you look up at him.

"Wh-now?! Why?"

"Because you deserve to enjoy yourself, which you were not able to do today. I am here to change that if you allow me to."

He extends his servo, which you grab hesitantly.

He nods, slowly guiding you down onto the ice

"I don't think this is a good idea.", you mumble doubting the whole situation.

"I am here with you. Holding no ill intentions."

"I know.", you respond, holding onto his arms for dear life.

"Let's do this then.", you try to convince yourself that this not end in a total desaster.

After a few initial rounds of tumbling and falling once, you got quite the hang of it.

Certainly you couldn't move across the ice as gracefully as Prime, but it could be worse.

"You are improving."

"Because you are patient with me Optimus.", you admit.

"Pressuring you would not prove to be of advantage. I let you take all the time you need and be patient."

Taking a deep breath, you brace yourself for what you were saying next.

"And that's why I love you Optimus.", you blurt out.

"There I said it."

His eyes widen for a mere moment, before his gaze relaxes, looking at you with nothing but love.

"Wait, don't tell me you feel the same?!"

"How could I not feel love for you? From the few people on earth accepting us, you are the most welcoming. Every aspect of you is something I admire greatly, and I wish to learn more about who you are."

It was late when Kiyoshi and Jeb came home after the Valentine's Desaster. After they'd met Sai and Jack at the market, they went over to work on their secret project. Jeb's plan had been to leave their home to be out of the way and to not upset Saiwa and Jack with their presence. Their intentions were good, and if Jack and Sai hadn't cought them together, it would even have worked. Kiyoshi is sneaking around the houses to Jack's shop to make some cheese (as Noxee requested). Hopefully no one sees him this time.

Even though it's painful to see how Jack had reacted when he saw him, Kiyoshi can understand him and Saiwa. They had a lot to endure because of him. How is he ever supposed to make it up to them? It's his fault that Saiwa and Jeb avoid each other for days now. All because they wanted to help him. Kiyoshi hopes that Saiwa never finds out that Kiyoshi's mind wasn't as far away as they thought during their fake relationship. He remembers everything...

And as much as he appreciates Vlad and Jeb's help and comraderie - and them being by his side - he can't ask this of them. It only deepens the gorge between all of them. He has to talk to someone and ask if he can leave, so Jack can heal in peace. He will only upset Jack when they stay here together.

What advantages does it have to be a diety if he can't even help his closest friends? All the sacrifices he made to be able to fulfill his duties for the Temple and the Resistance - futile. He messed up his relationship with his fated mate Jack and even had to betray Vlad to the Council. He can't go on like this. Dtui isn't allowed to have any contact to him but he has to talk to someone. How is he supposed to live with this guilt? He's tempted to go back into the Tree but his friends would keep on trying to get him out there again and this would only cause them more and more pain...

Every second they spend here together is painful for all of them. Kiyoshi is also aware of that Jack is avoiding the Temple to let Arturo treat his pain. He's glad that Ji Ho helps him so much (and Kojin) but Ji Ho can only ease Jack's pain. He's not able to heal it. The pain is caused by their breakup. And it's impossible to be cured as long as they are divided...

Kiyoshi also made a label for his cheese. The name of his brand will be 'Moonchild'. He'd seen a lot of full moons during the decades he'd spent in the Tree. These were the hardest times for him because that was when he missed Jack the most. His Moonchild 🐺

DCA RUIN THEORY! SPOILERS!!

DCA theory -

First! - Sun and Moon are not what we saw in the first game, the virus not only affected Moon, but Sun too . since Sun acts odd, he picks you up and puts you in one place, always – every time..

why? No child is ever gonna stay still for too long, so.. is odd, also, his voice line, the “trouble” one and the “lights on” – clearly something is wrong.. he sounds worried but frustrated too..

he wants the player to focus on him, stay still,, not really what they should do, I think..but they are not aggressive, their jumpscare is not attacking, Moon hands are visible, unlike the rest.. who have their faces in you face - Moon is not that creepy if you look at it- or maybe is just me haha -

so maybe.. just maybe, Sun was the energetic one, jumps, run , play time! He was happy, carefree! filled with energy so kids get tired- Moon was soft, caring, but quiet and calm, since there is  collectible of moonie, I swear -I saw it, it showed Cassy opinión “ I never sleep better” (didnt find the screenshot that I wanted but this works too)

so they were harmless! only after the virus is that parents started to complain, but before? It was good.. thats to explains the strange behaviors - now another thing that got me curious..

- The light issue, I feel like the whole  “lights on – off” is just  an option  installed but not activated, like a flash in the phone! you can have it, or not!

maybe they run but time – they must have an internal clock! So first was Sun - or course, he makes the kiddos tired maybe then comes Eclipse? Or maybe he is just the safe mode, the mix of the two for when there is any child with  special needs of lonely, maybe just for  when there is no many kiddos, Eclipse shows up, maybe doesn't mention who he is, he just, shows up, and takes care of them all, being the perfect mix ¡ happy  but calm! -keep in mind , im not tech - so all I know is what I see and experienced - for me Eclipse can be

1- another AI or

2- a safety protocol who desactivates some of Sun and Moon more energetic behavious - kinda lika a - save battery option- maybe.. or the closer thing..

I don't think the reboot got rid of Moon -he seems.. annoyed, in pain, the light system doesn't work anymore due to the daycare being not dark and not bright , is a middle that causes errors,  seems like Moon has been in control for most time..Sun shows up from time to time - maybe to look for a way to get fixed.. to get help..

Moon acts odd still.. but may be just his AI being too broken,-or the pure pain of the gears not working as they should be! but is not bad! My baby is not bad! Is just in pain! There is a clear long sigh when they are rebooted, like Moon can finally rest! The reboot  got rid of the light option and now they run with the time zone option!! reason why Eclipse says "I need to clean up before we can open in the morning" so.. when Cassy gets to them , is already night but since maybe they havent charge in a long time or - their system detected the virus-or Moon ai being corrupted, then Eclipse took charge .. is also curious.. is eclipse not seeying the desaster? is this safe mode unable to make them raalize their tragic fate?.. maybe just they focus on the girl in from of them - then may have seen the real deal..

yeahm that's my idea so far..

Eclipse is always been in there, but maybe with the “run the AI by light system” he didn't showed up in the small time we got to be in the daycare.. – we only see Moon.. - that and - maybe since is was close time- there was no need for him to show up!

Then the reboot free him! Yey! And curious, he knows cassy.. Sun doesnt.. maybe is the pain? Maybe is the mask.. yes. The mask. When we fix them, there is no mask, just her face.. Eclipse took a look at her , and just calls her birtday.. is odd , he and Roxy mention this.. Roxy in a more casual manner but that can be due to her not being programmed to care for kidds , just entretaint them - she maybe - like a learning AI - have some people she likes more, she may know when someone is a casual or a usual visitor.. meanwhile Eclipse - maybe he remembers everyone.. also, curious thing.. the mask shows lines in their body , doesnt fill the missing part like it does to Roxy, like here - or even like the cameras does!

I know she is a node? thing? (Im not sure the words or what even is going on) so she is like, special for the story.. but then.. taking that aside, chica is seen different, just like endos and appaently Monty.. Roxy is filled, Freddy is not even there when using the mask.. the only one who Looks! the same but just Acts different is the DCA.. is odd - but cool detail..

also, there's a dialoge of Sun, saying "not me . the other me!"

so this means Sun see Moon as his other side? I know the book mentions they used to act in the teather as hero and villain, and sharing one body, they may just learn to see each other as "my other half " in a way.. one could read it is "is just one AI pretending to be two characters" but I rather think is two AI who know they must work as one, in harmony , in a choreography dance maybe is the system of light that keeps them separated - thats why Moon said the lights hurts, is a forced change they cant do cuz they are locked in some type of error .. one specia error we -or Cassy end up fixing with a reboot and again, only Eclipse knows who she is.. maybe the idiots running the daycare put on so many locks on poor Moonie and Sunny here that end up locking info data? humans can be messy! idk.. thats most of my ideas.. the idea that Sun and Moon see each other as one - breaks my idea I used to have of them- but is an concept I love!! love it!! not only is cute! as clearly is not a "we pretend to be two" but "we are two who like to be one" kinda like BloodMoon! but in wholesome way since in no way Sun seems afraid to Moon! if anything they seem to wish to be closer! also again, the collectable! Moon was good! I swear! he has to be good! welp, thanks for reading me!! <3

i do enjoy Saber a lot more now but I think it's biggest weakness is that it doesn't know how to pace itself with a big main cast

there are interesting and good things here. Rintaro being torn between his loyalty as a swordsman and his bond with his friends is one. but because we spend so much time with every other swordsman as well all we see is Rintaro looking Sad(tm) every episode for like ten episodes. Same with Kento - him being traumatized by the bad futures is a great plotline, but because a lot of other things are going on, we often just see him stand there and look miserable and say cryptic things once per episode (also I think they showed their hand way early with showing that this is ALREADY a future Kento hadn't seen. Kento hadn't seen Elemental Dragon, he hadn't seen them saving Mei he hadn't seen Rintaro defeat Zooous. I think it would have hit harder if he HAD seen foreseen these chain of events as well, and THEN it gets harder to convince him that they can still do something else).

Durandal makes me irrationally angry though for such bullshit reasons lmao, I mean I guess he can still redeem himself in my eyes if he shows me he has a fuckin Purpose

(Ren also kind of makes me. Eh. But he finally joined up with Desast, so I'm hoping I'll enjoy his thing more.)

And because of the big cast, a lot of characters don't get much to do (hello Daishinji and Ogami... just to stay with the Riders), and also. Like.

Hello I'm G, certified villain stan, 2/3rd into Saber, and I still don't give a shit about either of the villains. Besides you know. That Storious and Master Logos absolutely fucked. You know it, I know it, let's move on.

And it bums me out. I love entertaining villains. Storious is the only one who somewhat interests me, I guess.

And Mei still should have became Espada, I will die on this hill.

They are sharing some soft kisses, some innocent touches - a cheek is covered by a soft palm, and scarred fingers trail along the shape of a shoulder in return - when Logan speaks, breaking the silence between them that has existed for a while now---

---And Strange blinks, stopping his movements as a hint of surprise crosses is barely-lit features.

He has to think about it, to realize what the younger speaks about - he does not get it, not at first, which causes his dark brows to knit for a second as confusion sets in, bright eyes flicking along the blonde's features in search for an answer, before, finally, a set of full lips part in realization.

Logan. The young man in front of him - Stephen knows him.

He knows him from back in the day when he has been working as a neurosurgeon still; Asked to attend a very complicated emergency surgery that needed to be done on a severely injured patient coming straight from space, a man who was the only survivor of a true desaster having happened back on that moon Mimas---

Now, suddenly, just like that, everything makes a lot of sense.

The scars make sense, scattered all along that handsome man's body. His reactions to seeing Stephen in varying states of roughness make sense. The feeling of already having met him before - that also makes sense now. A lot.

And the sorcerer blinks, brows lifted in surprise, feeling a sudden wave of guilt and shame flooding him like a tidal wave; How did he not think about... this? How did he not realize that this man, this soul, is the very same one he's operated on a long time ago, together with other well-known surgeons, fighting hard to keep him alive and not have him die on their table?

"...Logan, I...", he starts, momentarily unsure how to proceed. A pause follows, scarred fingers now making their way to a beautiful face, cupping a cheek in return while his thumb traces the shape of a cheekbone. "---I'm sorry I... didn't realize that you--- I... I just didn't think---"

He should have, but Strange did not. How long did Logan know about him having been one of the doctors...?

Blinking again, a set of bight eyes closing momentarily, the sorcerer shifts a bit closer - then lifts his chin, just so that he is able to press a soft kiss against the blonde's forehead, allowing it to linger for a few seconds.

"...I'm just a stupid dumbass sometimes. I knew you felt familiar, in a way, seeing your face - I just never connected the dots. It's been a while..."

That he is. Will always be, no matter how many titles he manages to gain in his life, no matter whether he will ever end up as a sorcerer supreme or some shit. He's still Stephen, still the man he always used to be, albeit changed. In some parts, at least.

"And please - don't thank me. I swore an oath to cause no harm. It was my job to try my very best to keep you alive - and to make sure your injuries were treated."

Lips separate themselves from the other's forehead, the tip of a nose brushing against Logan's own, eyes remaining closed.

"---I'm so glad you're here, and that you... recovered. That you made it." It's a whisper, but it is deeply heartfelt and sincere as it slips from between Strange's teeth, breathed out into the small space between them.

What my theory of Andor pressuposes is that there WILL be a desasterous situation Cassian will find himself in, in which some kind of poisonous gas or empirial toxic weapon will be involved and everyone (the audience and his ppl) WILL think he's totally dead but he WILL survive because he got that Kenari immunity TM build up. It's just good storytelling.

The imperial desaster that killed his planet and old life will save his new one.

We've survived the highs and lows of Jyama Ball, but we're only a little bit closer to discovering who the Desaster is. If they go undiscovered to the final round, they win the game outright and get their ideal world. And with the mysterious executives, Keiwa, Neon, and Ace's respective sponsors, Archimedel, and Buffa all making their moves, something tells me the real game is only beginning.

...more importantly than any of that though, where the Hell are we headed now?! Why are there BOMBS everywhere? What do the Jyamato even have to gain from these constant invasions other than food and conquest?

All these questions and more... probably not answered today, but like, important to keep in mind.

Just watched the Saber Final Stage(it did not include the talkshow afterwards in the download).

Asmodeus as a villain was strange.

He acted completely different, and no one mentioned anything else from Super Hero Senki or the TV Crossover either.

Reika and Ryoga were the first to get hit, and also never appeared out of Henshin.

Then we see the OT4 out and about.

Rintaro literally asks, about the OT4 hanging out "Mei-san, this is what normal Homo Sapiens would describe as a date, right?"

Yes, Rintaro, you four are on a date.

Kento then tells Rintaro to just straight up ask Mei on a date already, which proves the entire OT4 have been blind to the fact they're already all together.

Then Kento and Touma do a Heart Shape with their hands, idiots(affectionate) .

Asmodeus and Charybdis(even though his Book was destroyed, Asmodeus has it?) Appear, Daishinji-san, Ogami-san, and Ren appear and the Six Northern Base riders transform, Charybdis spits out brainwashed Megid Generals ans Desast, and Yuri appears.

I am no longer gonna be describing the story.

Reika showed her inner Brocon.

Ryoga was thoroughly humiliated.

Swordboy OT3 as ths Musketeers is amazing.

Daishinji-san as the Beast and Ogami-san as the Beauty is Bizzare.

Yuri the Pooh, hilarious.

I.. cannot for the life of me remember what Ren was.

Haouken Xross Saber appearing to Touma was amazing looking.

Kamen Rider Tassel was. Strange.

The Magid Generals and Desast regaining their free will was great.

Rintaro, Ryoga and Zoous was epic.

Kento, Ren and Desast, chef's kiss.

Touma and Storius, incredible.

The Megid Generals and Desast Sacrificing themselves, almost heartbreaking.

Ultimate Bahamut is Amazing, easy to forget it's one's suit and another's helmet, recolored togethed.

Ending on the OT4 before they break Character was great.

Aoki just lying on the Goddamn floor to stay in the Audience's line of site, great.

All in all, magnificent.

I will watch the V-Cinema, actually, I need to know how to rework it, and for that I need to see it.

But only after Beyond Generations, which will be watched where ir fits for Revice.

Saber Final Stage was kinda insane tbh

Not only did it continue the saga of Rintaro's attempts to woo Mei, but also had all the Northern Base swordsmen shipping them with KenTouma as the co-captains XD

They really went and made a Pooh parody right after he became public domain, I love it. And Ren was Pinocchio :))

Oh, and for the thing with Ryouga and Reika- see, their actors were only on the Tokyo leg of the tour, which is the one that got made into the DVD, and that's why we see them on stage afterward. But they weren't in the other shows. The Osaka and Fukuoka shows had different cast members as guests. The only cast members who were in all three shows were the actors for the original Northern Base swordsmen and Mei. So Ryouga and Reika had to stay transformed throughout, so that the show just has one consistent story even with the rotating guests.

Fun fact, they also performed different songs for the Final Live- the Osaka and Fukuoka shows had either Rewrite the Story or Will Save Us, while Tokyo had both.

Ryo Aoki just lying there on the stage XD Two of my mutuals, @iristial and @springstarfangirl commented something along the lines of "draw me like one of your cute toku boys" and I just about lost it. He's such a menace, I love him.

What actually is Eco Fascism?

A topic I do not see explained often enough in Solarpunk groups is: What actually is Ecofascism? Basically every Solarpunk group I have ever been to has the rules "No Greenwashing" and "No Ecofascism", but while Greenwashing will be explained quite well, eco fascism often isn't. So please let me explain it to you.

Naomi Klein called it "environmentalism through genocide", which is a very apt description.

In general Ecofascism links the land and its nature to the lands people - or rather the perceived people. Because, of course, for the most part it is a white supremacist ideology (though variations of it have sprung up in non-white countries like Japan), so first and foremost they link colonial land to the white settlers, not the indigenous people.

As such Ecofascism very much started out with someone being appalled by indigenous people taking care of their land, as according to this white dude this did not leave the land in its prestine condition. This dude was a bloke called Madison Grant. He wrote a book about the "Great Race". A book that Hitler later went on to call "his bible". And obviously he was like all for eugenicism and what not.

Now, I could go on and on about the history of it, but really, it is not important.

First and foremost the central believe of ecofascism goes something like this:

There are too many people living on earth right now which is the reason for environmental destruction and climate change. Hence some people need to die to save the planet.

Only certain people (most of the time they mean white people) are abled to properly take care of the environment, while everyone else is destroying it.

To put it very popculturally: Thanos is basically an ecofascist. Which is why the entire "Thanos was right" narrative is so fucking dangerous and why the Russos did horrible by making him sympathetic.

Now, of course Thanos is in so far still just a bit tamer than your average ecofascist, because he is like "equally out of every group people need to die". Meanwhile your typical ecofascists will usually very clearly say: "People from any group that is not my group need to die."

As I said: Most ecofascism is linked to white supremacism. They will usually use arguments about overpopulation and then point to China, India and Africa.

What they of course will ignore in all those arguments is, that a) historically no country has as much emissions as Europe and the US and b) that the richtest 10% of humanity emits more CO2 and other environmental pollutants than the poorest 50% combined. So, as long as the "killing too many people" does not involve those top 10%, it is not gonna make much of a ditch when it comes to the environment.

Additionally to those genocidal ideations, it basically also has the unscientific idea, that the only way to take care of nature is to leave it alone and in a "prestine" condition. Which often leads to more natural desasters and completely forgets that humans are, indeed, a part of nature.

So, yeah... It is basically just is white supremacy paired with capitalism and eugenics.

It is shitty as fuck. So, please, call it out if you see it.

We all are absolutely responsible for doing what WE can do and what we can control per climate change of course. It’s just exhausting (pun INTENDED, hahah) when the unimaginably wealthy use their own jets without even having a second thought for these especially short flights. (And how many private jets does one celebrity need…)

It’s kind-boggling but they just live in a different reality. They’ll request that special “Evian-filtered” air in about 20 years right? 😂🤣

Yeah, it's absolutely not a good look on them.

But while the super rich can quite easily wriggle out of paying taxes for instance without really suffering the consequences (like broken infrastructure, underfunded health care and education etc), they cannot do the same with the effects of climate change.

At the end of the day, however, it's only governments that can really affect the necessary changes that might yet save out planet for everyone. But for that to happen, people would not only have to get up an vote, but they would have to vote for the right parties, people and forms of government, instead of increasingly reactionary, authoritarian, fascist regimes and politicians.

Which brings us to the next hard truth: come November, the US are going to begin their descent into fascism, and it will take years, if not decades (and maybe civil wars) for them to maybe get out of it again. For the duration of their New Middle Ages, they will not be of any help, let alone a leader in combatting the climate desaster, and sadly the rest of the world, even if they showed unprecedented unison, won't be able to do it without the US.

So there really isn't much hope for a positive outcome anyway.
