why is palestine so important to muslim?

lets see..

Allah has named palestine as the "Holy Land and the Blessed Land” in the Quran. It’s mentioned in Surah Al- Ma’idah ( 5:21 ):

“O my people, enter the Holy Land which Allah has assigned to you and do not turn back (from fighting in Allah’s cause ) for then you will be returned as losers.”

one of the signs of Qiyamah is a war against the Jews. if this is the war Allah himself called upon, its befalls on every muslim to fight on the side of Palestine.

2. many great Prophets of islam and great men were born on that oly land. Palestine was the birthplace of many Prophets including Hazrat Ibrahim (AS) who built the holy Kaaba, hazrat Ishaq (AS), hazrat Dawud (as), hazrat Yaqub(as), hazrat Sulayman (as), hazrat Zakariya (as), hazrat Yahya (as) and our beloved hazrat Isa (as).

other prominant figures like Irmiya, Maryam (as) mother of Isa(as), Samuil, Talut, Uzair and Yusha.

3. Palestine is home to one of the Sacred Masjid in Islam, the Masjid al-Aqsa. Masjid Al-Aqsa is the third holiest site in Islam. It was the first Qibla for Muslims. it is also the mausoleum of hazrat suleyman (as), at this holy site, he drew his last breath.

Many references from religious books have been given with respect to this mosque. As mentioned in Sahih Muslim:

“Isa the son of Maryam (AS) would then descend, and their (the Muslims) commander (Imam Mahdi) would invite him to come and lead them in prayer, but he would say, “No, indeed some of you are commanders over each other as Allah’s honour for this Ummah”’. [Muslim]

It is the land where Isa (AS ) will defeat Dajjal, the anti-Christ as its narrated in Mu’adh ibn Jabal:

“The Prophet (ﷺ) said: The flourishing state of Jerusalem will be when Yathrib is in ruins, the ruined state of Yathrib will be when the great war comes, the outbreak of the great war will be at the conquest of Constantinople and the conquest of Constantinople when the Dajjal (Antichrist) comes forth.

It’s also narrated that Prophet Isa (AS) would then search for him (the Dajjal) until he would catch hold of him at the gate of Ludd (a village near Jerusalem) and would kill him.” [Muslim]

Palestine was the site of the miraculous night journey of Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ).

It’s clearly mentioned in Surah al-Israa, chapter 17 Verse 1:

“Exalted is He, who took His Servant by night from Masjid Al- Haram to Masjid Al-Aqsa, whose surroundings we have blessed, to show him our signs. Indeed, He is the Hearing, the Seeing.”

now lets see what Allah mentioned upon this inhuman activity, for indeed he knows the future:

The Jews, the people of Israel are cursed for killing their Prophets and disobeying Allah’s commands. Surah Baqarah [2:87] reads:

“ … But is it not that every time a messenger came to you, O children of Israel, with what your souls did not desire, you were arrogant. And a party (of messengers) you denied and another party you killed. ”

Another verse from Surah Al-Ma’idah [5.32] narrates:

“Because of that, We decreed upon the Children of Israel that whoever kills a soul unless for a soul of for corruption (done) in the land – it is as if he had slain mankind entirely. And whosoever saves one – it is as if he had saved mankind entirely.”

Allah says in Quran, Surah Al- Ma’idah [5.78]:

“Cursed were those who disbelieved among the Children of Israel by the tongue if David and of Jesus, the son of Mary. That was because they disobeyed and habitually transgressed.”

In response to the zionist entity’s siege of Al-Shifa Medical Complex in North Gaza on Sunday, we called for an emergency action alongside Healthcare Workers for Palestine to show the world that New York stands against the ongoing genocide and its continuous escalations. This was the first protest [Within Our Lifetime] hosted during the month of Ramadan this year, marked by grief and loss as the people of Gaza are continually starved, displaced, murdered, and tortured while Palestinians are banned from entering Masjid Al-Aqsa to pray. Before the rally began, journalists filmed dozens of cops dressed in riot gear all around Zuccotti Park. The moment we started chanting, NYPD’s Timothy Beaudette attempted to put on a show of force by barging through the crowd and threatening to arrest organizers for allegedly using sound amplification devices. We continued to lead chants and raise our voices for Palestine unbothered and began marching shortly thereafter. As soon as the march began, police attacked protestors indiscriminately and targeted multiple WOL organizers for arrest, hoping to decapitate the march by disappearing its leaders. One of the arrestees was Abdullah Akl, a prominent Muslim youth leader within the community and in WOL. It is not lost on us that he was arrested during Ramadan, while he was fasting along with many of our brothers and sisters at protests, throughout the city, and in Palestine. Even though Abdullah was still in police custody during Iftar, the police refused to allow him and other Muslim arrestees to break their fasts. As the protest continued, the flood split into several streams around lower Manhattan. Eventually, everyone reconvened, taking the streets and sidewalks outside of Eric Adams’ Iftar dinner, a desperate attempt to tokenize Muslims and co-opt the community’s faith to whitewash his unbridled support for genocide and contempt of Muslim political expression. As we protested, we broke our fast with water and dates on the streets of our city and continued chanting against the fascist, zionist mayor. A community member came out after disrupting the event and informed us that there were hardly any Muslims present at all. Even this desperate photo-op was a bust, showing that our people will not stand with genocide supporters and will not give them any opportunity to use us for political points.

Police—dressed in full riot gear, brandishing batons and shields—continually threatened protestors during and after Iftar, pushing barricades in on us and attempting to kettle us (an illegal policing tactic) multiple times. Eventually, they even called a Level 3 mobilization (the second highest for the NYPD, which requires all special units to be called into the area as squad cars are sent out from every command center in the city). No matter what they tried, however, our people's will and determination to flood New York for Gaza prevailed and we successfully protested the event until its conclusion, at which point we shamed the genocide normalizers who were leaving the Iftar dinner, all while the entire area was shut down due to an abundance of officers crowding the street desperately trying to keep us on the sidewalk.

As Eric Adams + other zionists host normalization events to save their tarnished image with the Muslim community, his foot soldiers are targeting Muslim protestors + leaders, arbitrarily arresting them, and denying them the right to break their fast + observe their traditions. The NYPD threatens us as we chant, pray, and break our fast. They dress up in riot gear to counter a flood of protestors using only our voices as we fight against the genocide of our people in Gaza and zionist politicians’ attempts to tokenize our community. During our first protest during the holy month of Ramadan, city government officials and the NYPD made clear to us their disdain for the Muslim community and the values of liberation and justice that we stand for. We have no illusions about who these so-called “leaders” are and what they stand for. We will continue to flood New York for Palestine and stand against the fascist politicians who attack us on the streets as they fund the attacks on our people in Gaza.

Allah saved the Bani Israel from Firaun through the Prophet Musa (AS). They crossed the sea and witnessed Firaun drowning. Afterward, they reached an open desert, heading back to their homeland. When they arrived at the city's entrance, they found powerful people ready to fight. Allah instructed them to engage in this battle as a test from Him. You see, before Allah had made a way in the sea for them, but now they were asked to fight. It was a test from Allah.

However, they were afraid and refused to enter and fight, so Allah forbade the land for them for forty years, during which they wandered in the desert, homeless.

Musa passed away while they were in the desert. Two people, one of them being Yousha bin Nun, encouraged the Bani Israel to try. Yousha led them into the city, fought, and emerged victorious after forty years. The entire generation changed during those forty years, with new and strong individuals replacing the weak ones.

Yousha bin Nun was the first to conquer Masjid Al Aqsa.

The lesson here is that when Allah presents an opportunity for good, even if it seems tough and you doubt your abilities, don't wait for miracles. Take a step, trust Allah, and do your best. Allah will guide your efforts if you're sincere. Never give up, as the Bani Israel's refusal cost them forty years. If you reject a chance to do good, you might later regret not trying.

I know you feel helpless right now, but don't let the small things go. Even if all you can do is make dua for them, then make dua. Be a part of this, no matter how small the part is. Be the voice of Gaza 🇵🇸

O Allah, allow our graves to be the best of homes for us after we leave this world,.

O Allah, indeed you have said and your speech is all truth and clear “call upon me and I shall answer and grant you” so my Allah this is my prayer so bring forth quickly your answer and victory from you alone oh answerer. I have stood at your door, so I beg you to not forsake me, I crave your protection and help so I ask you not reject to me, grant me what I asked and also grant me what I have missed, O Allah please grant the collator of this Dua the best of what you have in your treasure, for this world and thereafter. O Allah, for every person that wishes good for Islam and the Muslims, guide him or her to all that is good, and for every person that wishes Islam and the Muslims harm then take them away the manner in which the most honourable and one capable of all things does so.

O Allah, be with the weak, save humanity from being its own enemy. Protect Your creation from oppression and oppressed from amongst the Muslims and Save the people of Syria, Iraq, Libya, Sudan, Somalia, Egypt, Yemen, Morocco, Bangladesh, Burma, China, Africa, Qatar, Lebanon, Nigeria, Jordan, Gaza, Palestine and India, protect them from internal and external oppressors and give them justice. O Allah, protect us all from violence, fear and danger, you are our Protector. O Allah, preserve and protect the holy places of the Muslims. O Allah, increase the love between the husband and wife in our communities, grant them sabr and guide them to identify each other’s status and responsibilities and help them to fulfil. O Allah, help orphans and poor wherever they are, give me the means and ability to do whatever we can for them. O Allah, open a way for us to go to Hajj as soon as possible, so that we can fulfil our obligation towards You. O Allah, help all of my brothers and sisters who are suffering for your sake through torture, violence, in jails, and imprisonments around the world, please forgive their sins and help them to be free from the evil torture. For hours, Masjid Al-Aqsa and worshippers were being bombed this morning and the world stayed fucking silent. When attacks are fired back, now it’s an issue of defending a fucking terrorist state.
