my mom loves this piece so i recorded it for her birthday. this is meant to be a piano solo but i decided to rearrange the right hand part for sax and i think it worked super well! this isn’t completely true to the original as there were some parts that i had to cut or change because they didn’t work properly on sax, but i’m still really happy with the finished product. hopefully my mom likes it!😊

Hello Studyblr!

Hello everyone! I’m creating a studyblr because I love the posts I see, and I would love to have some way to keep myself accountable and keep track during college! Some facts about me:

My name is Malachai!

I am 18 years old, but will be 19 in September!

I am a transgender dude, socially transitioned for five years and medically transitioning for about 4 months at time of writing!

I am going to be a freshman in college this fall

I am majoring in Music Education, my instrument is flute, and I plan to minor in French and environmental studies! 

I couldn’t fit an environmental studies class into my schedule this first semester, but I will eventually!

I have been studying French for five years, I put myself into Intermediate French II this semester, and I love learning languages! I don’t know many though

In my free time, I like to study Irish! It is such a beautiful language

I will be living in the dorms this year

My studyblr will be a mixture of notes, reblogging posts that will help me, and general updates on college and how I study and balance!

I have to work a lot. My classes are 15 hours a week, I have to work at least 20 to maintain health insurance, and my workstudy will ask for 8 hours a week. So I will be a busy little bee!

I love bees but I’m actually quite allergic. 

Also allergic to coconut and water chestnuts!

I am a Ravenclaw!

I like to crochet, play video games, play D&D, play MTG, play with my hamsters, watch anime, watch Studio Ghibli, and read manga!

Finally made a studyblr!

Hello, studyblrs!! This is my first post after a short break and a change of perspective, so I thought I should introduce myself:

~ My name is Emma Jean, I’m 16 and I’ve have just moved to Australia after three months of backpacking the world!!

~ Long story short, after a bad academic/mental health period last year, a couple of existential breakdowns, and a eye opening overseas experience I’ve decided it’s time to knuckle down and get my sh*t sorted.

~ After travelling and seeing the wonders of the world, I feel the urge to understand it all. Astrophysics is a path I have recently decided is the career for me. What better to do than fill my tiny contribution to humankind than to help find out what’s beyond! Hopefully this idea will last, as I’ve wanted to be everything under the sun since I was born.

~ My other hobbies include all things music related. I play piano, drums and I hope to start the harp next year

Hello everyone! I’m Eszter (or just Esti) from Hungary and this is my studyblr reintroduction! I’ve been around for about a year now under the name orastudy but sadly, I wasn’t very active. Still, I missed the studyblr community and now I’m trying to relaunch this studyblr/langblr with a new name: estistudies!

languages i speak: hungarian (native), english (c1) target languages: german (b1), romanian (beginner) future target languages: finnish

major: English (currently in 2nd year) minor: theoretical linguistics (codenamed language technology) my classes: lots of linguistics; English literature, culture, history; academic writing

hobbies and passions: reading, taking long walks between beautiful old buildings, hiking, linguistics and languages

I also did bullet journaling last year but when university got more hectic in October I couldn’t stick to it. In 2019 I’m going to make it more minimalistic and academic focused, maybe with some “diary” kind of logs as well. Iam terrible at taking pictures of anything other than nature and the lighning is always bad anyway, but I’m going to try to have more original posts - both photos and some tips or vocab lists. i think this tune is really cool, but it definitely gave me a challenge this week. i recorded this pretty much immediately after learning it and really struggled to settle into the chord changes until about halfway through my solo. however, i’ve been working on incorporating faster lines and more rhythmic variation and i’m super happy with the progress i made on that front in this recording. this is a work in progress but i think i’ll be able to do a lot with it as i get more comfortable with it!
