you couldn't actually believe what you were seeing. jude bellingham calling you gorgeous? what sort of dream were you living in? you tried not to get too excited, you'd heard all about his reputation and he'd probably never give you a second thought. but you were wrong.

the next 6 months that followed were a dream. you'd exchanged phone numbers with jude a month after your first conversation and you'd spoken every day since. you'd congratulated him after every win and comforted him after every loss. facetiming eachother became your nightly routine and you couldn't believe how lucky you were.

but you tried to take it all with a grain of salt. jude had a reputation of being a player, something you already knew and had been reminded of by your friends. you were more than a fuck and you wanted jude to know that.

jude: hey love

jude: i've got a big game and i was wondering if you want to come and then stay over with me for a few days? i really wanna see you again

you: i'll try to come but i don't know if i'll be able to get the time off

jude: just let me know so i can get enough tickets x

you didn't really know how to react. you loved meeting jude for the first time, but the idea of going over to stay with him scared you. you'd started to really like jude, and worried that he only wanted to get you to come over to him so sleep with you.

you knew all about his reputation, and you didn't think you knew him well enough so you slowly distanced yourself from jude.

jude: can you come? we haven't spoke in a few days and i need to know

you: i can't come sorry. the next weeks just super busy for me :(

the following week consisted of you and jude barely speaking. you felt bad about it, you didn't mean to upset him but you didn't want to get your hopes up. you'd heard about footballers and the way they had casual hookups then ignored girls. you didn't want that. you were worth more than that and you didn't want to get hurt by jude because he didn't have the same intentions as you.

but jude was on the exact same page as you. he didn't understand why you'd just basically disappeared, had he done something wrong? did he make you feel like he was rushing you? he'd tried to call you, but you didn't answer, instead texting him a simple "sorry i've been busy lately" and leaving him alone.

at first jude tried to appreciate that you were just abit busy. he knew you cared alot about your studies and work and were independent, but he couldn't help feeling a bit hurt. nothing in your routine had actually changed, and jude had started to get the impression you were ignoring him on purpose.

you wouldn't answer his calls and barely texted him, so he decided to come to you. he messaged one of your closest friends that he'd met before and asked her to help him suprise you.

the pounding on your door abruptly woke you up, and you swung it open with a scowl on your face until you saw who was behind it. your eyes locked with judes, and you couldn't actually believe he was infront of you holding the biggest bunch or roses you'd ever seen.

jude's heart melted at the sight of you. your hair messy, a duvet wrapped about you and a tired grin on your face. "jude?"

"hi" his voice was shakey but he smiled widely regardless.

"what're you doing here? come in you're gonna get ill"

he stepped in, shutting the door behind him but he didn't dare move any further. "i'm sorry. if you want me to leave i will but i just wanted to see that you were ok. we've suddenly just stopped speaking and i was worried that i pressured you. i'm sorry if i made you think i was pushing you to get too serious to fast. i just really like you"

"seriously?"

"yes"

"jude i'm so sorry. i didn't wanna upset you i just got scared. i know all about footballers reputations and yours and i just didn't wanna be another girl that you just sleep with then ignore" you felt mean saying it. super mean.

"what? look i've done that before but you're so so different. everything about you is so perfect. your laugh, your eyes, how kind you are, the way you always see the best in people. i've known you for six months but i feel like i've known you all my life. you're literally perfect. i'm sorry if i made you feel like i didn't see you that way. i will do whatever it takes to prove to you how much you mean to me" he brought his hands up to cup your cheeks and you leaned into them, the warmth of his palms and his words making love wash over you.

"i really really like you jude" you mumbled, and he grinned wide "good cause i really really like you too"

"y'know, if you can still get me tickets i'll come to your matches"

"don't feel like you have to baby"

"i do. i want us to spend more time together jude"

he pulled you into his chest, wrapping his arms around you. "d'ya wanna go and get breakfast tomorrow? it can be our first proper date" he lightly pinched your side, melting when he felt a smile form on your face. "i'd like that"

“I think you’re one of a kind.” he hums, flicking the hair tie on his wrist-your hair tie-against him. The soft slap it lands on his skin brings you back to reality. 

You don’t look up. Partly afraid, partly ashamed. Who are you to be one of a kind to Jude ? 

He swallows, fidgeting with his hands from his seat across from you. You worry him in more ways than one. Eager to come when he calls, and yet so shy and timid when you get here. It's almost like you're afraid of him- are you? He hopes not. That's not what he wishes this to be.

You sit at the dining table in his home, you don't know why you sat here first. Couch felt too intimate, too real. He didn't oppose, letting you take a seat farthest away from the head of the table. There's a hidden meaning here you wish to bury. But your mind knows it all the same.

You have to face it head on eventually, why not now.

“I’m sorry.” you mumble out, as graceful as a newborn calf. Half the confidence as one. You finally manage to look him in the eye, you want to cry the moment your eyes meet. He sits leaning against the table, afraid of missing a single word from your lips. 

His eye brows furrow, “what for?” soft as ever. 

“I don't know,” you sigh,”for-i guess just-making you deal with me while you have so much going on.”

He frowns, “I wanna show you something,” getting up and motioning for you to follow,

Did he not hear you? What is he up to. 

You follow him through the halls of his house, past doors and hallways till you get to a door at the end of the hall. You look at him, brows raised, puzzled. 

He pushes the door open and you're greeted to a bedroom. Jerseys line the walls, there's a shelf for trophies. And then it dawns on you, this is his room. You've never been here, not yet. A threshold that you haven't let yourself cross. And here you are, here he is, holding the door open for you. It's like he's opening his heart out, carefully carved an incision over his chest where you fit. You blink.

“Come.” is all he says.

So you do, sliping inside and awkwardly standing off in the corner.

He smiles at you, soft, shaking his head. He rests a knee on the edge of his bed, patting the top. So you do, gently sliding on and waiting for his next move. 

He doesn't speak, instead kneeling down and shuffling under his bed. He brings out a shoe box, handing it to you. 

He's giving you a pair of shoes?

You open the box and  find a scattered collection of memories spanning the time you've spent together.

Polaroids if you two, movie tickets, game tickets, little trinkets you hand him on a whim. 

“I was gonna put it in a proper box but I figured you needed to see it today,” he scratches the back of his head, gaze shying away from your own. 

He's scared. You see it in the way his legs bounces next to you on his bed, the way he's chewing his bottom lip, hands balled up in his own comforter. He's scared it's too much, that he'll be giving too much too soon, too much for you and you'll shrink away from him indefinitely. He can't help it, he loves too hard, too soon. Love. he loves you. Do you love him too? He hopes, prays. His right hand picks at his nails, he's picked it til he's bleeding. He pays no mind, he doesn't even notice. Do you love him too? Say something,, anything, he wants to say, yell, scream and shout.

He's Jude Bellingham, and he's afraid of his own love. He's nothing but a boy who years for one the way he yearns for them. He's Jude. And he yearns for you. 

You take a breath in, setting the box down next to you. He panics, eyes going wide and scrambling out of his seat. Oh he's done it again hasn't he. Letting his big stupid dumb heart do the thinking. 

You pull his arm, getting up, and tackling him in a bone crushing hug, sending him back first to his bed,just about knocking the air out of him. 

“I love you,” you mumble, now laying on top of him. And he laughs. He laughs loud and bright. You love him.

“I love you!” he manages to blurt between giggles. 

You smile, but you can't contain your tears. He keeps every memory? In a neat box under his bed? As a reminder of his love? In order to always keep you near? To never forget not even a second?

You didn't know someone could love so much, so hard, so wholly. And here he is. Giving his heart to you. The little incision on his chest now a gash where his hearts been ripped out, handed to you. He trusts you all too much. But you love him. Oh how you love him. If it meant carrying the world you would. 

Oh how sweet jude is. He wipes your tears, gently kissing your forehead. 

“Hey hey, it's okay. I got you.” he mumbles into your neck.

“you know duke, if this is positive you’ll be a big brother right?” you say biting your nails, sitting in the carpet and scratching behind his ears, your words making him tense and bark. “yep. means you’ll have to protect another human, but it means more treats!” you say excited his tail wagging.

“i’m scared… this is scary duke… if i’m pregnant i don’t know how i’ll tell jude,” you frown, feeling duke set his head on your lap looking up at you. you had been feeling the symptoms for a month. constant nausea and headaches, taking naps earlier than usual, duke following you everywhere when he didn’t need to, or getting protective when someone came near you.

you had also missed your period, realizing that when you look at the box of pads/ tampons under the sink. you felt the random wave of emotions, the tiredness and aching back even after having a nice and relax day. all you needed was the test to confirm it. to confirm your worries and feelings.

as you felt anticipated, something inside you also felt panic. carrying a baby for nine months, the labor and delivery, the long road of recovery and now taking care for two. you’ve wanted to be a mom as long as you could remember, but now that reality was hitting, it made you overthink.

overthinking if you’d be enough for you and your baby, also jude and duke. being supportive even during the hard times especially now with jude. any traceable though ran through your head. but despite that, you were ready. you were young, had a stable job, a perfect relationship, and supportive family and friends. it was the perfect time to go from a family of three to four.

duke huffed and followed you to the restroom, waiting by the door as you took a breath of nervousness and tapped your nails against the marble counter. you needed to be sure, so you took three tests to make sure they all had the same result. tears were already beaming in your eyes, before you could even remove the box on top the tests.

with shaky hands and now shivers running along your body, you saw the plus sign and the double lines. you struggled a laugh and broke into tears excitedly. grabbing three of tests and looking at them closely to ensure you weren’t dreaming or your head playing games with you.

“duke! we’re having a baby! a baby inside me now! now wonder you followed me everywhere,” you say sarcastic, leaning down and placing kisses on his head, tail wagging. “i can’t believe it… me and jude are having a baby,” you say breathless looking out into the room and already picturing a crib and small stand where diapers and baby towels would be.

you pictured jude sitting on the bed, reading a story, kissing their cheeks, tucking them to sleep, making them laugh until they squealed or snorted. you brought a hand to your barely bump, rubbing it smoothly and feeling a wave of confidence and excitement run through you.

“let’s go! we need to find a perfect shirt to tell jude!”

you ended up taking duke to a local pet store, picking out a small bandana that mentioned he was going to be a big brother. then going to a crafts store to get a box and some paint, along with some confeti strips to place inside. the last thing to do was find a small real madrid jersey and baby replicas of jude’s iconic red predator boots he wore for his games.

you decide to wait it along to see if jude could fit the pieces together. not drinking coffee or refusing wine when he offered when eating dinner. declining a sushi date and going out to eat at one of your favorite outdoor spots in the city. saying no to going on a hike because you were afraid of falling or getting hurt before you could see the doctor.

jude couldn’t even see right through it. understanding maybe you were busy or tired after being at work. or giving you a small frown when you had to say no. or give you a confused face when you randomly eat your cravings. if there was one thing about jude, is that he is the slowest person, so of course he didn’t see this coming.

“you got not only an assist but goal as well tonight baby,” you say kissing his hand as you waited in the taxi to go home. to say you were nervous was an understatement. you were absolutely mortified to tell jude but you figured today would be the perfect night. after a special night in the bernabeu, you figured why not tell him.

“i’m feeling very much proud and in the mood for some celebration drinks. what do you say hmm? we open a bottle of wine and cuddle? maybe in time for some celebratory sex?” he teased kissing below your ear making you squirm. “jude!” you say refraining yourself, heat building up your cheeks and chest.

“what? i’d love to celebrate with my beautiful girlfriend tonight, and i will because i not only had an assist but winning goal,” jude smirked reciting your words in a teasing and flirty manner, making you hit his chest shyly. “ok keep the act up… you know you want it too,” he said turning away looking forward where the fans yelled his name and cheered.

you leaned up and kissed his cheek, grabbing his face and whispering an “i love you.” jude was in a daze, completely enamored by your beauty. drowning himself into your eyes and bright smile. you had this new thing shining across you, it looked like a fresh glow of something new along you. "i love you y/n." jude places a kiss on your lips, leaving you lingering and out of breath.

"looks like a package come," jude remarks, grabbing the wooden box and shaking it to see what was inside. "from the stork company," you say with a smile. "stork company? i've never heard of that," jude says dumbfounded, grabbing the keys and opening the door. he set the box down by the kitchen island and brought his bag to the laundry room.

jude return to see you propped on the island swinging your feet excitedly. "what are you hiding?" jude says suspiciously, raising his brow and coming over to you. "nothing... are you gonna open it?" you point to the box, hand running down his box. you look at your phone that was hidden and propped nearby, jude eyeing you againg before going to open it.

the familiar butterflies and adrenaline runs along your veins, your hand coming to your bump, as you bite you lip watching jude fiddle with the opening. jude scrunches his face confusedly, taking out the confeti. "duke!" you call out who was already wearing the bib.

jude stops what he’s doing, seeing the infant jersey and tiny football boots. he lets out a laugh, smiling upside down as he takes the baby jersey and holding it out, doing the same with the red predator boots. he glanced around eyes landing on you. “is this what i think it means?” jude says with tears in his eyes.

you giggle and nod quickly, feeling jude trace his hand on your thigh and the other behind your head. “you’re serious? we’re having a baby, y/n?” jude needs the confirmation before he can cheer outloud. a bubble of joystick trickling down his spine as he sees your eyes glimmering. “yes jude… i’m carrying our baby right now,” you look down a hand on your bump jude intaking a breath of air.

jude doesn’t waste any second, kissing you all over your face, tears running down his face emotional, whispering how much he was grateful and thanking you repeatedly making you cry out harder. “i-i-i can’t believe it… we’re having a baby y/n!” jude cheers wipping his face and looking at duke who wagged his tail.

“and you knew about this duke? and you didn’t tell me?” jude leaned down, scratching his ears and reading his small bandana. “no wonder yo wouldn’t let me get near momma. always barking or growling when i wanted to kiss her. not cool man…” he says playfully looking at you still in a daze.

“now you have to protect her from gio and jobe okay? if you do that it means more treats,” jude says teasingly making the german shepherd bark and jump. “oh god,” you chuckle, hand coming to your forehead already picturing the banter and training sessions.

“our family is getting bigger,” jude approaches you and leans down, kneeling and raising his jersey up. jude places delicate kisses in your tummy, making you squirm and hold the back of his head, watching with a huge grin. “my baby in there… i’ll protect you with my life. i love you already, and i can’t wait to meet you,” jude whispered lovingly, hugging your waist.

jude holds your bump, looking into your eyes and feeling your smaller hand interlock with his. “the greatest gift you could ever give me is this, thank you y/n,” jude says wiping a small streak from your cheek with his free hand. “i want to hold our baby now,” jude says along your lips. “patience jude, we have forever to cherish and hold our little one,” you peck his cheek and nose. “love you so much jude,” you kiss his lips slowly, relishing the memory that will forever hold your heart.

as the sun began its descent toward the horizon, it filtered through your blinds, casting luminous shades of princeton orange and sunflower yellow across the room.

you had spent most of your day with your boyfriend, jude, chatting and tidying up your lovely apartment in the heart of madrid.

the evening was warm and comfortable, creating a quiet and cozy ambiance. you lit some candles and settled into the comfort of your couch.

with your feet propped up on the coffee table, you reveled in the comfort of your surroundings as you immersed yourself in the pages of your book, waiting for jude, who was washing the dishes.

so entranced by your book, you didn't notice jude had finished with the dishes until he announced his presence.

"baby, I finished with the dishes," your boyfriend said.

startled by his voice, you quickly closed your book and looked up into his chocolate eyes.

"you scared me, for god's sake!" you exclaimed, laughing nervously.

he chuckled, looking at your startled expression, and took the opportunity to sit down on the couch beside you.

"come here, baby, I'm sorry for scaring you," he said, breaking into a fit of giggles.

"who was supposed to come today?" you wondered internally. you couldn't remember inviting anyone over, and you assumed jude hadn't either.

unbeknownst to you, he had invited his friend and girlfriend over.

"i'll get it, baby. you stay here," jude said calmly.

you nodded, anticipating the visitor at the door.

jude walked over and, upon reaching the door, peeked through the peephole.

"It's rodrygo and his girlfriend," he whisper-yelled. you adored rodrygo and his girlfriend, yet their presence was puzzling.

he opened the door and was greeted by the brazilian couple.

"good evening, jude," said rodrygo and his girlfriend luana. he welcomed them and invited them inside.

"Y/N!" exclaimed luana, upon seeing you on the couch. she adored you, and the feeling was mutual. she was your favorite WAG, and you always spent time with her whenever you both were free.

"luana, it's great to see you, babe! come and sit down with me," you said as she approached, and gave her the biggest hug.

jude and rodrygo entered the room after, observing the two of you chatting.

"hello, y/n," rodrygo said with a smile. you returned his greeting and offered them both something to drink.

luana sat close to rodrygo while jude came over to your side, promptly draping an arm over your shoulder.

he started kissing your neck, seemingly oblivious to the visitors around.

"jude, stop it! there are people here," you exclaimed, laughing nervously. he always had a knack for making you feel nervous in the presence of others. he tends to become cocky in the presence of his friends, which can be frustrating as he sometimes gets too carried away.

"yeah jude, we don't want to see you eating your girlfriend's neck, you simp" rodrygo said, laughing.

you began to feel embarrassed immediately, but jude, on the other hand, didn't care at all because he was entranced by you.

once he got out of trance, he noticed your flushed face, and began to laugh.

This is about a dream that I had and you voted for Jude. Jude Bellingham Word Count: 687 "I am so tired" you let out a loud over exaggerated yawn as Jude spins around on his gaming chair as he watched you. "How are you so tired? you literally only got up an hour ago." Jude looked at you with a slight hint of concern in his voice.

"I don't know, maybe I didn't sleep well. I have been feeling like this for a while now. I just can't seem to shift it at all and I don't get why" you sighed as you laid your head on the side as he walked over to you. "Oh really, you should have told me. Maybe we need to see the doctor?" Jude suggested. "What, no J. I am absolutely fine, I don't need to go anywhere. Maybe I am just coming down with something" you quickly dismissed the doctors suggestion. "Why not babe? You need to know what is going on, you're like a zombie these days and I am a bit worried about you if I am honest" Jude muttered as he sat down on the sofa beside you. "But what if it is bad? I am just scared, I don't feel myself and I can't seem to shake it off. Okay shall I speak to the doctor?" you asked as you stood up, feeling off balance as Jude caught you. "Maybe we should go and see the doctor now, is there something you're not telling me?" Jude asked again. "What would I be hiding from you? I'm fine" you mumbled, wanting this conversation to be over with. "Well we both know that you aren't, so`I want to ask you something?" Jude turned and faced you as you simply nodded. "Yes?" you glanced up and saw him nervously bit his lip as he was hesitant to ask you the question. "Is there a chance that you could be pregnant?" he asked bluntly as you opened your mouth to reply, but something triggered in your brain. "Oh fuck- how did you know?" you clasped your hands over your mouth as you felt a small tear escape down your face. "I just guessed and well I looked at the symptoms online. Shall we go and get you some tests or to the doctor?" Jude asked as he moved across as he wiped your eyes gently. "Get a test I suppose, how could I have been so stupid" you put your head in your hands as Jude kneels down in front of you. "Hey, none of that please baby. You weren't stupid or are stupid. Come here, we can do this together" Jude cuddled you tightly as he helped you up off from the chair as you headed to the car. The drive was only a quick drive, but it felt like it was taking forever to get inside and grab a test. "You okay going in?" He asked as you grabbed your phone and purse as you ran into the local pharmacy. "Got one, shit who knew there were so many types of tests in one place. My mind was all over the place picking one, so I just picked two because well guess they are better than none" you laughed as you both drove home. Once you got home, you made sure you ripped the test box open as you took the test. "3 minutes" you whispered as you placed the test on the counter as Jude slowly opened the door as he crept in behind you. "This feels like the longest time ever" he laughed as you examined the test in front of you. "Shit" you whispered as you watched as the digital test flashed right in front of you. "Oh my god" you pointed as you saw the test result changed as it said 'Pregnant 2-3 weeks' you gasped loudly as Jude watched the test as if the result was going to change. "Wow, we are having a baby" Jude whispered as he pulled his hand into your hand. "We are, I can't believe it. Baby Bellingham is in there" you mumbled as he placed his hand on your stomach. "Baby Bellingham" he grinned.

summary : in which jude and his spanish tutor start developing feelings for each other

sorry for the poorly translated spanish.. (also lost the request for this, sorry!)

you didn't think much of it when you started tutoring spanish. it was simply a side job while you were studying at university. you surely did not think that it would lead you here, at jude bellingham's flat teaching him spanish. but you were and you absolutely loved it. in the last few weeks you had been tutoring jude, you had learned so much about the boy and he was now one of your good friends, you would say. the tutoring classes were on tuesday and friday but as time passed, you started teaching him on monday and sunday and sometimes friday. anything to spend more time with him.

he was more than a famous guy to your eyes. he was the one that could make you laugh the hardest, the one you wanted to spend everyday with. it started to be harder to teach him, you were more focused on his eyes on you, his smile, his body close to you and on how fucking hot he was. any girl would be unable to concentrate next to a man like him. you were scared though. he was famous, handsome, rich, a catch really. and you were just the spanish teacher he saw a few times a week. no way he could ever see you as more than that, right?

you were on edge in the taxi to his home, the boy had offered to pick you up but you were way too nervous for that. you didn't know why, usually you could hide your feelings easily but lately they were just too much for you. when you got to his flat, he was already waiting at the door, the too familiar smile already on his face. he greeted you with a tight hug and you had to admit you enjoyed it a bit too much. you took off your shoes before heading to his living room.

"there's a match right now, you wanna watch it before we start?"

"yeah of course"

he settled on the couch and patted the spot next to him, way too close to him. you decided that for your own good it would be better to sit on the opposite side. jude looked at you with a weird expression

"why you seating so far away? come closer"

you debated in your head for a split second before sitting next to him, how could you refuse him when he looked at you with those damn eyes? jude put his arm around your shoulders tucking you closer to his side. you instantly got comfortable, putting your head in the space between his neck and shoulders.

you both watched the match in silence, the only interactions between the two of you being his hand softly caressing your side and your eyes occasionally looking up only to find his already looking at you. those were the kind of moments that gave you hope. where the connection you felt with jude was so strong, it blew you away. by the end of the game, you were fully relaxed onto his side, your eyes fighting to stay open.

‘’you're tired?’’ jude asked

‘’no, we can start the lesson now’’ you mumbled, fatigue overtaking you

‘’dont lie, it's okay if you're tired. you can take a nap’’ he responded, chuckling at your tired state

‘’no jude! i came to teach you and thats what im gonna do’’

the boy was adamant though, he would not let you teach him until you took a nap. that's how you ended up in his bed with your head on his chest and his hand rubbing up and down your back. laying down with jude, head buried in his hoodie with tons of blanket surrounding you felt like heaven and you fell asleep with a smile on your face

when you woke up, the footballer wasn't in the bed anymore. you got up and found him sitting down on the couch. you approached him but barely had time to take a peek over his shoulder before the boy jumped and hid the notebook he was writing in.

‘’what was that jude?’’ you asked curiously

‘’nothing, just huhhh…practicing spanish’’ he said looking rather nervous

seeing his expression and the time he took to answer your question, you doubted the honesty of his answer but still didn't want to press it. you took out your notebooks from your bag before giving one to jude

‘’okay, so today you just have to choose a topic from the notebook and then hold a conversation with me about the subject’’

‘’ok waittt’’

the boy looked at the notebook for five minutes before closing it, looking at you and reopening it once again. he did this for a good ten minutes before you got tired of his antics

‘’jude will you please choose one?’’ you said with exasperation

‘’i am choosing just wait’’

‘’you choose one now or i'll do it myself’’ you responded with an authoritative tone

‘’ok sorry ma'am’’

‘’don't even try giving me attitude’’

the footballer laughed in your face before choosing to have a conversation about new year's resolutions.

‘’all of that time wasted for that, really…’’ you mumbled

‘’huh what did you say?’’ jude responded, daring you to repeat the sentence

‘’ i said all of that time wasted for that’’

‘’i choose a really good appropriate theme, i don't know why you're complaining’’

‘’ok fine, go on and tell me all about your new year's resolutions jude’’

the boy hesitated for a long time before admitting that he couldn't do it. you were kind of bummed at the lack of progress from the man but, not wanting to discourage him, you simply told him to be able to do it next time you came over. both of you were reluctant at the idea of cutting your time together short so jude proposed that you stayed for dinner. the man and yourself cooked a quick pasta and poured yourselves a glass of wine before going to sit on his patio.

the sun had just started setting when you both sat down, admiring the sky. the meal passed by quickly as you shared stories about your lives. jude had been talking about football, in the way that always made you fold, with such passion and joy and you wished for this moment to last forever. you and him on his patio, looking at the sky and talking about life.

when you got back home later in the evening, you allowed yourself, for once, to dream of a life with jude. you allowed yourself to believe that he felt like you did. you allowed him to get your hopes up and you now only wished for him to not break your heart, something you feared since he made your heart jump for the first time.

you didn't feel nervous when you returned to his house a few days later. you greeted the man and started your lessons quickly. he seemed to have made progress and you were surprised when he brought up the new year's resolutions first.

"im ready for the convo now i swear"

"well go for it jude, tell me all about it"

"ok so.. mi primer propósito de año nuevo es mejorar en español." the man managed to say without stuttering once "my first new year's resolution is to improve my spanish"

"you're definitely getting better already, cual es tu siguiente? " what's your second one? "

"mi segundo propósito de año nuevo es ganar otro trofeo con el real madrid." "my second new year's resolution is to win another trophy with real madrid"

"estoy segura de que vas a lograr eso " you said smiling "im sure you'll achieve that one"

jude seemed to have understood you and smiled proudly

"¿cual es tu ultimo?" "what's your last one?"

he looked at you with apprehension, as if his next resolution was a secret he was about to reveal to the world.

"mi última resolución es poder estar con esta chica que parece que no puedo sacar de mi mente." "my last resolution is to be able to get with this girl that i can't seem to get out of my mind"

your heart broke as soon as he said that. all hope you had left came crashing down but you would let him see that. you smiled and pretended to be curious about it, happy about it.

" ¿Quien es la chica? " "who's the girl?"

"this georgous and amazing girl. the only reason im as happy as i am in madrid. i can't ever stop thinking about her you know"

"that's nice" you said faking a smile

your answer seemed to have upset jude, who frowned before continuing.

"¿qué pasaría si dijera que tú eres la chica? ¿qué pasaría si te dijera que eres a ti a quien he estado esperando todo este tiempo? ¿qué dirías?" "what if I said you were the girl? What if I told you that it's you I've been waiting for all this time? What would you say?"

"what?" you didn't find any other words to utter out, absolutely stunned at the boy's confession

"¿qué dirías si te pidiera que fueras mi novia ahora mismo?" "what would you say if i asked you to be my girlfriend right now?"

you smiled sweetly, your cheeks burning and your heart racing.

"diría que ser tu novia me haría la chica más feliz del mundo, jude" "i would say that being your girlfriend would make me the happiest girl in the world, jude"

the romantic moment was cut short when freezed for a few seconds, not responding to your previous sentence. you were about to take it back when he responded in a hurry

"what? what did u say? im really sorry i wanted to be romantic and shit but im trash at spanish babe, i learned a few sentences by heart that's all"

you burst laughing at the man's confused and embarrassed expression before repeating yourself, this time in english

"i said that being your girlfriend would make me the happiest girl in the world."

"really?"

"thought that was pretty obvious, to be honest"

"eh just a little bit" jude responded making you realize that your little, well not so little, crush on him had been as clear as day.

you didn't mind though as you watched him grab your side to scoot you closer to him. he sat you on his lap before looking into your eyes with a lovestruck expression.

"wait so that thing you were writing in your notebook, it was your confession" you asked

"fuck, how did u know" he groaned

"im just smart like that you know"

he smiled and sneaked his hand under your hoodie, stroking the skin of your back.

"so you're my girlfriend now"

"and you're my boyfriend now"

"can finally do this then." he breathed out before leaning towards you

he kissed you like there was no tomorrow, like he had been waiting for this since forever. there was no space between your bodies and all you could think about was his hands around your waist, inching closer to your ass every second that passed, and his lips on yours. you passed your hands through his hair, then on his neck before leaving them resting on his chest. you separated yourself from jude to take a breath and looked at his face, an almost fucked out look all over it.

"ive been waiting for so long you know" you said

"nah love ive been waiting longer definitely"

"this isn't a competition jude but i know im right"

he was quick to answer, trying desperately to prove his point, and just like this the two of you were back to the usual bickering. it wasn't that usual though because this time there was more than hope in your heart. it was only filled with all the love you had for the boy in front of you and all the love he had showed you today.
