'' Unceremoniously, the Predator began stripping off his pitted body armor, some of it still smoking from the Alien’s corrosive blood. As each heavy piece clanked to the ground, more of Scar’s strange, reptilian anatomy was revealed.
“Whoa, slow down, tiger,” said Lex.
Of course she didn’t expect Scar to get the joke. Like most of the males she’d known, Scar had a mind of his own, and a temper, too. He was definitely the strong, silent type. ''
Another of my favorites parts in Alien vs Predator novel by Marc Cerasini. Reading Lex just flirting in a suggestive way with Scar was so hilarious and made me love more this amazing ship.
I’ve said this before and I’m saying it again, I cannot believe how much they put into the last twenty minutes of Alien vs Predator regarding Scar and Lex’s relationship. Like… the simple fact that a human and a Yautja are working together. The fact that, although Predators have hunted humans before, in Scar’s eyes, Lex is a full-blooded hunter. Just like him. She is his equal. They are a team. And even though he knows that humans don’t have the same rites attached to killing a xenomorph, he still gives her the mark that tells the rest of his people that she, too, is a Hunter. I am so unwell about them.
I just re-read Alien vs Predator comic and i just wonder why the writers always kill the Yautja (the same in the movie). They just wasting the better ships of the franchise.
