The Prediction

It was a cold night, the moon being covered in a blanket of dark grey clouds. I was simply searching around the house in the dark to make sure all my lights were off. I was struggling to see clearly in the dark, slowly getting my eyes adjusted to such darkness. But soon, I got this strange feeling in me, as if another prediction on the future, that something was in my house, waiting to kill me. Then, I heard my floor board creaking, but then, I heard nothing, not even the chirping of the crickets, nor the hoots of the owls. Just pure silence, only my breathing broke that silence, but it was not enough, simply making the spine of mines get chills, slowly going down. But I quickly thought that it was just my mind, but then I thought of the society stereotypes. Oh, how I hated these for I believed in some of them. Then I thought I was just tired, but as I barely started walking, I was suddenly grabbed by some hairy legs, and I started to struggle to the escape, but as I saw my captor, it was a huge Tarantula or Brown Recluse. But soon I couldn't see a thing, but I felt a really sharp pain, I screamed in a painful agony, just shrieking my lungs out. But before I knew it, I woke up in my bed, my forehead and cheeks covered in cold sweat. I was shocked, I couldn't believe such a nightmare could look so real. I wasn't able to sleep in a peaceful serenity ever again.
