We are thrilled to announce that Frozen Over is back for its fourth year!!! Time to dig out your toques, earmuffs, scarves and mittens to prepare for another chilly Canadian winter full of snowy weather and holiday fun!

Frozen Over is a prompt fest (not an exchange) for Schitt’s Creek fanworks inspired by that time of year when the creek is frozen over. All types of AO3-supported fanworks are welcome!

Important Dates: (all times Eastern) Prompts Submitted: September 12-26 at noon Claiming Prompts: September 26 - November 27 (please note that any claims made prior to noon on Sept 26 will be removed to give everyone a fair shot!) Seven Sentence Sunday

“New rule,” Patrick announced on their eleventh turn, “You have to tell a truth that you’ve never told another living soul.”

“Does it count if you’ve told it to a non-living soul?”

“Uh David, do you see dead people?” Patrick teased. “Because you could have saved that truth for the game.”

David pretended to laugh before transitioning quickly to what he thought was a withering glare, but Patrick was still smiling, so maybe not. “Throw your stupid rock already.”

Patrick obliged, and the rock took a wicked hop off the sand, rolling toward the outside edge of the larger circle.

David’s throw was closer, obviously, because he wasn’t a complete chump, and he crossed his arms to await what utterly stimulating truth Patrick had never told anyone else, ever.

Patrick trotted up to the target to retrieve his stone then made his way back to David’s side.

A long moment passed before Patrick finally spoke. “I’m gay.”

She may be intentional about certain things—the cons she runs, the heists she pulls off—but falling in love had never been part of the plan.

Then again, she isn't the greatest con woman in the world for nothing, even if no one else feels like acknowledging that she is. Maybe the biggest job she ever succeeded at was convincing herself that she was never going to fall in love—and then she went ahead and did it twice.

I think I’ve done this before, but I’ll do it again anyway and it was really hard to come up with five fics. I know this was a SC fandom tag, but I’m giving you fics from each fandom anyway. In no particular order: Letters to my lover, a neighbours AU featuring some fun banter when David is annoyed at his new upstairs neighbour who plays his piano too loudly, with gallerist!David and a piano playing Patrick. I really enjoyed writing this one! Feeling kind of sketchy, where Patrick meets a very handsome stranger in the park who’s drawn him and somehow seen him without ever knowing him. This is one where I saw a prompt and it grabbed me and wouldn’t let go until this fic was finished. Featuring artist!David, some Patrick introspection and there’s a part two that’s from David’s pov as well

to the victor, the spoils, aka the lawyer AU where Alex & Henry are both lawyers and, as per the summary, there is rivalry and irresistible attraction, with a smattering of legal work on the side. Featuring questionable offers of compromise, tie-related disasters and very effective methods of negotiation

yours for the afternoon, a snowy coffee shop meet cute, fake dating one shot and one of the few (only?) T-rated RWRB fics in my arsenal. I just think this one is cute and fun and ends with a really great kiss.

every breath you take, my first Tarlos fic and one that came into existence mostly by accident! This one has the brief return of firefighter TK after Carlos gets hurt, Nancy and Andrea Reyes, and some soft, smutty husband content.
