It was natural, she supposed, for siblings to fight.

Perhaps somewhat less so for them to fight with weapons aimed at one another, but it had become relatively normal to find the two Schnee daughters in the manor's courtyard with a sword each. These days were soon to become few and far between, what with Winter leaving to start another year of schooling, but she would spend the few she had remaining with her sister.

The training had been simpler, at one point. She'd assumed it was just wishing to imitate her big sister, but somewhere along the way, Weiss had begun to fill her head with thoughts of becoming a huntress, changing the family legacy. Winter supposed it was her duty, then, to prepare her for what the academies would put her through.

There was no hesitation, no pulling back as Winter met each of Weiss' own strikes. Being soft on her wouldn't help her to grow her skills. If Weiss doesn't wish to be treated like a child, then Winter would spar with her as if she were another student.

The difference in their levels showed quickly, and soon Winter had thrown Weiss to the cold pavement below, her sword poised as if to pierce down upon her -- but the angle was all wrong, and would have missed her entirely. She wouldn't go easy on Weiss, but she also wouldn't risk hurting her too dearly.

"...You still have a long way to go." The sword is returned to Winter's hip, and a hand offered down. "Father won't let you go until you prove yourself."

Let’s Play “Would You Ship This?” // Accepting!

Weiss/Neptune: I definitely think this could be pretty cute! Their interactions were fun, and I could definitely see more developing! I love the idea of a simple crush going a lot deeper as they both figure out how to trust someone not on their team, especially for Neptune to let his guard down and to let Weiss see him NOT being “cool.”  Cause it takes a while to get past that exterior, I think. ^^  I like it, and I think there’s a lot of potential!

Weiss/Jaune: Honestly, I definitely enjoy WhiteKnight. Jaune clearly had a crush on Weiss early on, and while he eventually learned to actually respect the fact that she wasn’t interested, it could be really interesting to see what would happen later on, when they’re both more mature! I definitely think that Jaune had to grow up a bit before he could actually be a good partner for Weiss, but I think they would be able to support each other and talk about what has happened in their lives. He is no stranger to strong women, and he would absolutely encourage and support her in pursuing her hopes and dreams. 

Weiss/Mercury: I will be honest: I hadn’t actually really considered/heard much about this ship previously, but I can definitely get the appeal! I’m a sucker for a good redemption story, so seeing Mercury change and grow and the two of them able to talk about their similarities could be really interesting!

​((I only ever used spotify for podcasts when Last Podcast on the Left went exclusive there for a bit. Google podcasts does just fine.
