I had a dream i had one last final test for school and life stuff to take and I forgot to study for it bwcause it took us a while to get to the place where I could do it

Before I got there moon suggested I wait for them on the bridge we have here and tbimas sanders pulls up and I go "AH HELLO" and then a lot of ppl pull up behind him and it's just a pride event walk

I walk past and under/next to the bridge and meet moon and I go DUDE I SAW VINE DUDE THOMAS SANDERS and they go YEA Ik

And I'm like OK let's get this test done where do I go

And suddenly I have a big bag of plushies and we go on the bridge again and there's this one building nearby that's a restaurant irl but in the dream it was a government building

I sit down in the waiting room and I show off the plushies

I was gonna give away some but keep a few that were good but most were weird and misshapen and had mismatched parts and moon and I laughed at it

Then a lady comes to me and is like ah you already have your test paper so just give it to me and come forward so you can do it

And I'm like ah OK lemme find it. Then I look at moon. "MOON I STUDIED 2 WEEKS AGO HELP ME MOON"

ans I go do the test ans suddenly it's.. Pixel art. Top view. There's a chair. Sans undertale is on it. I talk to him ans he jokes

THEN MY YEST BEGINS?? AND ITS?? A WEIRD LIKE POLER CHIP GAME

I HAD TO ROLL DICE BUT NOT RLLY I ALWAYS HAD A SELECTION OF 4 PRE-DONE ROLLS AND I PICKED ONE

AND IF I PICKDD MORE THAN THE NPC IN FRONT OF ME (not even sans??) I GOT TO TAKE THEIR CHIPS

AND THE POINT WAS TO "BET" A BIT MORE EACH TIME

AND IN THE MIDDLE WAS BASICALLY A HANGMAN BINGO THING FOR THE ANSWERS

SO YOU HAD TO WIN THIS GAME TO GET UR ANSWERS

AND IM HERE. I DIDNT HAVE TO STUDY OR PANIC THESE BITCHED PULLED UP GAMBLING 😭😭😭

And in between all this in the waiting room there's like a drag show thing but what became pupular is getting a big weird wide mouth short legs, looking like a kid and being like.. Shrunk and alieny. So kids would alter themselves to look this way and it was ridiculous and like every 6 minutes or so the dream stopped to show 2 more contestants and we'd go "OOOKAY THIS IS GETTING RIDICULOUS THIS KID GOTTA BE LIKE 4"

And then I'm in my room with my brother and mom and I'm speaking on czech and I ask if they know where Thomas Saggs is but I say it like "Thomas sex" because of Accent..?

My brother laughs and I hope to go find Thomas to redo my test but I WOKE UP

And at an unknown point I was playing toontown and they added a new cog type. This one had randomized "genetics".

It was an anthro furry cog who's skelecog you could see in their body for some reason like their shell was translucent

But their head was always solid? And they came in lightly different colors, mostly shades of brown and like.. Cream.

But their eyes had different colors too and I was looking at a petz eye color chart and I was like THESE GUYS USE IT...!

At some point we had a new cogs only member too and it was a roleplay acc for someone's the sims oc and it was a guy using a mod that makes ur Sim a... "werewolf Jerma"...?

under read more bc i was not capable of keeping my answers brief this time around

why did you choose your url?

this...was supposed to be a short explanation but it turned into quite a tale so strap in i guess because we are going on a ride. back in 2017 i was just getting into musical theatre rp and i was still feeling too shy to really talk to anyone ooc so i would just wait for people i wanted to interact with to post starter calls so i could just do things in character with them the easy way. So i did this with my friend cam, who posted a starter for me using a lyric from If I Could Tell Her. she linked the song so i could listen to it, so i did and i went ‘wait a minute, is that Ben Platt from Pitch Perfect?? (and other things too, but i only recognized his voice at the time bc of the acappella girl movies)’ and yes it certainly was.

i had zero idea what the plot of Dear Evan Hansen was about at that point, and for some reason based off Just That One Song and the poster art of who i assumed was Some Guy in a Polo Shirt i started to think it was about some jock guy who broke his arm and had an emo/goth friend who had either died or gone missing under mysterious circumstances. also i intuited that Evan had a crush on his friend’s sister but he couldn’t tell her that directly or his emo friend would kick his ass. so i was like mostly wrong, but a little bit right.

oh and i knew jared and alana were characters from the show bc cam said that they were i think?? but i had no idea what their role was. so after listening to if i could tell her, i listened to good for you and all i really got out of that was that evan the apparently not-jock guy had done...something... that really hurt jared and alana. and at that point i finally decided to go look up a plot synopsis and i found out i was waaay off base. but honestly this is why cast recordings should include scene dialogue in the songs bc otherwise you just get soundtracks like dear evan hansen where the songs have like. zero context. we really just go from waving through a window to for forever to sincerely me without like. any reason as to what is happening huh. It’s honestly not a surprise anymore that all those people on twitter had no idea the plot isn’t about gay teenagers.

anyways. cam was writing jared and she made a post at one point about wishing somebody would write alana and i was like ‘oh i could do that!’ (after i had actually Seen a bootleg and finally knew what the whole story was, of course) so i made a multimuse rp blog featuring alana beck, nabulungi hatimbi, chloe valentine and some other characters, and cam started sharing her headcanons with me that alana is trans, jared and alana were close friends when they were little kids but they sort of drifted apart as they got older and their priorities in life changed, jared was the first person alana came out to when she realized she’s trans, etc.

one night i started talking about wanting to pick a more theatre-relevant url for my blog and trans-[character name] urls were getting pretty popular, and at least 3 of the friends i made through rp had changed theirs to coordinating trans-[character name] and i think it was cam suggested i should make mine be trans-alana so i did. eventually i realized the unhyphenated version was available so i changed it to transalana with no hyphen and i have lived here ever since. sometimes i think about changing it but i feel like transalana has become a part of My Brand and i am not so great with coming up with cool names for things.

any side blogs? if you have them, name them and why you have them

in theory, i have sideblogs... i don’t really use them, but of the ones i do have, there is:

emsbookblog - this was supposed to be where i would post excerpts of the book that i’m working on, but i think i did that maybe one time roughly 2 years ago and then promptly forgot about it/got nervous about my writing and was scared to share anything else. the rest of the stuff that is there is assorted writing tips. i don’t really know what to do with it now. i probably should post all my little thoughts about em and anita and caleb there instead of infodumping on my main from time to time, but if i do that then i have to promo a sideblog and direct people over to it which is always annoying to me when i could just do it on this blog which is much easier

dearnovelhansen - this is basically no longer used, but was a sideblog i made specifically to talk/complain about the novel adaptation of Dear Evan Hansen which was about 3 years ago?? maybe? i can’t be trusted to understand the passage of time. but to summarize: i thought it was an honor just to have the story be made more accessible since many of us couldn’t see the stage performance, but i hated a lot of the creative liberties that were taken. my main grumbles are that everyone who isn’t evan or connor is done so dirty in the novel. connor’s still kind of done dirty in the book, but not as much as like. heidi, alana, jared, and zoe are.

horseisle3 - this one was meant to be a place where i could just enthusiastically post screenshots from hi3, but instead it turned into a blog where i occasionally reblog other players’ hi3 content and bitch about how bad the game admins are bc hi3 is the tumblr famous (infamous?) homophobic horse game. the game where it was once okay to call your club store the gulag bc according to their head of hr, ‘it’s just a russian word for prison’ but you can’t say ‘im gay’ without somebody accusing you of corrupting young children who play the game. unfortunately there aren’t very many good interactive horse games out there, so this one is still about as good as it gets. it’s either that or star stable and i don’t care about star stable.

mlaenie - i’ve had this url saved for i don’t even know how long. way way way back in the day when i wanted to escape from the clutches of the onceler fandom i abandoned my first blog where i basically had an alter ego i guess?? and i decided to just be myself on the new blog. i don’t fully remember who came up with it, but one of my sister’s mutuals suggested that if you scrambled the letters in your name you could come up with aesthetic-looking urls. so lauren’s url became lrauen, and to match with her mine became mlaenie, which i abandoned on tumblr after about a year or so? but have continued to use as my main username on twitter, reddit, youtube, xbox, steam, and discord. i barely ever use any of these accounts aside from twitter, steam, and xbox, but yeah. so i’ve decided to try and turn this empty sideblog into a place for video game thoughts maybe. we’ll see how long it lasts this time around.

how long have you been on tumblr?

i made my first tumblr account in december of 2010, but i didn’t understand how to use it at all or how to customize my theme to look cool and unique so i quickly abandoned it. i made a new account in september of 2011 after some kids at school and my sister told me i should and i have been trapped here with varying degrees of activity/inactivity ever since. i have witnessed the rise and fall of the lorax/onceler fandom, hyperfocused on lord of the rings, star wars and back to the future all at the same time, and for the past 4 years i’ve mostly been a musical theatre blog with assorted other fandom stuff mixed in. i feel i have seen everything and nothing, but mostly i’m just tired and bored.

do you have a queue tag?

no bc i don’t use a queue. i’ve tried using it in the past but i irrationally feel pressured to sustain a coherent theme to queued posts and my brain simply does not vibe with that so i just don’t use it at all anymore. Instead i instantly reblog or post several unrelated thoughts in succession and then don’t post again at all for 3 days. the way god intended

why did you start your blog in the first place?

my very first blog was intended to be a place for me to post all of my petz 5 animals’ profile info, but i didn’t have any understanding of how coding worked at all and i don’t think i really wanted to learn, either. so it just sat there, unused. my second attempt at blogging was as a classic rock fandom person, so as you can probably imagine i was pretty pretentious about ‘modern pop’ vs the beatles, the rolling stones, the who, the monkees, and so on. and then i slowly devolved into a lorax fandom blog and everything went to shit so i made a new blog for lord of the rings/the hobbit which later evolved to include star wars and back to the future blogging. and then for the past 4 years i’ve been mainly a musical theatre blog with other random stuff i like thrown haphazardly into the pot. wonderful.

why did you choose your icon/pfp?

because my url is transalana and two of my most prominent lgbt headcanons are that alana beck is trans and a lesbian. i gotta be shouting out @kinqmike though bc she’s the one i adopted the trans alana beck headcanon from in the first place!

why did you choose your header?

in 2017 i was hyperfixating on Dear Evan Hansen (and Be More Chill, but there weren’t many gif-able videos then considering it ran for a month in New Jersey in 2015 and there was only one yet-to-resurface 35 minute bootleg) so i just grabbed a random gif off of google. i really should get to replacing it with a new header of my own though. i just don’t know what i should do for it.

what’s your post with the most notes?

i have lost track of how many notes it has (i think it’s somewhere around 200 now?) but when Will Roland and George Salazar performed Two Player Game on Good Morning America, i posted a screencap of their Jeremy and Michael along with that one quiz answer meme that says stuff like ‘i want to see it grow up healthy’. i didn’t tag it with any ship names or anything because i was anxious about having it show up in the tags, but somebody who reblogged it from me did tag it as boyf riends and i firmly believe it took off because of that. i don’t think i make posts that are relevant enough to amass thousands of notes, even by accident. which is probably a good thing bc if i did i would have to block so many of them.

on this blog? 175 according to the counter. how many of those are still real people and how many are bots and abandoned accounts? i have no idea.

how many people do you follow?

i try to keep it somewhere around 200. i think i’m sitting at 180 right now but i kind of need to go through and clear out the really inactive blogs.

let’s think about this for a second. i’ve been on tumblr for nearly 10 years. you might even be able to say i’ve made more than one. they’re just not what you would call...popular shitposts.

how do you feel about ‘you need to reblog this’ post?

that stuff makes me so incredibly anxious that i have to fight the urge to want to yeet my laptop or mobile device through the closest window whenever i read it, so i try very hard to avoid any sort of ‘if you don’t reblog this, i’m judging you’ posts. i find them very manipulative and not particularly helpful

do you like tag games?

yeah babey!! i just frequently forget to do them, but please know that if you have ever tagged me in a tag game i felt incredibly touched by the gesture and the @mention even if i completely forgot to do the thing afterward

i do! but also rip to literally anyone who has ever sent me an ask meme bc it takes me so long to answer them. i’m still working on a micro fic prompt from a few weeks ago. also, horrified to realized that it has in fact been a few weeks and not 3 days anymore.

do you have a crush on a mutual?

in any sort of romantic connotation? no. not that i’m aware of. there are mutuals that i have friend crushes on where i want to be friends with them but i get so anxious when it comes to meeting new people that usually nothing ever comes of it. i’m really not good at small talk or other casual conversation either which, as you may or may not be able to imagine, sucks. i just wanna skip over all of the awkward introductions and ‘hey how are you, how is life, what are you doing with yourself?’ stuff. not because i don’t care about it. i do, but i think most of my friends/the people i want to be my friends are also depressed and anxious so asking these basic questions about life tends to uh. make us all nervous. and i don’t do much with my life so i always have the most boring answers anyways.

Yugioh S3 Ep 18: Noah’s Dad Decides he Doesn’t Love His Son Anymore When Noah Gets Way Too Into Petz Hexing

I was hanging out with Bro and he made me look at a lot of bad Yugi wigs that were 600 dollars each, and because only like...4 good Yugi wigs exist in the world, I decided to help him get out that Yugi itch in a healthier way, by copy editing these posts and fixing the way I spell Gozaburo wrong about 400 more times before this arc ends.

So last we left off, Noah decided to reference that one part of the Bible he knows.

He’s gonna change the playing field to kind of run through the history of the Earth, showing us that in every period of history his outfit was never acceptable.

Also he got the history a...little bit wrong. You had to have people before Noah’s ark but...whatever. I took astrology, there’s a lot about planet formation we’re still kind of guessing on, so do whatever you feel like, Yugioh. It’s not like any kids watching this got real pissy about how Noah was totally botching the Archean period.

He also decides to dump on us how he got so smart. See, Kaiba got smart by studying a lot, surrounding himself with people way dumber than him, and then just bossing everyone around him until they agreed with him that he was very smart. In Noah’s case, it’s because he’s literally a computer.

I’m really glad I get to find another anime that’s all ham about this tree. In this case just slapping it on there for a few seconds, long enough for me to say “WHAT THE HELL, KIDS SHOW?” before it vanishes again.

Good on you, Noah. You just...casually slipped that in there.

Ah, but unfortunately, the AI who is like...not even human and is *pretty sure* He’s Noah Kaiba is still kind of attached to his Dad. Maybe it was a part of his core code that he couldn’t reject his Father? I dunno, just seems weird that he achieved enlightenment and was like “So uh...I guess I’ll play cards and take over a mindless corporation. Good use of my time.”

Kaiba’s reaction to hearing that his brother stores all of human knowledge was “well, it can’t possibly be that difficult. I’ve done way more than that. I have a homeschool degree and half a high school diploma so go to Hell, bro.”

Yo how many people would sit down, turn to their computer, and just start shouting at their core processor about how they’re waaaay smarter than it? Remember that during this entire conversation, Kaiba is shouting at a literal computer.

So anyway, we finally get to see why they bothered showing us spider room a few episodes back. Youknow, that room with the baby in it? Turns out...there was never a baby in this room, since Noah was a kid when he first woke up here.

Before it was covered in spiders, it was covered in blue and off white. This is a very boring Martha Stewart room in different shades of robin eggshell. You can tell this kid is a Kaiba because oh boy that is a...really boring 50 yo housewife look, ain’t it?

I’m sure it’s symbolic for the fact he is hella dead and innocent at this point but like...every time we see Kaiba interior design it’s just the last type of design you expect from this high octane family.

Anyway, Noah’s kind of surprised to be awake because, last he remembers, he was very much hit by a car.

Ya, I mean, if you have to tell your son you Frankenstiened him into a horrible crime against humanity, might as well tell him as quickly and bluntly as possible, I guess.

Anyway, because Noah existing breaks the most basic moral human laws in every country on Earth, they kinda can’t let him go anywhere, which means that to prevent the loneliness, Kaiba gives him...a pet?

So Noah and the dogcat decide to travel through Domino and realized very quickly that there were only like...five NPC’s. There’s like an ice cream girl, and like a couple walking people, and that’s about it.

Noah’s words were something like “man this place is full of glitches!” because his dogcat wouldn’t stop barking and he threw a rock at it and it didn’t care. Glitches.

I guess it’s one way to look at it?

It feels like Noah got somewhat cursed like Pharaoh did, just a little bit. Like not completely it’s just that I can’t help but notice both are trapped in some sort of basic geometry shape--Pharaoh’s is a pyramid and Noah’s is an orb, and both have untold superpowers matched with some heavy depression that goes with having said superpowers. Not to mention, both have a host body all set up for possession, it’s just Kaiba is a little bit youknow...unwilling to participate. They’re very different obviously it’s just...way to trap your characters in shapes.

Anyway, last episode I felt like maybe Noah liked being an orb, this episode he’s made it a little more clear that it is kind of not great being an orb...but only because he can’t throw any rocks at dogs or have real conversations with anyone but his own Dad.

Anyway, Noah got a little bored. So his Dad sent him to virtual Mars.

And now Noah only finds joy in hacking his digital pet. Relatable.

Now I know a good chunk of you are my age--that good Jenna Marbles age--and will know exactly what I am referring to, as for the rest of you, turning your digital pet into a hell creation was just a thing we all did in year 2000ish. All of us did this.

And I was like “I bet you, that someone out there has made a robot Hex, I guarantee” because I spent...I want to say 2 years of my life downloading modded breedz of Catz 4? I even tried to do it myself but I wasn’t any good at it because I was super young and bad at computers, I never actually got Robbie William’s Millennium as a Catz meow (though trust me, I did try. It was my life’s dream when I was small.)

But the closest I found to a Robot Petz was this?

Dang. Look at that thing. This one is actually pretty good because it does resemble an animal. I admire it a lot. Trust me, I spent like days moving my bunniez feet around trying to make a dragon and just ended up downloading someone else's dragon.

And then, from the same page I saw this gem right above it.

HELL YES........

....I freakin love this period of the internet so freakin much. I was only ever really a part of a couple of fandoms as a child and the Petz fandom will forever hold a little part of my heart. I mean, look at this. What’s not to love?

Like, Catz is probably number 3 on my list of best games ever made. Not so much because the game was any good, but because none of the files were protected in any way so even kids like me could hack in there and make the weirdest abominations and post them all to their Angelfire pages.

Well, other kids could, I was so baby that I was still using my Mom’s email address and did not know how to put a damn thing on my webpage. Which I did have. But it had like...only frames. It had like 3 words and just me splitting the page into 50 frames because I did not know what I was doing.

I apologize to all the kids in the room who have never seen a web page covered in ugly ass frames. You lucky bastards.

....but Petz...Noah was into PETZ. I can respect him for that.

I still think he’s a little creep-o, but knowing that he hacked his pet has given me a lot of appreciation for his work.

Anyway, it was after Noah changed the boring ass simpleton dog into a much better dog that Gozoboro decided “I have made a monster, I am abandoning my boy.” Which uh...this was the thing?

This?

I mean as far as body horror goes, Litterbox up there is way worse. As far as body horror goes, we also have, Jinzo over here, but the digital dog with a cute robot head was the thing that made Gozoboro say “What have I done!?” The dog is digital, it’s not even alive.

Especially since I feel like the follow up question Noah made was like way more frightening than the dog thing?

Kaiba glazes right over this entire conversation. Like full stop, he didn’t even seem to blink. No part of this story even slightly surprised him, although I will admit, at least Seto has decided that Noah...exists and might in fact be a robot his Father made once. This in itself is a big deal for Kaiba, who has a goldfish memory and denial wider than the sea he’s trapped under.

First of all, congrats to the storyboarder/animator for drawing a hand in that angle, mad respect.

Second of all, this is pretty close to the actual line from the show, Kaiba legit thinks that his Dad wanted Kaiba to be the president, after he knows full well that his Dad was like “Don’t Take Over My Company, You Little Twerp” and then like tried to even send Seto back to the orphanage whence he came. Kaiba’s pretty sure that his Dad wanted that whole thing to happen exactly the way it happened. No regrets. Just family being family.

And Moki’s still chilling on the Moki couch, just kinda taking this all in before he’s summoned unto the field like a playing card.

Ah, yet another person who is like “KILL MEEE” on this show. It’s been kind of a while. Like, who’s left that hasn’t stood in front of a loaded card-gun like this? Duke? Is Duke the only one who hasn’t sacrificed his body for the greater card-good at this point? Is this why Duke is our amoral Chaotic Neutral? Is this why Duke is still the only one who hasn’t died yet (and I’m crossing my fingers still that he’s gonna be our death 169, it can happen, I can believe)?

I feel like this is the season of weird hugs. Like everyone on this show that has hugged has gotten a little weird. The only not-weird hug was when Yugi attempted to hug Joey once and then Joey dodged the hug and wrestled him into an arm-distanced noogie instead--which is technically still not a hug, but the closest we’ve gotten to something a human would do. It is so lucky for our art team that all the huggers are supposed to be hella weird anyway.

Anyway, next episode we get to find out if Noah also had an AIM username or got really into Jelly pens. I can see him getting suuuper into Jelly pens, with hair like that.

We next cut to Luna and Artemis. Lun asked Artemis for a status update on how things are going. Luna, wouldn't you know if Artemis knew? I assume you two have been together since the Guardians went into the Black Crystal. Wait! Can Artemis communicate telepathically with Sailor Venus?

Artemis also mentions other things about Nemesis shooting stuff at Earth, but that’s not really important. We all know we’re here for Wiseman.

And finally, we cut to where the action is. Sailor Moon & Friends are confronting Bad-A Chibiusa. Black Lady directs Wiseman to channel her the Power to destroy the world. She continues on about not being loved. Once again, Where’s Momo?

Sailor Moon begs Black Lady not to be fooled any more. Black Lady is done with her voice and attacks her. TM blocks the attack. SM is really good at getting guys to meat shield for her.

Fine. I admit it. This part is fantastic and makes a lot of sense. After seeing TM sacrifice himself for Sailor Moon, Sailor Moon & Friends all agree that Chibiusa is one of their friends. This forces Black Lady to confront the cognitive dissonance between what she’s believed with what she’s seen. Outstanding writing. (Stop making me act like I’m not a curmudgeon!)

Wiseman/Death Phantom/Darth Sidious speaks to Black Lady, telling her that he’ll send her the Malefic Black Crystal energy again. Black Lady chooses to side with her preconceived beliefs over new evidence and attacks the group.

Side-thought: At this point, I’m torn. I feel that the Sailor Guardians begging Black Lady to realize they’re her friends is getting old, but I also understand that most people when faced with cognitive dissonance choose to ignore the new evidence. So the writers’ story makes sense, I’m just annoyed by it.

TM recalls Prince Endymion’s words that his and Sailor Moon’s love must be like my love for pizza. TM walks over to Sailor Moon and helps her up, and they face the problem together. Sailor Moon uses Moon Crystal Power.

We now are in the future looking at Neo Queen Serenity.

And we’re back to the Black Gate, and Sailor Moon has become Neo Queen Serenity, and my analytic powers are failing me, but I’m so intrigued, I don’t care that much.

Battle of the memories! We get a replay of the flashback to Chibiusa falling in the rain with a voice over by Neo Queen Serenity ‘explaining’ her actions. She didn’t help because, and I quote “it’s because you needed to know you had the strength to stand on your own.” Unfortunately for the show, my analytic abilities have returned and I hate this explanation. Chibiusa wasn’t doubting her strength, She was injured and wanted comfort. Usagi of all people should have understood this distinction.

She then offers this further justification, which I still don’t buy. She’s still conflating loss of confidence with legitimate physical pain.

While I’m not convinced, Black Lady seems to take the lesson that they didn’t help her because they loved her.

Wiseman returns and encases Black Lady, Neo Queen Serenity, and TM in the power of the Malefic Black Crystal.He rambles on about not being loved and only trusting the darkness. Once again, we’re back to Black Lady possibly believing they’re her friends, and then not believing they’re her friends. Using this motif once or twice is fine, but I think they’ve utilized this 4 or 5 times, and it’s leaving a bitter taste in my mouth.

In the vortex, we see a blue-haired Chibiusa. Minus 49 quality points.

Black Lady attacks Neo Queen Serentiy and TM. It’s a very inefficient attack as Neo Queen Serenity continues to talk very calmly to Black Lady about how she needs to leave to protect herself. Black Lady tells Neo Queen Serentiy to leave, but Neo Queen Serenity says Black Lady’s survival is all that matters.

We get more flashbacks to happy memories of Chibiusa’s past with Sailor Moon & Friends and I don’t care about Black Lady any more. I’m sorry. I know I’m probably supposed to be all like “Ah! Look at Usagi’s resolve! How sweet!” but I’m not.

We get a scene with Black Lady, Neo Queen Serenity, and Tuxedo Mask that is them having a.conversation about why Neo Queen Serenity cares about Black Lady. The music is fantastic! Black Lady loses the Dark Moon clan symbol and I hope that this fiasco is over.

They return the the Black gate with Black Lady transformed into Chibiusa, I never thought I’d be happy to see Chibiusa, but I am. Strange...

We have only now reached the halfway point.

We return to the Black Gate with Chibiusa realizing they have always been there for her. Usagi is a little tipsy and Chibiusa reminds her she used the Silver Crystal. Thunder starts to sound around them

Wiseman returns and says that the Black Gate is already open. They vow they’ll stop him and he attacks them. With how much they get shocked, I’m surprised there hasn’t been at least one casualty.

I love this shot. When the Black Crystal’s power begins to spread across Earth, Sailor Moon stands up and is not about to take this crap. She does say she lives everyone on this planet, which seems a little crazy, but it’s fine. I’ll let it slide. It’s an awesome scene.

This show is at it’s best when Sailor Moon with all her faults, is the hero. Now we’re getting to see her really embrace it, and I love it.

Wiseman attacks her but she transforms back into Neo Queen Serenity. Once again, the left hemisphere of my braim has shut down. Then we get this music? Dance Rave! (My right hemisphere has taken over). I I love the calm resilience in her eyes. Also, as @uglygreenjacket as my witness, I recalled that Chibiusa has a Silver Crystal too.

Neo Queen Serenity and Wiseman have a battle of wills and power. When it looks like Neo Queen Serenity isn’t going to be able to overcome Wiseman, Chibiusa cries and the Silver Crystal appears from her tear. See, I'm not too dumb for kids' show! (I’m looking at you Petz)

The rest of Sailor Moon & Friends join in the fight. Their power combined is enough to overcome the malefic black crystal and bring the world back to peace. (It really is a lot more epic than that, I just don’t know how to make it seem that way without giving a tedious play by play)

Sailor Moon and Chibiusa wake up in a pink pool, thinking they died but saved the world. Neo Queen Serenity tells them they haven’t died. What is this place then? Is one of them dreaming? Is it a weird non-physical plane where consciousness can interact? Is that even possible?

We see the black crystal in modern Tokyo shrink while the sun rises. Artemis sounds way too surprised that they succeeded.

Sailor Moon & Friends take turn saying goodbye to Chibiusa. Of course Ami is only known for studying, cause she’s the smart one. Also, Venus says “remember not to wet your bed,” which I don’t think is a memory issue at all. Chibiusa calls Usagi “mommy” and I’m kinda uncomfortable with that. I bet they go to school the next day.

We see Crystal Tokyo and it’s beautiful. Chibiusa walks up the Neo Queen Serenity and King Endymion who welcome her back. Is it just me or are those leg to body ratios crazy?

FInal Thoughts: Fantastic Episode! I was a little bitter towards the end of the first half but the second half completely turned it around. I love that Chibiusa played a valuable part in saving the world. I love that they let Sailor Moon have her moment to shine. I loved the music. Fantastic episode! Note: The next episode is a recap and sneak peak combined. It’s going to be a little difficult to summarize but I’ll make do. Next week, the Start of Season 3! (Or S, as it’s actually titled)

well here's an update for anyone curious I guess. Where have I been, what have I been doing, and such.

But first!

Yes that's right, I finally champed Salvo (albeit with a lot of points from fun shows, but I don't really care)!

In light of that, I'm introducing a new poodle to my show line up (I'm terrible to myself), Goatzy's Doves on the Palisade "Marble"!

(No, I won't stop with the ridiculous melodramatic names.)

This gal was a pain in my rear to breed, using only ob petz 4 dogz. In the end I still had to brex her size up, but oh well. The rest is all natural (and horrifically inbred, unfortunately). I should've just found a poodle overwrite that transfers their coats. My goal was a long tail white poodle, and it took ~2.5 continuous hours of breeding to get that.

Let's just ignore my other poodle I need to champ, yeah?

Now, onto me.

I've been in and out a couple of times, but not very noticeable since last year. Unfortunately depression and school have run me to the ground and it's taken a lot to get back into anything at all, so petz fell by the wayside. Things are looking better now, but I'm transferring colleges soon, so it's still hectic.

Can't guarantee I'll be back back, but I'm planning to at least idly enter shows. I'm not letting it take over a year to champ Marble like it did Salvo. I probably won't be hexing anything for a bit though.

I haven't updated Goatzy Petz and Things, it needs some reworking, but I have put some more work into my crew site! The Goat Barn, here on tumblr, now has all of the hexies I currently own and my champion catz. There's not many, but it's nice to have them gathered. I haven't updated the theme or find it, but that might take a while.

Anyway, yeah! That's pretty much all I've got to update for now, see ya around?

I think I've heard you say you enjoy turn-based games before, and you've posted bioshock infinite fan art, but I've never seen you talk about games before. What are your favourite games? (Or really just tell us anything about you and gaming!)

TL;DR: Yes I play games!

I haven’t been so active ever since I graduated school and started working, because… 9 to 5 job… raising a kid as a mother… but games and video games have always been a big part of my life!

It was the 90s so my mom was against violence in video games so I watched my elementary school guy friends play things like Street Fighter 2, Sonic, Tomb Raider, KOTOR.. but never picked it up.

I eased into computer games through puzzle games like Myst, and Humongous Entertainment (Pajama Sam, Spyfox, Backyard Baseball), and edutainment games like Oregon Trail 3 and Where in Time is Carmen San Diego. I always played with my sister! My neighbor and I also played this Indiana jones top-down adventure game a lot. I also loved things like petz, sim farm, sim tower, sim city, and roller coaster tycoon, and the sims and sims2, oh and this game called “creatures”?

My family are big card players and board game players, and I grew up playing a version of speed solitaire that only exists in my family. In 4th grade I somehow played online poker via America Online…? And when someone asked my age I lied and said I was in 5th grade lol. My sister and I still love playing board games, especially Serenissima and Clueless (a version of Clue we came up with where you play without a notepad). a few friends in high school played Warhammer so I watched that a bit.

In middle school I got into TCG’s, mainly Pokémon and Magic the Gathering.. I had a solid Armadillo Deck in high school.. I used to play with this education tool called Interactive Physics in the computer lab a lot. Also loved this website called Orisinal, which come to think of it has informed my aesthetic a lot. I got a gameboy color and played Pokémon Blue, Kirby’s Tilt n Tumble, Conker’s Pocket Tales.. I got into DDR for a hot minute, Marvel vs Capcom, King of Fighters, Guilty Gear..

My first console was a translucent orange N64, I loved games like Harvest Moon and Hey You Pikachu, Mario Party 2 (the best), beetle adventure racing, tons of games rented from blockbuster, and I would watch my guy friends play StarFox and Smash Brothers. Before it came out, I ran emulators of Pokémon Gold on my computer and tried playing through it in Japanese haha. I super got into the Japanese emulator for the Pokémon trading card game gameboy game!

When I got in high school I finally got a PlayStation, and I fell hard for Final Fantasy. My first was 9, and I went back from there. It’s hard to go back from 9 to 8 and then to 7. In the end I lost interest in 7 and never finished it. Also followed the squaresoft road and really loved Legend of Mana! I watched G4 and cosplayed as game characters at anime cons and stuff. Got my PS2 to play Final Fantasy X, loved the core Kingdom Hearts games, Katamari Damacy.. odd titles like Magic Pengel.. doubled down with X-2, HM:BTN.. not a lot of ‘violent’ games or shooters. (My family all played our Wii Sports to pieces, etc..) I watched my friends play a ton of GTA, and I loved just listening to the radio!

I spent a ton of time playing Ragnarok! I got to the Monk class, had some pretty rare headgear, which was so fun. In college I got my PS3 and played a mess of stuff, some tekken and Soul Calibur, but really just got busy with uni and then work.. I lived in Tokyo though so I would go to TGS and soak it all in. I saw Adam Sessler and Morgan Webb taping a segment there one year! But my interest was mostly on the peripheral, I checked out of it as a hobby for a good amount of years until I got an iPhone and then started watching let’s plays on YouTube!

I got back into following games as a medium through being interested in the development of Bioshock Infinite. During college, when I went back home for the summer, I spent a night hanging out in a park with my high school friends listening to them talk about how cool this game called bioshock is. Sounded too scary for me, but I plot searched the hell out of it online much like I do when I’m interested in scary movies but don’t want to watch them…?

So when I heard a new one was coming out I casually followed it through its development, then watched lets plays of it when it came out in real time, and just got super into it because I had been studying the history of math and science in college, and so I was studying about the history of quantum theory and stuff right at the time. then because of all that I got into watching gaming related stuff on YouTube, watched a lot of rev3 et all, gamergate happened, yeah..

But I still play games on muh lonesome, and still watch let’s plays of games I don’t have the skill or time to play! I think I’ve watched let’s plays of most of the major games for 2013-2016 in the process! I really liked Firewatch! Watched through Lots of older ones too. I really got into watching videos of the Arkham series, and from that I started watching deep dives on US comics by people on YouTube, etc… also found MBMBaM via games!

So I don’t think my story is unique but I’m sort of more of a spectator of what you may call your classic video games, and the ones I do play are either strategic, or laid back.. usually turn-based. But looking back I certainly have experienced more than someone who doesn’t!

Nowadays I love Civilization 4 with a passion, retroactively played through the Bioshock Series while I was on maternity leave (my first time playing a shooter!) which was an important touchstone for me as a person for many reasons.. separate from my opinion of the game itself, but either than that though, I haven’t picked up a controller since Splatoon. ..well that’s a lie, my toddler *loves* wii-u party. But, still haven’t gotten around to buying a PS4. Or a switch. But ive played through Riven and Exile on my iPhone, recently played Oxenfree, um let’s see, I backed We Happy Few, and it freaks me out to play but I got pretty good at playing one of the earlier versions! I listen to a lot of video game podcasts, too, though I think it’s more from a companionship stance than anything.. I still live in japan and most of my social circle doesn’t speak English, and all these people remind me of my high school friends. Good times. That kinda thing.
