“trying again?” one of your group mates glanced at you staring at your phone, “i’m just sharing how my day was” you shrugged.

“he’s got like millions of posts, you know that too” she chuckled, “instead of being online in your own group’s weverse you’re going online on your fan account”

“i’m online everyday you’re just overreacting” you rolled your eyes.

“why don’t you just talk to him in class? didn’t you say you both were classmates?” she pat your head.

you shook your head, “it’s not that easy, we’re both barely attending to class because of our busy schedule, and we basically stopped talking after a while”

“it’s the only way i can interact with him—at least hope so? idk”

“and what if he does notice you?” she suddenly asked, “what are you going to do then?”

“probably faint”

“you’re acting like a real fan right now”

“what do you mean acting? i am a real fan”

“no you’re not, you’re just crushing over him and don’t know how to properly confess so you’re using this app and hoping to get noticed” your other group mate barged in your conversation.

“you’re hopelessly in love” they both teased you.

“good morning!” you greet your classmates. your schedule was clean for the whole week so you decided were forced to go back to school.

your friends greeted you back and you sat at your desk.

“morning” jungwon mumbled as he entered the class.

it was a rare sight, jungwon’s never usually at school. his schedule is way busier than yours and considering the fact that you show up to school once a month, it was quite surprising to see jungwon’s presence.

“morning” you greeted back and he went to his seat at the corner of the class.

you missed him. you actually did. having a crush is more than just thinking about someone 24/7, it’s also about missing him.

jungwon is your role model, he had always been. being classmates for more than four years together, he helped you getting into the company you wanted and encouraged you to stay until you debut.

you went through all of this because of him and yet, both of you rarely even talk.

jungwon couldn’t quite explain why, perhaps it’s your pretty eyes that he gets lost while staring at them, or was it your smile that always ( no matter when ! ) lights up the world, his world.

he found himself getting all shy and closed up being around you, call it cheesy but jungwon just can’t stop thinking about you and missing you.

he tends to come to school more often these days, some might think he’s just trying to catch up with school, but truth is, he’s searching for you every day, to see you and your smile.

you sat at the front line while jungwon sat at the corner, which makes it easier for him to stare at you without you even noticing.

“should i ask him to eat lunch with us today?” you whispered to your seatmate and she nodded.

“i just don’t know—“ “morning! finally y/n we get to see you!” the teacher got in class and cut you.

after class you gathered all your stuffs quickly but stopped when you felt a figure standing in front of you,

“hey um” you coughed, “jungwon, i’m jungwon-“ he cut you off.

you froze, a bit taken aback, “no i know-“ “oh! oh right” he nodded.

“i was wondering if you’d like to grab some-“

“hey y/n! let’s go to the cafeteria!” your friends called you and you instantly frowned, “i can’t, something urgent came up and i need to go”

they nodded and left, you then turned to jungwon, “what did you want to-“ “it’s okay, never mind about that” he quickly mumbled and left.

jungwon sighed, “i can’t stop thinking about her, it’s like she’s living in my mind rent free”

jay pat jungwon’s shoulder, he can see how sad is friend is and how difficult things are for him.

she sighed when she realized what was happening, “really y/n?”

“what is it?”

the curious cats followed her and peeked into her phone, they all sighed when they saw what is this all about.

“i was about to experience a heart attack!! we don’t do those things y/n!”

“no but you don’t understand!”

“yang jungwon just replied to me!” you walked back and forth around the room.

“i need you to sit down and calm down!” the leader held your shoulders and dropped you on the couch, “it happened once and it probably won’t happen again, i’m really happy for you”

“BURNNN” they all shout and giggled.

you know they were joking, your groupmates became your family in a blink of an eye. they take a good care of you, and worry about you 24/7, like good old sisters.

but what they like to do the most is to tease you, which you find very annoying, but they just find it really cute.

“i’m definitely going to keep an eye on her” jungwon said to jay who was sitting next to him, “i have no choice but to trust your instincts now” he replied.

“how was your schedule yesterday?” your classmate asked you the next day.

you laid your head on your desk and groaned, “it was pretty tiring most of the time”

they pat your head and let you off, without having any other distractions—you fell asleep.

“morn-” jungwon got into the classroom and noticed your sleeping figure.

he smiled to himself, finding you so cute and adorable with your head all smashed over your desk and your slow breaths that made him think you were choking there for a second.

“what are you looking at?” his friend put his hand over jungwon’s shoulder, “nothing, i was just thinking about something”

“y/n wake up!” you heard someone whispering. you slowly opened your eyes and was welcomed by your friends all gathered around you with a big smile, “what is it?” you uttered.

“someone got you this drink” one of your friends held out your favorite drink, “you slept through all the periods, it’s lunch time already”

you looked at your phone and gasped, “why did no one wake me up?”

“we tried, you just were in deep sleep”

“thank you for the drink, did you happen to see who that was?” you curiously looked at the drink as your friends shrugged, “we all went out to get our lunch”

wonie’s bff (REAL!)🤍 : 6:08PM something really weird happened today at school! someone bought me my favorite drink and put it on my desk! do you think i should look for that person?

“look!!” jungwon, who was active on weverse suddenly noticed the post, “it’s the same person from yesterday”

jay sat next to him and peeked at jungwon’s phone, “why? did you buy y/n her favorite drink today without her knowing?” he giggled but stopped when he noticed jungwon started blushing, “you can’t be serious”

“you know what they say!” one of them said, “third time a charm!” the rest of you completed the sentence and giggled.

“i’m going to be full honest now,” another one said, “i don’t think there is going to be a third time”

“you never know!”

the next day you got notified that your “schedule-free” week was a complete lie.

“what do you mean i can’t go to school this week? you told me i’m free!” your argued your manager.

“some photoshoots and sponsors came up, i’m sorry it’s like that” she pat your shoulder.

“how am i going to see jungwon again?” you asked your group leader.

if there’s one thing she’s good at, it’s probably to listen and give advices, that’s why you find yourself always laying your head on her lap and venting out your concerns.

“it’s not like you’ve seen him a lot before” she said, “right?”

“no but it was different this time! i was actually ready to talk to him about everything”

“what do you mean everything?”

“i don’t know i—“ you sighed, “my feelings? the way i feel whenever i look at him? everything”

“you do realize that it’d probably be weird to confess to someone you rarely talk to, right?”

“i hate that you’re right” you rolled your eyes, “i was actually ready to befriend him, to get closer to him”

“i saw you smiling at your phone so i thought you were texting someone,” heeseung sighed and returned jungwon’s phone, “but weverse, really?”

jungwon shrugged, “i’m just replying to fans, they’re cute”

heeseung shook his head in return, “it’s not ‘fans’ you’re talking to, it’s only one specific fan you’re replying to”

“i’ve been replying to other fans too”

“that’s what you’d like to think”

heeseung was right, jungwon does only reply to the person he said he’d keep an eye on, which is totally fine, but at what cost?

“fans are starting to think you’re dating that person secretly, you should be careful” heeseung sighed.

“you’re right, that person just interests me” jungwon replied, “i have this weird feeling it might be y/n”

“y/n? why would she be on our weverse page?” heeseung tilt his head, “doesn’t she have her own group’s weverse page to go through?”

“yeah, but some posts of her really reminds me of situations that occurred between us,” jungwon nodded, “look, a few days ago she posted something that was really similar to what happened at school!”

heeseung took jungwon’s phone again to look through the suspicious account, “let’s just keep an eye on this account”

jungwon nodded and slowly tapped his reply.

the next day you begged your manager to cancel your schedule, with the excuse of, “i have exams coming up and i need to catch up, do you want to see me fail?”

and it actually worked!

today you’re going to see jungwon and talk to him, no matter what!

you arrived at school and sat by your usual seat, putting your broken phone on the desk and laying your head over your hands next to it.

you slowly drifted to sleep, school is too boring on the morning anyway!

as jungwon entered the class he first looked over your direction, of course he would.

he smiled to himself, he always does when he looks at you.

he then noticed your phone that was right next to you, it was smashed and broken, as if it was dropped.

jungwon gasped, he opened his phone and entered weverse, searching the account he’s been keeping an eye on, and that was it.

a dropped and now broken phone, it’s a match!

he took a picture of your broken phone and went back to his seat to text his members about the shocking news.

‘it’s definitely her’ he sent the text and added the picture of your broken phone.

‘i don’t think so, just because of a broken phone?’ jay responded.

‘yes! she said yesterday that her phone was dropped and got broken’ jungwon replied.

‘it might be a coincidence’ heeseung claimed.

jungwon was about to text them back but had to turn off the phone once the teacher entered the class.

first break of the day was a good opportunity to talk to jungwon. you woke up in the middle of the second period and thought about ways to approach him.

you searched for him in the class, eyes scanning every place until you landed on his seat, of course, that’s how he usually spends his first break. in his usual seat, with a snack in one hand and in the other he’s holding his phone and scrolling through social media.

you got up, suddenly feeling bold enough to make steps towards his seat.

“hey jungwon” you let out.

he froze for a second, then turning off his phone and putting away his snack, “oh, hey y/n”

“heyyyyy” you said again.

“hey?” he questioned.

“uhm” you coughed, “sorry”

“it’s okay, is there something wrong?”

“no no!” you shook your hand, “i was just wondering”

you was about to continue but your phone buzzed, you got a notification.

“your phone’s broken” he pointed out.

shit, you thought. “yeah” you giggled, “i uh—“

“i dropped it after my members decided to pull a scary prank on me” good one.

he nodded and chuckled, “so?”

“so,” you cleared your throat, “i was wondering if you’d like to start over again”

finally!! you cheered.

“i mean, you’ve helped me a lot through my trainee days and encouraged me to achieve my dreams but we stopped talking after i debuted and i really feel like—“ you spoke too fast and jungwon cut you off, “i’d really like that”

“really?” you asked and he nodded, “really”

wonie’s bff (REAL!)🤍 : 8:50PM i asked my crush if he’d like to get to know each other again today!! he’s a person that really helped me through tough times and always encouraged me! we were good friends back then but stopped talking after a while, i really thought he was angry at me for some reason, but i couldn’t stop having feelings for him, so i made the first step today and he actually agreed!! im so happy!!

“you did WHAT?” your group leader asked you.

“i did it, i asked if he’d like to get to know each other aga-“

“oh im so proud of you my child” she hugged you tightly and pecked your forehead, “you’re all grown up now”

“yeah!” jake nodded and jungwon groaned, “you’re no help”

“so? tell us everything” your members sat you on the couch while they surrounded you with some curious eyes.

“about?”

“about what happened at school!”

“i went to jungwon, asked him if he’d like to start over again, he said he’d love to, so we went together to get some lunch and talked about everything we missed, it was real fun honestly really recommend you to do that too—“

“did you confess, or not” they all asked.

“no why would i confess so soon”

they all sighed, “no drama, no fun!”

“y/n calm down!!” your leader said, “maybe he just assumed it was the first break since it’s the first time of the day you get to spend with other people!”

“you’re right,” you breathed in, calming yourself down, “thank you”

next day you went back in track, your manager told you the next time you’d be showing up to school would be only on exams and maybe next month.

your schedule became busier than before, you barely had time to breath. going back and forth, from a phothshoot to an interview then practice and more.

you were drained and overworked, your phone hasn’t been touched ever since the last day you showed up at school, which means—you haven’t showed up on weverse a few weeks already.

you’d see jungwon only when you arrive to school to take exams, but then disappear right away after you finish them.

“waiting for a new update again?” sunghoon asked jungwon who was staring at his phone and refreshing the page every minute, “yeah” he replied.

“she’s always online around these hours” he added.

“have you seen her at school?” sunghoon asked, jungwon froze for a second, thinking about the last time you showed up at school, “only when there’s an exam we need to take”

“maybe she’s just having a busy schedule,” sunghoon shrugged, “you’re barely online when you have a tight schedule”

“right” jungwon nodded, “but i wonder if she’s doing well” he sighed and closed his phone.

the past days has been awful to you. you slowly felt yourself vanishing, like a lifeless soul walking around.

your groupmates always looks after you worriedly, you’d barely even talk to anyone.

“y/n what about eating something?” your leader asked you, “no i’m okay, i ate just a few minutes ago” you smiled.

that was a total lie, you simply didn’t feel like eating lately.

slowly but surely you stared at your phone, five minutes won’t hurt, right?

wonie’s bff (REAL!)🤍 : 12:57PM haven’t been active lately and i miss being here and interacting with you jungwon! i don’t think i’ll be able to be active again so i’m here to say that you should take good care of yourself, eat your meals in time and rest when you need to.🤍 your health always comes first!!

you sighed and turned off your phone.

jungwon, who was busy staring at his phone and waiting for a new update suddenly jumped in his chair.

“what is it?”

“the ‘weverse crush’ illness” niki laughed and jungwon sighed.

“you can’t stop refreshing the page to see a new post from her!” jay claimed, “and you’re replying so fast whenever she does post something” jake added.

“you should just get her phone number and text her” heeseung shrugged.

“but im not sure it’s her” jungwon turned off his phone.

“all clues points at her, it’s worth a shot” sunghoon nodded.

the next day you were forced to go back to school, your school principal complained about the fact that you’ve been missing most of your classes and nearly failing in all of them.

so it’s settled, you’ll be going to school for a month sharp, without any useless inconveniences.

first day of school after a while of not being there felt like a nightmare.

you looked at the school building with horror, yet, you felt a bit excited to see jungwon again.

you took your usual seat, put your earphones in and listened to your favorite song.

when jungwon entered the class, he was surprised to see you sitting there and staring at one point of the class.

he knocked on your desk and you zoomed out, “oh, hey” you smiled weakly.

something definitely happened while you were gone, “hey, it’s good to see you again”

the teacher entered the class right away and jungwon ran to his seat.

at lunch, you stayed in your desk, excusing yourself from your friends and going back to your books to read and study.

jungwon frowned, he has to do something about it.

he went to the cafeteria and got your favorite snack, he knows it’s your favorite, he remembers.

you were so focused on your study book to notice jungwon’s figure next to you.

“knock knock?” he questioned and you looked at him, making eye contact for a few seconds before looking away.

“hey again” you closed your book and focused on him.

“i got it for you” he handed you your favorite snack with a wide grin on his face.

“thank you”

silence. it was so quiet that you could even hear the birds outside.

“is everything okay?” he suddenly asked.

“huh?”

“oh yes, everything’s amazing” you smiled.

“we both know you’re lying”

turns out you were a bad liar after all.

“i’m not going to force you to speak,” he pat your shoulder, “but i’m here for you”

those words, were enough to break you down.

you felt comfort around him, you felt everything you feel around someone you’re in love with, you felt warm, welcomed and understood.

so you told him everything, from A to Z.

jungwon is known as his group’s no.1 comforter, and he’s now your personal no.1 comforter as well.

he knew the exact words to say to you and how to make you feel better.

right when you finished crying he told you a joke, and now you were shedding tears out of laughter.

“thank you” you looked at him with comfort.

“anytime” he chuckled and stole your snack, “you’re not crying anymore so i’ll just take that and save it for myself”

you rolled your eyes and kept messing around until it was time for another class.

wonie’s bff (REAL!)🤍 : 8:30PM i had the best day ever today! i saw my favorite person ever at school today, after a long time i haven’t been able to see him! i also cried in front of him (was so embarrassing) but he comforted me so well, i think i’m falling in love all over again.

“so um,” the next day, you dragged jungwon out of the classroom as soon as he entered.

you had to talk about it before the rest of the day continues.

“taehyun, wanna be my boyfriend?”

you stared back at the boy that has rejected pretty much everyone at school, watching him blink slowly at you. you both stood on top of the rooftop of the school building, no one was there as it was after school.

you were probably wondering how you got in this situation. well, let’s start from the beginning.

you’ve had feelings for taehyun for years. you first met him during freshman year, when your former math teacher asked him to tutor you, as it’s the subject that you struggled the most. you really wanted to pass that class, not wanting to retake it for summer school, as you already had plans for summer vacation.

taehyun is surprisingly very patient and kind to you, opposite of what you heard from others. he was often described as cold, having no emotions, and rude. he has rejected so many girls, denying the gifts that are offered to him, telling them that they are wasting their time.

“you really think he’s going to say yes? keep dreaming.” one of them told you, rolling their eyes at you when they overheard you tell your best friend, chaewon, that you plan on confessing to him.

that comment made you think, wanting to prove them wrong. but now, you don’t know anymore. they’re probably right. he has rejected all of them, you really think he’s going to be different to you?

gulping, your hands were clenched into a fists by your side. he then hummed, nodding at you. wait what?

your eyes slowly widened, ears feeling hot. “sure.” he gave you a smile, his dimple popping out. his eyes were soft, gazing at you.

“you want to?” your tone confused, not expecting his answer. he chuckled lowly, tilting his head a bit. “do you want me to say no?” he asked, raising his brows.

shaking your head hastily, a shy smile appears on your face. “no, of course i want you to say yes.” you looked down at his hand, taehyun noticing when you did, so he took your hand, intertwining it with his.

you stomach flips, your cheeks red as a tomato. his hand felt nice against yours. you looked back up at him, “can you pinch my cheek so i know this is real?” you blurted out, biting on your bottom lip.

he looks at you with his big round boba eyes that you adore so much, pulling you closer to him by your hand that was still kept in his. he let go of your hand before he began pinching both your cheeks, instead of just one, firmly but gently. his smile grew bigger, his cheekbones becoming more prominent.

“you believe it now?” he leans closer to you, his forehead touching yours, feeling your heart was about to explode.

“y-yeah!” your cheeks felt like they were on fire.

he leaned back up before taking your hand once again, holding it in his own.

“come on, let me drive my girlfriend home.”

bonus:

“why is taehyun here?” someone whispers, everyone else in the room watching as taehyun walks in the room with a huge bouquet of flowers, not even sparing them a glance as he only looked at you, who was very busy writing something down.

looking up after hearing the commotion, a wide smile immediately appearing on your face as you saw him.

“my boyfriend’s here.” you said, standing up to take the bouquet he held out for you before kissing his cheek. everyone’s mouth opened, seeing something they never thought would happen, which is to see taehyun being romantic.

the bouquet had different pastel colors, making you smile.

“what is this for?” you let out a soft laugh, admiring the flowers in your arms while taehyun looks at you lovingly.

“i saw those on the way here to school, and it made me think of you.”

“how so?”

“those are the prettiest bouquet out of all.”

your footsteps echoed in the empty hallway as you quickly walked towards your classroom. you must have forgotten your notebook somewhere there.

arriving at the door, you stopped in your tracks at the sight that greets you, your stomach doing a sudden flip.

yang jungwon.

he was sleeping, sprawled over the desk, the sunlight filtering in through the stained windows falling on his face. you stood there, unsure of whether to wake him up or not.

maybe you should considering how the gates would be locked in half an hour or so and you weren't cruel enough to let a poor boy be stuck in the school for so long.

you nervously walked up to his sleeping figure, oberseving the way his face looked so calm. it was not something you saw often. jungwon was always busy with studies, student council and what not.

he was so etheral that you had to stop yourself from being creepy and looking away. it wasn't like yang jungwon was your crush. he was a classmate, a very helpful one. always willing to lend a hand, or give a smile across the hallways.

but then again, you didn't miss the way your heart raced everytime he talked to you.

'uh jungwon…' you whispered, scared of how he would react to your sudden presence. 'school is finished, uhm… get up.'

hearing the sudden voice, the boy woke up with a start. 'who- what?!' he spoke in a sleepy voice before noticing you, face to face with him.

jungwon gulped at the sight of your face, his cheeks turning a shade darker, 'Oh, uh… y/n?!'

realizing the position you were in, you jumped back embarrassed, 'y-yeah… It's time to go.'

he looked around the empty classroom to avoid any further eye contact with his crush standing in front of him, before stuffing the books into his bag and getting up and following you out of the classroom.

jungwon took in a deep breath, stealing a quick glance at your direction and mustering up some courage, 'hey..... shouldwewalkbackhometogether?' it's now or never

you turned towards him in confusion, 'erm you need to calm down jungwon.'

'should we walk back home together?' he repeated, emphasising on each word, looking cute doing so. you couldn't hide the smile that spread across your face as you gave a quick nod.

jungwon couldn't believe it. he had always wanted to talk to you outside the formal 'hello' and 'how are you' and there you were, walking beside him with a small skip in your step. you chuckled at something he said only to find him looking at you softly.

your heart sped up, 'what?' the boy turned around, embaressed, 'n-nothing! oh look, i think we have arrived.'

you looked at your house at the other side of the street, 'i'm afraid so.' you pouted, not wanting to leave him. 'we should talk m-' '-you're cute, jungwon', you both said at the same moment. your ears turned pink as the realization hit you of what you had just said.

uh oh. 'okay bye see you at school!' you squeaked before sprinting in the opposite direction.

jungwon looked at your disappearing figure in a daze. did you really call him cute?

You were terribly annoyed, you had every right to be! Once again, the embodiment of the devil had beaten you again for test scores, and he was shoving it right in your face.

"Really? A 85% y/n? Cmon, I seriously thought you could do better." His voice boomed in the hallways, you didn't even know why he had decided to follow you outside the classroom. Whatever goes on in the classroom, is suppose to stay. You had just hoped that the sea of people who block his view of you.

How did he even manage to get a higher grade than you? From what you knew, he'd simply just lean on his chair during class and break the dress code with those hideous flip flops. He wasn't even a teachers favorite! In fact, all teachers hated him, but all students had loved him. He wasn't super athletic, but he was decent at almost any sport the school threw at him. He just probably did it all for the girls and boys to fawn over. Who knows, maybe even a student had given him am extra study lesson in exhange for quality time or sports advice.

His tall stature gave him the advantage in the hallways however, despite your constant twist and turns around students and diffrent hallways, his pursuit continued until you reached your locker.

A loud slam erupted from the impact of hand to metal, and your head had shot to your side. One hand on the locker supported his figure, and he stared at you menacingly with a smirk ingraved into his features. Oh how you'd pay to rip it right off.

"Are you done following me, stalker? You won, whatever." You sighed and started to fumble with the combination code to your locker. You didn't understand why you were even nervous, you had no fear for this man at all, you just wanted him gone.

"Stalker? how hurtful y/n! But Besides, I'm not done celebrating. Don't you think I deserve something for my first ever win?" He boasted, you could still see the crumbled up paper that represented his test score smashed agasint the locker.

"I have nothing to give besides my congratulations. Now shoo." You peered stadight into his crimson hues, he was clearly amused by your defensive behavior.

"Well, I guess I should just claim my victory reward then. Every treasure needs hard work anyways" he sighed, and quickly cupped your face with his hands, smashing his lips onto yours.

Your eyes had sprawled in shock, not once during it did your body relax, but you didn't complain either.

He pulled away playfully, a crescent smile was painted onto him, it looked so much better than that menacing smirk.

"I dont remember that being a part of the war?!"

"You don't even remeber the test answers. 85%."

How could you even compete with this man?! If vox was the devil, he was the angel. He was top of your computer science class, and it didn't even look like he paid attention either. Did he join this class just to show off? Or is this some type of help-failing-students-in-computer-sceince program he was in. Your dear freind had failed that class until they got tutor by the magical man, and all of a sudden they improved gradually! We're all your lectures never enough for them?! You were already a decent student in the class, you turned about an assignment or two late every month, but that was just it! So why did he have to show up and "out do" you in anything with such a nice persona?! There was something up, you just knew it. There had to be something sinister and evil about this oh so perfect shu yamino. And it was your death wish to find out!

And the only way somebody would start such a difficult mission is to be with the man himself.

"Aha, Shu Yamino, may I please discuss something with you?" You had asked right when the bell had rung, Computer science was your last peroid, so you didn't think you'd be bothering him as much. He had given you a nod to continue as he began to shut off his computer and collect his stuff, you had gone completely silent until he fully turned towards you with a questioning look.

Honeslty up front he was better looking than you had thought. You never came to realize his highlights in his hair, or the way his middle part resembled a banana more than you had made it seem to be in your head, longer yet slightly thinning hair as it went down adorned his neck and landed at around his collarbone. A v shaped smile and bright purple orbs had just combined everything together. You need to get YOUR act together too.

With a quick throat clearing and straighting of posture, you had finally spoke to your secretly worse enemy;

"I'm. Having...Trouble..?" Was all you can manage to put out. You could've slapped yourself in that moment, now he probably thinks your having trouble trying to form a simple sentence as well. But in response, a breathy chuckle emitted out of his vocal chords

"Trouble? Sure, on what specific topic?" Aha! He bought it so easily! You didn't ever think the nerd would be so easy to manipulate— no like seriously. It's concerning how easy that was.

"I'm having trouble on Algorithm." You blurted, honestly that was one of the most simplest stuff ever, it was honestly a requirement to know that before you took the class. You just sorta blurted it out. He had bought everything you had said so far, but he'd probably now doubt you. He knew you were smart, and knew that you avoided him like the plague. This was too obvious, it's better to abort the mission by no—

"Sure, when are you free? I can do today if that's sounds well."

oh.

"Aha! Great, I can do it.. at the Cafe nearby Lake ave..does that sound well?" Shit. It took all of your willpower to compose yourself. That was terribly unexpected, so much so that you honestly regretted everything. All you had to do now was wait until your doom.

You even forgot what this was all for.

You waited at the exact spot your proposed the idea too. A nervous wreck. You had to remind yourself half way what you were here for.

'Find the bad side of shu yamino'. All you had to do was act terribly stupid! Surely he would snap at you, and you'd finally find out the truth.

But here you were, shu yamino ever so patient. You had done everything! You asked stupid questions, you have fumbled with your paper. You even had thought about going to far lengths like spilling the mysterious drink he bought. You wonder what it even was, it smelled awful. For some reason however, the man never stopped smiling and holding his calm persona. It was a facade, you knew it! All it would take it a final push to break it down, despite everything you knew your were close.

With one more stupid question of repetition, he sighed and put down his pencil. Fianlly, you had succeed—

"Give it up. I know you."

huh? "Did you really think I'd fall for this? I know that your a good student, I just played along with everything. Right when you came up to me I automatically knee what you were up to! But, I enjoyed this date of ours very much."

Wait, date?

You were bummed and embarssed he had caught you, but maybe it was for good. Maybe your mission was just to get closer to shu.

and maybe you could mark it as successful.

How annyoing,, it was terribly difficult to work with that man! You prided yourself in making sure nobody had broken hallway rules, you were never annyoing when correcting and reminding people, but you were when it came to him.

Mysta Rias was not only one the schools pranksters, but the "make-yn-have-the-worst-day-everinator!" He'd constantly run in the hallways, sometimes even using school property to swing himself around like a parkour course! Like your math teacher isn't going to give you extra points becuase you jumped off the water fountain at a 90° angle. Maybe you can use your poor math skills to find out the damage cost of that same fountain.

And there he went again in the middle of transition blocks, shouts of students in discomfort as he pushed past them in a mocking manner. This time for sure you would catch him, you just...also need to push past the sea of people. In a action of haste you also discarded the murmurs and other children's grunts as you rushed past everyone, and you held a firm grip upon the brunette.

Finally, You had caught the mf! Now at it was left was to drag him to the principles office and stop his stupid antics. However, a kid with green eyes stared back at you with fear.

Wrong fucking kid.

The sea of people had cast out into there classes, you held onto the kid in total shock. This was so embarrassing!! YOU GRABBED THE WRONG KID. YOU HAD ONE JOB OML

You heard a menacing irrating laughter behind you, and you new who it fucking belonged to.

"LMFAOO, you deadass thought I was that mf?! Who do you think I am?!" A fucking idiot tbh..

In a mfing FLASH you had grabbed mysta instead, dragging his ass into the direction of the princapls office. He had chuckled on the way there..until he had relized where your actually taking him.

The cocky,, arrogant persona quickly changed into one of desperation.

"Wait, you can't take me there! That will be like my what, 15th visit?! Hey cmon, I thought we were freinds, in fact, more than that!! You can't just betray me like this!!" He had scrambled out of your grip and stood right back up, quickly grabbing your shoulders and putting you in place.

"How 'bout this, if you don't take me there, I'll reward you with..a kiss!"

Where do I start with the Jock of the school. Definition of, "Bronze but no Brains." Infact, you were probably his brains. You tutored him a lot, much to the jealousy of practically everyone in the school. It was a pain to tutor him, it was like training a dog on how to play card games. He constantly tried to change the subject, and he constantly had tried to get YOU to work out with him. You were never interested in physical activity, you much had rather secured your diploma using academic skills. You honestly thought it was all pointless, you had to be terribly good at the sport to get a diploma, it was honestly heart wrenching to see kids go through it.

But not Luca, Luca had such a postive attuide, it was like he wasn't educated on how the world and school had worked. He believe everyone could get anything. Which is a good way to think about stuff, but it's not good to apply it to everything you do.

Luca had always told you the same exact thing however. "Try the sport! I'm sure you'll be amazing at it!" And you had always told him the exact thing, "No thank you."

You had repeated the same thing every time until it was his Birthday. The 10 of April, right when the temp began to rise into spring bliss.

"Its fmy birthday wish! That's all I want from you. No presents, gift, cake, nothing!" He shouted from across the study room, in which you angrily placed your finger to your lip in a an act to shut him up, but he still persisted.

You need to also teach him that presents and gift are basically the same thing.

"Just try one sport, I'll be your coach! We can do it after school when nobody else is here so you won't feel embarrassed to fianlly move your noodle arms around!"

What a backhanded mf.

You had a headache from his nonsense, to the point you mindlessly told him 'fine' just so you could have a moment to yourself to recover. You had completely forgotten about it, until he dragged you onto the field.

You were already out of breath from running there, now you had to actually play the sport?! You didn't even get a pick! He immediately chose football. He chucked a football towards you, in which you immediately ducked for cover.

You both knew this was going to be a terribly long day.

Minutes turned into minutes, hours into hours, you had completely lost track of everything. You laid on the field in exhaustion, as he joined you a couple minutes later— for some reason. You don't remeber inviting him.

"So! That was fun, yeah?" You had groaned in response, but you wouldn't lie to him, it was terribly fun for once.

"Whatever, my body is going to feel terribly sore tomorrow."

"I could kiss it to make it feel better!"

He was honestly perfect, and honestly the most sane out of everyone. He was at the top of his class, and had his fair share of sports and extra circular activities. He put teachers to shame with his own knowledge. And that'd exactly where it had lead you to.

Somehow you had managed to get into a AP English class. You never knew why, maybe it was becuase they ran out of people and decided to throw in students who they thought they could do well, or maybe they actually thought you were smart! Option 1 sounds more realistic though.

Your class was assigned another essay to write, and honestly you were ar the verge of a breaking point. ANOTHER essay? You could've sworn you just finished one about an historical white man. But hey, who's keeping track? Your not even keeping track of the your cup of coffee that tipped off your desk.

A huge splash echoed through the class, and a damped feeling sunk into your uniform. Shit, did that really just happen? Your gaze turned to the cup of coffee that was fully ruined, and wasted among the floor. That was going to a pain to clean up.

But wait—that's not even the point! You don't care about how tedious it will be the clean up, you care about all the eyes on you and your uniform! This was terribly embarrassing, you didn't even know what to think, your mind simply went blank. The bi haired male started back at your from the other side of the classroom, and the teacher muttered something before going to grab the janitor. Your mind was completely blank, you could hear kids snickering amongst themselves. You didn't even feel like crying, you just prayed you were dreaming.

Amongst your frantic thoughts, a hand decorated in diffrent rings reached out to you. You had peered up to see the same Bi- color haired male, the same bi colored orbs gazing right back. He had a concerned smile, and he urged his hand closer, signaling you to take it. It was almost like he teleported from his seat to you.

"Your clothes, let's stop by the office to get another uniform." He muttered, and you gladly took it. You rather had been anywhere besides that classroom.

It was silent on the walk there, you were questioning a lot of things, but especially him. You could've sworn he didn't talk to anyone else, you saw him with a freind group once, but that was it. None of his freinds were in the same AP English class either, so it was werid why he was the one to offer to take you.

Maybe he pitied you that badly.

If only you recognized how he always stared at you in class, and it wasn't just becuase you spilled coffee everywhere that one day.

You were a nervous wreck, and he was for a completely diffrent reason.

going to the beach with ben reilly headcanons !

he does not know how to swim or surf properly, he can doggy paddle, but that's about it 😭😭😭 what he loves doing at the beach though is flexing his muscles or showing off to you :>

he'd make comments like "oh the sun is so strikingly hot today... just like me," and then set his button up aside and just get in his swim trunks and """accidentally""" flex his biceps and abs to you

bonus: you're too busy setting up for you to pay attention to him 😭😭😭

he does help you with setting up the chairs, towels, and umbrellas though, it doesn't take much effort for him to do it. he does keep reminding you as you two are setting up on the beach that his hard work cannot go without being repaid..... and he turns to you with a hopeful gaze as you're busy doing mental count and note of the stuff you have and what you need to remember before you guys leave the beach.

i think he would, like ken in the barbie movie, show off to you by trying to surf (while being completely unknowledgeable about the first thing that comes to surfing)

"it's like....... swimming...... but with a board, right....... seems easy enough" (bitch does not know how to fucking swim <33)

he calls over to you by the shore while you're off talking to friends or reading or relaxing in the shade, and he just flips his hair as he tells you he's gonna 'tame a wave' when there's no wave to even ride rn

the real surfers are just staring at him like is this bitch seriously gonna surf without a wave..........

"check this out babe !!!" he exclaims as he runs headfirst towards the ocean at full speed, without there being any massive tides to surf on, and........ fucking........ faceplants and bellyflops into the water and just...... stays there for a few seconds until peter b and miguel fish him out 😭😭😭

when you rush over to him, he falls on you, clings on to you and tells you about the horrifying experience he had that was taming a nonexistent wave

"i was born to beach, babe....... but the ocean hates me.........."

when he sees other guys making advances towards you, showing off to you, or flirting with you, HE WILL PERSONALLY GO OUT OF HIS WAY TO OUTFLEX AND OUTFLIRT THEM (it's ben's version of a beach off, yes, he did beach all the guys who were interested in you off. every. last. one. of. them.)

he loves making sandcastles with you but will never admit it.

he cried when the water or mayday destroyed your sandcastle together, he was gonna put two rocks at the bottom, one with a seashell as a crown to declare you as the monarch by his side in ben's mojo dojo castle house (i love you platonically if you get the reference)

he gets pinched by the crabs there, one made their way into his trunks and after he got pinched by that crab, he stayed by your side in the shade, not wanting to leave out of fear another crustacean will get to him

he needs your kisses after being pinched by a crab <:(

when you go swimming in the ocean, ben would tell you not to be scared because he's here, he's gonna keep you from drowning–but turns out, you have to save him from drowning instead of him having to save you 😭😭😭

very self indulgent, not many people read pjsekai x reader (from what i've noticed </3) but i'm still making this since i love akito vv much :] plus i don't have requests on atm so may as well ! akito may be ooc and the fic may suck a bit since i haven't wrote fic style in awhile.

pairing: akito shinonome x reader.

warnings: other than minor swearing, none :)

opening your door, you sigh, your eyes blinking rapidly for the tiredness to go away. you then started taking off your shoes and placing them near the entrance of the house.

"i still gotta study for exams huh.. i hate this." you mutter to yourself, about to walk up to your room before a knock on your door stops you.

— knock, knock, knock —

three knocks were heard, turning your heel; you walked to the door, tiredly. "who is it..?" you ask out quietly but loud enough for the person outside to hear. you were too tired to put up an energetic font.

"s' akito, lemme in." a loud voice; which belonged to your boyfriend was heard through the door. you widened your eyes slightly, usually at this hour akito would be practicing with VBS. what's he doing here?

your hands immediately went to the door knob, unlocking and twisting it open as your face was met with your boyfriend's adorable face.

green eyes stared at you, he smiled slightly. "yo." was all he said as you stood at the side, motioning him to come in which he gladly did so. "what are you doing here? you usually have practice at this hour." you said, smiling. you were happy to see akito but at the same time, you were mentally struggling to fight the tiredness your body was experiencing from this exhausting day.

"eh, got cancelled. kohane got sick so an went to her house to check on her." akito says, shrugging his shoulders as he removed his shoes; once placed, he began walking to your bedroom. "oh.. i hope she gets better then. what about touya though?" you asked, following behind him, trying your best to hold back a yawn as you wanted to spend time with your boyfriend since it was quite rare to see him, especially with his busy schedule with school and practice.

akito chuckled, opening your bedroom door as you were both in your room. "s' fine. told him i wanted to come here and spend time with ya." akito said, turning himself; now facing you.

"hm.. i see." you muttered while nodding. akito's eyes softened at the sight of you, honestly it was very obvious you were tired, your voice barely having any volume, your eyes looking like they'll close at any minute, your body swaying sideways a little as if you'll pass out at any moment.

'idiot.' akito thinks to himself before grabbing your hand, making you look at him while tilting your head slightly as if asking him what he wants. "cmere." he mutters, lips pouting slightly making you smile slightly. ah.. he can really be cute without realizing it.

walking towards him, blinking your eyes rapidly as you felt like passing out at any moment. that feeling went away immediately as you felt akito grab your wrist in a slightly rough but gentle manner, pulling you towards him as he falls down onto your bed with a soft thud, making you stay on top of him.

"if you're tired, just tell me dumbass. no need to hide it." akito mutters, his hand that was holding your wrist now moving to hold your waist gently, hugging you in a gentle embrace.

you hum, now nuzzling your face into his shirt. 'he smells like coffee and cheesecake.. as always.' you think to yourself, inhaling the comforting scent of your boyfriend. "i just wanted to spend time with you.." you mutter into his chest, sighing into content as you felt yourself slowly falling asleep.

"that's what we're doing now stupid. plus i personally prefer this stuff over those cheesy dates and stuff." akito says, as one of his hand that was on your waist goes up to play with your hair. "hey.. if you do that, m' really gonna fall asleep.." you mutter softly, barely heard but akito somehow heard it.

"then sleep. i'll sleep with ya. i already texted ena that i'll stay here for the night." you chuckle, your eyes closing as the exhaustion from today consumes you. 'my studies can wait..'

opening your eyes, you look up at your boyfriend; staring at him with nothing but adoration and love. akito blushed and looked away. "oi, stop looking at me and go to sleep." he says with a glare but his soft voice and red ears say otherwise. "mm okay.. i love you." you giggle sleepily, lazily pecking his lips and leaning back down to nuzzle your face into his chest.

"tsk. i love ya too now sleep, i'll be here when you wake up." akito says, staring down at you (not really staring, he's full on adoring you). 'so cute.' he thinks to himself but he'd rather die than admit that to you directly. as you slowly feel sleep taking you away from reality, you also feel a small kiss on the crown of your head and a small mutter from akito; "i got real lucky with you, s/o."
