Chandler felt himself coming to, too fuzzy with sleep to recognize the significance of that. He felt pleasantly warm and drowsy, and turned a bit to borrow deeper into the blankets. Movement in front of him prompted him to reluctantly open his eyes. Don’s familiar figure was approaching him, his expression alight in a happy grin, and a (much larger) Naru in his arms. “Welcome back, sleepy head.” Chandler blinked heavily, his mind still sluggishly waking up. “Don?” He yawned, and stretched under the covers, noting the unusual stiffness throughout his body, and slowly remembering their last conversation. He felt the cushion beside him sink a bit as Don perched on the edge of the seat. Familiar fingers tenderly brushed his bangs aside. “Is’t spring, yet?” Chandler asked sleepily, reaching up to rub the sand out of his eyes.

“Would appear so,” Don replied still grinning. “I made some breakfast; figured you’d be hungry.”

As if in response, Chandler’s stomach let loose a low, grumbling noise. The brunet sat up slowly, a hand draping loosely over his hollow feeling stomach. “Yeah,” he replied, sounding more alert now. “Sounds good.”

For people who like Harry Potter but do not like J. K. Rowling or her views and stance on things I think you would be happy to know that the concept of a hidden magical school has its roots in real folklore and predates Harry Potter by centuries.   It's called Scholomance and literally just means "School of Magick."   Bram Stoker even references it in the novel Dracula, suggesting that Dracula was a student.  So yes, Count Dracula sort-of attended Hogwarts.   And this got me thinking...  If The Endless decided (Perhaps out of boredom) to run a school for magically incline beings and magically incline mortals, what would each one teach? Destiny -  Astrology and fortune telling 101. Death - Necromancy (but that can get a little messy) or ectomancy (Ghost based magick.  Summoning, banishing, or communicating with spirits). Morpheus / Dream - Oneiromancy.  Dream based magick, of course.  And the analyzing and interpretation of dreams, as well as how to lucid dream and dream walk (entering the dreams of others). Daniel / Dream - Basic elemental magicks and how to harness the power, probably heavily Earth / Sand based. Destruction - Arts and crafts and home economics.  Probably potions and magical weapons as well.   Yes, Destruction would have Defense against the Dark Arts.   Desire - Sex ed and lust potions.  Might eventually be forbidden from the first part.   Potions master but lots of dubious desire themed potions. Despair - Physical education.   And she'd be terrible at it too, but lots of students in despair will make her happy.  She might also teach hemomancy.   Blood based magicks.   Delirium - Theatre.   You would understand if you've ever taken drama class.  And possibly transfiguration.

Things change. And…well, I like the newer you, for what it’s worth.”

Chandler hesitated, feeling both touched and a little embarrassed. “Thanks. I think.” “So what is this, exactly? What are we all comfortable with?” Maya asked a bit timidly.

“I’m…okay with just…this, for now,” Chandler said quietly. “No offense to either of you.”

“Okay,” Maya agreed, and Crian nodded in consent. “Cuddling it is, then.” And she snuggled tighter into his side. Crian lowered himself back down as well, obliging with the contact. Chandler breathed a content sigh.
