the collage has this parking lot I've never actually walked through before, and they've got this giant, like probably 400ft long hedge running through it that's like 5 ft thick.

And I happened to walk through while playing Pokemon Go and guess what?

This entire fucking 400ft x 5ft hedge. Is entirely. 100%. Autumn olive. Or thortny olive. Whichever fucking one it is.

It was planted purposefully. For decoration. As a 400ft long hedge. On purpose.

do you know how this plant spreads?

Because it forms a ton of fruits that birds eat.

and someone, who knows how long ago, thought it would be a great fucking idea to take this invasive plant, and turn it into a massive fucking hedge longer than several schoolbusses put together, and put it next to a forest where birds and other animals that will eat the fruits and carry the seeds live.
