I do not watch bake off what did they do to germany last season?

My first guess would be some fucked up Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte (blackforest cake/pie)

Oh boy, if I recall correctly for German week the contestants had to make a yeasted cake for their showstopper. But in three tiers. And when the actual German contestant (jürgen, forever in my heart) told them that a stacked yeasted cake wasn’t something you’d see in Germany, Paul told him that they’d ‘anglicised it’ or some other nonsense like that. Also they had like 4 hours to make it.

Meine Oma backt Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte, aber nach eigenem Rezept. Viel besser als das Original. Sie ersetzt das Kirschwasser durch Redbull und die Sahne durch Voltaren forte. Anstatt Schokoraspeln kommen die bunten Zuckerperlen von der Benjamin Blümchen Törööö-Torte obendrauf. Kirschen ersetzt sie durch Mottenkugeln. Schmeckt einfach genial, da kommt das Original nicht ran.
