It makes me sad how so few people talk about Steins;Gate. Or rather, the parts they focus on are the cool time travel parts. Don’t get me wrong, those are great, but I just want to gush to someone about Okabe, Kurisu, and Mayuri: their exchanges, their motivations, the micro expressions in the animations…. And like, no one does.

Can anyone who’s played the Chaos;Child VN help a guy out? Early in chapter 2, there’s a computerized voice talking about the Sumo Stickers, it sounds an AWFUL lot like Defoko, the default voicebank that comes with the UTAU software. Does anyone know if it is? It’s driving me nuts but I can’t find anything online about it!

Why are all my teachers this semester vaguely useless at best and complete bad vibes at worst

#1) chem. useless teaching. enjoys students failing. giggles as he calls himself a pathological liar #also makes frequent typos and thinks you should just leave him be. even on tests #2) physics. the best of them. takes up hw every day which is good. actually nice. but teaching itself is kinda useless #3) adv functions. okay. useless teaching style and also nice but like. idk #4) comp sci. minimal AND useless teaching. comes off as kinda sexist. has a friend who supports andrew tate so um. yeah. #this is gonna be an interesting semester. its gonna kill me to do 2 sciences and a math already but the teachers do not help #ravi's randomness #school stuff

I’m a multiple paragraphs/novella style writer. I love to write detailed descriptions and delve into a character’s head/emotions as well as surroundings. I compare it to writing a novel together. Not every reply has to be novella length, however. If there are action or dialogue heavy scenes, I tend to do a shorter back and forth to keep the momentum going. 

I only do MxF (with me writing the female role). I don’t double, but I’m more than happy to write side characters of either gender to help move the story along. I only want female authors writing male characters as I’ve had bad experiences with cis male authors. (Trans men and nonbinary pals are exceptions).

I'm really hoping to find a friendship, someone who can add to our story, and most importantly, someone who wants a long-term connection. It's difficult for me to write with someone if I don't feel that genuine bond. It's also important to me to have a high level of activity, with at least one reply a day. 

If you suddenly stop replying ic and ooc, I'll drop the story after 2 attempts of gauging interest spaced a week apart. But feel free to message me if you want to pick the story back up again, even months later.

An excellent grasp of grammar, punctuation, spelling, and capitalization. (Literate to advanced writers only, please. I'm not looking for newbies)

Plot before smut. While mature themes will be in my writing, there needs to be chemistry between our characters. I normally do a 60/40 plot to smut ratio and my characters tend to be subs/switches depending on the circumstances 

 An older male character (early forties to mid-late fifties). I love the gruff and tough men with dark pasts who secretly have a soft heart. I also love grumpy, hypermasculine men being intimidated by sweet but fiery women. My characters are mid-late twenties to early-mid thirties so the age gap is legal. 

Enthusiasm to chat about our character and ship, how to crush them and then gushing over fluffy moments. I love crying over characters and what the heck they’re doing. I want my heart ripped from my chest from angst, then feeling like it’s going to burst from overwhelming cuteness. I want us to love these characters and the world we create. I want to make pinterest boards, spotify playlists, graphics, and toss headcanons back and forth until late at night. 

Have an idea for a scene? Found a picture that inspired you? Send it to me! Be invested when it comes to plotting/worldbuilding. There’s nothing worse than receiving one sentence in reply to two paragraphs of ideas, or having a doormat partner who says “sure” to whatever I ask. Building ideas one on top of the other, watching them snowball into amazing plot threads brings me joy. But having to pull plot ideas like I’m pulling teeth makes me think you’re not interested, and I will lose interest in return.

Hi everyone! 21 she/they 💌💌

I am looking for a simple long-term OC roleplay going on here. It's more character-driven than plot-driven. I want a rivalry and tension scenario between two intellectuals mxm (cis/trans welcome) in school college or work settings.

What I mean by this is that it can open to so many things: maybe they rivaled through chess, journal/literature works, science projects, acting shows, etc. We can come up with more together depending on what our OCs had in common. We can have the period be way further back in the old times, or maybe it's a sci-fi genre and it's very futuristic??

Either way, our OCs' dynamic need to significantly be a match. If your OC is well fleshed-out, then it's all the better! I need a character that can be competent, critical, daring, fiery or cold against mine. Characters who have questionable motives are welcome as well. I want your OC to not be afraid of my OC even outside public. Maybe they are meant to be doom in the narrative too lol.

I'm kind of treating this as a slow burn, with more focus on their build-up hatred as well as inserting dead dove elements like: toxic hookups, obsession, dubcon, violence etc. Triggers can be discussed together. I like for the smut to not took up the whole roleplay.

And for the love part? Yes, I also want that! Maybe they start to see eye to eye, or one of them took it too far and cause an external issue, or need saving and one of them took the other out somewhere safe? 😮 However the ratio will definitely be 70/30 between angst and fluff.

I am lit to adv-lit/novella so I want my partners to be in that area. Be 18+ please. I usually give a week for my partners to reply as well as to myself if I genuinely feel that I can't connect to it before I say something. I also only do it on discord.

Greetings. 28 yo writer seeking 21+ writers to write against my male oc.

Genre: Sci fi, drama/romance

Pairing: mxf - ocxoc

Additional info: adv lit, highly detailed, dark themes, high angst, mature content and subjects, use of vulgar language and intense violence. NSFW will not be the focus but will be included when it feels right and necessary. 

This requires writers who are comfortable character/world building and creating unique exciting aspects. 

About the OC:

He is a biologically engineered human who was once created with the intention of being used a weapon of war upon maturity. But his creators decide to spare their successful creation and formulate a plan to save the human before the government is able to step in. 

The plot however will be set in present modern time, just as he reaches his 24th birthday. He knows little about his past but has managed to piece some notion of what his use was. He later learns there are others like him and that the government has initiated a hunt for his kind. 

I’m seeking a writing partner who perhaps bring on a oc that could serve as an interesting love interest but also a character that will help support the development of his humanness and emotions - as he seems to lack both in some ways. 

I’m eager to find someone with a unique perspective and capable of contributing their own style and ideas to this. Also, welcome the use of unconventional realistic muses for these characters, perhaps even would love a poc to play against my character, as I don't see that enough.  Of course I’ve established the appearance of my oc already and also have fleshed out more details on him and his bg that can be further discussed.
