Avengers Doing the Dishes Headcanons
Tony: Doesn't wash dishes. Makes a super high-tech dishwasher instead.
Steve: Washes up even when it's not his turn. Wears marigolds and complains about people not scraping their plates properly (Clint).
Thor: Always volunteers. Always breaks stuff. Everyone pretends to forget the rota when it's his day to clean.
Bruce: Quick and efficient, never complains. Has to be excused when his hands get too shaky after a Hulk-out.
Natasha: Washes up like each piece of cutlery has personally offended her. She's never dropped a slippery knife, though.
Sam: Washes up like a normal person, what is with you people? Enjoys heckling whoever’s turn it is to dry. It’s usually Bucky.
Bucky: Can spin plates really fast with his metal hand to dry them. Sometimes forgets his strength and bends all the forks. Steve quietly straightens them out again. All the cutlery is kinda dented.
Clint: Enjoys throwing things into the sink from a distance. Never misses, but often breaks a plate. Always gets a ton of water on his clothes.
Pietro: Almost never washes dishes, despite being able to do it in half the time.
Wanda: Tries to wash dishes with magic. Looks impressive, but takes a lot longer.
Vision: Beams off the dirt with his face laser. Effective, but leaves an unpleasant burnt smell afterwards.
Loki: Creates an illusion of himself doing the dishes when he's actually reading a book upstairs.
Scott: Can't wash dishes without some music to sing along to. Gets bored halfway through, shrinks and takes a nap on the sponge floating in the water. Almost drowned once when Nata accidentally threw a spoon at him.
Peter P: Always seems to have a homework assignment due. What a shame.
Shang-Chi and Katy: Yes, they could wash up. Or...

- “I’m a superhero y/n. I can save you from a tiny– oHH MY FUCKING GOD THATS A HUGE SPIDER-”

- And if you want to he’ll let you control the ants
- Eventually you become comfortable with ants. He can get any other bugs out of the house

- One day Cassie needs you to get a praying mantis that some how got into her room and Scott isn’t home

- You are sitting on one of Cassie’s little plastic chairs (those things are seriously sturdy he doesn’t even know how but they are) in a tiara and a tutu
- “What’s goin’ on here?” He’d ask
- “Me and y/n/n are having a teaparty in honor of y/n/n ‘s bravery!”
- “Is that right?”
- “Mhm. y/p took a bug outside without you!”
- “Oh yeah?” He’d look at you with a look of surprise on his face.
- “Yep. I’m no longer afraid!” You’d proudly exclaim.
- You and Cassie drag him into it
- Now he’s sitting across from mr. snugglebun, Cassie’s pink teddy bear, is sitting across from him and he’s wearing a princess dress that is waay to small for him and a tiara and Cassie’s doing his makeup while you paint his nails
- He can’t help the smile on his face though. Even if he may look a bit silly, he couldn’t care less. :’]

*pulls up soapbox and stands on it with my bullhorn*
I cannot and will not get behind Scott being totally against Tony. I don’t care what you say, Scott Lang and Tony Stark would be the bestest best friends after Luis of course and they would tell Dad jokes and build stuff together.
I cannot and will not get behind any headcanon where Scott is an academic idiot. Among other attributes, the man has a canonically high IQ, a masters in electrical engineering, and an excellent working knowledge of quantum mechanics to save the universe. You can be wicked smart and a goofball at the same time!
Continuing with the previous bullet point, there is a deleted scene from Ant-Man where Hank explains to Hope that the security system they’re going up against computes a new combination to crack every 1.5 seconds. Scott broke past it because he was able to read the pattern and predict what combination came next! (start @ 4:06) I don’t care if it’s a deleted scene, that’s canon for me! Yes, Hank and Hope still doubted Scott’s intellect despite that, but hey, they’re wrong too! Scott deserves to be in the same room as Tony and Bruce. Period.
When Quantumania leaks started popping up, it was suggested Scott would ignore Cassie for his fame, and some people ran with it. C’mon, guys. There’s no way! Let’s not forget the whole reason why Scott did everything in Ant-Man in the first place: Cassie. Sure, maybe the hype over him got to his head for a bit, but he wouldn’t just ignore her or shove her aside. No way.
Also, can we please drop all the hate on Maggie from during Ant-Man? She was doing her best for Cassie too, okay? And she was hurt by everything that happened too. She lost her husband and best friend, and she became a single mother real quick. She had stuff to work through too. And obviously, she and Scott are on much better terms, so time to drop it.
And Jim and Scott are on better terms now too, so let’s drop the headcanon that Jim hates Scott and stuff too. Let it go.
((I think that’s it over all. That’s all I can think of right now anyway lol. Most of the headcanons are alright, but these are like big nuh uhs to me))

What are your personal theories/hcs on Shuri's future interactions with the other avengers?
This is a brainracker, especially since the Avengers rooster has been flipped upside down and switched out with new blood. However, I think I can answer for a few.
▪︎ Princess Shuri and Peter Parker (Spider-Man)
I think this, by far, is the easiest answer to give. I think Shuri and Peter would click the fastest and the most seamless. Their character arcs entirely mirror.
Not only do they start out similar (quippy, mentored science geeks with more light-hearted, slow-to-anger personalities), they are taken down a path of loss, grief, vengeance, and near-consuming anger. Both were protagonists to their own "coming of age" movie.
Pair this up with their admirable brilliance and skill in technological design. Spider-Man also shares similarity to Riri Williams, and we saw how Shuri near immediately clicked with her.
They even get along in the comics, with an almost amusing brotherly-sisterly dynamic. Honestly, Shuri just overall gets along with Spider-men.
There is no doubt in my mind that they'll immediately snap together like magnets. A comfortable relationship where they don't need many words, and when they do speak, they instantly understand the other.
▪︎ Princess Shuri and Bucky Barnes (Winter Soldier)
Does Bucky count? If so, I would think their personal interaction would be positive, for the most part. They are already friends and bonded in Wakanda, with her at his side nursing him.
They have an amiable relationship. Yheir end-credit scene indisputably shows that. He was even named, "The White Wolf."
However, I think he will be in the Thunderbolts, a team employed by Valentina Allegra de Fontaine (her favorite colonizer's good for nothing ex-wife), undertaking tasks for the United States Government and CIA.
You know... The same people who sought to destablize Wakanda (Shuri's nation) and take Riri Williams (Shuri's bestie)?
They will very much be on opposite sides. I think Bucky will be immensely torn, maybe Shuri hurt.
▪︎ Princess Shuri and Scott Lang
In the Wakanda Files book, Shuri is quite envious of Lang and Pym's excursions in the Quantum Realm. She states this in her Kimoyo logs.
I feel like she'd definitely pick his brain if given the chance, maybe ask for Hank's digits for discussion. There would be some respect (not only for his groundbreaking advancements, but the way he operates for the love of his family) jealousy, and want for collaboration (something Shuri expresses several times in the files, like with mourning Iron-Man and feeling sad that she cannot do so with him) there.
Shuri also flexes how she, Wakanda, can do things better in both Wakanda Files and virtually all of her appearances. So I can imagine her fixing or improving something of his.
Lang is also kind of goofy, so I'm interested how tha5'll play
▪︎ Princess Shuri and Sam Wilson
Funny enough, the panther siblings don't quite get along with Sam Wilson in the comics. So if they ever take any note from that, they won't be frolicking in a field of flowers hand-in-hand.
While MCU proven time and time again, butting heads on political issues or on the principle of their nationality difference (Shuri is Wakandan, Sam is American. It's been shown that Shuri can have awkwardness or a difference with American characters, from Riri to Ross) seems very much viable. It is foreshadowed that Wakanda will be at war with surface nations, primary ones being France and the United States of America. Sam is now Captain America, that is the mantle he bears.
I don't think it will be too great of a rift, though. I would presume temporary conflict and challenge. He is friends with Bucky, Sam makes an effort for social change (identifying the problems in America himself in Falcon and The Winter Soldier) so I doubt he'd be for the corruption, and they have been on the same side before.
Now I'm not sure if Shuri will become a common, frequent, or permanent member of the Avengers, even if T'Challa was more or less one in the comicbooks (she is not T'Challa and these are not the comics). However, I can expect collaboration. They already collaborated before, and Shuri is the kind of character who can easily be a team player. She enjoys collaboration, is a teacher, leads two programs, and has a slow-to-anger, perceptive personality.
Additionally, she worked with previous Avengers founding members, and Wakanda garnered the development of outreaching to those outside of them who are in misfortune. I would think it'd be optimal and easy for her to work with them, maybe even serve as a temporary member for the time being.
I may add further onto this later (Dr. Strange, She-Hulk, and Shang-Chi). Thanks for the ask!

I'm looking for a roleplay partner that's interested in casual ("illiterate") roleplay as well as longer, literate stuff. When I roleplay, I like to headcanon and then maybe go into some casual stuff that gradually gets longer/more involved. It's easier for me to get excited about something when there's no hard expectations for what it has to be. I have been roleplaying for 12 years.
ALSO: I'm 24, almost 25, and would prefer to roleplay with people over the age of 21.
I like a variety of stuff, like criminal minds, OFMD, dragon age, game of thrones, the witcher, etc etc (just ask!!!). I usually prefer m/m and f/f ships.
I love writing and it's a passionate hobby of mine, but my partner recently decided to stop and I'm just on the hunt for someone who is as interested in this hobby as I am.
Obviously, I want to be able to speak to my partner like a friend, be able to share HCs and such with them and so on (mainly looking for someone who doesn't dislike talking ooc).

so she definitely gets so excited when steve explains halloween to her: “get to dress up? anything i want? and- and get candy too??” 🥺 she’s a little overwhelmed at the thought of anything she wants, so steve suggests maybe she goes as a character from a favorite movie or show. but then peter mentions she could go as a superhero, and she’s immediately set on “i wanna go as daddy” 🥺😭 so she gets the coolest little captain america costume and steve even gets a custom little shield made for her 🥺🥺 and bucky decides to come along with steve and her for trick-or-treating and they end up going as thor (steve) and spider man (bucky) and buck’s such a good sport about it even tho he thinks spider man’s really a little shit hehe 🥺 and thor borrows steve the hammer ‘cause he can lift it 😎 they don’t go trick-or-treating at home, instead they go to the tower bc the whole tower has a thing setup where employees kids can go around and trick-or-treat on different floors. and on the top floor willa’s friends are all dressed as characters from her favorite shows and movies 🥺🥺🥺 wanda is princess belle and nat is princess ariel. thor and peter are nemo (peter) and dory (thor.) clint’s there and he brings lilah and they’re Steve (clint) and blue (lilah) from blue’s clues. bruce is olaf from frozen. sam comes and he’s big bird from sesame street. carol comes and she’s tinker bell. Quantumania spoilers below the cut!!!!!!!
this is going to be so messy and maybe not make that much sense but here are my thoughts
my main takeaways from this movie are 1: Scott Lang is a good dad 2: Hope is a cool stepmom 3: the Kangs are all comin and the MCU is in troubleeeeeee and 4: Cassie Lang is a sapphic. did you see the way that girl looked at Jentorra. I’m hc-ing her as either lesbian or bi.
also am I the only one absurdly happy that Hank and Janet get featured in scenes so much??? like with the MCU and I would say actually action movies in general, it’s commonly the Gen Xers and below who get all the action but Janet and Hank are older and still utter badasses and I love that honestly
KANG IS A FUCKING EPIC VILLAIN. kinda sad that he died honestly, and now everykang else is approaching our main timeline… this does not give hopeful feelings for the heroes in the near future
Veb is adorable I love him. also like that he’s played by the Baba Yaga guy.
Jentorra’s really cool! I want to be her when I grow up. She reminds me of Valkyrie.
I have this random theory that maybe Scott didn’t actually make it out of the quantum realm at the end, but maybe the ants kind of picked up on how devastated he was to never see Cassie again and made a whole version of reality like a hologram or smth inside the quantum realm to give the illusion that he’s with his family. idk that was just something I thought of that could explain the slightly cliche ending
Young Avengers movie when??????????? just off the top of my head we have Peter, Harley, Cassie, Kamala, America, Shuri and Elijah Bradley already in the MCU we just. need a reason for them all to come together and kick ass.
I know we all screamed when we saw Loki in the end credit scene but my brain malfunctioned and I just went “Tom Hiddleston is in this? Okay” before I saw Mobius and I was like “oh. oh right, Loki”

✘ - what do other people tend to get wrong about your character?
He's not.... That dumb. Actually, let me clarify. I firmly believe Clint is one of the most clever people on the goddamn planet. A lot of what he does is a play or a facade that, if you were to pair it with his best feats and skills, make him lowkey terrifying. He's easily the most resourceful Avenger on his best day, and his aptitude for math, chemistry, and electrical engineering (think more Scott Lang and less Tony Stark) is outstanding. But I also hc he's dyslexic as FUCK and God knows the boy has ADHD seeping out of every pore. It doesn't affect him in most combat encounters, luckily, but in day to day conversation, he definitely doesn't show his smarts.

first off I changed my bio for YOU babe
second here’s some silly lil hcs (aka a fucking fic outline bc I have no restraint)
PRISON ERA
-luis starts a rumor in prison that scott is his boyfriend so no one messes with him. everyone calls scott luis’ boyfriend to his face and he just thinks they’re joking bc they spend so much time together
-luis gets in the habit of chattering softly as mock white noise to lull scotty to sleep. sometimes he’ll hang his hand over the side of his bunk and scott will reach up to hold it
-luis mentions his birthday in passing thinking scott doesn’t actually listen to him, just to wake up a few months later to a present scott spent weeks saving for
-on the bad days, when luis feels like there’s no point and doesn’t say a word for hours, scott will climb up and pull him into his arms like he would cassie after a nightmare
-scott spends the whole night before luis is released awake bc he knows once he closes his eyes it’ll be time to say goodbye, and he doesn’t know if he’ll ever hear his voice again
-a week later he gets a three page letter and twenty dollars in his account and all his fears are gone
AFTER PRISON
-kurt and dave (having heard the bf rumor) ask luis why he doesn’t even hold scott’s hand. is he embarrassed or something like wtf
-when they move in together they sneak into each other’s rooms at night bc they miss sleeping in the same space
-movie nights where they wake up pressed chest to chest, breathing in sync, and don’t talk about it in the morning
-cassie tells jim and maggie all about “daddy’s boy friend” to the point where maggie asks scott why he’s not engaged yet
-scott and luis taking a trip to mexico to the family restaurant and listening to morrissey on repeat on the jukebox. everyone in luis’ family telling scott how this is the happiest they’ve ever seen luis
-scott watching luis make flower crowns with cassie and realizing “oh fuck. oh my god. I’m in love with luis”
-scott goes on a three day bender where he won’t talk to anyone and when he comes back he’s standing in the middle of the kitchen waiting for luis with a smoothie machine (bc it’s why luis went to jail and what brought them together) and he asks luis to marry him
- “scotty I love you man but aren’t you supposed to start with dating” “we’ve been dating for like five years” “then why’d you cheat on me with hope” “luis i was trying to be romantic are we going to waste time arguing or you gonna get over here and kiss me” “second one. definitely the second one”
