For your WIP/Sunday Scaries meme! "Your Kensei/Hisagi maybe? Onesided?"

Hello! This is one I juuuust have the very start of, because I haven't quite decided what direction to take it in. It mostly focuses on Kensei wanting Hisagi and having Very Complicated Feelings About That Fact while Hisagi is totally oblivious I think. Obviously he can't do anything about it while Hisagi is in his chain of command, but any suggestion of a transfer is outright rejected and where would Hisagi go, anyway? Meanwhile Hisagi is just out there walking around with Kensei's mark on his face driving Kensei insane. There's also a lot of complicated concerns about hero worship and power dynamics etc. obviously. I'm not actively working on this one but I hope to pick it back up once I get a better idea of where to take it.

Three ships? - Stiles/Derek, Barnaby/Kotetsu, Trevor/Alucard

First ever ship? - Well, my very first fandom to be active in was Teen Wolf and Sterek specifically. But my first “I’m here for it” ship was probably Han/Leia.

Last song? - Montgomery Gentry, “Hell Yeah.”

Last movie? - Strange World, which was like...exactly my aesthetic, holy shit. Pseudo-modern fantasy aetherpunk type story crossed with an adventure serial vibe, as a family of explorers venture deep underground to find out what’s killing off the plant that powers literally their entire civilization. God, so much fun. I’ve watched it twice.

Currently reading? - I just yesterday finished a novel from Harlequin’s Love Inspired Suspense line, which was called Covert Amish Christmas. I bought it for 75 cents at a thrift store and highly anticipated something more ridiculous than I got. The thriller aspects were fairly entertaining, although I got tired of reading the 2 mains trekking through the Montana winter as they tried to outrun the dudes trying to kill them, especially as they both got more and more injured to the point that it didn’t just strain credulity, but flat-out snapped it. Plus, the romance was very bland. I’m also mostly through Montana Sky by Nora Roberts, which is definitely a product of its time (mid-90s romance) but holy shit, the writing is solid and the descriptions are absolutely fuckin’ amazing, and I love the three sisters slowly becoming sisters. I had to stop reading last summer, however, because it’s a romantic suspense and the suspense parts are dark, which was not great when my reading time was right before bed (mmm nightmares, no thank you). I do very much want to finish it, though. Just...when it’s daylight. XD

Currently watching? - Bread, Love, and Dreams, which is a K-drama that is ostensibly about baking bread and mostly about one young man (Takgu) being kept away from the inheritance that is rightfully his because he was born to his father’s mistress. We’re 8 episodes in and I’m enjoying the hell out of it so far. Also damn, it makes me want to bake ALL the things.

Currently consuming? - Lemon ginger tea, because it is cold outside and my throat is scratchy.

Currently craving? - A bubble bath.
