okay but like can we talk about Blitz and Fizzarolli for a sec here??

when they meet eachother they IMMEDIATLY started arguing which make sense cuz lack of communication and calling eachother by names ectect and Fizzarolli acts all arrogant in a good way to annoy Blitz until he tackles him and they start a fight , get kidnapped yada yada and even THEN they start to argue and avoid touching eachother

even when Striker THREATENS them and they crash into eachother they still comedically seperate

he asks with smug like "do you want me to get you out of here" which of course Fizzarolli agrees and they make the EPIC escape

his first reaction was "fucking showoff" which is reasonable but still yk then EVEN when their LIFES were at sake they were still arguing

THEN comes where they explained themselves , the whole reconciliation scene

and when Fizzarolli accuses him of being jealous and making him into a robot in the process he looks so HURT BECAUSE BLITZO SPENT FIFTEEN YEARS BELIEVING FIZZAROLLI HATED HIS GUTS AND WANTED NOTHING TO DO W/ HIM WHICH WAS A LIE AND HIS SISTER HATING HIM TILL THIS DAY FOR THE INCIDENT AND IM SO BBING

and he apologizes , he explains his part , how he was scared and went for help , he even apologized to Fizzarolli , admitting he was wrong then Fizzarolli barates him for not visiting him and Blitzo explaining that his worker wont let him and all that and they look at each other as in like "was it that obvious?" like their hatred for eachother was so obvious that others noticed

this is my first (finished) fic lol

You sat on the couch in Mammon's room, hand playing mindlessly in his hair. The demon himself sat on the floor between your legs playing on his D.D.D.

The sound notification for a text message rang out. You hadn't meant to look- truly- but your eyes naturally glanced to the source of the disturbance. Mammon opened the text and closed out of the app just as quickly, but you knew what you saw.

"Mammon?" Your voice was cold, emotionless. Your hand rested still on the top of his head.

"Y-yeah?"

"Open that chat for me." It wasn't a command, but Mammon complied nonetheless. You stretched your arm beside him palm up, beckoning him to place the phone in your hand.

He sat in ashamed silence as you scrolled through the group chat amongst him and his brothers. For minutes on end you scrolled through the logs, normal conversations littered amongst compromising pictures of yourself. Pantyshots, pictures of your ass as you bent down to grab something or leaned across a table, multiple of you asleep in someone's lap with your shirt unbuttoned farther down than you would ever normally wear it- they didn't seem to end.

Mammon could feel your rage growing by the second. The camera shuttering of screenshots broke him from his taciturn state. "Hey, it's not what it looks like, we were-"

"What it looks like, is that you and your brothers have been taking advantage of the trust I've placed in you to perve on me."

He went to stand, to face you or to run away, you did not know. You didn't really care, either.

"Stay."

The shock of the command forced him down and he let out a small "oof."

"Tell me. Who else has seen these. Who else has been involved," your tone remained unchanged, cold, calculating, emotionless.

Mammon had no choice to obey this command and began speaking before he could put the words together in his mind.

"I've sold a few, digital and print. I know Levi has some edited on one of his freak anime forums. Lucifer'll get a lil 'showoff-y' with 'em when he's plastered. Belphie definitely keeps records of some of your dreams. I don't- I dunno if the rest do anythin' with 'em outside a that. C'mon, MC, it's not that bad, just hear me out-" his rambling gets faster towards the end before you cut him off again.

"Ah." It comes out as a whisper, all the assertiveness of earlier drained from you. You maneuver your legs behind Mammon and stand from the couch, walking for the door.

"Hey, couldja at least lift the command b'fore ya walk away?!" Mammon shouted after you.

You paused in the doorway and turned to look at him. "Fine," you replied, and slammed the door shut.

Mammon could feel the heavy weight keeping him in place lift. Control returned to his limbs and he breathed out a sigh of relief. Not a moment later, he felt the block you placed on your pact bond; it was like a knot tied into the string of fate that bound the two of you together, halting the vibrations from reaching the other end.

Today's gameplay progress:

I made more progress with the main scenario of Endwalker! Specifically, I believe I've now finished all of the level 80 quests, so whenever I next log on I'll be able to unlock the level 81 dungeon

..I cannot remember how long it's been since I posted class levels, but I'm currently level 87 as a black mage, summoner, and dancer, then level 85 as a reaper (so.. I should probably swap to that while I'm doing these story quests to get it levelled up more, oops). Thankfully, since I'm now a level 90 dark knight, all these jobs will be getting the armoury bonus.

To get through some of my rested experience, I also spent some time levelling up blue mage by playing a very risky but fun "stealth game" of sorts with the Tempest's clionids and deep-sea leeches. So now I'm level 70 as one, which is tied with machinist and only one or two levels behind red mage!~

I changed Lorenza's Endwalker outfit slightly! I do still quite like her old one, but I think it might make more sense for it to purely be for 5.4 and 5.5(5) - a short-term showoff of a power she had stolen on the First, but nothing more. This is what the new one now looks like (featuring Alphinaud and Alisaie in new outfits of their own)!

You may notice I said main Endwalker outfit up above - I think this sort of attire would work well for general conditions, perhaps being sufficient for cold weather as well, but it may be slightly too much to have on in overly hot climates - like those of Thavnair, for example! I realised that the top piece of my summoner glamour matched the style that a lot of the NPCs were wearing, so I switched into it (though remained playing as a black mage) while I was there, which was a fun change to go back to. Here are some screenshots of that one!

This outfit shows off Lorenza's lower head feathers, which is fun, but the crimson vest she's wearing in her main outfit doesn't show bracelets, (which these are tied to) - and I can't figure out how to get it to show bracelets, so I may just hand-wave that by saying they aren't present yet.

(I also haven't decided if I'll give her a third, extra, outfit for the extreme cold of Garlemald yet - I know it's bad enough there that most of the Scions themselves get new outfits, so I might try and think of something.)

Other than getting lost in glamour hell, I also powered through the Minstrel's Ballad: Ultima's Bane by myself and promptly unlocked some savage Coils of Bahamut I'd completely forgotten existed. This was a good source of second chance points for my Wondrous Tails of this week (until I got stuck on Na'el), but I still don't have any lines yet, despite several shuffles.

That's about all I can think of for today!

ep12: why doesn't anyone ever gif the manure scene?

I had such a great time watching this episode. it may be one of my favorites. it's funny. there's important relationship beats between the wens and wwx. there's drama. there's foreshadowing. the kids are not having a good time, but it's not so dire as to be painful to watch. lwj being wounded adds a flair to his character. and it has some nice wwx moments

I read somewhere that wwx reciting the lan rules was like an injoke to the rest of the kids - they all shared this experience together than wen chao didn't. it's a reminder of a happier time, a reminder that they're all in this together. it makes jc roll his eyes, but jzx fights a smile

see, wwx complained about CR being strict and unfair, and it was, but they weren't at risk of this kind of physical violence or threats against their family. the food was apparently good. the lans were highly respected and the students learned important lessons about cultivation. although it seemed stressful at the time, it was probably the last extended period of time they were all safe and in a stable position. I mean, compared to being at the mercy of wen chao? man's a maniac. in CR they got to go to lantern festivals and weren't locked in their quarters

Pokemon Journeys Episode 100

First off let's start off with that OP because holy shit that was amazing! So much nostalgia seeing old Pokemon, Companions, and Rivals. And seeing Ash turn the cap around as he threw the gigantamax ball was just perfect! And finding out that this opening will be slightly different each week is just the cherry on top as that means we'll likely see even more callbacks (which means more of me screaming on Friday mornings before work) Now to the actual episode itself. First off, RIP to everyone who wanted that Infernape to be Ash's (like myself, and yes I was aware beforehand that it would be Flint's but it still doesn't make it any less sad). That being said it was cool to see Flint back since we know both him and Volkner were big influences on Ash in the later portions of the DP Saga. Especially seeing him actually in the masters 8 (once 7th, then 8th after losing to Leon). That was actually surprising but that makes the potential final lineup for the masters 8 even more interesting since for the most part, I think we were all expecting league champions and Raihan (who is confirmed to be champion level). It was also rather refreshing to see Leon battle someone without Gigantamax as it shows that he doesn't have to rely on the Dynamax mechanic to win (like many Leon detractors in the anime like to claim). And of course, we see Leon's sportsmanship is on display, again showing he's far more than this cocky showoff that some like to see him as. It was also super nice to see the kids at the beginning of the episode recognize Ash. As someone who got into the Pokemon through the anime (back in the OS days) it always warms my heart to see Ash get some recognition for his strength. Also, I really enjoyed seeing Leon interact with his fans. Taking pictures, signing autographs, letting little kids on his biceps/shoulders it was really adorable to see him taking all that time to make sure his fans were happy. It just really shows kind he is But getting to see Ash and Leon just hang out for an entire episode was absolutely the highlight of the episode. I always love it when we can see the humans bond with each other and just seeing such a playful side to Leon was just an absolute treat. I love how the training was actually a nice mix of play but him actually doing some techniques that would undoubtedly strengthen his Pokemon. Many would assume that some of his caliber would have a super strict, serious regimen so seeing his training focus more on bonding and having fun. We really get to see the parallels between Leon and Ash, both being Pokemon freaks who just get super excited when they see Pokemon (as said by Sonia and Goh). And how reckless they both can be when it comes to Pokemon in need between Ash jumping after the Rookidee and Leon...taking his shirt off to calm a Corviknight in mid air. Both Ash and Leon even mention their parallels and you can see they've both bonded by the time the episode ends. This episode will definitely give their actual battle that emotional feel we saw with Kukui and Ash's match at the end of the Sun and Moon series I also really liked seeing Goh and Sonia hanging, though I definitely understand those who wanted to seem them hang out more and would've wanted this episode to be a two parter so that the two could do things other than focus on talking about Leon and Ash. That being said it was really nice to see Sonia shed some light onto Leon for Goh. Learning that Leon didn't have many friends growing up because he was too busy doing chores or making care of his little brother was really sad to hear honestly. Like it really drives home that between Leon's home life and then his life as a champion in some ways he's always been forced to be this pillar of strength which has kept him from making genuine connections. That being said, Sonia does say that his world has opened up ever since he got his Charmander Also yay for the Hop mention. Granted it would've been nicer for Leon to mention his own brother rather than Sonia but I will take any scrap of acknowledgement at this point. I'm still hopeful that he will appear! Finally, I want to talk about how much I loved Ash and Leon's talk about what's it like being champion. Now to clarify, it's not like the writers forgot that Ash himself was a champion. But there's a slight difference from Ash's title and Leon's title as both Galar champ and world Monarch in how they have to carry out their duties (as in Ash really doesn't have any duties for Alola, where Leon has plenty for Galar). I really liked how we got to see Leon have a moment of vulnerability and express his fear about staying stagnant and not getting stronger because he had never lost a battle. How he mentions that while he was frustrated with being helpless in the Eternatus fight that it thrilled him to know that there were others who were better than him and that he could still keep getting stronger. It's nice to see how he has such a grounded attitude about failure. Overall this was a really great episode!
