Opinion: I absolutely love this ship and I am unashamed about it. It's not a ship which is universally applicable and it only works under very specific circumstances. However, those specific circumstances are a lot of fun.

Three strong personalities who are unwilling to show any backbone under any circumstance? Iconic. Selina's strength in both mind and body? Edward's quick wit and intelligence? Crane's unparalleled expertise and perception? Utterly delightful. Their various moral stances and attitudes lead to a synergy which can switch to friction at the drop of a hat and it's amazing.

Who is the most affectionate?

I think they're kinda tied in this regard. They're all quite affectionate with each other when they want to be. But ultimately I have too say Edward by a slight margin.

What’s the first thing that changes when they realize they have feelings for the other?

Jonathan spent half the day pondering the prospect, Edward had a panic attack, and Selina uh, went on a cross-country road trip and when she came back she called them both to her house and kissed them both.

Jonathan had already accepted this was his life now, and Edward had to take a moment.

Who wants to stay in bed just a little longer?

Jonathan and Selina will physically pull Edward back into bed with them if they have to.

Who needs more assurance?

Edward generally needs the most assurance unless Jonathan's feeling particularly low.

“What is that god-awful stench?” It was a rather ridiculous question for Edward to ask, given that he was standing beside an open sarcophagus in the tomb that had not been opened in, clearly, quite a long time. 

“Might be the corpse.” Selina’s voice drawled out from behind him as she moved closer, leaning against him to get a better look at the body - or, more likely, the gold that the body was adorned with. “I doubt they smell good after a couple thousand years.”

“Or, better yet, maybe you’re just finally becoming self-aware?” Selina’s laughter broke the awed silence as Edward began to protest, his flashlight beam spinning around to situate on Jonathan’s face, which wore the smuggest look he had seen in a long time. Naturally, leave it to Jonathan to manage to still insult Edward, even in light of their discovery.

Scriddlecat optimistic horror au.

Jonathan takes the first watch that night, letting his partners get some much-needed rest as he positions himself by the window, ready to send a bullet into the head of any walker that gets close. There aren’t as many as there used to be, natural decay, the elements, and other surviving humans eliminating most of them. Still, Jonathan thinks as he spots one by the front of their makeshift home, even one getting close to him, Edward and Selina is one too many.
