Mkay so this may be partially based on my own modded gameplay where slugpups actually climb poles and scavengers will actually try to save me and my pups without hitting us in the process

I mean, the scavengers were still super helpful to me in my unmodded gameplay too (if we’re being real I love the little guys), but slugpups just straight-up cannot climb poles apparently. At least in my experience. Who says I can’t make my slugpups a bit more mobile in my comics though? We’re just here to have fun lol

And by fun I mean narrative-friendly suffering

Also I improved on drawing scavs a little bit I think! Although there are still a ton of other mistakes... Why did I not put the poles in the first frame? Why is Warden's tail so thin in the first frame? Why does the real pole just disappear after the other pole is shown to be a pole plant? Why doesn't Warden look more shocked when he realized Minstrel was climbing a pole plant? And why the heck does he just immediately go to patting her head once he's on the ground, I mean seriously, it'd be a lot better to have him like... Immediately cling onto her- Man I really have a lot to improve on TwT This is sort of my first webcomic that I've managed to make a second part on though, because for the first time ever the motivation fairy didn't say no, so uh- At least there's that -w-;

#neo toku #my art #my ocs #tokusatsu oc #mentioned it in the tags for ruriko but hayato's basically her ''secondary rider'' - being ant themed to parallel her bee theming #he's essentially the sibling that stayed loyal to the family business and is like. #the poster child of the corporation their dad runs #he also joined the military as a young adult (the twins are around 26-27ish now) so has a kind of soldier mentality #always following orders - which makes him GREAT for getting in ruriko-as-stinger's way and the PERFECT corpo JUMP user #they'd both use the same belt to transform (hence similar cards - the card backs are visible through 3 view holes which show SNR for stinge #and SDR for soldier) - having been intended by their father to be a duo like he and his partner back in the 70s #i guess they're kind of like the heisei riders to their dad's and partner's showa riders?? #anyway. hayato has issues and it takes him most of the story to get over them and break off from his shitty billionaire dad
