Back in winter 2022 I started working on a comic of one of my favorite nsfw oneshots, Practical Demonstration, made like five pages, and then promptly dropped it cause I was still in the midst of Art Block From Hell, among other reasons

but the fic series recently got an update and I read it on a flight last week, which has renewed the brainworms :)

The comic's FAR from finished (I've thumbnailed the entire thing and it comes out to twenty-eight pages, while I have thirteen of those pages in varying stages of completion) but I've been having a lot of fun working on it and forcing myself to try and learn new things (backgrounds/environments, in this case) in the pursuit of Harvey Smut LOL

I thought I'd post some WIP shit here, in case ADHD gets my ass and I end up dropping it again 😭 pray for me

obviously he’d be a doting boyfriend 24/7, but if you fell sick?? ohh boy dr. boyfriend is in the house !!

it’s no surprise that he knows all of your favourite foods, and is more than happy to cook up some hearty soup or a tea to help soothe your body and soul (i.e., his 14 heart event)

he’s trying so so hard to be calm, because he Knows that you’re going to be okay, but harvey is such a nervous baby :(( just wants to be by your side to look after you (he wanted to ask you to occupy one of the beds at the clinic, but was worried that the suggestion would sound over-protective)

since he can’t be by your side 24/7, harvey is 100% the type to leave encouraging messages and doodles on post-it notes around the house:

eager to help you with your medication schedule, and to make sure you’re taking their medicine as prescribed (doctors orders!!)

LOVES being able to give you massages if you ask, it may not help your illness medically-speaking, it certainly makes you feel better <3

his nerves would go into overdrive if you attempted to get out of bed to keep up with the farm work, he can take care of it !!

(at least, he can try... harvey has been helping you out around the farm for a while now, so you’d trust him to take care of the chores)

as soon as you’re back to full health, your first priority is figuring out how to make your amazing boyfriend feel as cared for as you did 🥺

very recrnly got into stardew valley. I want some Harvey x reader fics But I don’t wanna peg the doctor (sorry)

I wanna run my fingers through his hair. Hair that has began to gray at his sides to early for having just turned 32 but understandable as the poor man can’t help the worry lines that have only begun to deepen and crease his features.

He lays on an old worn couch in the farm house, long limbs awkwardly hanging off the armrest ungracefully, and it feels like a monumental victory after having spent what feels like years trying to help him be comfortable enough to even just slouch when he sits.

Knuckles run along his jaw feeling the way he has let scruff grow there that I’m sure will be gone early in the morning. still I run my fingers gently up and down his chin feeling the whiskers and giggling at the way his cheeks become warm.

My hair becomes like a curtain as I lean over and press a kiss to his hairline inhaling antiseptic and rubbing alcohol and the faintest hint of salt from where I am sure he had dabbed at his forehead with a handkerchief multiple times that day.

Lips linger brushing against his skin as whispered encouragement is shared. One hand resting against his chest, no longer clad by a tie and vest he only dons his button up and undershirt as words that are sweet in sentiment but intimate in a way that is wholly innocent are shared. His face flush from the words he’s heard infrequently. Phrases of encouragement and praise and gratitude. His hand rises to cup my cheek his thumb running back and forth against skin that has warmed from considerable time under the sun.

Turning my head to kiss his palm. His only sound being an exhale as his eyes flutter shut, and I know what he means exactly so I lay back and rest our hands on his chest. I keep running my fingers through his hair.

Idk I just want fluffy domesticity with the town doctor.

Idk what this was meant to be. I just love thinking about him.

Might rewrite this as an x reader lol if I can work up the courage
