How your character might react to the sdve bachelors and bachelorettes after they wake up after having a nightmare(s)
just to make sure this is clear this headcanon list is about the farmer (you/ your character) being awoken after the bachelors/ bachelorettes have a nightmare/ nightmares
Spoliers: Victor, Spohia, Olivia Warnings: mentions of death and war-related nightmares/trauma (possibly)
Batchelor's:
Lance: With working with the Stardew Valley Guild and the First Slash as well it probably does have its unfortunate share of dangerous and scary things. Some of them even make their way into his memories and dreams. There have been a few nights out of the year when he stayed and your house or he stayed at yours. (or maybe you started at the first slash guild hall like you do for his 10 heart event.) When you feel Lance stir in his sleep or completely sit up straight in bed. You can't help but worry and be a bit surprised when it happens. If you don't wake up Lance tries to go back to sleep without you knowing. He doesn't want you to ever see him as weak. Or ruin that image of someone who is very confident that he's worked hard to build. However, if you do catch him waking from a nightmare, he'd be a bit surprised and sorry he woke you up. He might want to talk about it or he might not, depending on the subject of the nightmare. But I don't think he'd be opposed to you hugging him and telling him it'd be alright. Staying up with him and talking about it or something else entirely. Eventually when he feels like going back to bed and trying to get some sleep before you both have to wake up early like you both always do.
Victor: Like his mother Victor had escaped a war back in The Grotto Empire. So that would come with an unfortunate amount of nightmares. That and not being able to find a job or thinking about what could have possibly happened to his cat can sneak up on Victor from time to time. He doesn't seem like the kind to jerk up out of bed Myabe a gasp or sitting up halfway. If you were awakened by Victor's sudden stirring in his sleep he'd be a bit surprised and also apologize for waking you up. He'd try to hide it at first but confess a bit that he's had a nightmare. Trying to blow it off at first that it wasn't that bad and it wasn't something that you need to worry about. But if you press a little bit he might cave and tell you, not everything but enough that he'd be comfortable with. He'd talk about it in a quiet tone as you listened. Not looking directly at you, you might have a hand on his shoulder or on his hand. Moving your thumb ever so slightly back and forth, trying to calm him.
Rasmodius: Being the protector of the valley comes with its own stresses and sometimes they get to him in his dreams. While Rasmodius is a very confident and assured wizard in his nightmares he dreams about what would happen if the magic shields protect the valley fail. If the amount of monsters in the mines grows in uncontrollable sizes, despite knowing that scenario is unlikely (but still terrifying), or if you of all people go into the mines and don't come back out. Those things haunt him despite himself trying to assure himself with facts and logic that it won't. One night though he may stir from his sleep from a particularly bad nightmare. He isn't used to someone being there at night, certainly not sleeping next to him. In the past, he might have used work to distract him from the nightmares he'd had. But now with you, he has someone new. But if may take some convincing to get Magnus to stay in bed with you. He may not want to talk about it or he hasn't had anyone to talk to about nightmares or things that bother/scare him in a very long time. But if he does you two talk about it for a while in a hushed tone. Maybe holding hands if Magnus wants to and slowly drift back to sleep.
Batchelorette's: Sophia: I think that Sophia has nightmares it would be about the day she lost her parents or possibly about losing you. The day she lost both her parents was the worst day of her life and as much as she's tried to move on with her life, with therapy, medication, regular doctor's visits, etc. it's still something she does have nightmares about from time to time. If you're awoken by her suddenly moving. I feel like if she tried to hide it she wouldn't do a very good job. Trying to say it through tears but eventually gave in and gave you a big hug. She'd try and explain what her nightmare was through tears but not get it out as clearly as she'd want it. You'd hold onto her and say that everything is ok. That you're here and you're not going anywhere and that everything will be alright. Maybe rubbing her back or brushing your fingers through her hair.
Olivia: Olivia, along with her son Victor, came from the wartorn Grotto Empire. That alone has its own set of fears and nightmares. If she had any nightmares ever it'd most likely be something like that. She'd also lost her husband due to that war. Olivia is a pretty quiet sleeper I imagine so her making movement in the night doesn't happen that often. She'd try to hide it if she woke you up by accident. It may take a conversation for her to admit she's had a nightmare as well as whether or not she's shaken by it. She knows she's far from any conflict but still, assuring her that she is safe and nothing's going to hurt her definitely is reassuring enough to calm her nerves. Maybe even enough for you two to go back to bed and fall asleep.
Claire: Clare has the kind of nightmares of her being at Joja ( or if you finished the community center then being back at Joja). Endlessly scanning, endlessly working. Never getting a break, never relaxing. Morris hovering over her constantly telling her what to do and how it isn't good enough. She doesn't outright scream when she wakes up from a nightmare but I feel like she does gasp. Sometimes she tries to go back to sleep but other nights she sometimes wakes you. She might talk about her dream and you'd stay awake and listen. Thinking about how you used to work for Joja and how much you didn't like it. How familiar it seems to you. But you both eventually do fall back to sleep, close together or in each other's arms.

The Wizard and I
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
A/N: here’s to kicking the series off with a song from an iconic musical! It’s not my favorite song from the musical, but I thought that it would fit since I wanted to write something about Rasmodius! Keep in mind that none of these fics have anything to do with each other, they aren’t even the same media(like this one is stardew and the next could be not stardew y’know) hope you enjoy!! Also if you’ve heard the song or have seen the musical you already know that this is going to be iffy
Tw: cursing, the wizard is a morally uncool person in this, reader has a big old honkin crush on him, magic is used in uncool ways. Someone is turned into something else. Potions used negatively, implied cheating, revenge, bad ending.
Pairing: Magnus Rasmodius x witch!Reader (stardew valley/gender neutral)
Genre: angst, single chapter fic/ oneshot, strangers to mentor to lovers(sorta)
Wc:5.3k
Musical Series Masterlist
When I meet the Wizard. Once I prove my worth. And then I meet the Wizard. What I've waited for since, since birth. And with all his Wizard wisdom. By my looks, he won't be blinded. Do you think the Wizard is dumb? Or like Munchkins so small-minded? No, he'll say to me I see who you truly are. A girl on whom I can rely. And that's how we'll begin. The Wizard and I.
When you first moved to Pelican Town, you were immediately curious about the old wizards tower on the edge of the woods. Everyone around you brushed it off when you asked about it, telling you to stay away or that the man inside was insane or a hermit. The only people who didn’t talk down on him were Merlin, who felt neutral about the mysterious man, Abigail who thought he was the coolest thing in the town, Linus who liked him, and Caroline who acted suspiciously and had nothing to say. Needless to say your curiosity in him grew.
It took weeks before you could finally meet him, weeks that you didn’t know could be spent getting to meet him quicker. You liked the old community center, but held off on going in until you had made yourself comfortable in your new home. If you would’ve known that he would contact you the second you had gone in there with Lewis you would’ve asked about it much sooner. Your heart thumps in your chest as you grip onto the strange letter that was put into your mailbox.
His tower is smaller than you thought, not taking up as much space as you assumed a tower would. As you climb up the steps, your heartbeat quickens. You’re actually going to meet him, you’re going to meet a real life wizard that will actually help you hone in your skills rather than having to learn alone. His garden is small, and has only a single large cauliflower in it, but you stop anyway. It’s a marvel to look at, and you needed to calm down before you made a fool of yourself. Breathing in, you take large steps towards his door, bringing a hand up to knock.
Your knuckles don’t even touch the wood of the door before it creaks open by itself, the lack of light somewhat intimidating you. Maybe he just didn’t turn the light on in the entrance of his home. You step in silently, spinning as the door closes softly behind you. “Hello?” You call out, walking in with steps so small that you might as well have stayed in the same place. A deep rumbling voice pierces your ears and makes your heart flutter.
“Hurry up, enter, we have many things to talk about.” Your heart pounds as you rush further into his home.
The living room is larger than you thought it would be, open and only having a large cauldron as the furniture. The walls held nothing of sentimental value, instead bookcases line the walls, the only real decoration being a rug under the cauldron. “It’s nice to meet you. I’m the new farmer that moved in on the old farm north of you.”
You are taken aback by his appearance. His hair and beard a vibrant purple, very similar to Abigail’s hair. His hat sat atop his head, covering it and the hair that flowed from beneath it, it looked almost like a cowboy hat, but revamped to look cooler. God, you were expecting an old man with grays everywhere and a wizard's hat so goofy that you would have to stop yourself from laughing.
His dark eyes flicker up to look at you for a second before going back to watch whatever he was brewing. He doesn’t bother to return your pleasantries, instead he moves away from the cauldron to stand in front of you, staring down without saying anything. You want to cut through the silence by saying something, but saying something might make him dislike you, he didn’t seem like the type to enjoy jokes, or small talk. “You may call me Rasmodius. I am Seeker of the arcane truths, mediary between physical and ethereal. Master of the seven elementals. I have so many more titles, but I'm sure you get the point.”
You nod quickly, immediately taken with his confidence and air of importance. You wanted that for yourself, not in an evil way. You didn’t want to boast or brag. You just wanted to feel good about yourself, you wanted a reason to feel confident and important. “I have long foreseen your arrival, Farmer. I have been waiting a long time for you to get here.”
Your breathing stutters. He has been waiting for you? For a while? You just blink at him in shock. You hadn’t even known when you were coming here that there would be someone like you…someone that exceeded natural limitations and is something more. And here he is, telling you that he already knew you were going to end up here, as if it’s your destiny or something. “Here, I’d like to show you something.”
He moves back away from you, towards the circle on the floor. The candles are already lit, and before he moves again he sends a smirk your way. “Behold!”
A flash of light burns your eyes for a split second before you see the very thing that you had seen back in the community center. It quite obviously wasn’t a rat like Lewis had tried to convince you of, but you had no idea what it actually could be. It was green and tiny, bouncing on small feet as if it were an idle video game character. It’s…cute! It makes a high pitched noise, eyes flickering between you and the wizard. “You’ve seen one before…haven’t you?” He asks.
“Yes, sir, in the community center.”
“And before that?”
“I can’t say that I have.” For a second he looks disappointed in you, and you want to change your answer and claim to have forgotten. But maybe he values honesty more than lies to seem cooler, you know you do. The thing makes another high pitched noise, snapping you out of your inner turmoil.
“They call themselves ‘Junimos’,” he chuckles for a second, eyes not leaving the tiny creature, “Mysterious spirits, these ones…for some reason, they refuse to speak with me.” His eyebrow quirks up, and the Junimo disappears after he does something with his hands.
He smiles at you, freezing your heart in place, then melting it. You felt warm inside, he made you feel warm inside. “I’m not sure why they’ve moved into the community center, but you have no reason to fear them.”
You move closer to him, to the source of warmth, and open your mouth to speak. “I…um. I found a golden scroll inside the community center, but it was written in a language I don’t understand. What should I do?”
“A golden scroll in an unknown language…most interesting…” his eyes light up and he snaps his fingers causing you to flinch. “Stay here. I’m going to see for myself. Don’t worry, I’ll return shortly.”
You frown at him, he was going to just leave you in his home? It will probably take at least an hour and a half to walk to the community center from here, and the same amount of time back. Were you supposed to just sit here? Before you could protest, the man spins himself around quickly, immediately disappearing from your view. What the fuck?
You spin around, trying to see if he’s tricked you or something, but you’re met with an empty house. You let out a breath, letting your lungs empty themselves from the anxiety that built up while you were in his presence.
As you breathe, the door behind you rattles, causing you to turn much too quickly that it causes you to get dizzy. All Rasmodius does is chuckle at your clumsiness. He moves towards the cauldron, smiling to himself. “I found the note…”
“That’s good! Were you able to read it?”
“The language is obscure, but I was able to decipher it: We, the Junimo, are happy to aid you. In return, we ask for gifts of the valley. If you are one with the forest then you will see the true nature of this scroll.”
You frown, obviously you weren’t one with the forest. You were a witch that had no idea how to use your powers, and lacked skills from the lack of a teacher. Now your ignorance was exposed because you weren’t ‘one with the forest.’ Before you could open your mouth to say something, Rasmodius spoke first.
“Hmm…’one with the forest’…what do they mean?”
He stood there silent for a minute, the only sound coming from him was the sniffling of his nose. “Ah-ha! Come here!” He beckons you over with a large grin. You immediately comply, rushing to his side to stand in front of the bubbling cauldron. The green mist coming from it smells nice, it smells like the earth and dirt. He grips your shoulders in excitement, it sends a wave of shock through your body. He was touching you? He had to have had a breakthrough or something.
“My cauldron is bubbling with ingredients from the forest. Baby fern, moss grub, caramel-top toadstool…! Can you smell it?” He pushes you closer to the mist, letting you breathe in the scent once more. He grabs a ladle and dips it into the cauldron, bringing up murky liquid and pouring it into a cup.
“Here, drink up. Let the essence of the forest permeate your body.”
You frown, not really wanting to drink first juice, but then again you didn’t want him to be disappointed in you. You’re a witch for god's sake! Drinking weird potions came with the label. He hands you the cup, and you stare down into it, breathing in deeply to try and calm yourself down. Swallowing the saliva in your mouth, you bring the cup up to your mouth and tilt it back.
The liquid is thicker than you would’ve liked, but for a second you felt fine. Your stomach rumbles, and you are overcome with the urge to vomit, you suck down gulps of air, only making the feeling worse as the taste was less than pleasant. Did you really just drink something random from his cauldron without an ounce of doubt? You hold your belly, trying to hold the vomit down, and the air around you turns green, as if the mist started filling the air while you were preoccupied. Your vision blurs and sways as you swallow down the spit that’s accumulating in your mouth. All you can see is green after a moment, and that fills you with panic.
The feeling subsided after five whole minutes, five horrible minutes, then your body vibrates in a way that confuses you. You can feel the air around you change, you can feel the earth in a way you haven’t before. Oh! You’ve gained the power of forest magic! Cool! Sucks that the potion tasted like ass.
Rasmodius starts shuffling you out of his tower, and you want to cry. Sure this is what you came for, but you still wanted to speak with him more. It almost felt like he was using you to communicate with the Junimos.
“When you finish gifting the Junimos, come tell me. Until then, don’t bother me.”
It took weeks, months, almost an entire year for you to gather everything to restore the community center. It took so much energy that you wanted to give up before you could complete anything. Sure farming was easy enough, but how are you supposed to make a living when the Junimos want everything that is the best quality? All you could do was remind yourself that you had to prove your worth in order to get Rasmodius to like you, to prove that you are worthy of teaching, worthy of someone enjoying your presence.
So you farm, dig, fish, barter, all for things to gift to the Junimos so they would in turn help the community. Every completed bundle you would hope you would find something, maybe a letter, in your mailbox from Rasmodius. No letter ever came. Yet you persist. You continue gifting, and the Junimos continue restoring things around the community center and the town. Eventually you bring the community tiger, you get Pam her old job back, you make the town a better place to live in, a warmer place to live in. Hell, you did so good that Joja Corporation left the town fully, not seeing any bright future when the small town was now tight knit to shop anywhere other than from someone within the community. Still, no letter came.
You befriend the Junimos during that time, laughing every time one or more of them come out to follow you around the community center. Their voices too quiet for you to catch more than a couple words, it didn’t scare you though, they were too friendly to try to hurt you. They were sweet, cute, almost like very smart pets that could understand exactly what you say. You could never keep one though, it seemed wrong. They seemed to like you enough, sometimes even helping out at the farm without you having to ask. Life was good without him, but there was still that nagging feeling that you needed to be around him. Maybe it was a crush, maybe it was the want to be better, it didn’t really matter, he didn’t wish to see you anyways.
Until he did…
You got a letter in the mail on a random weekday, asking for you to bring him some void essence that he could have. Your heart pounded with excitement that he had finally reached out. You spent all day down in the mines, cutting down monsters with your sword so energetically that you had to leave only after a couple of hours having run yourself ragged. Still, he wanted to see you, and maybe he would be happy when you brought him more than he needed.
The very next day you hurry to his tower, void essence in a cute little bag, just for him. Like with everyone else’s houses, you just walk in spotting him next to the cauldron, just like he was the last time you had seen him. “I have the void essence you wanted…”
His eyes meet yours and for a second you feel small under his gaze until he smiles at you, moving with his hands outstretched for the bag. You hand it over quickly, watching as he takes a bit of the essence out of the bag and plops it right into the cauldron. A purplish black smoke fills the air, causing the both of you to start coughing violently.
“Well,” he coughs, waving a hand around, “guess I should be glad that you brought me a bagful.”
His laughter makes you feel better, he didn’t hate you at all! Maybe he just needed to focus on his magic. “I finished restoring the community center with the help of the Junimos…” you start. You didn’t want to fade into an uncomfortable silence before he kicked you out again. You at least wanted to ask him if he could train you.
“I've seen. You’ve done good work bringing the community together. Did you ever find out anything about the Junimos?”
“No, not really. They’re just sweet little creatures that enjoy nature.”
“I see…” his eyes get a glaze over them as he falls back into his mind, and you watch in confusion. Were you supposed to be finding something out? God, you fucked up everything, huh?
“They have to have a little power though, right? They fixed the minecarts and the bus. I didn’t really have to rebuild anything in the community center; they did it all themselves overnight.”
He nods at your words, and the both of you once again fall into silence. “So um, I was wondering…if um…” Rasmodius doesn’t look up as you stutter over your words, and while it somewhat helps that he isn’t staring at you as you’re trying to ask, it sort of hurts that he isn’t really paying attention after you’ve (somewhat) gathered up the courage to ask him literally anything. “If you could, um, be my mentor? Teach me how to use magic? I mean, I’m already a witch, so it’s not like you’re starting from scratch, I just need help concentrating on using my powers, and potions, and…stuff.”
“Huh?” He finally looks up, only for a second, right into your eyes, “oh, sure. Be here next week at 9 pm.”
Your breath catches in your throat as you stare at him. Surprise crawls it’s way up your spine, he agreed way more easily than you thought he would. “Oh! Okay! See you next week!” You grin and walk out of his tower, your steps threaten to turn into hops as giddiness runs its course through your body.
Things are starting to look up.
A cloud of green smoke puffs up from the cauldron and into your lungs, you cough loudly as you fan your hand in the air, trying to get the rest of the smoke away from you. “And what did you do wrong?” Rasmodius asks, an unhappy look adorning his features. You frown sheepishly, embarrassment filling your body.
“I think I didn’t mix fast enough?” You question. It was hard to know what you were doing wrong when all you could focus on was not fucking up, and not disappointing him. With your luck you managed to do both.
“No!” His frown deepened, his dark eyes fixed into a glare. “You mixed too quickly, and too many times! The recipe says to mix 26 times counterclockwise at a moderate pace, then mix 38 times clockwise at a slow pace! You did all 64 one way and too quickly!”
“I’m sorry-“
“You need to pay more attention. It’s as if you’re not taking this seriously!”
Your heart drops into your ass at his words. Of course you were taking this seriously, this was all you ever wanted. You stutter out sounds, trying to deny his claims but all you can do is clammer up. He groans and tells you to repeat the potion.
Your heart beats erratically in your chest, in trying to concentrate harder all you do is make it worse, now being unable to read the words on the page. You fight the urge to tear up and fail, the tears running down your cheeks like a landslide. You try to keep your calm while remaking the potion, but again it puffs up in suffocating smoke as your tears add a component that wasn’t meant to be in it. You whimper quietly in mortification. What were you going to do now?
Rasmodius lets out another groan from somewhere beside you, the annoyance clear in his voice. “Go home. Practice making the spell right and return here next week. It’s clear that you’re not going to get anything done right now.”
You nod and gather your things and the ingredients you need to practice making the potion, maybe you just needed to calm down. As you speed walk out of his tower, your goodbyes fall on deaf ears, he doesn’t reply even as the door swings shut behind you. Taking in a shaky breath, you let the tears fall freely, releasing the burning sensation that had taken over your entire face from how hard you were trying to keep your composure.
‘He’s just trying to look out for me,’ you think to yourself, your steps heavy as you walk home. ‘He just wants me to do my best…’. It seems as if everything that goes up, must come down.
You squeal in excitement as your potion turns out the correct color, on your first try. You grin happily, it had been months since you first started being mentored by Rasmodius, and while some of it was harsh and difficult, you see now exactly why he had been tough on you. It was more rewarding than you thought it would be finally completing your first potion on your own. The wizard grabs you and pulls you into a hug, a bright smile on his face. Your stomach bursts into butterflies as he holds you. “Amazing!”
For the past few months he’s been tutoring you, correcting you, making you the best witch that you can be. And just a little it’s paid off. Soon enough, you’ll be great, soon enough you’d be able to save people. This potion is just a test, to see if you could make something. It’s supposed to turn a person into a dove. Something that Rasmodius says he can already do without anything helping him. “Now, we just need a practice dummy.”
“A practice dummy?” You ask, looking at him in curiosity. He never said anything about using it on someone, but then again you think, how else would you be able to tell if you’ve made the potion correctly or not?
“Yes!” He looks absolutely giddy over the thought of you testing this on something.
“What are we testing it on?”
His eyes are alight with mischief, and yet he doesn’t answer you. Something seems off, but you can’t bring yourself to seem upset or care about it, he just looks so happy.
“Pierre?” You exclaim in horror, staring at Rasmodius. He nodded vigorously, seemingly excited about using the dove potion on Pierre. You didn’t understand why, and he refused to elaborate as he tried to convince you to get him to drink the potion.
“He is on his way here now! You have to get him to drink the potion.”
“And turn him into a dove? I don’t think I can do that, sir.”
“You will, or you can stop showing up here.”
Your heart drops and beats inside of your stomach. He was making you choose between turning a man into a dove for however long, and your work with him? By first look it seems like an obvious choice: do NOT turn the innocent man into a dove that’s RUDE. But your heart wanted you to choose Rasmodius, to not give up on learning how to be the best witch that you can be, even if it takes doing morally questionable things. So that’s what you do, accept what he wants you to do.
When Pierre knocks on the door he looks pissed, and he barges in without saying anything to you. “Where is he?”
You’re confused, even though you know he probably means Rasmodius. “He-he’s here somewhere. I mean it is his house and all. Why are you here?”
Pierre finally looks at you in confusion, as if he’s seeing that you’re in the same room as him for the first time. “He called me here to talk about my wife! As if he knows her at all. Y’know I knew something was up when she took all those walks nearby. I shouldn’t have trusted that man.”
“Do…do you want any tea? While you wait?”
Pierre frowns then nods after a second, as if you’ve made a wrong choice by not meeting him at the door with tea. So you nod, and go and heat some up in a kettle, adding the potion and mixing it. It’s only a bit, the cup tiny, only enough for a shot. But it should be enough for him to turn. You return to the living room, handing Pierre the cup. He downs it immediately, smacking his lips loudly in disgust. His face twists up unhappily and he glares at you.
“Did it taste okay?”
“No it didn’t taste okay! It tasted horrible! Why offer to make tea if you don’t know how to?”
You blink in surprise at his words, maybe he was just upset at Rasmodius’ supposed affair with Caroline. Maybe somewhere in his brain he knows that he’s going to be turned into a dove.
Rasmodius reveals himself after a second, a smirk on his face. For some reason something feels wrong about this scenario, but he’d never actually hurt anyone…would he? “You know…I’ve been waiting on this for a very long time, Pierre.”
You frown and back away from the man. What the fuck is happening? “You stay away from my wife!”
Rasmodius shrugs his shoulders, still smirking at him as if he’s looking forward to the man being turned into a dove. Is this all he used you for? “Well you won’t be able to do anything about it now. Not anymore.”
Pierre grunts in pain, gripping his stomach and doubling over. “What did you do to me?” He screams out as he drops to his knees. You rush over to him only to be shoved away with all of his remaining energy.
“You never said it was going to cause him pain!” You shout at Rasmodius and he shrugs again. “How long will this last? I mean he won’t be a dove forever will he?”
“He will, but it’s okay. No one will know what we did. The idiot didn’t tell anyone he was coming here. So as long as no one has seen him, no one will know.”
Pierre screams out again, the pure agony in his voice causes you to flinch and cover your ears. “But still! He’s in pain! And he can’t be a dove forever! What about his family?”
“They’ll be okay without him.”
You blink at him, where did this attitude come from? Like actually what is wrong with him? Pierre lets out one final shriek, body writhing on the ground. White feathers grow out of his skin, and you can hear his bones cracking loudly as his arms force themselves into itself. His mouth and nose stretch out and combine, and his head shrinks.
It looks absolutely painful and by the end he is a tiny little bird, ruffling its wings. Rasmodius picks it up and throws the dove Pierre into a cage rather roughly. You gasp as his tiny little body crashes into the bars, a sort of yelp coming from his beak. Guilt wraps itself around each and every body part of yours, around each and every internal organ you have. You almost want to vomit from the feeling. Rasmodius just laughs, locking the cage not even looking at you.
You’ve definitely done something wrong.
Going into town has been something you’ve avoided for weeks now, unable to handle seeing Caroline and Abigail cry at all. They have no idea what has happened to Pierre, and it’s not as if you can tell them since you’re responsible, so you avoid them at all costs. Now the only person you interact with is Rasmodius, and sometimes it feels as if you were stuck with him. He kept a close eye on you now, watching your every move. He told you as much. If he goes down, so do you.
Your body sags as you enter the tower, it’s become normal for you to be unable to sleep, yet the man you thought you idolized and maybe even loved seemed more like a stranger. Maybe he had always been one.
You hear a small squeal as you enter the tower, causing you to rush in, heart and head thumping. A tiny blue Junimo lies underneath the boot of Rasmodius. You don’t know what he was doing, but it seemed as if he was going to do something unthinkable.
You rush in, pushing Rasmodius down and off of the Junimo. It seemed smaller than the others, and the second his boot was off of it, it disappeared. “What are you doing?”
He glared at you so hard you felt as if your insides were on fire. Is this really the man you had a crush on? “Getting them to give me what I want. More power.”
“But that looked like a baby! And you can do enough, what do you need more power for?”
“To protect people! To protect everyone! No one else would need to die if I could just figure out how to get a little more power. If I could get the secrets of the universe! I know the Junimos have it.”
“So you’re going to torture them until they give in?”
He gets up from his position on the floor, and his eyes flash with something that causes a shiver to go down your spine. “Farmer! You don’t think that I’m actually going to harm them right?” He moves towards you slowly.
“You hurt Pierre, turned him into a dove, his family is hurt too…”
“Oh but you did that, you made the potion and gave it to him. I just supplied the space. Besides, you know I just want what’s good for the world right? You trust me.”
“I don’t know…” he’s touching you now, a hand on your shoulder and one wrapped around your waist. You can feel his breath on your face from how close he is.
“I mean, you wanted to be with me right? Well you can, I’m giving you a chance. Just…ignore my methods and help me save everyone. Be my assistant and everything will be fine.” He presses a quick kiss to your lips and your heart flips uncomfortably. It wasn’t how you thought it would be…the feeling was more painful than you imagined your heart would be in.
“I don’t think so…”
“Imagine the power…how much people will worship us for saving all of humanity. No more wars, no more killing…all because of us.”
You want to fall for it so badly, but the tone of his voice keeps you from falling into a delusion. He never loved you at all, and now he’s using your crush on him to try to manipulate you. If he had been a little less insane sounding, you probably would’ve fallen for it, for him. But now all you can feel are ants crawling in the places that he’s touching you in.
“No”. You scramble backwards, away from him and the sheer insanity he was exuding, there’s obviously something wrong with him. It was like there was a shadow, around his body, shrouding everything in black. Turning to run, he stops you, tackling you to the ground. The wind is knocked out of your lungs as he sits on top of you. Your stomach twists in fear. What was he going to do?
Your mouth is forced open and he pours something on your face. It burns so badly that you feel as if your skin is melting. You scream out, your vision flickering as you struggle to stay awake, he holds you still beneath him. The last thing you hear is his laughter as you’re forcibly put to sleep.
The light fills your eyes as they’re cut on all too suddenly. ‘He’s back!’ Rasmodius enters the basement of his tower, staring at you with affection in his eyes. You can’t help but feel absolute happiness as he looks at you. You push your hands through the bars of your cage, rattling your chain in order to reach out to him.
He shoves food into your hands, sitting in his chair as he watches you devour your first and last meal of the day. You’re a good pet, he’s trained you to be. He laughs and you look up at him to smile, mouth full. While you don’t remember how you got here, you know you only have one job, to do whatever he wants.
Man, isn’t life great?
And I'll stand there with the Wizard. Feeling things I've never felt. And though I'd never show it I'd be so happy, I could melt. And so it will be for the rest of my life. And I'll want nothing else 'til I die. Held in such high esteem. When people see me, they will scream. For half of Oz's favorite team. The Wizard and I

I commissioned a lovely artist on Twitter to draw a scene from my fanfic, the chapter for this scene was just posted on AO3 today! Please be mindful when you visit this Twitter account that there will be several art pieces that are NSFW.
Let Me Occupy Your Mind, As You Do Mine by disillusionist9
Excerpt from Chapter 11 “An Awful Lot of Plants”
“There’s been a recent influx of locusts in the forest and I need to add some extra magical protections to make sure they don’t come after my fruit,” Rasmodius said when she kneeled next to him to help pluck the bright blue fruit from the vines. “They’re more effective than your typical pesticides.”
“Can you show me the spell you’re using? I haven’t seen any locusts on my farm but I’m so close to the forest that I wouldn’t want to risk it.” She brushed some hair away from her face with the back of her hand, to avoid smearing it with blue fruit juice and dirt. The flyaway ends were starting to curl as her face warmed up from work.
“On the contrary these are spells I learned by studying my notes from your property. Your plants are completely safe from pests.” A few small magical chimes filled the air as he pressed his hands into the ground around another vine. “I always have to keep a layer of magical protection on these plants anyway. My ex-wife hated them, you see. She said they were a sign I was growing soft.”
To her credit Lyla didn’t fully break her stride in her work at hearing his admission of an ex-wife. No one had mentioned that to her in the village before. The way that Robin had reacted that rainy summer day when warning her about her newest friend came to mind but she brushed away the feelings of worry. Rasmodius had been annoying at first, and still was in some ways, but he’d never given Lyla any reason to doubt his intentions. She did her best not to jump to conclusions before he could explain further - though, she did wonder if he was sharing something personal as a way to balance the fact he knew something personal about her.

Intro + Rules
Okay campers! You all can call me Snail, welcome to my Stardew side blog--my main is @snailtiddies420—before we get to the fun there are some rules we all have to follow:
1.  This is a 18 + blog, minors dni, there be smut ahead
2. We don’t yuck yums here, remember the age old proverb “don’t like don’t read” HOWEVER
3.  This is still my little corner of the internet, and I do reserve the right to refuse requests because there are some things I don’t feel comfortable writing for any number of reasons
4. I’m going to include a list of general topics I like and topics DO NOT feel comfortable writing below the cut (to be added to as I think of them)
5. I’m willing to give any characters a shot but given that this is a new obsession results may vary
6. This is a sdv side blog for now, but the chances of it morphing into other fandoms is always possible. The ADHD is gonna keep us ALL on our toes
7. Terfs can go fuck themselves which isn’t so much a blog specific thing but a general principle
8. Include as much detail as you can in your requests! Leaving them open ended is fine but if you want something specific don’t be afraid to let me know 👀
9. I try to go in order as much as possible but I know if I force myself to do that I will end up just not writing at all—I promise everything will be done in time. Please be patient. Sometimes it will take me a while with angst if it hits too close to home y’know?
WHEN YOU ARE REQUESTING PLEASE NOTE -
BACHELORS = BOYS
BACHELORETTES = LADIES
SINGLES = ALL THEM BITCHES
Unless otherwise specified the farmer will be gn (except when I forget that halfway through and randomly assign one idk fam it happens)
Hi hello this is my page and so I’m gonna get weird and specific
Also a disclaimer! I feel like these lists are going to grow the more requests I get. Please know if you ask something and then it shows up in the no thanks list it’s nothing personal and I probably just didn’t realize it would squick me out yknow?
OKIE DOKIE (both sfw and nsfw)
- npc x farmer
- mental illness
- angst
- hurt/comfort (I can do hurt/no comfort but just know it makes me sad lol)
- drugs/alcohol
- poly
- lgbtq+
- pregnancy (not the birth)
- au
NO THANK YOU (in no particular order)
- Rape/noncon
- sexual abuse
- incest
- water sports/ waste play
- torture
- pedophilia
- miscarriages
- birth
- feet
- age regression (I’m familiar with it as a form of therapy and have nothing against it, just a personal trigger)

Hi there! My name's Clover, I'm 17 (aroace spec), and I'm currently looking for an RP partner who's willing to rp Stardew Valley with me! I heavily prefer doing literate to advanced lit, but semi-lit is completely fine too! I'm mostly looking forward to do double-ups for both fandoms, specifically oc x canon characters.
As for characters I plan to pair my OCs with, I'm currently looking for people who could play Harvey or Shane for my farmer.
CHARACTERS I CAN PLAY FOR SDV:
Shane
Haley
Maru
Penny
Elliott
M. Rasmodius (Not that well-versed with his character, but I can certainly try!)
Plot-wise I'm looking for Romantic, slice of life leaning onto drama plots. I love love LOVE slow-burns with a dash of unadulterated pining, so if you're into those plots, I'm your gal. But I'm open to other genres as well, the ones I've mentioned prior are just what I usually do in my roleplays :p
Please bear in mind by the way that I'm also a minor, so NSFW elements are a big no-no for me. I'll only go as far as slightly heated making out scenes, but anything beyond that is a big pass. Besides that, I'm also rather rusty in the writing department, I think the last time I've roleplayed with anyone has been nearly a year ago now, and I'm trying to get back to the swing of things so please be patient with me :')
Additionally, I'm also rather busy with a TON of school work, so if I ever slow down with my responses or forget to check in after a week or two, don't be afraid to leave in a message!
Feel free to interact with this post if you're interested :))

Falling Away With You | Ch. 37
Sebastian x F!Reader and M. Rasmodius x F!Reader
Rating: Mature/Explicit
Chapter Summary: Time for y/n's first SDV Fair as a farmer!
Author’s Note: Leah’s joke towards the end is another stolen RomRas line. I could never make her this iconic myself u__u Hope you enjoy, I’d love to hear what you think! Take care x
Table of Contents + Work Summary
Check it out on ao3!
Prev | Next
It’s finally the day of the Stardew Valley Fair. I’ve got a few ears of raw corn, a tray of corn bread, and a basketful of those forageables I gathered with Leah, all ready to be presented.
This is gonna go sooo badly.
It’s okay though. I’ve got this. I’ve totally got this!
My reputation as a city girl-turned-farmer is definitely not at stake.
Nobody will criticize my efforts.
No one will point and laugh and mistake me for the clown Lewis allegedly hired to perform.
Not even myself. Nope!
No way.
Not lying to myself at all.
(Yes I am.)
Aaand if my grange does earn the worst possible score, at least I get to see the neat stuff Robin, Leah, Clint and Emily made for the crafting category. Plus, Lady Welwick will be there, and so will a bunch of carnies with games, and there will be yummy food, which could all be a fun distraction.
I got up bright and early to make sure I’ll have everything ready to go, and so I can get there ahead of time to decorate my grange a bit. Maybe the added pizzazz will woo Lewis during his scoring. I shake my hands and head to fidget out my nerves and hype myself up.
Trying to really encapsulate the farmer ~look,~ I toss on a deep red jumper beneath my brown denim overalls. I farm in these a lot more than I wear them out these days, so they’ve got some wear to them. Proof that I am A Farmer!! Then, I braid my hair into twintails and wear the cute hat I won at the Egg Festival on top.
When I arrive in town, it turns out I’m not the only one who had the idea to get here early. Marnie is decorating her own display – it’s right next to the one I’ve been assigned – and Shane’s tending to a pen full of animals next to the saloon. Further down the town square, Clint is polishing a bunch of weapons. While this is going on, tents are still being set up, and Lewis seems busy supervising that.
“Nice to see you here so early!” Marnie greets me, a warm grin on her face.
I smile back, grunting as I plop down my baskets and bins on the ground in front of my grange. “I don’t have much, so I wanted this to at least look nice.” I stand up straight, a tray of cornbread and some faux flowers in hand.
“Your first harvest was lovely,” she reassures me while I plop the cornbread dead-center into the display, “I’m sure you’ll do wonderfully today.”
Marnie places a comforting hand on my shoulder, and as I place some flowers around the cornbread, I briefly lean my cheek down to her hand. “Thanks, I hope so.”
Aside from the noises of us participants working and the carnies talking further away, the air is quiet. There’s barely a breeze today, and because of the chilly autumn air, not many critters are chirping. Every here and there, I merely hear a bunny or something scurrying around behind the buildings nearby.
By the time I’m finished setting everything up, most of the townspeople have flooded in. Must be 9 already. I’m proven correct as I hear a yawn and feel a hand on each of my shoulders, followed by a sharp chin on my head.
“Mornin’,” Sebastian grumbles, inspecting my set-up.
“Hello, my love,” I cheerily greet him, tilting my head up to see him. I wiggle him off me, and he obliges, wrapping over to my side.
“Looks good,” he comments.
“I’d hope so. Got here, like, an hour and a half ago.”
“Gross.”
“I know,” I agree, “So early…” I hug Seb’s arm and lean against it. “When does Lewis usually grade these things?”
“You’ve got a few hours. Why don’t we walk around a bit?”
“Fuck yeah, let’s go.”
______________
Seb and I played a few games, hung out with his mom and Leah by their granges, and watched the shitty clown in pure horror for a bit. As more people from out of town began arriving, we retreated up near the community center to eat some of the stuff Gus has been grilling.
“Feels way too early for barbecue.” Seb is still mad about being awake so early, understandably so. Was probably busy working late into the night. He looks super mopey as he bites down on his hot dog.
“It’sh sho good though…” I answer with my mouth full. I swear, I’ve never had a veggie burger that was so well-seasoned. Gus has to be some weird breed of food-wizard.
“Yeah, if there’s one perk to living here, it’s the food.” Seb takes another bite, then asks after swallowing, “Anything in particular you wanna check out next?”
“I dunno.” I peer over the bushes that line the short cliff overlooking town, and eyeball a tent that looks similarly decorated to the one Welwick had at the Calico Night Market. “I promised Welwick I’d pay her a visit, should probably do that sooner than later.” Peering back at Seb, I notice that he seems to be thinking hard. “What’s up?”
“Maybe I’ll go with you, this time, if that’s alright with you.”
Grinning, I nod with vigor. “Totally! You sure, though?”
He nods too. “I’ve been doing a lot of thinking and… I, like,” Seb pauses to get his thoughts together. “I don’t know if I want to be a wizard, considering how odd it still feels for me to be exposed to all this again.” That makes sense.
Nodding, I urge him to continue.
“But I don’t want to waste this weird gift either, if that makes any sense.” He shrugs, sorta to himself. “Seems less scary, now that I’m watching how well you’re adapting to it all. And also, I guess just seeing you have anything to do with it has been making me want to get involved…” His cheeks flush a little. “It would be cool if we could spend more time together when I’m not coding and you’re not farming, too.”
A little image of myself, Sebastian and Magnus working with one another in the tower flashes in my head. I feel butterflies in my tummy and get giddy with excitement – Was that a vision…? Or just positive thinking? – but do my best to hold it in.
“That would be really nice,” I nearly squeak. So much for containing myself. “I’m sure Magnus would be happy to help, too. I’m not really good enough yet to feel comfortable showing you the ropes alone.”
“Yeah, but I still have some things to sort out with him first.” He explains, “I really want to apologize for abandoning him.”
I take Seb’s hand – which was in a curled fist on the wooden picnic table – into both of mine, thumbing at his knuckles. “I’m sure you know by now that he’s literally, like, the sweetest person ever. He’ll probably understand.”
After nodding, Seb lifts my hands to his lips, pecking my bent fingers. “I hope you’re right,” he mutters, his lips still against my knuckles. “Would be weird if you two start dating and there’s still some unfinished business going on with me and him.”
I snort. “Thank you for not saying ‘getting jiggy’ again.”
“I should’ve,” he tuts. “Wasted an opportunity there.”
I roll my eyes and tug him up. “Come on, let’s go see that witch.”
Fingers intertwined, we make our way down the stairs and through the crowd. We run into Victor and his mom, who is so fucking beautiful holy shit, who’s deep in conversation with Caroline and Jodi. I wonder where Abby and Sam are, that he’s not off hanging out with them…? Either way, Seb promises that we’ll come rescue him once we’re finished with our current business.
Welwick’s tent is set up close to the cemetery. Feels fitting, for her to not just be further away from all the hubbub, but to also be near something spooky.
What’s also fitting is that Magnus is here – not even trying to disguise himself – and speaking with her. I guess he really was serious about trying to integrate himself into the town more. Hopefully he didn’t scare anyone this time…
“Didn’t expect to see him here,” I whisper to Seb. I look up, and he’s taking a deep breath in. “You okay?”
“Yeah,” he assures me with a squeeze of my hand. “Y’know what? This is perfect. It’ll force me to get that conversation out of the way.”
“Want me to go grab him for you?”
“Nah,” he shakes his head, still watching the elemental. Magnus has no idea we’re nearby, unless he’s just hiding it. “When you go up to the tent I’ll just sorta… break off with him, and work from there.”
“Okie dokie,” I salute. We continue walking, and I clear my throat when we get closer.
Magnus peers up, and his eyes dart between Seb and I. He returns my grin, and offers a soft nod of the head to Seb.
“Hello,” he nervously greets us. “Er, I’ll be going–”
“Wait,” Seb prompts, and Magnus’ eyes flush pink. “Can… can we talk?”
After a deep breath, Magnus nods. “Of course.”
He says his goodbye to Welwick just as I’m releasing my hold on Seb’s hand, and we switch spots. I hope their conversation goes well. I’m sure it will, but who knows.
It’s funny seeing how Magnus towers over Seb when they’re side-by-side like that. Makes him look so tiny…
As I approach where Magnus was standing, I’m shocked and delighted to see Welwick’s hood down. Her dusty blue-gray hair flows in long, thick waves – easily down to the small of her back – with a thin braid framing each side of her face. Her pale ears, as pointed as I’d expected, are poking out of her hair and adorn a large sum of piercings. Finally, her eyes — which are just as wrinkled as I expected — look soft and sleepy and warm, with irises as blue as her signature cloak.
“Greetings, my young friend!” The woman welcomes me with a wide smile. “That relic has been treating you well, I hope?” Welwick motions towards my necklace and I nod, clutching it on instinct.
“Hi, yeah! I think I’ve started getting non-sleeping visions now, actually. Still hard to tell if it’s just my imagination or not.”
“Only time will tell. I hope it is as useful for you as it once was for me.”
“Thank you,” I smile shyly. I wonder if she really just wanted me to keep her company, rather than to discuss anything in particular, when she told me to stop by… so far it seems that way. “H-how’s your day been?” I offer.
“Lovely, thank you for inquiring. It’s always a delight to be in Pelican Town. The energies are fierce here – truly invigorating, indeed!”
“Is that just ‘cause of Magnus, or…?”
“Amongst other things, yes.”
We continue to talk, exchanging pleasantries until she decides to dive more into her past (or, at least what she can remember of it). She’s clearly very stoked to hear about how recently I started my journey with all this arcane stuff, and to share her own experiences in any ways that can help or inspire me. It’s adorable.
We only halt our conversation when Seb and Magnus return. They were still speaking, both with a soft smile on their features, as they walked over to meet us. Made me feel all fuzzy. When Welwick sent me off, I half-expected her to tease me about Magnus (or even Magnus and Seb). Nothing came of it, though, which I’m thankful for; I’ve already experienced enough of that from Robin in regards to her son.
“So, uh…” I cut the short silence as we stroll a few feet over to the side before settling. Magnus must want to be somewhat hidden, considering how he seems to be confining himself to this small area. “You two made up, or whatever, I’m assuming?” I look back and forth between them, fidgeting with my necklace.
Suddenly, I’m realizing how intimidating the prospect of possibly “being with” both of them is… it feels weird. Not a bad weird, but just something that’s gonna take getting used to.
“Yeah,” Seb responds from my left, while Magnus’ “Indeed” sounds from my right side.
“Honestly it feels undeserved,” Seb adds, “but I’m happy we got to catch up a bit too.”
“Likewise,” Magnus grins. He then peers down towards me, “You hadn’t mentioned you were acquainted with Lady Welwick. When did that occur?”
I shrug. “I haven’t really had the chance. Happened the same day I met Camilla.”
“Ah, Camilla’s still bugging you?” Seb observes, gesturing with his head towards Magnus.
A hefty sigh and exasperated expression accompany the taller man’s nod. “Gave this poor girl quite a fright, too.”
“Was like a real life jumpscare.” I shudder. “She’s so… touchy.”
Popping his knuckles, Seb says, “Fuckin’ succubus, that lady.” I raise an eyebrow, and Seb shakes his head. He puts his hands up in defense for emphasis. “Nothing happened, but that doesn’t mean she didn’t try.” I tilt my head and nod, completely understanding. She did come off as very flirtatious.
“Is she the same way with you, Magnus?” I ask.
“Not anymore, thankfully. It took that wretch ages to understand my ill feelings towards her outside of a professional exchange.”
We fall into another silence.
This is strange.
“Do you, uh, want to come walk around with us?” Seb asks Magnus. There’s a bit of a blush on his cheeks. I wonder if it’s out of mere embarrassment, or something more…
Y’know, I’ve had suspicions that he might’ve crushed on Magnus in the past, but what if it was more than a little crush? What if the feelings never went away? What if Seb’s jealousy at first was a combination of possessiveness over me, and envy that Magnus has feelings for me that weren’t returned to him?
Muuuch to consider.
Magnus shakes his head, rejecting Seb. “I’d like to slowly assimilate myself. It’s been quite a long time since I last attended the town’s festivities firsthand, rather than viewing from the sidelines.”
“So creepy…” I teasingly whisper.
“Hush,” Magnus grins, leaning down to softly elbow my shoulder.
My brain heavily hones in on how he has to lean down for his elbow to get to my shoulder.
I feel… so small…
Stop, (y/n).
Sebastian nudges me too.
Fuck. I forgot he can feel when I’m, um... feeling.
I grab his hand and squeeze it, gaze planted on the ground. My face feels hot.
I look up at Magnus inspecting me. He saves me the embarrassment of asking me what’s wrong, even telepathically, but I still feel my features burn darker. I drop my gaze again.
This is so strange.
I clear my throat. “See you around, then?” I offer, allowing Seb and I to part from him.
“See you around, my deee–” Magnus’ gaze darts to Seb’s, and mine follows.
“It’s okay,” he chuckles, rolling his eyes.
“...my dear.” It comes out as just barely audible.
Another silence leads me to finally verbalizing what I’ve been thinking. “This is so strange.”
They both hum an agreement in unison, before Seb and I depart.
A few seconds later, I halt.
My partner looks back at me, tilting his head in confusion and stopping in his tracks. “What’s up baby?”
“Didn’t you wanna meet Welwick?”
He thinks about it, then replies, “Not anymore. I’ve had enough magic-talk for the day.”
“You got it.” I give him a thumb up, and then we continue onward.
A few more minutes of perusing the crowd for our friends go by, before we eventually just wind up back at my grange.
Seb pipes up, “We, um… we talked about you, and us, and all that.”
“Yeah?” I prompt, fidgeting with the ends of one of my braids.
“Yeah.” He sighs. “This is new to me, and apparently somewhat new for Magnus too… but we’ll make it work, ‘kay?”
I shrug, keeping my eyes on my fingers and hair; feeling nervous and unsure after our group interaction, given how unnerving it seemed to be for all three of us.
“Hey.” Seb tilts my face up by the chin, forcing me to look at him. “Even if nothing’s romantic with him and I, we both want things to work for you.”
Seb leans down, stealing my mouth in a kiss.
“I love you so much, and I can tell how much he cares about you,” he kisses me again before continuing, “so I’m ready to take all the time you need to get used to it.” He kisses me again, before murmuring against my lips, “Alright, princess?” Oh. This man has me in a complete trance.
His opposite hand comes up to cup my cheek, the one that was on my chin staying in place. I nod within his grasp, unable to find words, and he kisses me again, more passionately this time. It’s embarrassing – we’re surrounded by people, both familiar to us and strangers – but there’s no avoiding the way I completely melt into Seb’s sweet lips and gentle touch.
…Until we hear someone clear their throat beside us.
My eyes shoot open, and both of our heads whip to the side. Mayor Lewis is standing there, one hand on his hip and the other clutching his clipboard to his chest. Must be judgment time.
“Please, save that for elsewhere,” Lewis scolds us.
Unable to meet his face, I mutter an apology as I shift myself away from Seb.
______________
Unsurprisingly, I didn’t get first place amongst the farmers. That prize went to that Susan lady, who had an absolute unit of a pumpkin in her own display. Second went to Marnie, and third to myself.
I’m glad I at least beat Pierre.
Lewis had some nice things to say about the food I brought with me, but ultimately, he wanted higher quality, farm-grown produce as well as more variety. I suppose it’s pretty obvious that I just scrounged up what I could to toss in my box, but I’d hoped what I had would’ve earn me less critique than he gave me. I think he was still feeling grumpy about Seb and I having an impromptu snog-sesh out in the open.
Abby and Sam had apparently rescued Victor and brought him to hide in Sam’s yard, which is why Seb and I had such a hard time scoping them out. After receiving the memo, Seb and I stayed by them for a while.
Seb and Sam smoked and tossed a half-deflated beach ball around , and Vic lamented over how badly he wanted a hit, but couldn’t with his mother nearby. In the meantime, Abby and I sat against the fence neighboring Emily and Hailey’s place and talked about the most recent Prairie King news (DLC, babyyy).
Victor had to leave sorta early with his super hot mom, and once people started to clear out, Sam and Abby went inside for some kinda band stuff they’re working on. They invited me in, but feeling tuckered out from the day, I turned down the offer. Seb, on the other hand, was going to meet them there later. Already promised Robin he’d help her carry things home. After seeing those two off – they both refused my help, those stubborn little fucks – I opted to start cleaning up my grange.
Just as I began peering around for certain red-headed, forest-dwelling, art-making queen so I could give back this huge mushroom she found for me to submit, Magnus snuck up on me.
“What are you searching for, dearest?”
Dearest?!
Also, “Holy fuuu—“
Jas was about to run past us to see what Marnie’s up to, but she stuttered once she reached Magnus’ side. Her eyes bulged as she viewed Magnus’ towering form, then she continued her trek.
I scan the area quickly, and the adults nearby — with the exception of Andy — seem to pay no mind to Magnus. I wonder if they know of him, or if they just don’t care enough to gawk at the height, ears, and weirdly colored skin. He’s at least in normal clothing and uncloaked, so that’s probably helping.
I didn’t have a chance to admire his outfit when we interacted earlier this afternoon, but now that I’m viewing him in a turtleneck for the first time, I have to stop myself from ogling a bit.
“Uhhh,” I draw out the sound as I try and think up a replacement to show my fear and replace my fluster without cursing. I’ve got nothing. I grunt instead. “What’s with you and popping up seemingly out of nowhere all the time?”
“For the reactions, of course.”
“Oh, of course!” I sarcastically remark, as if it’s the most obvious thing in the world. “Prick.”
He grins. “How did you fare?”
“Third,” I whine, shrugging. “What about you?” I look the wizard up and down, “You’re awfully elementally, considering you’re out in the open today. I didn’t get a chance to ask about that earlier.”
As he responds, I set the mushroom aside and pile the faux flowers into the container I’d brought them over in. “It would be a tremendous burden to disguise myself as a mundane every time I leave the tower.”
“And if Abby recognizes you?” I smirk. I don’t know if she would, considering how nervous she seemed to be the night she met him as Mark, but it’s still funny to imagine the possibility.
“I will simply wipe her memory.”
“You can do that?”
“No.”
“Wait, what?”
“What?“
“Then… how would…” I meet Magnus’ eyes again, and they’re riddled with mischief. Oh. He’s fucking with me.
I roll my eyes and snort. I wonder if spending today around another elemental (who isn’t Camilla) is what has him acting all silly, compared to how timid he seemed earlier on. Just as I’m about to playfully insult the man and request a legitimate answer, I hear footsteps approaching. I look to my left, and see Leah sloppily making her way towards us. Her cheeks are rosy, and she has some sway in her step.
Robin did mention that the poor girl didn’t score very well…
I guess she drank about it.
“Ah, I was just looking for you before!” I exclaim.
“Y’were?”
“Mhm!” I grab the chanterelle and present it to Leah with a dramatic bow. “Your fungus, m’lady.”
She curtsies (to the best of her ability, being in pants), and lilts, “Oh, why thank youuu, beautiful.”
Beautiful?
My cheeks redden.
She winks. Fuck. She’s stunning.
I squeak.
Magnus quietly chuckles behind me, reading me like a goddamn book.
Blissfully ignorant to my swooning, Leah points over my shoulder with the mushroom in her hand. My eyes widen, and I turn back around towards Magnus. He seems nervy all of the sudden – must be remembering the painful interaction he had with Leah a few days ago.
“Hello,” he softly offers.
“What,” Leah clears her throat, “what isss swayin', canis lupus familiaris?!” She starts giggling wildly, as if she just made the sickest burn.
“Leah!” I can’t help but laugh with her as I grab the wrist that’s still hovering near my face and lightly shove it back towards her. “Don’t be a dick!”
“You command, whilst nearly in tears of laughter,” Magnus narrates.
It was pretty funny… A hearty snort escapes my nose before I apologize, covering my face with my hands and leaning my back against the table my display sits atop. The pig-like noise prompts him to laugh along with us.
“Did I not sound like’im?”
“No!” Magnus and I answer in unison.
I rub my forehead. “You wanna come to my place ‘til you sober up?” I offer her. “You can stay over if you want.”
“I’m fiiiine.”
After shoving the shroom into the front pocket on her green corduroy overalls, Leah moves closer and puts both her hands on my shoulders. It’s clear she’s using me to keep herself balanced while she tries to put on a serious facade. I plop my palms onto her fingers, letting her borrow me for a sec.
“Where’s Elliott?” I ask. Maybe he could take care of her.
“He went back to th’beach with Willy.” Leah stops to hiccup a little, then pouts. “So mean, that one.”
I chuckle, sarcastically responding, "Ah. So mean."
“Let me teleport you home, at the very least,” the wizard to my left and her right offers.
I scrunch my nose, peering up at him with uncertainty. “Would that be a good idea? What if she hurls?”
Magnus winces. “Ah, yes, that’s a fair—“
“Okay, sure, I’ll do that!”
Our eyes shoot to Leah. “I th-thought you were scared of him,” I claim, in a poor attempt to save Magnus from the curious drunk.
“Naw, he’s just a little weird, thas’all!”
“How… relieving?” the wizard tentatively responds.
I throw Magnus an apologetic smile, then transfer Leah’s limp hands into his own. “Good luck,” I murmur to him. Then, I put a palm on Leah’s shoulder, and order her, “Lee, until you’re home, do not let go of him.”
“Mmmmhm, yes ma’am.” She winks again. Even through her bumbling, it’s still a gorgeous, tummy-fluttering sight.
I shove my face in my hands again. Magnus clears his throat, urging me to meet his maroon gaze. I do so with my hands still comfortingly cupping my pinkened cheeks. “Come see me in the morning?”
“‘Kay.” I mirror his soft smile, before he vanishes with Leah in tow.

RP Search (Stardew Valley and Lego Monkie Kid)
Hi there! My name's Clover, I'm 17 (aroace spec), and I'm currently looking for an RP partner who's willing to rp Stardew Valley or Lego Monkie Kid with me! For Monkie Kid, I'm hoping to find someone who could play either Mei or The Mayor for my character! CHARACTERS I CAN PLAY FOR SDV: Shane Haley Maru Penny Elliott M. Rasmodius (Not that well-versed with his character, but I can certainly try!)
CHARACTERS I PLAY FOR LMK: Macaque MK Red Son Plot-wise I'm looking for Romantic, slice of life leaning onto drama plots. I love love LOVE slow-burns with a dash of unadulterated pining, so if you're into those plots, I'm your gal. But I'm open to other genres as well, the ones I've mentioned prior are just what I usually do in my roleplays :p Please bear in mind by the way that I'm also a minor, so NSFW elements are a big no-no for me. I'll only go as far as slightly heated making out scenes, but anything beyond that is a big pass. Besides that, I'm also rather rusty in the writing department, I think the last time I've roleplayed with anyone has been nearly a year ago now, and I'm trying to get back to the swing of things so please be patient with me :') Additionally, I'm also rather busy with a TON of school work, so if I ever slow down with my responses or forget to check in after a week or two, don't be afraid to leave in a message! Feel free to like or comment or jut drop by my dms if you're interested!!! :)))

Hey! Hope you're having a great week!
I'd like to make a request about harvey and witch!reader (GN) who gifts him potions or invites him to do little rituals.(stuff like that)
This could be HCs or a little oneshot or whatever you're comfortable with!
(If that's too much, sorry/gen)
🦉-
A/N: you wanna know something funny? I wasn’t gonna announce it yet(as if anyone cares lmao) but I’m planning on doing musical inspired fics and the very first one I’m writing is about witch!reader(gender neutral) x Rasmodius! So you were literally in tune with me about the reader being a witch lmao. Also I hope you’re having a great week(and all the great weeks for forever) too!!
Tw:Witchcraft? Some stuff may be inaccurate I do not practice witchcraft at all so I am very ignorant. Cursing. A sexual mention (not bad or graphic I promise it’s just a lil jokey joke.) 1 mention of the war going on in the game.
Wc: 17 bulletpoints (i think) 0.6k for the oneshot
Sdv Masterlist
I personally think that Harvey has no experience AT ALL with witchcraft and magic or anything.
His experience is that he has watched scary movies with witches, and has seen every single episode of Charmed.
So he’s not really scared, just wary, especially since there is an actual Wizard that lives right outside of town.
So when you start becoming friends and you tell him that you’re a witch and partake in witchcraft he’s very….
I literally cannot explain without using an emoji I hope y’all can see it it’s just 😃
Like he’s literally like “hmm okay guess that’s something that’s part of my life now”because he likes you so much
If it was anyone else he would’ve been sorta like…that’s something I’m not comfy with
But with you he’s like “yeah okay I guess I can deal with this”
The first time you gift him a potion he is very confused like wtf is this for
You’re like “hehe it’s to help you have more energy🥰”
He is VERY HAPPY with how well it works and the fact that you made the potion taste GOOD
Like the medicine he sells in the clinic for energy tastes like absolute ass and he never takes it himself.
But you literally gave him a solution
Also a potion to get rid of insomnia(at least temporarily)
He is all for it especially since it’s you teaching him.
He actually allows you to sell your potions in the clinic for certain things like helping Granny Evelyn deal with her bad knees and arthritis.
Actually in love with you, and he has decided that even if you used a love potion on him he wouldn’t care at all.
The moon is slowly rising in the night sky by the time Harvey can lock up the clinic to head to your farm. He’s nervous, he has been to your place before, yes, but this is the first time you’ve invited him to be a part of a ritual that you’re doing. He doesn’t know what it is specifically, while on the phone you were very playful and vague. It takes him an hour to get to your place, he walks briskly, the wind whipping his hair around.
The closer he gets, the more his heart pounds and he feels the urge to turn back and go home. It’s not that he’s scare of you, in fact he trusts you with his life, he just is anxious about the ritual and what you have to do. His phone buzzes in his pocket the second he stops and he sees your name pop up.
Farmer: don’t you dare turn around.
i’ll turn you into a frog if you do.
okay i won’t but hurry up and get here.
He couldn’t help but smile at your words, and how you knew that he was getting cold feet. Harvey sends a reply and continues walking. This night is going to change his life, he knows it.
He knocks on your door, bouncing on his feet as he waits, too cold to just stand there. You open the door, and he is hit with the smell of what he thinks is cinnamon, and the warmth of the inside of your home. Your smile is so bright that he insults himself internally for even thinking of turning around.
“You’re here!” You grab at his arm to pull him inside, helping him take off his coat to hang it up. “I thought you would’ve changed your mind.”
“Never, not when you invited me.” You send a soft smile his way while leading him to your bedroom. He had never really been in it before, only seeing it from the living room or hallway when he’s passing by. It makes his heart thump so loudly that he fears that you can hear it.
“You ready?”
“Yeah…what kind of ritual is this?”
“A sex ritual.” He chokes on his saliva. You invited him to do a sex ritual? He thinks for a second that he doesn’t think that you were at that point yet, but he isn’t mad at it, he wouldn’t oppose it if this is really what you want to do.
“A sex ritual?”
“Yeah,” your eyes shine with mischief, “to make us super horny, totally. We’re gonna summon an incubus.”
Harvey can’t stop his eyes from widening at your words. “O…Kay?” You laugh loudly at him, doubling over and wheezing, your eyes closed in delight.
“I-“ you almost fall to the ground still laughing hard. “I’m joking! We’re doing a ritual to make sure that the beginning of next year will be good for everyone, and we’re doing a second one to protect the valley from monsters, especially with the war going on.”
He lets out a loud breath, sort of relieved but also sort of disappointed. He really did want to see you summon some sort of sex demon, it would be really funny now that he thinks about it.
Taking his hand, you grin as you pass him some ingredients. As you begin to read off how to do the ritual, he decided then and there that he has to ask you on a date, and maybe to do a ritual to make sure that the date goes well, he’d regret it if he didn’t.
