The crucial role of insects in the pollination of flowering plants is well known, but algal fertilization assisted by marine animals was hitherto deemed non-existent.

 This video shows the aquarium containing males (on the left) and females (on the right) of G. gracilis with I. balthica. The isopods of different sizes are foraging on the seaweed. Some of them are difficult to observe as they are firmly gripped onto the algae, and spermatia can thus deposit on the setae of their pereiopods.

等待面向大海，春暖花开的时刻。

自从在马上摔下几次，我好多年未骑马了，这种沿着海岸线和Dune骑马走一圈的活动是我们的Monterey 特有的。

我们的Dune可与电影比美了，现在有红绿灌木，冰植，加上白沙，蓝海，美极了。

若来看lily,别忘了看看附近的Dune。要是骑马的话，需要预定。海带随便捡！

看到一个短视频，讲的是一个小女生在一亇比较偏的美国学校念书，每亇quarter要花家里二十五万元，而且每天除了学校和家两点－线，没有地方去，以泪洗面。我想起曾经以泪洗脸的时候，回想起来，是不是自己把自己陷入那种苦境之中呢？当然三十年前我的情况与这位小姐姐不同，忧伤的地方也是不一样的。 小女孩既然觉得父母给钱不易，是不是应该打工减轻父母的负担呢？至少可以去参加周围的活动，可以忘掉自己的烦恼，学习英文, 学习文化，深入了解美国社会。既使不能减轻父母的负担，也可以去学到二十五万元所买不到的东西。

对我来说认识主，去教会，超过所有其他的活动，有来自神的真正的光和快乐。如歌中所唱：

“At the cross, at the cross where

  I first saw the light,

And the burden of my heart rolled away,

It was there by faith I received my sight,

  And now I am happy all the day。。。”
