Thinking about how Morgott’s cursed sword and the Omen cleaver are both classified as curved greatswords.
Thinking about how the Omen cleaver was probably the weapon Morgott primarily used pre-blood sealing and pre-Shattering War.
Thinking about how the Omen cleaver has a malediction carved into the blade that allows someone to disarm an Omen at will and was likely used to keep them from using violence against their subjugators.

Curses: A History On The Dark Arts and How to Practice Them (18+) by W.S
Since the dawn of man, people have consistently been annoyed with one another. Because of this fact, many different Magickal ways have popped up to harm the deserving and undeserving alike.
Today we will be going over the historical Jinxes, Hexes, and Curses found throughout the ancient world. (and how to do a few as well for those 18+)

The Difference Between Hex, Jinx & Curses
Jinx
A small form of malignant Magick intended to bring bad luck to a person or place. Usually Minor, they wear off by themselves and are rarely lethal
Hex
Slightly more in-depth form of Malignant Magic, intended to bring misfortune to the intended. i.e. spoiled food, killing their plants, or making them stub their toe for a month, it is really up to the imagination of the caster. They can last longer but usually will go away on their own after a few weeks/ the afflicted learn's their lesson.
Curse
Curses are the most powerful form of Malignant Magick, these spells can topple nations and disrupt the lives of countless people. They can be cast to kill, ruin a family for generations, or even bring about great calamity to an area. They can also be used as a defensive measure to protect a space like a crypt from suspected grave robbers, to send a message to others who attempt to follow. These spells when done properly, LAST FOREVER unless the caster or someone who has the know-how removes the spell from the afflicted.

The malignant gaze, this is a type of curse/Jinx that can be done purposefully, or accidentally to another person. The power of a person's gaze is said to bring maledictions to the unassuming. Stemming from one's own internal jealousies and uncontrolled intrusive thoughts, this is one of the most common Jinxes/curses done even today. The origins of this are said to be well over 5,000 years old, and the protections for it include The Nazar and Evil Eye Removal Rituals.

Tablets made of lead, in which people would beseech the Gods to perform maladies on others. Mortals asked for people's land to be salted, and their businesses to crumble. They asked Gods to imprison the target or pettier things like having the target's sports teams lose. Once the curse was scribed into the lead they were pierced with nails and buried in graveyards. Or placed near/in the target's home. They weren't always used to Curse, some have been found detailing love spells and the like. Often they would add objects belonging to the intended target like clothing or hair to give these spells extra strength.

Ancient Egyptians Used magic in their day-to-day lives, it was seen as a gift from the gods and they used this magick to treat the sick and to protect themselves from malediction. One common practice in the old kingdom was the use of Protective Curses in tombs from those who would desecrate the spaces. i.e. (warnings to people not to go further) These curses garnered fear from some superstitious writers of the time, especially due to the increase in deaths and strange occurrences following the disturbances of Tutankhamun's Tomb.

Curses in More Recent History
Curses haven't really changed all that much since antiquity, the truly great ones have been passed down from teacher to student and still exist to this day. Here is a more recent example of a curse
Ceremonial Magick Curses Pre 1800s
Ceremonial curses Performed by occultists and alchemists usually consist of a petition- a request to an external spirit/entity. For these curses, magicians petitioned Angels ( and even some demons) to exact divine judgment upon the intended target. This was not exactly uncommon as the wrath of god was viewed as an extremely powerful source to draw from in those times of church rule.

Modern Day Curse: Detailed How To (18+)
This curse comes with a warning to the caster, dark magic, when done continuously, crosses a line. You draw a moral line in the sand when you begin this journey, your magickal practice, and the more you allow yourself to fester in the dark, the higher the possibility to lose yourself to your darker impulses. When practicing dark magic you must allow the darkness into yourself to complete these spells, however, once it's over you must ground yourself using a memory of someone/something you love. Don't allow yourself to fester in your own hatred, or you yourself will be cursed.
The Mark Of Madness
This curse initiates the decline of a person's mental cognition, Weakens their defenses, and inadvertently leads to them becoming bedridden. Causing Hallucinations, Nightmares, Paralysis Demons the works This curse can only be undone by the caster or someone of the same blood due to the nature of the spell.

Container Of Some Kind
This spell is best done at night, far away from your home, preferably at the target's home if at all possible. Cast your protections before doing the spell as always.
Step 1: Place The Photo Inside Of The Bowl and Recite
"Tu (Name Of Target) scopus meus es"
Step 2: Place the Dirt Inside the container while reciting
"per terram ad insaniam convertunt"
Step 3: Add The Evergreen Ashes to the container while reciting
"per cineres ad insaniam convertunt"
Step 4: Pour The Stagnant Water Into the Container and Recite
"per aquam ad insaniam convertunt"
Step 5: Cut your right hand and bleed into the mixture, while reciting the spell. This creates the blood lock. This way nobody but you or a blood relative can undo the curse.
"Sanguine meo proprio hanc claudo. Hoc erit in aeternum"
Step 6: Stir the mixture into a paste, dipping your uncut hand into the mixture to make sure your palm is coated well. Then head to the front of the person's property and place a handprint in the walkway. Just out of the line of sight, Pour the excess mixture into their garden/yard and leave the property. If you have access to the person you wish to curse (i.e. an abuser)you can also place the hand print upon their body when they sleep and the spell will be faster acting.

ThreeFold Law Addendum
Many new witches/practitioners have a Wiccan preconception about something known as the threefold law. This was made up for that specific religion, it doesn't govern all practitioners of magick and it certainly won't cause you any harm. So if someone tries to fear monger you politely ask them to shut it with their nonsense. Cursing has been around for most of human history and it's how we've been able to feel a small amount of control in times in which life seems uncertain. So go out and learn, enjoy your practice and your journey, and most importantly remember not to take anyone's shit.

Daily Excerpt: Passion
Oh boy! How did you all like the end of the Second Act? Spicy right? Chapter Nineteen is on its way, and we are hurtling towards the climax at full speed now. Here's a sneak peek just a little into the future from Chapter Twenty-One: A Splurge and Maledict Devices

She let off the last of her munitions to distract the suit, and braced herself against a nearby wall, forcing first her dislocated shoulder and then the misbehaving knee in place. It should hurt. When had she stopped feeling pain? The suit replied, it had severed the connection to several bundles of sensory nerves to prevent the pain from distracting them. She thanked her other half, and returned to focusing on the battle. They only had their own limbs-battered-and their remaining energy-depleting rapidly-to subdue the cursed tech. She dodged around another poorly aimed shot, and looked at its condition.
Another solid strike to its rockets would do it. She didn’t have the Fenton’s number; why did she not have their number? We don’t need anyone else. They would be helpful, keeping the civilians out of harm’s way. They will not be harmed once we eliminate the tech. She squared off against the suit, preparing for another exchange. She’d defeat this thing, and contact the Fentons somehow. She needed to use their portal to get Skulker anyway. The hybrid’s portal is unguarded. She shook her head, dismissing the thought. That was a problem for later.
With renewed vigor, she charged at the suit. It had lost interest for a moment, when it caught sight of the screaming crowds of people still clogging the streets below, but her battle cry drew its attention once more. She swung the blade on her stronger arm towards the suit, and this time it struck true. It carved a beautiful path through the back of the suit, marring its form. She frowned. She’d already struck the suit there once before. She was sure of it. It fell back onto the roof face down, sprawled out and flailing around for a few seconds. The edges of her gash began to pull closed.
No! The curse had given the suit increased power. Her first attack had sealed over, and now the second one was as well. She dove down towards it, hoping to pierce it with both arm blades. It rolled to the side, and her blades struck through the concrete, cracks running over the surface instead of throw the mech. She let out another frustrated scream as their quarry continue to escape its demise. They could not continue for much longer.

SPOILERS!!
It's so sad that when an author creates a "goat character" most of the time they forget how to write/draw them... like gojo was a character whose death could have been organised better. It would have been nice if gege, during the fight of sukuna and gojo, made satoru think about his past and how much the title strongest has affected him through the years. Damn it would have even been really nice if gege focused on the love/loneliness concept during the fight and then, because of a strong attack that we see of sukuna, gojo dies...
But at least before dying we would have know more about him and his feelings.
Instead we have a kind of hallucination or dream?? I don't know about that because it reminded me of the harry potter and albus dumbledore scene when we audience thought (spoiler for somebody who is reading or watching harry potter!) that harry was dead but then he came back into the action.

We always knew since chap 96 (if I'm not wrong), when we learned that gojo birth caused an increase of maledictions and also his force made them more stronger than before, that satoru was one of the characters that gege wanted to kill off before the ending. But I didn't expect him to give gojo satoru a death so shallow and underwhelming... even more because of the hype he created since gojo got sealed.
Anyway I will keep reading the story only to see what that damn cat of gege would draw as an ending (I have bad feelings...)

Ms Tiny Catholic,
I left Christianity for a few years and fell into a ‘Wicca-witchcraft-polytheistic-blah blah- ghost contacting’ phase. Recently, I’ve found Catholicism and have been purging my belonging and habits that are related to that “witchy” phase when I find them, but I’m worried I’m not doing enough. I experienced things I can not explain and had interactions that scare me deeply now. Last night I dreamt my house was plagued by demons and woke up unwell and poorly rested. I’m not sure about most Christians, but I believe that some of the witchcraft being practiced now is real and not just aesthetic and I’ve naively let dark forces into my life. Am I just paranoid? Is there anything I can do?
Praise God that you’ve encountered His Church and are starting to orient yourself towards Him!! I had a similar experience in my conversion. In my personal opinion I think the situation could be a bit of both things (real darkness as a result of the occult, but also you psyching yourself out a little bit). I absolutely believe that (some) witchcraft is real and can invite demonic spirits in, and I can’t rule out whether or not that’s happened, but I think there’s a level of healthy paranoia and and a level of unhealthy paranoia. Here would be my suggestions! I’m going to include a list of prayers at the bottom, which are generally my favourites for demonic issues and protection from evil. Sacramentals are also a great gift of the Church and while they’re not magical talismans or anything, I find they can be very comforting, and if you have them blessed by a Priest they can help to be a protective presence. St. Benedict Medals are amazing, as well as Holy Water and/or exorcised salt. If you haven’t already, I’d also really recommend reaching out to a Priest to discuss the conversion and fears you’re having! If you’re not struggling with compulsions or scrupulosity I also find a quick Hail Mary or request for peace from the Holy Spirit can b really calming in a frightening moment.
I ask Jesus to seal me in His most Precious Blood against any and all incursions of the evil one, in particular, against any clinging, familial, familiar, or retaliating spirits, in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
I adjure all of you evil spirits, in the Name of the spotless Lamb of God, Jesus of Nazareth, to depart from here. I cast you out, every unclean spirit, every phantom, every encroachment of the devil. Yield then to God! You are vanquished in your citadel,  all you vile demons. “An important distinction needs be made between medieval aggression and anger, for while one was being discouraged the other was being accepted as a noble virtue. One of the shortcomings of Norbert Elias’s magisterial review of the connection between violence restraint and the civilizing process is that he bases his theory on a broad definition of aggression. According to Elias, the civilizing process begins with the control of violence and aggression and the monopolization of military ordinance in the hands of a central state. This is accomplished through the social construction of mannerisms and rituals that restrain primary affects. 
Yet, by giving considerable attention to the growth of manners and rituals intended to decrease the possibilities of violent outcomes, Elias underemphasizes an important parallel development in which anger was becoming legitimized, recognized, and expressed. Certainly, no quarrel can be struck with the sensible conclusion that rational society required a limitation of armed confrontations. Yet, while violence and outright carnage were being curtailed through the authority of central courts, the emotion of anger was being refined and linked to honour. 
In certain situations, the expression of anger was even considered a useful and necessary virtue, proof of a noble spirit. So, the ‘civilizing process’ involved not only the curtailment of violence, but the development of purposive anger, an acceptable replacement to outright violence. In fact, the monastics who took upon themselves the task of recivilizing Europe were faced with a dilemma. They could not categorically speak out against anger because anger was rationalized in the Bible. God’s wrath descends upon humanity in numerous passages of the Holy Book, through direct intervention or through the zealous anger of the Biblical prophets. The virtuous man is allowed (maybe even expected) to be an angry man, considering the fact that he lives in a world of sins that insults his virtue. 
Psalms 4:5 advised: ‘Grow angry, and do not sin.’ Numerous other passages of both the Old and New Testaments value righteous anger (Psalms 139:21–2, Isaiah 13:9, Romans 2:5, Revelations 6:17). So, what the clerics needed to do in order to harmonize Christian theology with the emergence of a territorial aristocracy was to differentiate between anger that was a deadly sin and the type of anger that was divinely justified and socially useful. Even here, class  distinctions played a major normative role. Just as courtesy rituals became reserved for those of noble birth, so did moral anger become the property of the nobility. Anger against enemies had already been legitimized in the canonical writings and town charters. The practice of clamour (ritual anger), monastic maledictions, and the inclusion of curse clauses sealing tenth century charters (e.g., ‘whoever breaks this agreement will be cursed by God’) legitimized purposive and religiously motivated anger (Little 1993). 
Similar representations of virtuous anger are found between the eighth and eleventh centuries in the Celtic tradition. Curses and maledictions were drafted to protect the virtuous from the ruses of those who would play unfairly and without honour. The killing of a priest, the stealing or desecration of church property, and the robbery and murder of travellers were some of the ‘acts of disrespect’ that justified personal and communal displays of anger and the drafting up of curses. Thus, while patience and compassion were presented as virtues that would limit the use of vengeful anger, they were not in and of themselves prohibitions of the anger emotion. In fact, anger was considered a means by which outright violence could be avoided and honour maintained. 
Anger could signal to a transgressor that a revised social relationship was required and bring about reparatory behaviour that prevented outright physical violence. And, when practised by a ruler in response to quarrelsome parties in court, it could help restore harmony and reaffirm the authority and legitimacy of the monarch. What the monastics did speak out against with considerable fervour was a self-interested anger bound neither to love of justice nor religious fervour. The trait of debonereté (debonair) does not initially appear as a body mannerism signifying elegance, but as a moral quality that restrains the noble individual from proceeding to vengeful acts once his anger has been satisfactorily expressed. 
The civilizing process here is not one of prohibition and complete repression but one of refinement and containment. In light of this earliest historical function, debonereté would be better explained as goodness, perhaps even mercy. And, indeed, great care was taken in the literature to distinguish between uncompromising self-interested anger and the anger that was motivated by commitment to virtue and honour within specified moral limits. The epic of Raoul de Cambrai (c. 1180) demonstrates the impasse created by an infernal circle of self-interested anger – deprived of all venues of compromise, the protagonist dies in the end, a victim of his own character flaw (Kay 1992)  
Thus, anger expressed with measure was regarded as a sign of a lofty mind and worthy of great praise. The defending of honour through elaborate and public expressions of anger became a property of the aristocracy throughout the high Middle Ages and the Renaissance (Miller 1993). It placed potential opponents in a sort of ‘trial by ordeal’ that led to compromise and settlement. It also helped define and preserve ties of dependence in the feudal system (Bloch 1961). The displeasure (ire, ira) of the lord towards the vassal acted as a powerful socializing emotion that not only helped clarify the obligations of the feudal relationship, but also preserved it from degenerating into chaotic confrontations. 
Similarly, the fear of incurring royal displeasure had a powerful socializing effect on members at court who were increasingly dependent on the monarch’s favour for their own survival (Head and Landes 1992). And, here, once again, while the noble person was considered to possess the discernment required for distinguishing between free-floating and purposive honour-bound anger, the peasant was accused of remaining incapable of experiencing righteous or zealous anger. His anger was represented as animal-like rage, useless in terms of preserving social order and highly inefficient in times of war. He was neither an honourable citizen nor a useful warrior. When he did experience anger it was in the form of disorganized rage, driving him to pillage, rape, and mindless slaughter (Greenblatt 1983:1–29). 
Just as the peasant was considered incapable of feeling the nobler emotion of courtly love and the lovesickness that was a consequence of it (Wack 1990:60–70), so was he considered incapable of experiencing any morally legitimate emotion. Peasant fury in the 1200s and 1300s was likened to bestial rage, devoid of moral legitimacy. The Jacquerie peasant rebellion of 1358 was frequently referred to in the literature of the period as the doings of a murderous mob, incompetent militarily because of its lack of restraint and forethought (De Medeiros 1979:30–3). The peasantry was ridiculed even when some of it members attempted to emulate the behaviour of chivalric society. 
It was thought that a peasant trying to act like a knight would only end up terrorizing the countryside, for he would remain fundamentally ignorant of the meaning of honour and true bravery. Chrétien de Troyes’s Perceval ([1180–?] 1967) is written as a caution against coarse interpretations of noble motives. Perceval, the son of a peasant, has to undergo many tests before developing the spiritual maturity and restraint required of the knightly position he has chosen for himself. He must transcend his ‘first’ nature in order to comprehend the meaning of authentic service.  
So, ‘respect’ and ‘disrespect’ in the medieval world have to be understood in context of feudal social relations and contracts and oaths of fealty and dependence (Bloch [1939–40] 1961). Codes of loyalty and specifications of duties prohibited people from attempting to compete with their superiors. A person’s status had a definite place and price in the social order, and any insult directed at that status could require considerable sums to be paid in reparation; this was especially so in Celtic culture (Davies 1988:86–7). Thus, the ‘civilizing process’ of which Elias speaks required not only a limitation of violence but also the appropriative act of defining what was acceptable and unacceptable anger. 
Had the medieval Christian courtesy literature required a complete repression of aggression it would have been very difficult to legitimize the emerging state’s control of violence and the socialization of the knight as a pious servant ready to take up arms when required. Although the early courtesy writers referred to Christian canon to legitimize their claims, they struck a compromise between the earliest Christian call for a philosophy of ‘neighbourly’ love and a moral philosophy that elevated certain types of anger to the level of desired virtues. Coincidentally or intentionally, this allowed the emerging absolutist monarchs to dampen revolutionary rage while rationalizing their own aggressive campaigns as moral crusades. It also allowed, just as importantly, for subjects to use violence as a political tool. 
As Tilly (1986, [1995] 2005, 2003b, 2004, 2005a, 2005b) has amply documented in his various studies of collective violence and ‘contention,’ the restraint of free-ranging violence was itself a crucial step in the formation of political groups that used violence in purposive ways. So, while Elias focuses on the monopoly of violence on the part of the state, he underplays the continuing balancing relationship between the state which does give itself authority to exercise violence in order to prevent its occurrence (keeping order) and a citizenry which remains in a contentious relationship with the state in order to ensure that its interests are accommodated.
