I'm about to throw up. Everything about this is incorrect from what I've been shown. NONE OF THESE CHARACTERIZATIONS ARE TRUE. Billy Bones has done my head in a much harsher way than Silver stomping Defresne to death. And - the kicker is - the philosopher-king aspirant was always James Flint.
Billy Bones you suck at story writing.

Bye Dean enjoy the vacation in hell
Oh shit wait nvm that was over fast
Anyway. Thoughts.
Too tired for much but I have thoughts that I need to get out.
I really appreciate how much this show does 'show don't tell' - Dean's back from Hell and the immediate jump from "Yeah I guess I blacked it out!" to him standing in front of the mirror.
It's good shit.
Sam's "fucked up guy" arc has been ramping up and it's at great contrast to Dean's ludicrously intense 'black and white' attitude towards anything he thinks is evil. It's easy to look at things simple and it lets him do his job without thinking twice. Until he's forced to.
The good vampire, the werewolf, Sam.
Although Cas has been spoiled for me thanks to years of. Yknow.
This is an incredibly ominous way to introduce him and it's a real fun bait and switch so far. Jury's out if I'll like him as a character or not.
All this is just fueling live free or twiharder not gonna lie
Ok cas arrived it was fun. Still unsure if I like him yet or not.
What a fucking weirdo

Watching and Dreaming spoilers:
For a while now, I have had many issues with The Owl House. But after that finale, while still flawed, all I want to do is talk about how amazing it was.
While oddly quick, the Collector’s arc perfectly displayed how, for all the horrible things he has done, he genuinely never meant any harm because he simply cannot understand how what he is doing is wrong. He does not even understand the concept of death. I loved seeing Luz open up to him. And him attempting to apply the lesson he learned to Belos worked to both reiterate how much of a child he is while adding suspense to the scene, and his subsequent breakdown as he finally understands what death truly means was heartbreaking. On top of that, he wraps the series’s theme of people othered by society becoming a found family in a pretty little bow. He was first manipulated by the Archivists, then wrongfully imprisoned by King’s father, then manipulated once more by Belos. Of all the characters, he is the one who was the most isolated and most in need of a friend. And in the end, he finally finds some in the people who genuinely cared.
Luz, Eda, and King’s reunion was genuinely so heartwarming it made me cry. Seeing how these three have grown to care about each other so much since episode 1 is so beautiful.
Belos did not disappoint. Every scene with him, as usual, was pure tension. Pure horror. Even on his last legs, he manages to be a terrifying, devastating threat. While we had theorized about it for a while now, actually seeing him possess the Titan was as amazing as it was horrifying. But in the end, for all his ploys and schemes, he was just buying himself more time. He died in the rain, the consequences of his actions finally catching up to him. A macabre send off to an amazing villain.
The final battle was absolutely beautiful. The animation was so smooth and the visuals were gorgeous. I could not tear my eyes way from the screen for a single second.
I absolutely adored the epilogue. Seeing Hunter become a palisman carver was such a genius move. He has completely separated himself from Belos, and is happily reversing the damage his abuser caused, all while finally surrounded by people he loved. The Wild Magic University was so visually amazing, and seeing how all the characters wound up with their happy endings filled me with so much delight. I will admit, there are many loose threads I feel should have been explored, and the glimpses we got of other characters (Raine and Darius in particular) makes me disappointed we did not get to see more of the in depth, but I still loved it,
All in all, the finale encapsulated everything I loved about this series. Lighthearted comedy, loveable characters, horror and tension, heartbreak, and hope. This whole show has been such an amazing ride, and I am so glad that the end was this spectacular. For all of its many flaws. I am truly going to miss this show, and it will always hold a special place in my heart. It was a beautiful send off to such a love-filled series.

Was rambling about my thoughts on the final scene of season 3 over on reddit, and figured I might as well post it here. Sorry for a whole thesis paper, but I'm actually big mad about it and want to rant, so here goes:
I feel like they wanted to film that scene visually in one way, with each of the siblings going down a different of the 5 paths splitting off in the park (with Diego/Lila going down the same, and Luther/Klaus going down the same, leaving Ben, Five, and Viktor to take the remaining 3; the 6th path is the elevator and maybe represents Sloane)...but that makes no sense for the characters AT ALL. It doesn't even make sense solely based on the entire scene leading up to them splitting off. It’s like they decided to compromise all sense of character and relationship growth over 3 seasons for the visual of the 5 paths.
Luther and Klaus, okay. Luther obviously has his sights set on finding Sloane, and Klaus is worried about him, and he probably expects that the others will also follow, because that makes the most sense! And sure, Ben is going to leave, even if he secretly wishes they had accepted him, because he thinks he’s better off on his own. But everyone else?
Diego, as much as he tries to hide it, really loves and depends on his family. He tries to stop Luther and Klaus from running off, saying they need to stick together. He was the one there for Klaus pre-season 1 when everyone else had given up on him. He's the one to try to help Allison when she's really falling apart. Yes, he wants a family with Lila, but that isn’t independent from wanting to be with his brothers. He’d want them around to be uncles to his child. So what, he just gives up and goes in a different direction?
Viktor is so fucking happy to see Luther was alive. They’re ecstatic, going to each other for that big hug, Luther sweeping him off his feet. The two of them had gotten to the point where Luther felt closer to Viktor than any of his other brothers. And then Viktor's just going to...fuck off? He's not going to follow Klaus and Luther? He doesn't care that the woman his brother loves--that he was the best man in his wedding to--has disappeared? He’s also saying that they need to stick together to figure things out. I get that he’s disappointed in Five for charging off, but why wouldn’t he follow after Klaus and Luther?
Five spent literally his entire life searching for a way to reunite with and save his family. He spends the 1st season doing anything to save their lives, and the 2nd season working on getting them back together and now he wants to just enjoy hanging around with them in season 3--to the point of going on a road trip with Klaus and going all in on enjoying the bachelor party/wedding. If the only thing holding him to them was obligation to keep them safe, he would have fucked off after they settled in at Obsidian, once he thought things were normal. He chooses to spend time with them, even when they're annoying, because he loves them.
Now they are in a strange universe without their powers, not knowing their place here (what are their names? Who are their families?), more vulnerable than they’ve ever been, and he’s just going to let them all run off wherever? I do understand he’s probably the most driven (besides maybe Ben) to figure out what Reginald’s motivations are, and he might have been hurt that they all seem to be blaming HIM for this–Luther threatening to kick his ass, Diego cheering it on, Viktor glaring at him after the others have gone–which is incredibly unfair given that he was trying to tell everyone NOT to listen to Reginald. But he still wouldn’t want them going off where he might not be able to find them. He's going to be worried about what stupid shit they're going to get into when they can't function without their powers.
Nothing makes me angrier than when a show that has previously done right by the characters and narratives throws it all out for some cheap aesthetic. And even if 4th season is about them finding out who they are on their own, it still isn’t genuine to the characters to choose to go their separate ways. Maybe if they’d been forcibly separated by Reginald in the reboot, and can’t find each other. But we’ve seen that even as different as they are, they still care about each other and band together when it matters, so even if they’re making their own ways in life, they wouldn’t choose to abandon each other.
And it also makes me worry that we're going to start season 4 with them all leading separate lives until something brings them back together, like at the beginning of season 1--which just negates EVERYTHING they've built up over the previous 3 seasons. The whole point was that was when they were brought back together as adults and started working together and getting to understand each other better, they realise that they are a family. They don't only need each other, they *choose* each other.
So yeah, I'm just going to bury my head in the sand and keep writing my fantasy season 4 au where they all stick together, and Allison redeems herself, and they save the damn universe and get their happily ever afters.

Under a Read More for Mandalorian Season 3 Finale spoilers
Okay so, I have zero problems with the concept of Surname GivenName as a pattern. I mean, it's a very real thing, practiced by billions of people. In fact, my initial reaction when The Armorer named Grogu as "Din Grogu" was a shocked "So we've been calling Mando by the wrong fucking name?!"
BUT... as I've thought about it... it doesn't fit the lore. And I don't mean that in a "well, actually" gatekeeping kind of way.
None of the other Mandalorians appear to use a Surname first naming model:
Bo'Katan Kryze, Satine Kryze, Pre Vizsla, Paz Vizsla, Tarre Vizsla, Boba Fett, Jango Fett, Gar Saxon, Tiber Saxon, Sabine Wren, Tristan Wren, and Ursa Wren
That's a lot of Mandalorians who aren't using a Surname GivenName pattern, but in fact a GivenName Surname pattern.
SO HERE IS MY THEORY:
He is Din Grogu because he is an apprentice. Putting Din first is to identify the Mandalorian adult who is responsible for him - not his parent, necessarily, but the one who is responsible for his training.
Once he becomes an adult and swears the Creed, he'll be Grogu Djarin.
Idk. It's just a fun theory to plug a hole. What do people think?
