Everyone always assigns the F1 drivers Hogwarts houses and I’m out here deciding which members of 90s era Take That they’d be…

First you have your Gary Barlows. Insanely talented but a reputation for being the serious, mature, ‘boring’ one. Has a personality but it’s very dry and often gets lost in amongst the other stuff and so people find it hard to warm to them because of it. Business driven rather than image driven. So to me this would be Max, George, Seb, Fernando and Valtteri(?)

Then there’s your Mark Owens. The cute, popular one all the girls flock to. Talented but doesn’t feel the need to shove it in your face. Chill and laid back. Just incredibly nice. Would probably cry if they killed a fly. Just wants everyone to have a nice time. So Lewis, Charles, Mick, Esteban & Alex

Then you have your Robbie Williams. They know they’re talented and they want you to know it too. Massive personality, always the joker, enjoys being centre of attention. Wants more than what they’ve got right now. So this is quite clearly Daniel & Lando.

Then the last two categories are similar but slightly different. You have your Howard Donalds. Happy to be there, often forgotten about. Turn up, do what’s expected, nothing spectacular. Fly under the radar somewhat but still contribute to the group in their own way. So to me this is Kevin, Guanyu, Lance, Nicholas & Yuki

Then your last group is your Jason Oranges. Talented (though maybe not in the obvious sense). Relatively quiet and overlooked but absolutely has a cut throat side to them. Desperate for success but equally could bin it all off and start again in another career path cos they’ve had enough of it all. So Carlos, Checo & Pierre

And for the younger boyband fans… Gary is Liam, Mark is Niall, Robbie is Harry, Howard is Louis and Jason is Zayn
