🐈‍⬛ Sebastian's first impression of you was... not great. When he opened the front door to let you inside, you were in the midst of shouting at your butler about following rules and then you turned to him and said "It's about time!" So you were another cheeky brat like his master, it seems. The demon didn't mind you all that much though, he was used to dealing with children already.

🐈‍⬛ He was a bit shocked that you were Ciel's distant cousin, but then again your soul was just slightly similar to that of his master. While you and his young master conversed about your childhoods, Sebastian listened in from where he stood off to the side. All he could really offer your situation sympathy-wise was a short muttered "Oh."

🐈‍⬛ Upon your arrival you had brought a few members of your staff with you, which Sebastian thought of as strange since you came here to see his young master only. But he figured that you must have wanted to introduce them to your cousin. Or... to give them an example of how to do their jobs properly, from what the demon butler saw, they were just as incompetent as the Phantomhive Manor's own staff. Ugh. Such misfortune.

🐈‍⬛ Sebastian did however meet your own butler who went by the name of Trey Clover. He was quite impressed with his performance considering he was a human. Though later in the visit you had sent Trey to assist him with dessert, something about "Trey go make me a tart.". And dear me did Sebastian find out your butler can make a good ass tart.

🎩 Ciel was quite shocked to find that he had any family left after Madam Red's unfortunate passing. You looked a bit similar to his aunt as well, but you quickly clarified that you were his distant cousin twice removed. The young earl was definitely taken aback at your intense dedication to the rules your mother raised you with. Ciel was even more shocked that you hold your staff to the same rules and behead those who disobey.

🎩 Truth be told he finds you quite childish and audacious, such rules are utterly ridiculous, and he tells you so. Fortunately, you can't bring yourself to behead Ciel and the two of you delve into a long talk about your differing childhoods. He learned of your mother and what she put you through, but he can't help but be envious that you still have your parent, even if they aren't the best. Ciel doesn't tell you that though.

🧹 Poor Meyrin is terrified of you! She was moving a stack of expensive china plates from the storage room to the kitchen and as she walked through the tea room, past you and the young master, she tripped! The plates sailed to the ground and broke on impact. As Meyrin turned to apologize, she was met with a very angry you, shouting about how she should be beheaded for her mistake.

🧹 Thankfully one of your staff, Ace, made up some excuse that calmed you down and helped her up. Meyrin instantly fell in love, he was such a 'kind gentleman'. How he looked in her eyes with that boyish smirk and said, "Let's get outta here.", she couldn't hold herself together and sprinted out of the room in embarrassment.

🧯 Baldroy is peak annoyed with you, he already has the young master, he doesn't need another spoiled child to deal with. He was 'cooking' in the kitchen, right, trying to make something for the esteemed guest. So he did the usual, light a stick of dynamite and toss it in the oven, right? Then the oven exploded and Baldroy could hear your shouting all the way from the game room.

🧯 You ended up sending in one of your staff to check out what happened in the kitchen and that's how he met Deuce. Baldroy thought he was a pretty nice kid even if he too had no idea how to cook without being destructive either. He also found the interest in pots to be weird. "Let's just use a pot!" "Eh!? Steak in a pot?"

🪴 You scare Finny sometimes, yes, but he knows that deep down you're probably really nice. While both you and the young master were sitting in the garden having tea, he accidentally let a hedgehog loose. However, his suspicions were proved right when he noticed that you had picked up the hedgehog and sat it on your lap, petting it as if it were a cat.

🪴 A member of your staff named Cater had literally bumped into him while he was walking past the newly installed rose hedges. He and Finny got along swimmingly as they spoke about their shared interests with one another. He also found that Cater really enjoyed taking photographs in his free time.

Note : A fanfic I wrote instead of studying, inspired by Tolerate it by Taylor Swift. It's my first time writing a fic and English is not my first language, so please bear with me.

As I watch him run his hands through his hair, grumbling about the conversation that we just had a few whiles back, it was obvious that he was upset. Mad even.

Where did this squabble even start? As far as I can recall, he came home again today at an ungodly pleasing time, being tired and pent-up about this reoccurring habit, I have finally spoken up about it.

Which he did not appreciate, not even one bit.

We used to handle disagreements so well, well…used too as time goes by, came with hurdles between us that shaken our bond. This makes me ponder, was there ever a bond in the first place?

“ What do you want me to do about it?”

Was all of this even worth it? Can this even be salvaged? All of this is coming down on to me, rethinking all the times he's been like this. Refusing to make amends. Refusing to take fault. To communicate.

“ I don't know. What do you want? “

Sebastian does not like it when I talk back. In every 'misunderstandings' that we have, he always makes it seem like everything was my fault. That I was to blame.

“ You wanted this. “ I did? I wanted this?

“ I never asked for this. I never asked for your absence, for your lack of affection. I never asked for neglect! “

With every word that comes out of my mouth, I hold myself back from raising my voice, for I know that it would only make things worse.

“ I do not know what you're talking about. I have given you everything you wanted, everything you've wished for. What else do you want?”

What else do I want? You. I want you. Though I can not say that aloud for my pride is holding me down. To add context, Sebastian has been out a lot these past few weeks. I understand it, I really do. Being a butler is no easy job, but you see. . . On his days off, he'd rather stay out than return, or sometimes he'd rather not go back home at all. I miss him, and for him to act as if it does not affect him one bit answers my debate.

“ I can't do this anymore.” I leave my place and enter my, our bedroom and grabbed a bag. I started packing my clothes and all of my other essentials, while he just stands there in disbelief.

“ You can't do what exactly? “ Unlike before, his voice and tone was less sharp and harsh.

“ Sebastian, I can't continue living like this anymore. We agreed on sticking on each other's side, and you go on leaving me all alone in this damn house. You don't even bother on coming home, either.”

I stood up, zipping my bag, it was full to the brim. Stepping out of the room, I gather as much courage, looking at this damn demon's eyes. God. I miss him. I miss him, but this is too much. It's getting too painful.

“ Sebastian. I think. . . This is for the best.”

“ Do what your heart desires. Leave.”

He remained stoic. Does it hurt him as much as it hurts me? Does he really not want this in the first place? Was I a fool into thinking that loving a demon would actually be alright? He's a demon, for fuck's sake! Was he just tolerating me? I barely even knew who he was, but I was contented. I was contented with what we have. What he had. I did not love him less.

“ I wish you well, Sebastian. Take care.” I try my hardest to not break down on the spot, to not run back to his arms and sob, to not hysterically cry on the ground. I turned around and grabbed my bag.

He did not utter a word. As I stepped out, he closed the door and with a click the door was locked.

You were partially concerned for your well being, both Sebastian and Lucifer being well known demons of their domains meant that they don’t take kindly to their time being wasted. But you had nothing to fear. Lucifer and Sebastian were both interested in you and who were you to deny the pair a chance to impress you?

“What’s the worst that can happen? If anything goes south I’ll yell for help ;)” You sent a reply to your friend as you applied perfume.

*Alright Y/N, let's fall in love…* you spoke to yourself as you headed out of the door to the dinner that would change your life.

The restaurant was located in a popular spot of the city. Sounds of the people who inhabited it meshed together with the loud lights and use of the train and metric system moving people from one side of the city to the next. You fit in nicely with the busy city crowd.

“Here it is…” you spoke aloud, you had made it to the restaurant. ℒℯ 𝒯𝒶𝒾𝓃𝓉ℯ shined above the small building in a soft white glow. *Of all places,* you murmured to yourself. Let's get this over with.

As you made your way into the restaurant, you nodded to the waiter to be guided to the table where the possible suitors sat. To say you were prepared for what you would see would be an understatement. As the two demons were….slayed to the gods as one would say.

Lucifer wore a deep red suit, complemented with black diamonds on the shoulder and sides of his coat. His pants matched as the diamonds lined the seams. His hands were adorned with gloves as black as his soul…and his makeup gave his face a soft blush, almost as if he had some amount of innocence.

Sebastian was also dressed to impress, wearing a fine tailored suit that snatched his body in the right places, and broadened his build in others. You were drawn to his waist at first, ignoring how his thighs sat next to Lucifers allowing them to fill the entirety of the booth they shared. You were staring so hard that you didn’t realize how weird it was that they sat on the same side.

“Do you see something you like my dear?” Sebastian smiled as he stood to guide you to the table, taking your bag from you so you could sit down. Lucifer took a sip of his wine as he watched the interaction, waiting for an appropriate time to speak.

Finally you gathered the courage to first breathe, and then open your mouth to speak to the both of them.

“Ahem..Uh, thank you for both for …meeting me here. I wanted to honor both of your requests to take me out to dinner, by..well, inviting you both out. I want to give you both a chance to impress me. Whoever wins can take me home!” You smiled, then pulled out some lip gloss to reapply as you waited for one of the two men to respond.

There was an awkward silence between the three of them that ensued, even the rest of the patrons in the restaurant seemed to dim their conversations down. Sebastian smiled warmly and Lucifer took yet another sip of wine before chiming in to the conversation at hand.

“Y/N….do you take the both of us as some sort of fools?”

“Wh-what..” you paused, not prepared for Lucifer’s response.

“Hmm I think they do take us as fools, considering we’re all sitting here staring at one another.” Sebastian chimed in as well rubbing the bottom of his chin as he sat up in the booth.

Lucifer nodded in agreement, “This was never meant to be a competition between the two of us my sweet, you were to pick who you would have preferred…”

“To pick your poison was the task at hand.” Sebastian said, finishing the sentence before Lucifer could, his face falling to a stern expression. The guise of his smile quickly fading.

“Uhm, well I couldn’t choose so I figured the both of you could fight over me..since I am so desired.” You bit your bottom lip in an effort to swoon the demons to change their stern expression. Your attempts, falling short.

Sebastian reached out to lift your chin up glancing at how your layered gold necklace glistened under the light of the table. He then pulled back, looking at Lucifer.

“We decided that we are both too important to try to “fight” for your attention. Especially in public, I think it would be better to settle this…in the bedroom.” Sebastian spoke with a low growl in his voice, not trying to cause a scene but also letting you know that you were on thin ice with the both of them.

“I agree Sebastian, this isn’t a matter for the public, but something we can determine…in private. Come now Y/N…” Lucifer laid out a pair of hundred dollar bills on the table to pay for the wine he drank and together Sebastian and he took hold of your hands as you all left the restaurant.

The car ride that followed was silent with a deep layer of dread interlaced. You were tempted to text your friend to come rescue you, but you were also excited to see how the night would play out. You pictured a bed full of roses and champagne to greet you as you entered the bedroom. You relied on those fantasies as the car made its way to Lucifer's condo. A place he rented outside of the House of Lamentation.

Soon enough the group made their way to the destination and you were kindly escorted out of the vehicle by the two men.

As everyone entered the room, you were not in fact met with the roses and champagne you pictured, but with a seemingly regular bedroom. You’d be lying if you said you weren’t a little disappointed.

“So…are you both still upset with me?” You spoke as you sat on the bed and took off your shoes. The two demons followed. They hadn’t broken their stern gaze with you since the restaurant.

“Y/N, we aren’t upset with you, we just want to aid you in your decision on who to choose between us. You sit here,” Lucifer guided you to sit on the couch across from the bed. Once you were settled Lucifer turned back to Sebastian.

“Shall we show our love what they are missing out on?” Lucifer flashed a smile to you before beginning to strip his clothes off. Sebastian had turned on the playlist that you and him usually shared together, the sensual music providing a melody for Lucifer to continue his show.

“Luci-“ You stuttered as you watched him. Lucifer’s hips were like a magnet, swerving to the beat as he swiftly got himself undressed. You barely had time to come out of the trance before Sebastian had joined Lucifer. His strong hands made his way down Lucifer's waist, groping and grabbing as he went down. Your face was flushed with tears and fresh marks from the night's activities. Every part of you had been filled, and you wouldn’t have it any other way.

“Have you made your choice my love?” Lucifer pondered as he prepared to start after care for the three of them, massaging different sore parts of your body as Sebastian cleaned you off.

“I…I think I choose a fucking nap…” you responded, too tired to give a proper answer.

Sebastian looked at Lucifer and tried not to laugh from your honesty. Lucifer stroked your hair and continued to pamper you. It didn’t take long for the three of them to finally get cleaned off to be able to sleep.

The two demons snuggled with you in between them, ready to ask you who you would choose again in the morning.

Summary: It's Valentine's Day!~ Your favorite characters' time to shine when confessing their love for you. How might they go about it?

Notes: This is a bit rushed for Valentine's Day, but at least it's here!! I may end up writing for White Day as well, who knows? The reader in this case is referred to as gender neutral in most cases, but the gifts are lenient towards female readers.

Ciel Phantomhive

☆ Ciel would plan everything out beforehand, making sure that he could treat you to a night out to dinner or something nicer than usual. Maybe he'll have a stay-at-home date and have Sebastian make your favorites, or even host a ball in your honor where he could publicly confess to you the way a noble should.

☆ His gifts might consist of sweets, plushes, and more from the Funtom Corporation. Not to mention he'd somehow manage to get his hands on all of your favorite pastries, just how you like them. Along with sweets and a snuggly companion, a dress//suit designed perfectly to suit your taste was sent to you the day prior to inviting you over.

Sebastian Michaelis

☆ Ah yes, you are quite lucky indeed to have a demon wrapped around your finger. Like the gentleman he is, he's set up a dance for the two of you in the manor with his young master's permission. Most likely later in the day, making sure to shoo off the other servants with their duties before taking your hand to sway with the music. No worries if you can't dance, he'll guide you.

☆ Before "dancing the night away" with you by his side, Sebastian took it upon himself to present you with a beautiful bouquet of assorted red and black roses. This was along with a silver gemstone ring of your favorite color, both of your initials engraved on the inside. He slipped it on your finger with the sly wording of, "This will not be the last time we find ourselves in a position like this, my dear."

Baldroy

☆ Baldroy is a man who can enjoy the simple things, not often wishing for much more. For you however, he decided an inside dinner by the candlelight would be suitable. Rather than indulging you inside the Phantomhive Manor itself, he's booked a table far earlier than necessary at a fancy restaurant in town.

☆ Somehow he managed to make the moment of you both leaving after a nice meal romantic as well, taking out a necklace he had hand picked out just for you out of a small box and carefully hooking the clasp around your neck. Baldroy took a step back and gave you his signature toothy grin accompanied by a wink, "Look how pretty ya are now my darlin', even if ya were already pretty before."

Mey-Rin

☆ Much like Baldroy, Mey-Rin can enjoy the simple things with pleasure. She may not have booked a fancy restaurant for you, but she convinced Sebastian to let the two of you use the kitchen for the afternoon. You had a fun and playful baking date, which ended with flour and sugar covering both of your faces, the floor, and just about anything else in the room. You were both enjoying laughing yourselves to death though, so it was worth the clean-up.

☆ Along with the sweets you managed to bake, Mey-Rin brought you a box of assorted chocolates hidden behind her back. Yelling out, "Suprise! D' ya like them?" Not long after she took you to her servant's courters and pulled out a white present box wrapped up tightly in a red ribbon. Waiting for you inside was different glass containers of your favorite scents.

Finnian

☆ This boy would go to the ends of the earth for you if you let him, and Valentine's Day seemed like the perfect chance to prove this to you in his eyes. Although he was stuck on how to show his love for you for quite a bit of time, he eventually came to the bright idea of a date in the garden. Laid out for the two of you was a picnic blanket with a variety of goods, and afterwards a cuddle session wrapped up tightly in Finny's arms.

☆ Trying his hardest, Finnian picked out a charm bracelet with different combinations to match your personality. He also prepared a slightly messy bouquet of different flowers he had grown himself in the garden of the Manor, mainly consisting of colors that were meant to represent the two of you. Maybe his choices weren't the nicest when put together, but it's the effort that counts.

Snake

☆ Snake is nervous and bothered that he might mess up his chance until the very moment you go to meet him. He didn't go all out, but he did manage to set up a little stargazing date for the two of you. His actual confession would be the hardest for him, even trying to use his own voice rather than having his snakes speak for him.

☆ As for gifts, he did what he could manage and asked around the other servants for advice. In the end he settled for a small bouquet of red roses, and little matching snake rings. He definitely got scared that you wouldn't like the rings, thinking they may have been more leaning towards his interests over yours. To his relief, upon receiving your gifts, the stars you had been watching couldn't compare to the ones in your eyes.

note ; this took ages to look up and research in order to try and not lock the insert into any specific tribe or tribal family for their native side — given how broad and diverse they are. hopefully this came across and wasn’t too disappointing to the requester or anyone else who might have been looking for a very specific type of representation.

Alois Trancy

this man isn’t the most sensitive or understanding in general — so he wouldn’t necessarily ‘get’ or question your religious practises

like if you’re spiritual and perform smudging in the manor then you’re only really going to irritate his demonic staff and prevent them from entering certain rooms for a while

on the other end of the spectrum, smudging is an excellent way of keeping claude and the triplets out of your rooms if you’re annoyed

this would amuse alois for sure — but his interests would be focused exclusively on the aesthetic and story based aspects of your culture

he loves listening to you as you explain the folklores and mythologies of your two heritages — wide eyed and quiet for once as he takes in everything you have to say

he has a particular preference for creatures and deities that explore the gorier aspects of life, and he’ll ask you to retell them often, but he’ll listen to any story you have to tell

and if you participate in cultural crafts like beadwork or shodo or anything along those lines, then he’ll gladly fund your work and might even pay you to make things for his person, his peers or just to display about the estate

he’ll also ensure that you’re never without clothing from your cultures and would prefer you wear it over things from england — be that a selection of richly dyed kimonos for you to wear during galas, or importing regalia from your tribe for you to wear during traditional dances and such if that’s something you partake in

if your tribe partakes in the tradition of getting facial tattoos, then he’ll be incredibly interested in their history and meaning for you

will celebrate and observe holidays that aren’t on the british calendar with you — whether that’s national foundation day, or something that requires travel abroad like a powwow

and in the same vein, he’s not afraid to send his servants after anyone who disrespects you whilst at his manor

Our!Ciel Phantomhive

ciel has a particular interest in the culinary/confectionary side of your dual cultures and would be very invested in trying and recreating the dishes you grew up eating

that, of course, includes sweet things like candies and desserts

(his favourites are dango and saututhig)

but it also applies to meals — especially those associated with specific holidays

so, for example, he would have sebastian recreate the seasonal flavours of namagashi if you opt to take part in any tea ceremonies

or he might recreate some festival foods like okonomiyaki or yakitori when it’s the right season

or if you’re craving something from a powwow, he’ll ensure you have access to things like corn soup, fry bread and so on

he never wants you to be without the comfort foods you grew up with, nor the things you crave

so he has the staff modify the manor’s menu and meal rotation to incorporate more foods from japan and from your tribe

(which is a relief as british food isn’t the most flavourful in the world)

he also insists on trying to learn whichever language (or languages) you’re comfortable with so he’s able to connect and understand more of his future spouse’s culture and world views

he struggles immensely with japanese, specifically with forming his kanji for some reason, but his pronunciation is pretty spot on

but he manages to pick up the language of your tribe pretty quickly

so he’d probably prefer to speak to you using that tongue if he wished to mention something privately

he’s also keenly aware of the history of conflicts faced by native americans — as well as the bigotry faced by immigrants in the uk

he did his fair share of studying at the beginning of your relationship and, well, he has eyes and the situational awareness to recognise how you were being treated

this makes him incredibly protective of you — he trusts you to take care of yourself (you are engaged to the queen’s watchdog, after all), but that doesn’t mean that he expects you to put up with outright horrific treatment by his peers or his people

in other words: sebastian and the rest of the phantomhive staff get some free target practise courtesy of people that insult the lord of the house’s fiancé

Real!Ciel Phantomhive

this man is the sort to spoil his partner however he can at every opportunity — and you are far from the exception

any food that you’re craving, he’ll have the ingredients imported and will hire a specialty chef (or train one) to make it for you

any clothing you desire, he’ll have hand made and imported

if you miss your family or wish to go home to celebrate a holiday, he’ll arrange a trip to the americas or to japan and send you there with supplies and gifts to spare

he’ll usually try to go with you, but there are times where his schedule just doesn’t allow it so you’ll be travelling alone (with dozens of personal attendants)

he’ll study every language you speak independently, learning them whilst you’re away in order to surprise you when you get home

he’ll decorate the manor with pieces of art that represent both of the cultures you come from — or pieces that were made by yourself/your relatives

if there are any local sports or games that you enjoy, he’ll arrange for them to happen at the estate

he’s an excellent partner in that regard

but he puts his business and reputation above a lot of the things he should be doing for you

like yes he’ll spoil and indulge and learn for you

but if one of his most important investors says something offensive then he won’t do anything to stop it

at most he’ll encourage them to keep that talk to his office, but usually he’ll just laugh along and encourage you to grin and bear it

he wants to defend you, really, but he can’t risk plummeting his business because of it

he doesn’t have the means to get rid of someone without it looking suspect — which would tank his reputation and out both of you at risk

if he can punish someone for being cruel, he will — like a staff member of his or someone on the streets

but most of the time he really can’t — so the most he can do is try to keep you away from it all

as his father taught him, his duties to his country and his business come first — only then can he be a husband and lover

Sebastian Michaelis

he spends most of his time with you switching between japanese and the language of your tribe — mainly because he doesn’t like the idea of anyone (or anything) listening in on your combinations and seeing him in such a vulnerable state

he has an incredibly low tolerance for any mistreatment of you (actual or perceived) and, unless instructed otherwise by his master, will just eliminate them immediately after their transgression

a lot of the time you don’t even realise what happened — only that someone is now missing

but you’re usually able to put the pieces together

if you have an argument, he’s usually able to gather how mad you are based on how many rooms have been cleansed and he’s no longer able to enter

the worst argument you had, to date, ended with you cleansing the entire manor and locking him to the outside and the basement for a whole week

(ciel found it hilarious)

if you’re ever feeling homesick, it’s a cakewalk for sebastian to get you back to your family — you can be there one day and back in england the next

but good luck explaining to either side of your family that you’re courting a demon

if you’re artsy and like creating things to honour your heritage then he’ll indulge you, fetching you the necessary materials and displaying the final result proudly

he has met both sides of your family and has scared the crap out of a few relatives when they accidentally almost cleansed him out of a room

(not a fun conversation to have)

he’s an excellent cook (naturally) and is more than happy to indulge any cravings you have for foods that aren’t a commonly sold thing in england

of course he’ll encourage you to eat full, hearty meals because he wants you to be as taken care of as possible, but he can’t say no to his mate and will usually give in if you’re particularly desperate for sweet things or street foods

he gives you a number of nicknames based on new or traditional pet names from your cultures

for example, some japanese pet names he might use are ‘ダーリン’ (daarin), ‘ハニー’ (hanii) (these are mainly used in notes sent to each other) — or, when speaking, he might something more traditional like calling you your given name or an a version with the appropriate suffix (depending on your preference)

and, of course, any other pet names depends on the tribe you’re from

Of course he had met succubus's and other demons like them but they had never flirted with him because he was another demon.

He would have never expected you to be so forward.

Although he must admit he does like it.

Though you really have to learn to pick better times to throw pick up lines at him.

You could be in the middle of a mission with Ciel and then you'd be asking if he was free tomorrow even though you knew he was.

At first Grell was very jealous of you but when that wore off you two became very close friends.

Ronald

We all know this man a canonically a big flirt but it was surprising to him that he took such an interest in you despite the fact you are a demon.

Even more surprising was the fact that you flirted back.

Though he not complaining in the slightest.

He tries to play everything cool but you know under that unbothered façade he's asking himself how he got so lucky.

Your relationship is very fun since neither of you like to be to serious.

Undertaker

He doesn't like demons but your different.

When he first saw you he disliked you because you were a demon but as he spent more time with you the less he hated you.

He thought you were very funny when you joking asked him out but as time went on he started seriously considering you.

That was how your relationship started and honestly it was great.

Both of you loved to joke around and you were known as fun loving couple.

Another perk of being with a demon is that you two will never be separated by death.

Why was Ciel being so calm? He hadn't even moved- the only other people who seemed alarmed were the other servants which calmed you significantly in the sense of at least this wasn't normal. You were moving from your chair to go to Grell when Sebastian beat you to it as he placed a hand on Grell's shoulder.

"There is no need for that." Grell turned to face Sebastian, only for Sebastian to continue speaking, "Just think of the mess you would make. It would take hours to clean up all the blood." And for some reason Grell looked up at him with admiration

What. The. FUCK.

Who even says that!?

Suddenly you felt heated.

"Sebastian. Fucking. Michaelis." Your voice wasn't a shout but it wasn't a polite volume either.

Alois hiring a bodyguard and falling in love headcanons + oneshot

-initially Alois didn’t think a bodyguard was necessary, Claude was pretty decent at protecting him while Hannah and/or the triplets fought for him

-that was until there were enough men outside his manor to leave not a single spot of ground seen. there were enough random men inside his manor to leave no floor untouched.

-things escalated very quickly, all of them had guns or grenades of some sort, LUCKILY though the triplets took care of the grenades

-however, Alois literally begged Claude to hide him, or hide with him, somewhere under his mansion, insisting that he was too scared to be alone and didn’t want Claude to leave him

-Claude made sure to hide him deep deep in the mansion somewhere, assuring that things will end okay and that he’ll be back soon

-Like Claude assured Alois, everything turned out okay, all the men were either dead or they retreated to wherever they even came from

-Alois was very obviously upset at Claude for leaving him, although thankful that everything turned out fine, Alois begged to not be alone, and Claude still left.

-“Have you considered hiring someone else, perhaps a bodyguard who can and will be with you at all times?”

- Alois pretty much just 👁⚫️👁 at Claude

-“ You’re right, Claude!”

Alois waited by the manor door nervously, it had been a little over a week since he asked Claude to go over potential bodyguards locally or otherwise. Claude had informed Alois a few days prior to this moment, that he found someone who may be up to his standards or even Claude’s standards (they’re pretty high) and they’d be visiting within the week.

Alois is just waiting for that knock on the wooden doors. Words literally could not explain how excited he was, or how intrigued, almost as if last week’s incident never happened. Claude mentioned that this person was hardworking, a lil extroverted and probably almost perfect for what Alois was looking for. Alois whipped the door open as soon as he heard the first split second of a knock, only to see a milk man standing there with 2 crates of milk in his hands. With a ‘thank you’ to the man and ‘goodbye’, Alois shut the door slowly in disappointment, calling to Claude that the milk had just been delivered. As Claude turns to take the milk to the manor’s kitchen, Alois pipes up. “Claude, what if they don’t show up? Surely they’d be here by now right?” Alois frowns, irritated and disgusted at himself for getting his hopes up just to be crushed once again. “I’m sure they will be arriving soon, your highness. They didn’t give a specific time or day that they’d be here. Please, wait a while longer.” Claude says, continuing to the kitchen after falling silent.

Did the doorbell just ring? No, my mind is playing tricks on me. *Ding* “It rung!!! The doorbell just rung! Claude, come quickly!” For a second time, those doors flung open to reveal a person, kinda just standing there staring at him, entirely spaced out. Claude appears behind Alois, bowing and greeting them. “Your highness, this is the bodyguard.” Exiting the daze you were in, you, standing in front of them, bowed as well, “Sorry! My name is (y/n), I was told that,” They stop and look at Alois with an unsure gaze, “…..you? I’m assuming, needed a bodyguard, and well, thats my job :)!Apologies again, I meant to come earlier but got caught up with stuff, but I’m here now!”

Alois grabbed your hand, yoinkin them into the mansion with a huge grin on his face. After Alois settled down a bit he explained the entire situation he got himself into, how he threatened a group of men who he didn’t know were in a gang, and suddenly their entire clan showed up a week ago, and then how desperate he was to stay safe. You looked at him with a concerned look on your face, “that must have been very difficult for you to go through, I understand it somewhat. I’ll be here, you will have more people to protect you and keep you safe, okay?”A wave of comfort washed over Alois, he had felt like all of his problems had become trivial in that moment. “Thank you, (y/n).” Alois stood there with a wide smile across his face. Alois almost rarely says thank you, even Claude was a bit shocked.

Nearly 4 months of working for Alois had obviously been somewhat difficult. Alois is very bipolar and lets his emotions scatter out of control at any given moment. One minute he’s “You’re never there for me (even tho you quite literally are), I don’t know why you still want to work for me, I bet you’re only here to hurt me or take my money,” to “I’m so glad you’re here, (y/n)! Without you I’d be dead. Thank you for existing and being in my life, please never leave me!” Alois does love you, he is just so caught up in his past trauma (reasonably so) and the fact that there are multiple people after him, so he does not know a healthy way to show that he cares. One night it was particularly quiet in the manor, Alois had requested Claude to look for you and tell you to come to his room. When you knocked and entered, it would’ve been pitch black without the candle on the side table for his bed. “Alois?” There was a faint sob under his blanket, he just wanted to be heard. “Alois, I’m here, what’s the matter?” Alois lifted and unfolded the blanket from covering his head, tears and snot running down his face while his soaked pillow laid flat behind him. This is the worst you have seen him since you’ve worked here. “I am so scared, (y/n). There are always people just waiting to become my enemy and hurt me! I don’t know what to do. I feel so helpless. You’re here for me aren’t you?”

“Of course I am, you know I am. I willingly came here in order to protect you. I care about you a lot. Your feelings do matter to me.” Alois choked on a sob before reaching to hold your hand, wiping his tears away with the other and placing your hand on his chest, right above his heart. You locked eyes for almost an entire minute before Alois spoke up. “This is because of you. Please stay here forever, I don’t want you to ever leave.” When you took your hand away from Alois’ chest, his heart began to race, thinking he had said too much. “I’ve told you that I am willingly here and if I wanted to leave I would have already done so. I am here for you and nothing else, do not ever worry about me leaving, because I will not. I am promising this to you.” Alois turned away for a second, causing you to think you said too much. Alois looked back at you, tear trail stained cheeks, and replied, “You know, (y/n), you are living proof I am capable of loving, and also being loved.” You placed a gentle kiss on Alois’ forehead before telling him that it’s late and he has work to do early tomorrow, blowing out his candle and letting the moon be the only light in the room. You did as you promised and didn’t leave his side until he fell asleep, making sure to check up on his state every 15 minutes.

Alois genuinely loved you, more than Claude probably.
