Firstly, wanna say, very based of you to be a Gwen Stacy enjoyer. Secondly, how did ya come around to liking her character? Was it the Amazing Spider-Man films? The Spider-Verse films? A secret unknown third thing?
If I had to guess my first real exposure to Gwen was Spectacular Spider-Man! Then it was the Amazing Spider-Man films that really solidified me as a Gwen Stacy Fan. Then at some point I started seeing Spider-Gwen art on Tumblr and found out that was a thing that was happening in the comics and promptly went insane when eventually they revealed she would be in Spider-Verse, a movie I had been excited about ever since the Sony email leaks mentioned “an animated spider-man comedy from Lord and Miller”

500 CALIBER CONTRACTZ Post #9
TRAILER & TITLE REVEAL!!!!!11 :
These posts are gonna have the game's title rather than ".50 Caliber 3D Platformer" from now on, just a heads up. I finally got a trailer together! Most of it was shoddily put together in window movie maker as god intended, and the final bits where made with blender / sony vegas. It was a bit rushed to meet a deadline, but I'm quite happy with it. The wonderful nu metal track in the trailer was donated by Shinigami who will also be commissioned to do a few tracks in the game itself! I honestly don't have much more to say about the trailer other than it was fun 2 make.

Making a logo was easily the biggest hurdle I had to cross before getting a trailer out. I've known for a while that I wanted the game to be called "500 CALIBER CONTRACTZ", but I knew that making a logo befitting of such a name would take some work. I ended up gathering references from artists such as crooixe and just kinda put them in a big folder to mull over. After enough of that, I got to work with pen on paper and sketched this up:

As we all know, any logo worth a damn has an unreadable subtitle that has its own slightly more readable subtitle to clarify what it says.

Sorry I couldn't go more in depth about the process in this post. I've been quite buzy. I'm about to be off on a trip, so I wont be able to get any work done for the next week or so. I'll be back after that with more updates about tha game. See ya then, and enjoy your week.

if you're doing roe affirmations or affirmations in general and also have problems remembering to affirm or get lazy/bored, I highly recommend downloading the parrot app or the self pause app on any device you've got. I should also mention that i have adhd so listening to my affirmations while doing anything and everything I want is so much more effective for me.
i recorded myself saying three afformations -
Regardless of everything, why do I manifest anything I want instantly?
Why do I always enter the void instantly after affirming once?
Why is everything in my life so perfect?
And I listened to them for the entire day for two days in just one bluetooth earbud. Then I decided to add one more affirmation
Regardless of everything, every time I fall asleep i always wake up in the void seconds later, completely aware, no matter what.
I listen to these affirmations throughout the day on a loop at a low volume like any other subliminal, but the fortunate thing is since I am using a bluetooth earbud, I put my overear sony headphones on and can jam to music, watch videos, or play video games. i also don't have to worry about affirming enough or whatever, this is pretty much fool proof. ah, should also mention that it's great for longer affirmations in case ya have trouble remembering the exact wording in their entirety.
Should also mention that I listen to a sub playlist while I sleep that is meant to completely bypass any doubts or resistance and whatever, plus some void-based subliminals.
So far, I'm in the middle of my third day, and plan to keep going and going and going for as long as needed, but I will do a progress check when a full week has passed.
With the idea of 'regardless of everything, and 'no matter what' I do feel a great sense of peace because I don't need to worry about doubting or wavering or resistance (best believe I still keep a strict mental diet, however) affecting my manifestations. So, I highly recommend this for people who are tired of struggling or worrying or doubting themselves and their power.
Write yourself some ROE and NMW affirmations/afformations/askformations about anything you want. Record yourself saying them. And then loop them throughout the day in the background. Listen on repeat for a week and see what happens. 🤷
I already know I'm gonna be posting a void success story soon, I get more and more excited every day.

As you can see, the box is actually a collector's box with 4 CDs + a bonus case with a few alternative covers!! ((o(*>ω<*)o)) The included CDs are the Persona 3 Original Soundtrack, the Persona 3 FES Original Soundtrack, Burn My Dread -Reincarnation Persona 3- and the Persona 4 Original Soundtrack! This collector's box was limited to Amazon and Sony Music Shop in Japan, so it's a rare item! Ever since discovering it, I had been stalking it on Surugaya and lost a previous chance... When I got that e-mail a month ago, I started tapping at the speed of light to make sure I would get it this time (and I did uwu)! This is the Amazon version of the box; the Sony Music Shop version is a black box with white letters. I would have been okay with either one, but this was the one I preferred!! \(^o^)/
The other two CDs, which I bought separately, are Persona 3 Original Desktop Accessory (an enhanced CD that, in addition to two music tracks, has wallpapers, a screensaver, and a few voice clips for most of the characters in the game and was given out as a pre-order bonus for Persona 3 in Japan) and the Persona 3 Portable Original Soundtrack! I've already messed around with Persona 3 Original Desktop Accessory, and let me tell you, it is a PAIN IN THE ASS on Windows 10! (•ˋ _ ˊ•) I guess I should have expected as much from a 2006 CD meant to run on the Japanese version of Windows XP, but all I could get copied was the two tracks and most, not all of the voice clips. The wallpapers just straight up refused to copy. I went as far as to download a Windows XP virtual machine... only for the CD to not even be recognized by the VM??? So, I— gracefully— give the fuck up.
I won't be sharing these CDs because, except for Persona 3 Original Desktop Accessory, they are by no means hard to get (or just download elsewhere xD). If you don't want to deal with importing, they're on Amazon, CDJapan, eBay, the English Suruga-ya website, and Goods Republic, among others. If you're familiar with importing, these CDs pop up on any Japanese website you can get CDs from. They're not doujin, and DEFINITELY not in any danger of being lost.
THAT SAID, I'M SO HAPPYYYYY!!! ^^ Gonna go rip the tracks from the rest of the CDs now!

Fio Media Log #1: Gen 1 Armored Core Trilogy

I'm a mecha gal. I love my robots. but I especially love me some clunky "real robot" style mechs. I only got into Armored Core with 6, and i've decided to take a plunge into the first generation games with, admittedly, not too high of expectations.
And lemme tell ya. I was pretty blown away at how fun these are!
Visuals
Let me start off with the visuals, holy shit do I LOVE the visuals of these games. I grew up with the PS1 as my first console, playing Twisted Metal (Darkside main btw) is one of my earliest memories. I really adore the games that have come out recently emulating the PSX style (Psuedoregalia, Signalis, Ultrakill, etc.)
The blocky aesthetic lends itself well to mecha. A lot of the genre likes to build it's robots in simple, blocky shapes so Bandai can easily make model kits of them, and there's no shortage of obvious design inspiration among ACs

The first mission, which subtly informs you of a theme of the series, has you being paid to go murder some workers striking for better pay and benefits and some other stuff that probably could've been bought with the money they used to hire a 5 meter tall death robot but hey. not our department.

The pitch black background and illuminated bridge makes for some lovely moody atmosphere. A LOT of 1st gen is going to be same-y hallways and tunnels but when they go through the extra effort to make a place look like a place it ends up very nice.
The Controls
Hooooo boy. This was a STRUGGLE for me at first. See this lil game was released a month after Sony's dualshock controllers, the ones with actual analogue sticks and not just a d-pad, hit the market. Which means this highly technical game is going to make you control deliberately hard-to-pilot machines without any sticks! (and they wouldn't add support for them until 7 years later!!!)
I found the stock control scheme where Up/Down was moving forward back, Left/Right was Turn, L1/R1 was strafe, and L2/R2 was aim up/down COMPLETELY unhandlable. Brain could not parse it. But to my shock there was an option in the game settings to rebind the controls! Making all the d-pad buttons be movement and all the shoulder buttons camera controls made things click right away. But that's just for basics. As for advanced movement…. welllll.

Meet [13th Toll], the build I did most of the game on after spending a lot of time experimenting and testing.
You'll notice she's a quad leg type AC! that's because the quad leg type trades the ability to boost on the ground for the ability to have consistent fast movement, meaning you can move fast without actually being good at the game's movement. It was absolutely a crutch but the game never threw anything hard enough at me to stop using said crutch. The gatling gun arms just felt better than any gun in the game having a huge amount of damage and ammo… at the cost of absolutely financially ruining me. @ @
See. Every mission in Armored Core has a base pay, occasionally bonus pay or penalties, and then that pay is deducted by how many resources you used in the mission. Repair Cost is how much damage you took, and Ammo cost is how many bullets/shells/rockets/etc you chewed through. And let me tell you the Gatling Arms are strong but they cost so much money to fire that i ended up LOSING money on several missions due to operating costs.
Scrounging for cash is definitely part of the AC experience, it's not shy about it's anti-capitalist messages, going into enough debt due to failing missions or not performing well enough actually resets the game, having your character undergo experimental augmentation to make them better at paying off the debt presumably (this is kind of an easy mode. I never triggered it as I wanted to do all three games without it. Felt like it was the authentic experience)
The control scheme as noted is incredibly clunky, but in a way that feels befitting of a mech. In AC6 the combat and controls are incredibly streamlined and feel as good as it gets for the most part. But AC1 takes a real-robot approach and imposes some serious limits to how you can move and aim. It genuinely feels like you're fighting the controls trying to aim at a fast moving plane or an AC boosting past you. It's a unique feeling that leaves the player feeling less like an ultra powerful death robot and more a poor pilot desperately wishing something could turn faster than it physically can. I'm a big fan.
I blew through AC 1 all things considered, aside from that horrifically frustrating final mission. (platforming in a game with the worst camera controls ever took years off my life.)
It wasn't a cakewalk per say, but i never felt incredibly pressed to improve my skill or optimize my build all that much in the game. I pretty much did whatever. Very enjoyable experience all in all. Where I think things get interesting is the first expansion…
Project Phantasma
Released a few months after AC1, Project Phantasma is when the game REALLY made me focus in on what i wanted to do and made me sweat. For the most part it's missions are about on par with it's predecessor, with one exception: The Arena.
The Arena is as straightforward as it gets, 49 Enemy ACs, one on one, no distractions. Best Pilot wins. The first chunk of the arena is a joke, but then, out of nowhere, comes
RANK: 30 PILOT: Brutus A.C.: Back Stab

You see this fucker? This was my wall. This is where the real pain train starts and Gen 1 starts to stop pulling it's punches IMHO.
Brutus is an aerial ace. You'll find that MOST of the ACs in the Arena absolutely LOVE to be in the air. this particular asshole has a sniper rifle that will literally stunlock you for long periods of time, is incredibly accurate, and generally just makes your life hell.
Quad legs could not carry me to victory here, they genuinely just do not have the maneuverability to dodge the incoming hailstorm of sniper shots. I tried heavyweight ACs, thinking i could simply outlast him, Dead Wrong. Heavyweights were even more of failure. All that armor did was prolong the inevitable.
This is where I had to bite the bullet and start using regular legs. You move absolutely pitifully slow when not boosting, but boosting takes energy, energy conservation takes practice and skill. I used these next 30 Arena fights to learn how to move and shoot in these games and the experience was so satisfying and rewarding. I felt like I was just as quick as the AI and soaring through the sky right along with them by the end of it.

Meet [Phantom Lambda], she is as fast as I could make her, she is as light as i could make her, she carries a new weapon in the Phantasma expansion, the WG-RFM118 Rifle. Along with a magazine on the back slot, a "weapon" that does nothing but increase the ammo count of your other weapons. 300 shots was consistently enough to take out most Arena opponents aside from the thick armored heavyweight powerhouses.
My weapon choice was simple. It has an absolutely MASSIVE lock on reticle. So I could focus all of my brainpower on movement and avoiding enemy fire. I still had to do a fair amount of aiming, the enemy ACs in the Arena get blazing fast. but this strategy ended up getting me all the way through the game. And suddenly I only had one Gen 1 game left.
Story Tangent
Project Phantasma tried a lot harder to have a consistent storyline which was fine, if a bit clunky. There's a big bad rival mech named Stinger who ends up being pretty pathetic as you thrash him again and again. You get all your jobs from a woman named Sumika who is also a AC pilot, and let me say, I was pleasantly surprised to see a woman in old mecha media that isn't evil and/or dead.
Master of Arena
Master of Arena had a lot more time in the oven than Project Phantasma, releasing in 1999 while AC1 and PP were both 97', and let me tell ya. It feels like a FromSoft employee was watching my Phantasma run over my shoulder when I first booted up the game.
So first things first. My strategy is in goddamn shambles. Not only is my FCS (part that determines lock-on reticle) significantly nerfed, my entire loadout has been nerfed to the floor in the ammo department. Magazines would give 50% more ammo per magazine in PP, and my rifle had 200 shots base. Now Mags give 20% each, and the rifle now only has 160 shots. Meaning I've went from a maximum of 400 shots to a measly 224. Considering how many shots end up missing and enemy AC HP, this means the rifle that carried me is absolutely not an option anymore.

Meet [The Rook], my intent was to find a middle ground where I wasn't totally made of paper like I was in piloting [Lambda Phantom]. Focusing purely on optimized utility in her design, I wanted something mobile, durable, and I needed to fit a weapon that had decent range and some nice damage, I used the WG-AR1000,a mid-range machine gun and doubled up on mags. This gave me a whopping 1400 bullets to bullet hose the competition down.
While the story missions weren't any harder than AC1 and Phantasma, the Arena didn't have a slow ramp up like it did in last one. Right away i was thrown into a fight with a lightweight aerial AC raining pain down on me.
I ended up playing a lot more aggressively this time around due to the machine gun's much shorter range, meeting opponents up-close in mid-air as abusing the RFM118's long range to plink away at opponents wasn't an option anymore. This lead to a lot of problems against enemies with similar weapons like gatling arms, where we mostly just ended up DPS racing eachother, but i only have to win once, after all.

Overall I really enjoyed these games. I think the first one is a fun lil time and onboards you to the systems well enough, and if you're hungry for more the two expansions offer a nice challenge. I'm currently debating if i wanna do the EX Arena in Master of Arena or if i wanna jump straight into Armored Core 2.
I highly recommend you try these out if you've played AC6, it's systems and clunky control schemes are very neat lil relics of game design that feel completely lost in the modern era.

His Sony walkman was blasting the newest cassette that he had snatched up from his sister, she wouldn’t notice the tape missing right away, obviously, she would freak when she did, but that would be a problem he could think about later. The neighborhood was silent, it was late in the afternoon, and everyone was either still at work or school. So he could easily make his way down the block before he would stop himself outside of the usual spot he’d go to, the garage was open and he could hear some clanking inside.
Doc was probably working on another project, and it was fairly interesting to see what he was doing, not that Marty understood half of it. “ Hey Doc, what are you doing? ” With his skateboard in hand, he squeezed himself to the back, managing, almost, not to brush against anything that might fall or break, there were too many knickknacks piled up on every available surface.

I'm gonna need the current animation-twitter-blogosphere-youtube-content-mill to understand something... Or at least, listen for a bit. I'm no expert, but as someone who has watched box office - particularly animation box office - for nearly two decades now, I wanna talk about what's going on with a lot of animated features nowadays in a post-outbreak world that's still actually dealing with COVID-19.
Box office, the way Hollywood measures it, is already archaic beyond belief at this point. Success and the movie's justification for existence being determined by a thing's opening weekend and not the legs, the longevity beyond theaters, etc. etc. It's created this weird culture of deeming things "flops" and also creating this weird obsession with marketing.
And apparently more than one of the YouTube Toon Opinion Industrial Complex content mills are already calling a movie like MIGRATION, which is currently legging it up in a way that Illumination's SING movies did during the holiday frame in their respective release years, a money-loser... Like, pump the brakes, will ya?
I don't care if it's clickbait or whatever, like, c'mon... We're reducing the hard work of animators and filmmakers to how much the movie makes in its first weeks of existence.
The way I see it, we're in an era now where...
Theater trips are goddamn expensive and are kind of a gamble. Over $50-70 for a family to see a movie, with concessions added, and your experience may SUCK. (Take it from me, 8-year movie theater employee and loooong-time moviegoer here who has had plenty a shit experience.) It's a gamble each and every time.
And the same applies to maybe a friend group, or a dating couple, or even older adults looking to watch something.
So, either the movie has to be something audiences are familiar with AND know what they're going to get out of it (i.e. MARIO, certain Marvel movies, etc.), or it's lucky to hit audiences in the right place at the right time (OPPENHEIMER, etc.) and luckily tap into the zeitgeist- if not change the zeitgeist singlehandedly.
Box office alone is a gamble. When you start a movie 4 years before release, how the hell do you know what the world is going to look like by the time the thing is completed?
I'm repeating myself, like a broken mp3, I know I know.
But, that's how I see it... Thus, animated family movies and their usual family audiences are in a unique position at the moment. A pretty solid-looking, more original animated family film from Pixar or DreamWorks or Sony had more chances of opening with $40m than they do now. Say, a movie that's not based on a pre-existing IP or is based on one that was never before adapted into a movie or TV series (think something like THE BAD GUYS).
Of course, you have your MARIOs and SPIDER-VERSEs. Those were guaranteed big openers. Films like ELEMENTAL and MIGRATION weren't so clear-cut. Even TROLLS 3 opened fine-ish, significantly below what TROLLS took in some 7 years ago. PUSS IN BOOTS 2 was hampered by bad weather on the East Coast, yeah, but its opening wasn't going to be anything special either. Legs... Or wings in MIGRATION's case, cat claws in PUSS's case... Make all the difference.
They always have, actually. Animated family features usually relied on strong word-of-mouth if they had some kind of adult appeal. It's something similar to what Walt Disney had once "realized" in the late 1950s. Something to the tune of "If the film really appealed to mom... Then mom takes the whole family... And then tells all her friends, and they go, and everyone goes."
So I feel we're in an era where the success of an animated feature can NOT be determined too early. Remember how ELEMENTAL was written off as a big ol' flop, immediately? And that Pixar was toast? And that they needed to bring the Hawaiian shirt pervert control freak back in order to get a box office hit again?
Weeks later, everyone was singing a different tune. ELEMENTAL was an underdog, it had a "comeback" story. No folks, that's just classic animation legs. People liked the movie after hearing from the few people who saw it... That it was actually worth checking out.
But these films need the legs more than ever before, now. Especially in a competitive marketplace where stuff is coming out every week, and there's always something just as good at home to put on. (Some people are trying to suggest that Netflix's LEO cut into Disney's WISH... Because it's at home, right there, no overpriced snacks or disruptive strangers next to you.)
Luckily, TROLLS 3 and MIGRATION were lower with their budgets. Cost in the sub-$100m regions, weren't required to make half a billion like the $200m-costing ELEMENTAL and WISH were expected to do. Which is kinda unfair to begin with, but I digress. Pixar is sure to blow $175m+ on their future features, and WDAS too, while DreamWorks, Illumination, and Sony try to keep it below $100m. Even if it's through dubious means, like outsourcing and shitty pay.
So, nowadays with animated family movies, it's a waiting game. MIGRATION, as of now, is currently at $77m domestically. That's already 6.4x its opening weekend, a fantastic multiplier for any film. By the time it wraps up, it'll likely make over 8x its opening weekend, landing amongst the biggest multipliers for a post-90s animated feature. That Christmas-to-winter break-to-boredom season slot does wonders, doesn't it? And of course, the movie being liked by those who saw it. WISH could've been a leggy Thanksgiving/Christmas movie - like TANGLED and FROZEN and MOANA were, but audiences clearly weren't digging it much.
Of course, it's not easy to do that, either. Sometimes a thing just won't land. LIGHTYEAR, for example. That's also part of the gamble. More often than not, though, these kinds of movies usually get a good audience grade, MIGRATION's no different... So, it's leggin' it up, winging it.
Which is why we should maybe... Wait a few weeks on these kinds of things? I know these "content creators" have bills to pay and have to crank-crank-crank stuff out, but still-

To Catch an Eel... Accidentally
Summery: Ruggie is on one of his many fishing trips for an easy lunch, but this time he gets more than what he bargained for

The fish quickly dispersed as the mer-eel swept by them, hiding in the corners of the lake from the unexpected snapping jaws of an unhinged predator also known as Floyd. He lunged forwards towards one of the fish, missing it by a hair and watched as it slowly swam away, seeming to taunt him. He let out a stream of bubbles in frustration watching it go, swearing to take a bite out of the thing once he was able to catch it. He had been swimming around all day, and unlike the fish during the Vargus camp these fish were insanely fast which made it near impossible for him to get ahold of one. He let himself drift a bit in the water arms crossed with a snarl that would scare a snapping turtle away. That was until he saw a bobbing movement out of the corner of his eye. Turning his head he saw another fish, bright pink with orange striping, and to his delight was lot slower than the others.
“Ehehe~ Come hereee little fishy~” He giggled to himself, shooting through the water with his hands extended towards the unsuspecting ball of bright colors. His hands shot straight past the fish, clasping together behind it so it couldn’t escape its inevitable fate of becoming a snack. Floyd snapped at the fish, delight filling his mind as he felt it hit the roof of his mouth. He raised his hands above himself in triumph, his excited wiggling making him miss the light tugging of the clear line that now led into his jaws.
A noise sounding suspiciously like a squeaky toy escaped him as he was very unceremoniously yanked upwards, streams of bubbles following him as he fought back against the incredibly persistent upward pulling of the fishing line. It was his fish! How dare they try to steal his hard work!
-Meanwhile-
Ruggie pulled furiously on the rod, watching it bend and jerk around wildly in his grasp. He couldn’t believe the sheer strength of whatever monster of a fish he had hooked. In the very many times he’d taken to fishing in the lake near the school he had never once hooked something so monsterous. The image of a freshly grilled fish crossed his thoughts as he reeled the line again, giddily watching the ever growing shadow in the water. That was until he realized that he was actively being pulled towards the water, the fish having decided to flip the roles of the fisher and the fished.
“Ah shit!” He shouted, digging his feet into the ground as much as he dared in an attempt to stop himself from getting dragged to a watery grave. What he wouldn’t give in this moment to have greater arm strength, his noodle arms were going to give out any second if this assault on his arms and his ego didn’t let up.
The sounds of feet approaching caught his ears, the person steadily plodding their way around the lake path. Seeing a familiar first year come into view, his hope shot sky high.
“JACK! HELP ME OUT HERE WILL YA’?” He yelled towards the beastman. Jack halted almost immediately, looking over to see his upperclassman about to get absolutely wrecked by one hell of a force of nature.
“Ruggie, what in the world did you catch!?” Jack shouted back, already starting to make a beeline for the struggling hyena.
“I don’t know but whatever it is it’ll be enough food for a whole week!” Once Jack grabbed hold of the rod Ruggie let out an internal sigh of relief. With Jack’s strength, they’d be able to get the fish out in no time!
The fish fight continued for the next ten minutes, neither side seeming to be able to keep their advantage over the other. As soon as it looked as though the Savannaclaw students were going to get dragged in they would pull harder, and once the fish got close to the murky surface it would pull back furiously, putting the pair back to where they started. In all honesty, Ruggie had just about had it with this things antics. Another minute flew by and once again the mystery fish had been yanked near the surface, bubbles absolutely surrounding the thing as it thrashed around in the water.
“Alright Jack! On three we pull as hard as we can. We should be able to get the fish out with one more good tug!” Ruggie said, watching the fish intently. Jack was really starting to feel the ache in his arms, but he nodded.
“Whenever you’re ready then!” He said, bracing himself against the ground to keep himself from getting dragged back to the starting line.
“One…”
“Two…”
A flash of teal broke the surface, the blur of a tail shooting up before getting ready to dive back into the lake.
“THREE!” The two of them threw their weight’s backwards, their combined efforts jerking the fish up out of the water and onto the grass in front of them.
“HELL YEAH! WE GOT A-” Ruggie cut himself off, looking down in shock at the sight in front of him. What was staring back at them was, in fact, not a fish, but a very, very angry looking Octavinelle student with a hook in his mouth. Neither party said anything for a minute, staring at each other with very mixed emotions.
“Floyd…what were you doing in the lake.” Jack said breaking the silence.
“I was getting a snack, what else would I be doing!” Floyd snarled, reaching up to de-hook himself from the line. “What the hell were you doing!?”
“Why does it matter what I was doing why did you try to eat the lure!?” Ruggie yelled incrediously.
“Well how was I supposed to know thats what a lure is!?”
“It’s so obvious that it was a lure! No fish in this lake is BRIGHT FUCKING PINK!”
This argument continued for a good three minutes, emotions amping up by the second while Jack watched the interaction from the sideline. That wonderance was ended quickly however by snarling on Floyd’s end, deciding that he had had enough with the argument and was now resorting to violence to end it.
If anyone’s seen one of those videos where a worm is touched and the worm starts wiggling around violently, that was the equivalent to what Floyd was doing. His mer form didn’t exactly have the legs required for Floyd’s charge of attack, so the next best thing? Wiggle aggressively to bring across the message of the violence that will soon befall the pair when he does get his legs back.
Ruggie grabbed his rod once Floyd started his maniacal wiggles and shot backwards, not wanting to get anywhere close to the noodle of death.
“JACK WE GOTTA GO!” He screamed, shooting into the woods towards the college building as fast as possible. Jack only started running once Floyd’s tail slammed a tad to close for comfort, taking off after the second-year as if his life depended on it (it did).
Floyd continued his crazed wiggling until Jade found him a few hours later, the wiggling having tired him out to the point where his twin had to carry him back to Octavinelle.
Needless to say for the next two weeks Ruggie and Jack had to be hyperaware of Floyd as anytime he saw either of them he would start charging at them with a full intent to drag them to the bottom of the sea. He eventually got bored of this after a while, but it was fairly amusing for Leona to watch his underclassmen pelt away once they even saw a hint of teal hair. He got some hecking good naps those two weeks.

Now yes Disney plus app is have a hub for Hulu now. Which thank you, because I have the Disney plus bundle (I sharing it with other people. SHIT THE MOUSE IS COMING FOR ME!) but it sure as hell more convenient for me to use the Hulu hub than go out to another app to watch Hulu content
Though it FUCKING funny how my continue watching can have Disney plus alongside with seienin anime

Bitch back in the day most westerners anime fans had to watch cable TVs blocks like Toonami. Like my tv consumption were in flux. I didn’t have cable all the time and watch a lot of dvds especially in road trips. A lot of my anime consumption started by watch adult swim aired anime. Or if my family a little bit of money. Cable box where I watch Digimon on Disney old block Jetix

But anime streaming services…are niche af. Yes anime went mainstream in the west, but they can easily be gone instantly. Actually one of my favorite Drifters was taken off it streaming services. But I was able to get the blu ray
Sorry for the essay…I’m just SHOCKED on how bad certain people over reliance of streaming services is because I still really the twilight years of renting (grew up near a family video)

ya like I said I recognized the obvious ones, never really did much with anime.
As for all the services, it's a really weird thought that's come into my head watching all of this.
Most folks out in tumblr land probably won't remember when the "Bell System" was broken up.
The phone system in the US was a legal monopoly, until it wasn't a legal monopoly and the Fed broke it up into regional things and also opened things up to competition for a bit there were hundreds of different phone companies popping up offering the best price on local or long distance and all that good stuff.
Then they started to get absorbed by the bigger ones, still no return to the monopoly since that's not allowed but went from on choice to oddles of choices back down to just a few choices none of which were terrible.
Cellphones did that too when they showed up, was never a monopoly but there were tons of regional outfits selling service, that all got slowly bought up by larger and larger companies.
Cable and satellite TV as well as internet too.
I think we may be seeing that with streaming services, not really any tiny fly by night groups doing streaming services but there's only so many that can be out there before they stop being profitable, especially the niche ones.
Which I think that merger and the price hike that is coming with it is a thing that was basically inevitable, the price hike will reverse if history is any indicator, at leas so long as people remain pissed about it and don't sub.
That or they'll sell packages so you can customize what you want.
Either way I'm still with you on the need to rely less on streaming services, I feel the same way about the cloud, which I refuse to use, I know how to work around all that if the need arises.

Shapeshifting glaives - Nyx Ulric- Coeurl

 He´s embodiement of cat in human skin, so when he changed nobody was that suprised it was coeurl. They would be more shocked if it wasn´t. So Nyx doesn´t have the typical coeurl colour, he´s more blackishly blue with silver spots and belly. Speaking of belly, Nyx adores belly rubs! But he´s little shit about them (just like every cat honestly), especially to Luche and Tredd (usually they get smacked by his paw, Luche is lowkey sad) Obviously Nyx´s much bigger than normal coeurl and heavier. He´s quite talkative kitty, let me tell ya. Nyx ultimately decided he would become a terapeutic coeurl. How that works, you may ask?
  Let me explain: when some of glaives are too stubborn to relax and go home cough Titus and Luche cough. He devised a few techniques: The first one is being annoying,(which may include borrowing their stuff or just straight up lay on the stuff) the second one is jump them and lay on them until they gave up, if they do Nyx will happily purr. (Funny thing, Titus was especially stubborn once picked him up and carried him around like a furry baby, glaives had photos of this) If any of the glaives are feeling low, Nyx will lick their face and let them cuddle him. (Ladies often use him as heating pad for their cramps) In his coeurl form he also likes zip people with his eletricity (nothing harmful, he´s just playful boy)
 Oh my, when Nyx changed, Luche swears he never saw such shit eating grin before. It happened during a lunch break, Nyx and the gang was happily chatting with Soni and Axis about the party that was planned for their captain when furious Tredd came to their table. “I swear to all the fucking Astrals, If Luche won´t come out of his office right now, I am tearing the fucking door down.” Nyx scrunched up his nose at that. “ Don´t tell me, he´s in that workholic mood again.” Libertus said angrily. “Fucking hell, Lazarus!”  Nyx immediately got up and marched with Tredd into Luche´s office. They found there only poor Mat who almost dropped his documents at such abrupt entrance. “Guys damn it, please knock next time!” he sighed. “ If you´re looking for Luche, then he´s at training grounds. He looks like a shit, btw.”  Both men hastily leave for the training ground, bidding Mat farewell.
 Nyx could feel electricity running hot in his veins. His eyes started glow in the dimmed light, like a storms in Galadh. Nyx knew something was happening, but right now it wasn´t important. They were half way through when Tredd noticed Luche who was training with Tobul. Even from such a distance, They could see how pale and tired  Luche was. The circles under his eyes looked purplish. “LAZARUS!” screamed Nyx, while throwing his kukri to Luche´s direction. That moment was so brief that people swore it was their imagination. When Nyx´s got from warp, he felt the magic wash over him in such intimate manner. It was overwhelming, eruption in every cell of the body. Nyx felt like so much emotions at once, like it stripped him into his bare core and reshaped it. 
 Luche was caught off guard when something heavy tackled him. It was beautiful black coeulr with silver spots, who was snarling at him. He was really out of it today. “ Nyx, don´t eat him! He would taste like a bitter shit.” Luche heard Tredd yell in somewhere in the background.  “ Nyx, get of me this instant.” The coeulr let out a angry roar. “Nyx Ulric, let me up or I swear it would not end well for you.” Luche´s eyes changed colour into light blue. “ Nyx, I - ... Did - Did you just lick my face?”  The grin that was plastered on coeurl was definitively answer. “ Stop ,hahahaha, stop it! Noo, that tickles, Nyx!” Luche started laugh so much it hurted.
Titus from his office witnessed the whole thing. “ I am fucking quitting this job.”

what is triple strings?
Hello my love! and welcome to the show.
Triple Strings Limited is a dormant management company which he was appointed as director owning 50% of it, with S*mon Coward/Syco/Sony owning the other 50%. It was opened and filed as a company on 16 Jan 2015, and we all know louis is a businessman. He’s fantastic at it, has a passion for signing and developing new/local talent, and probably wanted to give them the treatment and support he didn’t receive from his mgmt at the time.
So basically, Syco/Sony gave him the imprint, but he stated 3 years ago today that it never worked for him because he couldn’t push anything through. Him and S*mon were both appointed directors on 30 September 2016.

Weirdly enough, it’s still active (kind of… I mean it’s dormant but it hasn’t been 100% dissolved) to this day.

So, yeah. Why give Louis an imprint? Why him when it seems none of the other boys during that time had anything offered to them? I mean… having the money they had, this management company would have been hugely successful in hiring pop artists who fit the bill, but as louis said in his tweet, the people he believed in didn’t fit into those traditional pop roles.

So, weird that it’s still active, but he’s still involved with Sony so I guess that just is what it is right now. Interesting though, to see it as bbg compensation. Like “hey, this is a dream of yours, sorry about the kid, here’s an imprint!! Congrats!! This can be your baby!!!” ya know? So it’s just an interesting take on it. We know that S*mon probably felt pretty shitty (well… I hope he did) when bbg continued on longer than what it was meant to, so he gave Louis all these opportunities. He could make money off Louis, Louis wouldn’t out him as a piece of shit because of these opportunities given to him that he wanted, and Louis could also make more money and have a bit more control over his career. It’s just an interesting take to think about. Because while S*mon is a piece of shit, he also knows how to manipulate, push and pull, and compromise (slightly).
Not too much else to say on this. If anyone has any other info they’d like to add, go for it. But I’ve never seen this talked about as bbg compensation… but it kinda makes sense.
