A lazy day was a good way to try and explain today. You see, today there was nothing planned; no school, no work, nothing productive.

In fact, he was just laying in bed, unable to think of what to do. Slowly he sat up, swinging his legs over the edge of the bed as he gave a soft huff, running a hand through his brown mess of hair. It was unbrushed and his fingers caught a tangle. He frowned, though made quick work of the problem. As if to check his work he ran his hand through the same area a few times and was satisfied by the lack of resistance. The sudden weight against his legs made it clear he was no longer alone. He was well aware of the dog roaming his house, but he still gave a gasp in surprise.

"Se-" he didn't even get to finish as the gigantic dog was already in his lap, wet nose sniffing at his cheek and a slobery tongue that gave unfortunately gross licks that took up the entire side of his face.

"Oh God," he said through laughter, his hands carefully finding the dogs sides, Laughter still resonating from him in response to his friend. I mran, based on the weight on either side of him it seemed clear his furry friend was using the bed to hold himself up.

"Ah- i'm- " he couldn't even talk through his own laughter, and his sides ached from it already.

It was amusing to think that this mass of fluff was now supposed to preform a serious job, after all, half a year ago he was just... A dog, doing dog things, whatever it is dogs do. It was probably clear he was new to his job, but Jack could not ask for it any other way.

After /assaulting/ him with love, the dog climbed up onto the bed fully, laying next to Jack with an ungraceful flop. Jack, who was practically in tears, was trying to simmer down at this point. How odd his dog seemed to have this effect on him. Man's best friend, he supposed.

Laugher still came from him as he tried to calm himself, and it was now a low rumble so there was some success. Aside from his problems his hand carefully found the dog at his side, the animals spine pressed to his hip and leg. It amazed Jack at times, he was 6'2* and this dog seemed nearly the size of him at times. With a touch that seemed cautious he ran his hand over the dog's side a few times, stroking his fur in a type of content.

He exhaled a soft hum as his laugher finally fully subsided and he started to calm down, though the energy still lingered in the muscles of his abdomen, and the ache would not disappear that quickly.

His phone startled him, going off with a sharp tone compared to the short silence that previously hung over to room. Imediatly his hand had moved up to his chest. He gave a noise of disbelief mixed with laughter. It was not there, he was not even wearing a shirt with pockets there today. His hands fumbled a bit as he patted at each available pocket to try and find which pocket held the phone. Oh, back left... He knew that....

Uuh....

It took him half a second to remember how to answer it, and honestly he felt very dumb for a second.

"Oh-" he gave aloud as he managed to remember, tapping the screen twice and placing it to his ear.

"Hel-oh... No I'm..." It was his /worried/ mother.

"No, I jusr- no- " he gave huff,

"Mooom."

Good, that got her attention.

*I'm fine." He said in a flat tone. "I had to find my phone, that's all." He said, which was... Kinda true...

He fell backwards against his bed dramatically, mindful of his arm and the dog on his left side. Of course, the sudden movement had gotten the dogs attention and he looked to Jack a moment concerned.

"No... No... Hm, No... Oh, guess who wants to say "hi'." He gave amused, "I cannot deny the man phone time, mom! Talk time is valuable in the prison system, how else am I going to find a suitable lawyer?" He asked dramatically and he then took the phone and using the dog's shoulder as a guide, dropped the phone as his paws. It was almost inevitable that he'd snuff at the phone, large nose probably taking up over half the screen.

Jack rested his chin against the dog's shoulder, bent a bit oddly at the torso but not in too uncomfortable.

Even with the phone no where near his ear, he could hear his mother give an annoyed huff before the telling beep the phone gave as she hung up. He could no longer hold back the laugh forming in his system and it erupted from him. Sure his mother was being a little too protective, she definitely had ever right to concidering what had happened, but that would /not/ stop him from messing with her.

1. Name Changes

- Trophy Race: Champions League has been renamed to Trophy Race: Land's End. (This reverts a previous change that removed Land’s End in approximately October 2021. Land’s End was originally introduced in September 2020.)

- Champions Shop has been renamed into Land's End Shop.

2. Shop Changes

- Cookie Costumes previously sold in the shop have been replaced by Costume Bundle Tickets.

- Please look forward to the new special rewards waiting in the next season!

3. Map Changes

- The Ancient Forest Altar map has rotated out and is replaced by the Spooky Scary School map.

- In order to calculate the optimal Combis for the rotated map, Dr. Wasabi's Combi Generator will be temporarily disabled. (Estimated to return June 2)

CHAMPIONS LEAGUE

1. NEW SEASON

- Champions League is back!

- Champions League is a seasonal mode that opens Thursday 4:00 PM (GMT+9) the first and third weeks of a season, where you run in 3 arenas and compete against other runners.

- In Hydrangea Season 1, the first season, the following applies.

- Season 1 begins with the update.

- The Congratulate section features the Top 3 runners from the final season of the previous Champions League.

- The Congratulation Rewards for Season 1 default to the basic rewards. (Starting with Season 2, the Top 3 runners choose the rewards.)

2. GRAND CHAMPIONS LEAGUE

- Grand Champions League Invitations are now available as rewards from Champions League.

- Previously only runners who finished Top 10% of Champions League were able to obtain invitations, but starting this season all runners within the Top 20% are eligible for invitations.

- Participating in the Grand Champions League without an invitation instead requires 10,000 Crystals.

- The Grand Champions League schedule will be released at a later date.

1. Dr. Bones Cookie

- Increased points for Red Recovery Jellies (+700,000 Red Recovery Jelly Points, Level 5)

- Added Combi bonus for Bone-afide Multivitamin Jelly (+146,000 points for Pill Jellies)

2. Spinach Cookie

- The destruction points gained during Spinach Giant Mode are now shown added to regular destruction points gained

- Fixed an issue where the Blast Mode effect of Chili Jellies was not affected by Blast Mode speed increase buffs as intended

- Fixed an issue where the Magic Candy effect lasted shorter than intended during the effects of Spinach Jellies and Chili Jellies

- Increased destruction points during Spinach Giant Mode (+900,000 Spinach Destruction Points, Level 15)

- Increased Chili Blast Points (+800,000 Chili Blast Points, Level 15)

- Increased points for Vitamin Jellies (Vitamin Jelly Score - 360,000 Points, Level 15)

- Improved method of making Carrot Jellies appear

- Screen zoom levels are now fixed during the skill

- Fixed an issue where the targets would appear too close to the Cookie

5. Centipede Cookie

- Fixed an issue where if Centipede King collected Jellies before they regularly should have been obtainable, no points would be given as a result.

6. Cream Unicorn Cookie

- Fixed an issue where if clouds collected Jellies before they regularly should have been obtainable, no points would be given as a result.

7. Roguefort Cookie

- Fixed an issue where certain explosive effects would incorrectly destroy searchlights during the skill

- Increased points for Pea Jellies (Pea Jelly Score - 400,000 Points, Level 15)

2. Paper Boat Sailor, Bunsy

- Fixed an issue where the cooldown would increase with each skill activation

TREASURES

1. Flowering Can

- Slightly reduced cooldown (14.6 seconds)

- Increased points for Flower Crystal Jellies (Flower Crystal Jelly Score - 2,007,500 Points, Level 12)

- Slightly reduced Combi bonus points (+292,000 points for Flower Crystal Jellies)

2. E-Z Camera

- Photos taken will now always appear at the same height on the screen

Here's a tiny guy I drew: it's Seedy! He's basically like the Swapped Fables version of Chompy, but rather than coming from the Mother Chomper he comes from the Seedling King.

Somewhat befitting of his name, this fancy little shit is more actively mischievous than Chompy (not that Chompy's harmless, I've no doubt she bothers people and chews on stuff): he likes to go around and steal things, and when he's grumpy he'll often trample over random stuff. In spite of that he's cute and well-behaved enough, so if nothing else Jaune and Bit like having him around. Hoaxe...tolerates the lil' dude, in spite of his nature.

Also, as you can see, he has a bowtie instead of a bow. I like it.
