Seek the LORD and his strength, seek his face continually. 1 Chronicles 16:11
David had completed the move of the Ark of the Covenant to Jerusalem. He had appointed some of the Levites to lead the worship of the Lord. He set up musicians to play at appointed times as others sang psalms he and others had written.
Today's verse is part of the first psalm David had the Levites sing after the placement of the ark in Jerusalem, which he wrote himself. Then, as now, we are encouraged to seek after God without ceasing. We are to do those things that please and honor him.
Obedience is the best worship!

To the hurting soul,
You didn’t come across this post by coincidence. You were meant to read this. God has a purpose for your pain and for your life. What you feel now— whatever you’re struggling with— is only temporary. Your trauma, pain, and scars will someday be your testimony. God sees you and He knows, and nothing you go through will ever be in vain. God is going to use it for your good and for His glory. Suicide and self-harm are not the solutions to your problems. Suicide is only a permanent solution to a temporary problem. Seek the Lord with your whole heart and give to Him every ounce of your pain. Storms pass and seasons change. There is Hope on the horizon, love. Look to Jesus. He is your hope.
