I don't know why you are so familiar to me - or why it feels less like i am getting to know you and more as though i am remembering who you are. How every smile, every whisper brings me closer to the impossible conclusion that I've known you before, I've loved you before - in another time, a different place, in another existence.

Take an equilateral triangle and take a point inside. Connect the point to the side with orthogonal segments. The sum of the the segments always equals the height of the triangle!

I'm gonna start a segment called: Today I woke up with THIS song stuck in my head
Or a catchier variation of that, you get the gist
I'm open to suggestions for the name, and a tag!

Update on my “segments”
My segments, parts, aspects, whatever you want to call them... are recognized by my therapist, and I have become much more open to them since last posting. It’s opened my mind, and we’ve learned to (mostly) work together. There have been name changes, identity discoveries, etc.
My therapist sent over papers for my diagnostic assessment that I filled out and sent back, and we’re going over them this Thursday. I’m very nervous though... there were dissociative scale thingies (professional wording on my part, I know). And I do indeed experience dissociation/time loss between switching between them, and they all have their own autonomy and characteristics.
I’m nervous since I know what it’s pointing too, and the only reason that makes me anxious is because of how stigmatized it is/the stigma surrounding the disorder.

The Segments of Fantasia 3000 by me!
This is a follow-up to my previous post, which is a fake movie poster for an imaginary sequel to Walt Disney’s Fantasia titled Fantasia 3000. You can view that post here for more context.
I drew every section of the poster separately, & I really like how each picture turned out. Because of this, I thought I’d share each section as one big post. From top to bottom, the segments are as follows:
Segment 1: Les Toreadors by Georges Bizet (The surreal one with the square conductor.)
Segment 2: Danse Macabre by Camille Saint-Saens (The one with the Angel of Death playing for the ghosts.)
Segment 3: The Blue Danube by Johann Strauss II (The one involving the fairy & the brownie & the color changing world.)
Segment 4: Symphony No. 40 by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (The one with Mickey Mouse defending a king & queen from an evil wizard with a magic sword - & Donald Duck watching!)
Segment 5: Sleigh Ride by Leroy Anderson (The one with Saint Nicholas & his reindeer.)
Segment 6: Romanian Rhapsody No. 1 by George Enescu (The one with the elephant & the crane in the jungles of India.)
Segment 7: Bolero by Maurice Ravel (The one with the Matt Dixon robot walking through the alien desert.)
Segment 8: The Scott Joplin Medley (Bethena, The Entertainer, & Maple Leaf Rag) (The one with the African American man & the Irish woman doing vaudeville.)
Segment 9: The New World Symphony by Antonín Dvořák (The one with the little girl & the leopard on the hilltop.)
Segment 10: Scheherazade by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov (The one with the dragons.)
I hope you guys enjoy these!

We live life
It gets to be told about in segments.
A millipede is an entire animal
It is made of small parts called segments.
A movie can be long or short
It can be broken down into segments, too.
The human brain works with a lot of information
To store it all well, it has to be in segments.

What makes up segments?
Could it be so many little other segments?

Tamagotchi On Goes On 2019 Holiday Press Tour
Have you seen Tamagotchi On on your local news station recently? Theres a good chance you have! Bandai America has just put the Tamagotchi On on a holiday press tour, it’s one of the many perks to being featured on the Toy Insider’s 2019 Holiday Gift Guide.
Our beloved Tamagotchi On was featured on:
Good Day L.A.
ABC Palm Beach
SO exciting to see Tamagotchi On making its rounds to lots of local television news channels and getting the airtime it deserves! We do find it interested that the toy experts don’t typically mention the Tamagotchi On application, but we were happy to hear one of the representatives mention that the device can be paused by sending it to daycare, which we’re sure she meant visiting their parents. Have you seen Tamagotchi On featured on your local television news channel?

I just want a boring love. A love that doesn't need fights or arguments to keep the fire alive. A 'let's sit at home and read on opposite ends of the sofa' love. An 'I missed you at lunch today' love. An 'I would rather be at home with the love of my life right now' love.

ignore the whole “segments” dealio. Ignore them posting and junk.
It’s just speculations, buy my recent view on it is this: “Emerson” and “Emily” are NOT separate beings, they’re just segregated versions of my same consciousness. We are the SAME. Differing “personalities” are just my personality with differing traits accentuated and emphasized, and differing traits from different periods in my life.
I don’t believe it’s any form of OSDD/DID. While it is rooted in trauma, my trauma as a young child was not severe enough - as bad as that sounds - to form something like that. In my opinion, anyways. What’s more likely is that it’s PARTIALLY schizo related in that my mind took the dissociation, took the personality “changes” and kinda threw in the delusional states when I dissociate (comparable to accidentally putting way too much pepper in a dish).
The differing names are likely just because I, as those segments, wanted to be differentiated from myself. I don’t/didn’t accept those parts of me, and those parts of me don’t fully accept this part of me or each other. Thus, creating the perceived need for different names.
TL;DR: I heavily doubt the “Emily” and “Emerson”/Segments thing is DID/OSDD because of many things, and it’s just a mix of poor subconscious coping, and delusions paired with the dissociation.
