ok, headcanon that fills in the gap of where tf Annabeth gets her braids done:

Selena. She learned how to braid her own hair and soon enough her siblings started asking if she could do theirs. After a while, the Stolls convinced her to make a profit off of it, so she extended her services to the rest of Camp.

Selena eventually developed a sisterly bond with Annabeth, and insisted on doing her hair free of charge (“Hey Annababes, I wanted to try this new style and need a guinea pig. Mind if I borrow you for a second?”)
