Pairing: Clover, Herb, Pure Vanilla, Lilac, Sparkling, Hollyberry, and baker! Reader

Summary: What if baker! reader give some of the cookies a bouquet of roses?

• Clover and Herb would accept them with a smile and giving you a hug! Probably invite you out to a day in the forest. Clover would play music while you and herb dance around to the tunes.

Clover: “Heres a tune, I hope you love Baker!”

Herb: “come dance in the flowers with my baker!”

• Pure Vanilla Is gonna blush and store the roses somewhere safe. He’ll get you gifts the next day, something big and bold to show how much he loves you.

“Baker! Theres a room full of gifts, I picked them all out myself. I hope all of them are to your liking.”

• Lilac took the roses and found a way for them to never wilt away. He wears one in his hair and stores the others away. He places a bouquet of lilacs in your room with a note the following night. Many ask why he suddenly wears a rose.

“Why do I wear a rose now? Baker has given it to me, so I will cherish it and keep it safe.”

• Sparkling would place the roses in the bar! You have a designated spot where you sit every time, and no one is aloud to sit in it besides you. He places the vase next to it. As a gift back he makes a drink dedicated to you and named after you.

“Ah, Baker! Here, try this drink. I based it off of you, its named (name)!”

• Hollyberry would place the flowers in your and her hair. She’d invite you to come drink with her as a token of her appreciation.

“Lets have a drink! To our dear Bakers gift!”

I dont write oc x character or character x character sadly as I genuinely enjoy x readers way more and i dont know how to write others ocs. Even when provided with a description of the oc I tend to have a lot of trouble and will most likely end up dropping it entirely out of guilt and frustration.

Being a minor, I do have school which ironically i write my best works there in my free time. But this means im busy almost all week and dont have a lot of time to myself even with my schedule of staying up til 1 am. I also have some mental illnesses that factor into my work so it’s extremely hard to find motivation or inspiration, especially if its one if those ‘do nothing’ days. So im sorry if oneshots are a little slow.

Soooo...how did the cookies get the baker to open up to them? How did they get the baker to come out of their shell to have fun instead of being so nervous and shy and well...afraid of making a bad impression?

A/n: it was the rubber ducky situation all over again! Kinda- short fic! I can’t write a fic one shot for the life of me💀 i think I answered the ask the right-

Pure Vanilla and baker were walking through the kingdom, enjoying the lovely weather they were having! Pure Vanilla held a couple of bags filled with gifts he got for baker as they silently trailed behind him, until… The sound of squeak was heard. It wasn’t loud nor stirred the peace of the kingdom. The Baker heard it, turning their head towards an alleyway. Pure Vanilla continues to walk and talk about kingdom affairs, not realizing Baker stopped following.

They heard the squeak again and walked down the small space between the two buildings. The area led to another part of the kingdom with more stores and buildings, just, less crowded. They peeped they’re head out of the alleyway, they saw Lilac and Yogurt Cream talking in front of a store selling miscellaneous items. Yogurt Cream was squeezing a rubber ducky he purchased; it was a classic, yellow rubber ducky. Lilac watched Yogurt Cream with an unamused look in his eyes, watching Yogurt cream be entertained by some toy. Lilac was the first to notice the Baker out of the corner of his eyes, he followed their gaze to the rubber ducky. There were stars in and sparkles in their eyes.

Lilac reached into the bag he was carrying a pulled out another rubber ducky, but this one was purple. He held it out, beckoning the baker to come and take it. The Baker didn’t hesitate, they walked over and took the purple ducky, squeezing it then letting air fill back into it.

…Pure Vanilla has has walked multiple blocks before realizing the Baker wasn’t there. “So which situation should we…” He looks behind himself to only see his own shadow. “… attend to first.. Baker?!”

He was filled with fear when he realized Baker wasn’t with him anymore. He asked nearby cookie, they told him they haven’t seen Baker. It put the entire Kingdom into Chaos while the Baker was playing with a purple ducky.

The Baker and Yogurt Cream continues to bond over their love of rubber duckys. The Baker was more hyper and lively as they continued to play with the rubber duckies. It took a good 20 more minutes before Pure Vanilla found Baker.

“Baker! I’ve been looking for you, what happened?! Are you hurt?!” Pure Vanilla looked over the Baker for any cuts like a concerned parent.

“I’m fine!” The Baker laughed, putting the purple ducky in Pure Vanillas face and making it squeak squeak. “Look at it!”

Pure Vanilla was even more concerned.. Why was Baker so lively? He didn’t ask, nor did he want to know, hes happy his Baker is talking to him!

A/n: rubber ducky made baker happy! I hope any of this made actual sense, in my brain it did lmao

I was wondering about what would happen if hyper baker was snatched up by the cookies of darkness but...hyper baker is just super nice to all of them and acting like their hyper self...maybe when the cookies come to save baker, they find the cookies of darkness trying to get baker down from a chandelier! Like they are confused how hyper baker even GOT up there! Think it would be hilarious....seeing the cookies of darkness deal with hyper baker's usual hyper chaos lol!

“Alright everyone, get ready!” Pure vanilla said.

Your guardians from the kingdom came to save you from the cookies of darkness.

They open the front doors and see you swinging on the chandelier, while singing Chandelier by sia. They dont know who Sia is so they thought you made the song on the spot.

“Baker! Please let us help get you down!” Licorice yelled.

“I wanna swing!- Huh, No!” Baker yells while swinging.

“Uhm, what should we do- um about that..”Lilac says stopping in his tracks.

The chandelier started to separate from the ceiling. You noticed but you were to busy trying to finish the song.

“Its starting to separate , bakers gonna fall!!” Red velvet yelled.

Everyone started to panick not know what to do.

Baker still kept singing. They never noticed the ladder that connects the chandelier to the next floors balcony. You noticed the chandelier almost about to fall and climb on the ladder back to safety.

“Instead of panicking, we need to get baker down-” Pomegranate Yelled.

The chandelier fell to the ground. There were collective gasps around the room.

Lilac

-He would know its you picking up characters, but he wouldnt think you would pick him up. He would look more graceful than normal, because he knows how much you like it.

Lilac: He was beyond joyed when he saw you wear the mask he made, it made his cookie heart flutter. He didnt look like he was enjoying your company when you asked him to help you walk around, but trust me, he was dear!

Ok, so I finally worked up the courage to send a request! So I was wondering if I could request a baker with astraphobia, like gets visibly nervous at dark clouds and panicks at thunder and lightning? -Since lilac travels on sea alot, hes used to storms. He may not be the best at comforting but he’ll definitely try his best. He’ll make sure the smells of yoyr favorite calming candles. He has a secret cabinet in the kitchen that has all he the things to help you when you are anxious or panicked. Name whatever you want, he’ll make sure you have it.

Dark Choco

-Hes not used to giving comfort nor is he used to receiving it. He’ll try things to help and if it makes you feel worse he’ll try something else. He trys to remember things that helped him when he was younger to help you. he’ll mostly be holding you while whispering comforting things, try to get you to fall asleep.

Hi Sonder! I was wondering if you could do headcanons with my favorites (sparkling, red velvet, and lilac) in that format that you do where pure vanilla goes on a little complement rant towards the baker and just says a ton of sweet things. Like the cookies are giving baker a bunch of praise/compliments/verbal affection but instead of pv it’s sparkling, rv, and lilac and how they would act in that scenario. Ty!

Red velvet

-Usually holds you from behind when your cooking and spills his heart out to you, well he trys. It usually ends up him being very possessive.

“Sure!” Baker let go of lilac hand and held licorices hand and dragged him in the way they think the picnic is at.

”Raspberry mousse! I missed you so much! There so much i wanna do!” Baker rambled on .

“Well then, I’ll be going.” Pomegranate said walking away.

On the walk back to the kingdom you felt tired and had raspberry mousse hold you while you fell asleep.

He pushed the door to your room in the palace to see many photos of you and a ripped photo of licorices faces tapped next to you. There was candles and ‘i love you baker!’ Written on the walls.

”Oh. Bakers back? Ive made some tea for them if they would like a cup- ” Earl gray says walking to the room, he was cut off when he looked in the room.

hyper anon here....can't help but wonder...what if pv decides to investigate investigate with lilac and finds the shopkeep and learns from the shopkeep that they actually found the duck very close to the area where they first well brought baker or baked baker or idk what hyper baker's origin story is...possible future idea for where bakers come from...anyway the shop keeper found the items near baker was well...brought in/created or idk and thought they'd look nice in the shop...and the two items they found and had decided to sell was that lilac rubber duck...and a vanilla duck themed scarf! Lol...got idea from the fact that some cookies had their own unique items like vanilla's staff and lilac's weapons and thought...why wouldn't baker have something like that? Lmao!

(Bonus...what if someone bought the scarf but the shopkeeper forgot who they sold it to...)

I took your request and made a spin on it💃🏽 “You sure this is the shop?” Pure Vanilla questioned.

Pure Vanilla and Lilac were looking for the shop Lilac got the duck at. Theres something special about that duck and they’re getting to the bottom of it.

“Yes, you’ve asked this many times. Now lets go inside.”

“Welcome, can I help you find something?” Said from the intercom. It was clearly prerecord.

“Where are you?” Pure vanilla was looking around to find the mysterious voice.

“Hm, liac? You bought the duck correct?” Now this wasn’t prerecorded. The cookie on the intercom completely ignored Pure Vanilla.

“Yes.” Lilac was suspicious, but didnt say anything about it.

“Go through the door behind the desk, we need to talk about the duck.”

Lilac gripped his weapons and walked to door, Pure Vanilla followed.

As they opened the door the inside was metal, the actual store had light yellow painted walls. They walked down the stairs, being very alert. When they got to the bottom they see a machines, making ducks? There was a desk and many computers, most likely hooked to the cameras and intercoms.

“Whats all this and who even are you?” Pure Vanilla asked.

“Im not important right now, ive been making ducks the exact way the one baker is hooked too. Ive traveled around for things that might cause it, but I cant find it.” The cookie said.

the cookie had a cloak covering their body, a black metal mask hiding their face, black gloves and a neck cover hiding all parts of their body that could be visible, and had curly hair. Lilac even more suspicious, he somehow doesn’t remember what the shopkeeper even looked like.

“Who are you..” Lilac got closer trying to pull the cloak off.

“Again, not important..” The cookies moves out the way. The cookie then walks by him to one of the machines.

“Why are you trying to make a replica of the duck?” Pure vanilla follows them.

“I dont care the replica of duck, im trying to find the thing that baker is attached too. You see-” the cookie tapped the screen on the machine. “-The cookies of darkness are doing the same thing. They are trying to trap baker-” the cookie walked to the desk and computers and turned them on. “- you see that? Thats how man test theyve run to find it.”

on the screens it showed 100s of test the cookies of darkness did and the results. They too are trying to find the answer.

“but lucky for us, I found it-”

“Perfect! We just need to-” Pure vanilla interrupted them, just to be hit in the mouth by lilac to shut him up.

“-Its not in duck form.” The cookie took a key from a mysterious place on the dark cloak and placed it in the key hole of the desk.

The cookie pulled a scarf out of the drawer. The scarf had duck prints on it.

“um.. how does it work?” Pure vanilla asked.

they all started to walk to the door. They walked to the main part of the building and walked to the exit.

“here. If you wear it, you are able to know where baker is at all times.”

“But how-“ Lilac was interrupted by the cookie by them closing the door and the lights turning off.

“Should we test it?”

“I guess, i’ll go first.”

So I was listening to go kitty go sped up for almost a whole hour (no explanation) and thought of something, cat-like baker. Baker acts like a cat (probably has cat ears and tail too if we’re going full cat-like), they would chase lasers, respond to ‘pspspsps’ and will purr when petted. Bonus: Baker is like the kuudere and tsundere anime character tropes combined. Welp, gonna go draw this idea now-

Also, who would most likely be the first one to find out that baker would respond to 'pspspsps' and chase lasers?

-Baker is able to hide the cat ears and tail.

-Everyone just assumes baker is just always tired, not that their a cat. They never caught on to the fact baker is amazing at hiding in small spaces, gets to really high and dangerous places randomly, and how they sneak up on someone so easy.

-Baker mostly likes to be alone, but has their moments of wanting attention but it only last so long.

-The first to catch on to this was ofc Lilac✨ -He was the first to find out baker purrs when being pet, its not loud but noticeable if you pay attention .

-Baker was embarrassed as hell, but couldnt do anything about it. They knew Lilac would keep it a secret, not because baker asked, because he wants to use the info later.

-The next to find out is almond. he has a cat of his own, and were coincidentally near him. When he did ‘pspsps’ baker quickly turned their head to him and said ‘yeah?’

-Another coincident, Walnut had a laser for the cat. Baker saw and went running.. per the usual. In the end baker had to bribe walnut not to tell anyone.
