I miss so many of the old modes and features from the earlier games :( having the extra costumes, extra weapons w/ stats and effects, profiles, the exhibition theatre, weapon master, team battle... like- imagine if sc5 had team battle and allowed clones. I could make a whole-ass army of Pyrrhas and go crazy stupid but noooo, they had to remove those older features. >:(

Anyways bc I was going wild esp about the extra costumes a few days ago I drew Pyrrha and Caelina's 1p/2ps + an extra costume for them both <3 (and modified Pyrrha's 1P and 2P a tad) [zooms under cut]

Suppose you're writing a story, with a third person narrator who might be just a little unreliable, and this narrator, for reasons of their own, has decided to conceal the gender of one particular character and to make it really obvious that they are concealing this. The character in question may, or may not, have an unusual gender presentation; that's part of what's being concealed.

How does the narrator refer to the character? Here are some options I thought of.

Narrator refers to character exclusively by their first name; uses normal English pronouns for everyone else.

Narrator has a one-syllable nickname for character, uses that instead of a pronoun. Narrator doesn't give anyone else nicknames.

When not referring to character by name, narrator uses some sort of descriptive tag like "the farmer." Narrator doesn't do this with anyone else.

Narrator uses a blatantly constructed gender-unspecified third-person pronoun like "xe" to refer to character.

Narrator uses some non-constructed language's normal gender-unspecified third-person pronoun, such as Hungarian ő, to refer to character. Always in italics.

Narrator is character, and refers to self exclusively as "I"; rearchitect the entire rest of the story as necessary to convert to first-person narration.

Which would you use? Do you have another option you like better? This isn't a poll because I want you to reblob and tell me your thoughts in detail.

As some of you know i spent all of October in a hospital so i didn't do much art nor did i participate in any art-related October events.

Some misc notes about me:

All my reader inserts are gender neutral, and if I ever make one that's not, I'll tag it. That said, their masculinity/femininity may vary but they will use they/them pronouns. THAT SAID, I and my sona use she/her pronouns (though I'm certainly not offended by they/them). I try to keep to they/them when talking about the reader insert, even if I'm drawing the reader insert as my sona.

I myself am asexual (sex-repulsed), bi/pan, and poly. I have two partners, a woman and an enby. (I'm not using partner and girlfriend interchangeably-they actually do refer to two different people. :P)
