So today's my birthday! I have a reason to promote my web-comic!

HAYDEN’S NOTES is a magic realism mystery with horror elements, set in the fictional country in the first half of the 20th century. The comic’s told in the non-chronological order revolving around Hayden Carter, immortal (by accident) gray mage, pursuer of knowledge and a witty nuisance for everyone around.

Once upon a time, long ago, you could get all-over-print t-shirts from Society6. I had some fractals on there at the time, so I did shirt-sized renders of a few and made them available. And actually sold a couple, which kind of astonished me, since I had done basically nothing to promote them.

Then their supplier disappeared, or something, and the shirts went away.

At some point, when I wasn't paying attention, they started doing shirts again. Recently, I was contacted by a previous customer, who was looking for some new fractal shirts, which means I'm now learning how their new shirt template works, and it's potentially much cooler than their old system. With the old system, the front and back were identical, but the new system lets you place separate images for the front, back, and sleeves.

So, I could do this:

with suitable sleeves to match.

HOWEVER, their automatically-generated preview thingy doesn't have any way of showing both the front and back of the shirt, which means that a hypothetical customer has no way of knowing what the back looks like, or that it's different from the front.

I wrote, and asked them about that, and got a response about "Maybe that can be a thing for the future." Sigh.

What that means is that when I inevitably succumb to the lure of excitingly mismatched front-and-back designs, I will have to post about them here, and it can be some kind of secret insider knowledge.
