- cat sweater: finished! but fugly. but was a fun few hours.
- baby blanket + 2 hats: finished! went home to a baby in colorado that is actually in the process of being born. i still worry over the colors not being... boy-ish enough? despite there being plenty of blue? idk.
- lap blanket: finished! i took this to work and i get many compliments still. this was actually my first project of the year and (as you can see) i struggled with the foundation chain being too tight. but i learned and i work with a bigger hook now!
- scarf: finished! this was made out of the leftovers from the baby blanket. i have a cute pink sweater it goes well with.
TO FINISH IN 2023, OR SO HELP ME GOD:
- whm poncho #1. still needs triangles and weaving in the ten thousand ends.
- whm poncho #2. now that i know how to work smarter it should come along faster than #1, but i’m being slow about it.
- sunflower blanket. hope to finish it before my husband’s birthday in march.
After losing nearly 60 pounds this year I’m dealing with what I’d consider a decent amount of loose skin and I’m surprised by how much I hate it. I thought I’d be fine with it but my self esteem has taken a decent hit because of it and a lot of days I feel less attractive than I did when I was around 140-150 pounds. It’s all confusing. If I can maintain my current weight for over a year I’m likely going to consider surgery to remove the excess skin despite the fact that it will be incredibly expensive and most likely entirely out of pocket. We will see 🤷🏼♀️
