Thinking about a winter holiday where jamil and kalim stay back at nrc and jamil gets a few weeks break, which only ends up being a few days break with all of kalims tricks.

Imagine staying awake all night with your f/o.

Maybe you just couldn't fall asleep or stay asleep and they wanted to keep you company until you could, doing everything they could think of to help you sleep. Like bringing you tea, or reading to you, or getting you an extra blanket, or playing some soft music or soothing ambient noise.

Or maybe there was something you were really excited about happening and you didn't want to miss it so you stayed up together to see it! Once the event is over, neither of you can really keep your eyes open or fight back your yawns, but you had such a great time.

Or maybe you were just enjoying each other's company so much that you just didn't want such a perfect day to end. And neither of you realized how late (or rather, early) it had gotten until you saw the world gradually getting brighter through the window!

If either of you have work or any other responsibilities, they'll make sure to cancel them so you both can spend the day catching up on rest. Sure, they may be exhausted now, but they don't regret a thing. How could they? They wouldn't trade spending time with their favorite person for anything.
