any artists selling prints/merch using autofulfillment have any recs outside of society6? i'm gonna look into it myself just wondering if any mutuals / people who see this have an idea

society6 is approachable, but they basically get all of the money and i also can't even tell when customers are getting their stuff. it's just pretty impersonal.

ideally i'd do runs/keep merch at my place and ship things out as they come in so everything can be more personal. it'll just be a while before i can afford it, unless i do some crowdfunded print runs or something.

Poshmark Scams

back in Feb. of this year (2023), I made this post about Poshmark. I took a break from selling old clothes for a few months and recently got back into listing some items I didn't want to throw out and have seen SO MANY SCAMS in just the two days of being back.

If you sell online, you need to follow these rules very strictly:

1.) Never message off the platform you're using. NEVER. They can message you on Poshmark. There is no good reason they need you to text them or message them on kik.

2.) NEVER click links that are sent to you on selling platforms.

3.) Never arrange for or agree to payment outside of the platform.

I listed my quilt on the platform withing minutes I received this comment on my listing:

Generic spam user name, new account (only a few days old), commented this moments after posting (bot behavior), requesting to be texted off platform. This is a scam. If you receive this, select the flag button and report for either spam or transaction off PoshMark.
