hes only does night showers, he does not wake up early enough for morning showers

the most attractive morning voice you will ever hear, waking up next to him is a literal dream every afternoon

he gets hiccups when he’s nervous or scared, its so easy to catch him out when he lies

hes always going on to you about your health but he never drinks water. like ever. he hates the way it tastes so you had to get him one of those air-up bottles so it would disguise the taste

he loves fancy plates for some weird reason - he comes home randomly with a new set with the cutest smile on his face

he used to have acne in his first and second year but it complimented his face so well?? like he looked drop dead gorgeous for no apparent reason

omg he loves candles like so much, everyone he knows buys him those really expensive yankee candles for christmas and his birthday

^^however, he does not light them, just likes to smell them; it calms him down

he has so many of those offline games and they take up so much of his storage, he complains about it all the time but wont delete any cause hes “worked so hard” to get where he is

the shittiest handwriting you will ever see. it is barely legible and he gets soo offended if someone makes fun of him for it

he loves to call you trouble shshajsha omfg he says it with this cocky little grin on his face as he does cause he knows how much you love it and he is so incredibly fine when he does

he loves the taste of those halls throat soothers, yk the blackcurrant and strawberry ones?? hes absolutely obsessed and buys them even when his throat is completely fine

a massive consumerist :// if he sees something being advertised he will buy it without thinking, you have had to tell him no multiple times

he hands you his favorite chuupet flavor, lemon, and watches as you struggle to tear it open. with minimal effort (and the fact that he's so used to opening these things a million times already), he tears it open using the fang of his teeth and hands it over to you. you quietly thank suna and eat your chuupet with cherry red cheeks. how cute.

OSAMU MIYA

he watches as you cut up the chives into uneven bits, and then comes a moment where you happen to slice a small part of your finger. you wince in pain, and osamu is quick to come to your aid. "you okay, darlin'?" he asks with care in his tone as you nod. you wash your hands with soap and water, and he comes back with triple antibiotic ointment and a bandaid (it had a bunny design on it).

KENMA KOZUME

you were trying to beat the final boss in the game you really liked, but it seemed almost impossible. kenma sees this and asks if he can give it a go. you say yes and watch as he swiftly plays through the entire level. when he finishes, you thank him with a big hug. he pouts, "i wanted a kiss, y/n."

IWAIZUMI HAJIME

it was the school festival, and the hallways were busy with students stressed left and right. you, in the midst of everything, get pushed around quite a lot. iwaizumi forcefully (not meaning for it to be harsh) pulls you aside to a safer part of the hallway, and you thank him. his sleeves were rolled up so you could see his biceps.. wow.

SEMI EITA

you kept looking over at the boy who shared your school's uniform. he sat next to you on the train. he had earbuds in, and you couldn't help but be curious as to what he was listening to. deciding that semi has had enough of your sneaky glances, he hands you one of his earbuds.

KUROO TETSURŌ

you were falling in and out of sleep while he tutored you. "just for five minutes.." you told yourself as you rested your head on the desk. kuroo sees you slowly drifting off to dreamland and decides to set aside your glasses for when you wake up later.

SAKUSA KIYOOMI

from the crowd's constant chatter, you couldn't hear what sakusa was trying to tell you, no matter how loud he tried to speak. soon, having enough, he pulled his mask down and whispered what he wanted to say in your ear. even then, you still couldn't hear him. (lol)

USHIJIMA WAKATOSHI

you both were at the summer festival, the fireworks being as loud and abrupt as you remember. your palms weren't enough to drown out the noise. it was starting to bother you, so much so that you contemplated on leaving. ushijima then places his warm hands over yours in an attempt to drown out the now muffled fireworks.

one thing i absolutely adore about the timeskip is how it gives us details about the characters we didn’t know much about before. like i know this probably isn’t true of EVERY character but looking at how many whose timeskip lives reflect their interests and such in high school (kenma, yachi, osamu, fukunaga, etc) then i’m willing to bet that a lot of the others had those hobbies and whatnot back when we first met them and i think that’s so cute??? like semi being a musician he probably had a guitar or something with him back in the dorms. kai became an arborist so maybe he liked taking walks to look at the trees and visited parks or had his own lil garden. lev and alisa might have played dress-up together when they were kids and could have gone shopping a lot in high school. akaashi became an editor so he was probably a giant bookworm and loved reading. like idk i just think it’s neat how it makes it feel like even in the future when we meet everyone again it really does feel like they’ve grown but haven’t changed at all y’know???

Frostbite

A little gory/exaggerated but I actually like this a lot :D

I like the idea of the freeze being REALLY rough on the sole survivor, and there’s physical trauma involved that they have to deal with past the mental trauma of waking up 200 years in the future.

Damien gets pretty bad barotrauma from being frozen for 150 years, wakes up to see Shaun get taken, then freezes again pretty much immediately afterwards. It’s not like he could fully thaw in those 2 minutes it took Kellogg to open Nora’s door. So now Damien is deaf in his left ear, and he has trouble keeping his hands warm :)

What they notice when you hug them

Hugging is one of the best feelings from friends, peers and significant others.

Smell. No it’s not weird, some men are gifted with an amazing scene of smell and that’s always the first thing they notice. They love nuzzling up to your neck or clothes and smelling their own scent or your favourite perfume, it’s comforting to them.

When you play with their hair sometimes it’s a comfort thing and other times you get carried away and play with their hair. They love the look of focus on your face, the way your mouth opens with focus as if you were applying mascara, the clear emotion in your eyes and they way you take in their whole being makes them aware of every hug you give them.

Kuroo, Kita, sugawara and Tendou

If your hug is too loose to too tight. They are able to decipher if your mood is just right or not and that makes them feel a sense of accomplishment. They love when you hug them tightly showing that you missed them or require attention, whereas they are understandable of loose hugs when you are tired or busy.

SEMI EITA

Pre timeskip Semi is more the guy to be asked out than do the asking out. Not in an 'he's got a bunch of fans clammering to do so, so he'll hvae his pick and say yes sort of way.' but more 'he's caught up doing his own thing so he doesn't think to ask people out' way.

He's a kind and caring person despite puting up a more indifferent front. Most of his time and effort goes into volleyball and his teammates. (despite them driving him a little nuts)

So you've got to have the Audacity™ to approach him, flirt and ask him out. And believe me he really finds that attractive. Loves a take charge in the moment, can take care of him back sort of person.

Needs someone to keep him on his toes and keep things interesting - someone a little unpredictable.

Timeskip Semi has a little more confidence in pursuing a romantic side of his life and is more of a flirt. He flirts with most people he finds attractive but he doesn't just ask anyone out. Waits to see if there's the right vibe - doesn't like just dating to date.

So let's say you asked him out. Your First Date would be something you planned during free time, likely during the weekend.

If you ask Semi what he would like to do he would be very diplomatic, letting you have control since you asked but voice 'something casual might be nice.' or offer up going to a food place.

Totally the kind of person to put your own preferences over his own, especially for the first date. To be honest, he's not really up to scratch on what the hot spots are for dates other than food places. Cafes right? That's where he would probably choose.

Ironically, with his teammates, if they were ever to get dates or romantic partners they would come to Semi for advice and he'd have perfect advice. Where to go, what to do, what to say, how to help them realise their feelings. But when it comes to him? Suddenly all that knowledge is lost. What knoweldge?

On the date itself he's a little jittery - though it's hard to tell unless you know him well. Taps his fingers a little on the table (moves to his thighs once he notices you staring at them). Tries hard not to keep flitting his eyes around and just focus on you but his mind is racing all over the place.

After you're on the date for awhile and ordered food he settles down and relaxes. He's never had trouble making converstion and this is no different. Manages to make you laugh effortlessly. Bonus points if you can do it back.

Post timeskip Semi is in the know. He's knows the places and it's effotless to woo you (even when he's not trying). Knows all the delicious dishes, things to recommend and is a little bit more relaxed.

Flirting comes naturally to him. Hes' nervous but plays it off smoothly. Knows how to keep his fingers occupied on his glass, feeling the condensation of his drink slide against them.

His first kiss is something that would happen after a few dates. He is patient. Patience itself. That and he's nervous as hell. He tried to do it once but was so aware of his hands shaking he bailed. Did an awkward laugh to brush it off as somethig else. Totally wasn't going in to kiss you.

Overthinks it for DAYS after that. Plans it out. Not just one plan of action to kiss you either. Plans out numerous scenarios so he's not caught off guard again. He's a cool guy. He wants to seem cool about this. Play it cool Semi.

All things go well until he's smacking his forehead against yours, cringing his nose a little as he goes in for that kiss. So much for the game plan.

You think this would dampen his resolve but its the oppostie. He takes this as his sign to just fuck everything and go for it.

Dives right in after the bumbling forehead smack and goes for your lips. It's a light kiss but with purpose. Then it's another and another.

Why didn't anyone tell him kissing felt this good? Never wants to do anything else.

Once you two are officially dating he'll find any excuse to take you somewhere private and kiss. Then it's making out. God he LOVEs making out.

He also doesn't want to be the only one initiating it to often though. That overthinking comes in. Doesn't want to come off super clingy even though he wants to permanently have his hands glued to your sides exploring. HELP HIM.

Loves a good casual arm slung around you too.

First time with Semi is born of these clingy, touching, wanting more moments.

It's not planned but it's something both of you likely have been thinking about for awhile. Each touch has been lingering longer, each kiss has been pushing deeper.

Then one day one someone asks 'can I touch you more.' There's a nod and clothes start to come off, piece by piece.

It's not a rushed process by any means but there' this sense of built of anticipation that sends a shiver up his spine.

Starts with the two of you lying beside each other, feeling each other out, exploring.

The main event - he has a thing for you being on top. Watching the way you move and grunt and push your forehead against his. He'll match your movements all the way.

All about giving and receiving after care. Cuddles and all.

do you have any specific headcanons for the teens??

I don’t really have too many headcanons for the teens. Most of them tend to draw from my own or my friends experiences/habits bc I find it funny so —

Taylor: has fibromyalgia and once texted the group chat something along the lines of “do you guys ever sleep so hard you wake up to a dislocated hip? I’m so good at sleeping” Scary was the only one who thought it was funny.

Normal: washes his hair in the sink more often than one should. He also wouldn’t have time to blow dry it before he’d put on the Teenie costume so his hair would end up crimped and half wet for the entirety of the day.

Additional HC that’s more family aligned: Before Hero and Normal were born, Sparrow painted a tree mural in each of their rooms. Hero eventually repainted her room when she was 12 but Normal’s tree is still visible :)

Hermie: is double jointed at the elbow and shoulder in his left arm. He can do this weird trick involving moving his clasped hands from behind his back, over his head, to his front. It’s weirdly bendy and uncomfortable to witness.

Lincoln: when he was around 8-9 yrs old, he attempted to convince his dads to help him make a sign that said “Tricks for Kisses (hershey kind)” around Halloween. He explained he was gonna do soccer tricks for kisses but did NOT explain he meant the chocolate kind. They did not make the sign.

Scary: when she was very little, like 4-5ish, Veronica signed her up for ballet classes. She did enjoy them until it was time for her first recital where, before even going on stage, she burst into tears and her teacher had to run out to collect Veronica from the audience. She was then signed up for soccer and was far more interested in that. Veronica still has the picture of Scary in her recital outfit in her wallet bc Scary couldn’t stand the idea of it hanging up in the house around Terry Jr.
