It was a quiet night in Gotham, when suddenly the coms crackle to life, with a voice, that seemingly none of the bats recognized. That is all but one. Damians blood ran cold as he heard something that should not be possible. He had never even let himself think about it, because even recalling the mere memory of it would shatter him.

Batman's voice was the first to come over the coms “oracle who is this? Where are they?”

Oracle may not have known where it was coming from, but he did. He knew it as he knew the heart beating in his chest and the air within his lungs. Without thinking he leapt off the building, grappling across the city that his father loved, but he has never thought of as his true home.

He was vaguely aware as Batman cried out for him, but that didn’t matter. His blood was rushing too quickly through his ears. Any protest or question simply ignored. He had somewhere he needed to be, and he needed to be there now.

Was the last thing that came over the coms before he reached up and muted everyone, everyone but the voice he was focused on. The world had narrowed down to the wind whipping past him, his heartbeat in his ears and the one voice that he had wish to hear again for so long.

His lungs burned as Wayne industries came in to view. Why? Why of all nights was he on the outskirts of the city?  He needed to move faster, faster, please be fast enough. Even at the end, when his brother knew grandfather was coming for him, his too kind brother never forced him. Always giving him a choice and he had failed his brother when he was willing to give up everything for someone as weak and pitiful as him. He wasn’t strong enough to run. As his feet made contact with the roof of Wayne enterprises a small, glowing object made it self known in the center of the roof. It appeared that stars itself littered and sprung from the object, beckoning him forward. 

He was vaguely aware of the rest of the bats and birds joining him on the roof, but that didn’t matter. All that mattered was that his shaking hand was reaching out to grab the old dog stuffed animal as the last glitters of Stardust left the plush.

A drop of water fell down and landed on the left ear of the love worn dog. Reaching up and touching below the domino he realize that he was crying. When did that happen? When was the last time this happened?

As he clutched the dog plush to his chest, a frivolity that would have never been allowed in the league, but still his brother who he loved most in this world snuck it in for him. Hiding it behind a loose stone in the wall. Bringing it out for him to hold as his big brother comforted him and told him stories of a better life that they could have. 

The demons heir, Robin, Damien sobbed, cried for the injustice of the world, for his brother who even waiting for him in the hereafter was still looking out for him. 

His body shook as wave after wave of agony and despair ripped through him. Years of repressed grief tore through his body sharper and with more deadly aim than any blade. The floodgates had been opened. His big brother had given him this one last gift. 

So when Batman, his father, his dad crouched down in front of him concern showing through his usual stoic expression he does not ignore what his brother has given him and leaps forward, clutching onto his dad and weeping for the brother that he lost and the son his dad will never get to know.

I am disgusted by how little shuggy content there is out there... so here's my drop in the ocean:

King/Emperor Shanks who is far too attached to his jester. Everyone sees it and it's so confusing because one second Shanks will be discussing war plans and looks like he's about to kill someone. And the next he's smiling like a kid in a candy store because the clown stumbled into the room because he was at the door, trying to eavesdrop. What's even odder - the king doesn't kill him for it, no jail, not even shooing him away. He makes him sit next to him (only because Buggy refused to sit in his lap) so he can hear them better. What's even more worrying is that he considers the jester's opinions on such matters.

The king had two addictions and only they could make him truly laugh and smile (other than his nephews). Alcohol, which he would be found consuming nearly all the time. And Buggy the jester. He didn't even have to be funny, he was just angrily shouting at the king most of the time and yet the king seemed to enjoy his company the most.

Behind closed doors, when he isn't keeping his jester under him, the king is almost always on his knees. Buggy may be a jester in the court but in his king's sheets, he's no less than a queen.

Shanks has asked for his hand more than once but Buggy could never accept. Being the king's lover out in the open meant a life of fear. And how could he take the hand of a man who he can reduce to a dog, who do willingly proposed they run away together.

So Buggy felt like a hostage. Not because of power imbalance between a king and a jester. But one of a man ready to throw away his kingdom without hesitation for a jester who promised himself to never let that happen. Therefore Buggy kept him on his knees like a common whore. Wailing and hauling for him.

The anger at the king who made his duties Buggy's responsibilities kept on boiling.

Pre season two AU where El didn’t disappear at the end of season one. Everyone knows she’s staying with Hopper except the government because stick it to the man

Steve has been acting off for a few weeks and finally admits to Nancy that he hasn’t heard from either of his parents in a really long time. They are gone a lot, but they haven’t even answered his calls, and that’s unusual.

Finally she convinces him to ask El for help. She found Will in another dimension, surely she can let him know that they’re okay at the very least so Steve agrees. He brings one of his old photos, searching for one that has both his mom and dad. He cant seem to find any, and he can’t ever remember really taking one together.

They get to the cabin and everyone is there. All the kids want to see El use her powers again, and Hopper and Joyce are concerned about the strain it puts on her. They all watch as Steve hands the photo over with slight nerves. El looks down at it and stops short, staring silently down at it as her entire body starts to shake.

“This is your Papa?” She asks teeming with rage, and Steve furrows his brow. He goes to open his mouth, but suddenly he is no longer in control of his body. El has her arm stretched out, and she’s dragging Steve over to her. She holds him in an iron grip, ignoring everyone’s shouting as she grabs the left sleeve of his sweater and yanks it up. There’s an ugly scar on his wrist, but not what she’s looking for.

El demands to know what it is. How did he get this mark. Steve stammers some story out about burning himself on the stove when he was Seven, clearly completely freaked out. He manages to pull himself out of her hold and bolts without another word, leaving the door open in his haste to get away. Hopper is the first to ask what the hell is going on, and El simply hands him the picture in response, going into her room and shutting the door.

Hopper looks down and drops the picture like it’s on fire. They all stare at the Polaroid with horror in their eyes as it slowly floats down to the floor.

Because there, standing on either side of a much younger Steve with a nearly buzzed head, is Connie Frazier and Martin Brenner

Been talkin on my discord server with some friends about a DC A/B/O au. But like, Gotham just says fuck gender.

Like they just straight up are mixtures of dynamics or change, depending on their mood, because there's so much chemicals everywhere along with so many curses in Gotham. Like they are straight up messed up down to a biological state. There is a reason that no one wants to go to Gotham and why they leave them alone for the most part. Like people even moving there eventually start to lose their dynamic or starts shifting as well, and it freaks people out.

Not to mention that Gotham horrifies those that believe they should still follow 'traditional' norms. Omegas are often far more violent and larger than the alphas, bettas egg on others instead of calming them. Or at least that's what Outsiders always see.

NUBE!!!! HI!!!! THIS IS SOMETHING IVE BEEN THINKING ABOUT. but i haven't decided yet.... on one hand, i love sephiroth and i want him to be happyyyyehfghdsj 😭 on the other hand, Sephiroth is obviously an important part of the story and taking him out as a villain would cause a big affect on it

I'm gonna use this ask as a drawing board here to write down some ideas. My first thought is that Zack could be the one with the sephiroth pilled brain. and there are two main ways i see him reacting to it. With #1 being the ignorer. He doesn't tell anyone and keeps it to himself, knowing how badly cloud and tifa were affected and feeling like the way hearing about what he's experiencing would affect them much worse than him dealing with it himself

And Idea two: Sephiroth would work as an in-universe representation of Zacks guilt over Angeal, genesis, and Sephiroth. His presence in visions would be not just a real thing happening, but story-wise it'd be able to help show visually how much Zack is struggling under the weight of his trauma

Redeeming Sephiroth could be an interesting arc, but this is post nibelheim, and he's sort of under Jenovas grip right now, already having abandoned most of himself into the lifestream. Is there anything left to be redeemed? And also...

its probably not a task to be done with tifa and clouds involvement.

we could go with the og story and have him haunting Cloud. who is also a chronic ignorer

Really the route this au goes depends on how much I change from the og story from this point onward.. to be honest I've only figured out zack and clouds recovery, I'm still shuffling through the main story events, though I'm thinking I'm gonna rewatch a gameplay on rebirth part 1 and take notes on what I think would change if zack was there (in place of cloud at some parts)

maybe sephiroth brings all of himself back from the lifestream and opens a bakery far away from everyone else and works through his issues and his guilt away from the cast... but that'd be hard to show in my aus story.

Yes, he is going to ignore that he was a demon because he doesn't live there anymore; he is in heaven now! Where everyone doesn't worry about anything! This is the first time where Peter ever, EVER, wanted to deny someone respect so badly. Yes, he does feel bad for denying Sir Pentious' request, but it's for his own good! Hell is a terrible place! He may have lived there before, but he is an angel now! Demons will take advantage of that if he ever goes down there again. And besides, heaven is a place where they got no worries, got no burglaries, no strife, It's the perfect afterlife! He has done everything to distract Sir Pentious to avoid his request and just hopes that Sir Pentious gives up.

So of course, Peter snitched when he learned that Emily and Sir Pentious tried to go to hell. He is sure that Sir Pentious would understand what he has done.

OKAY SO, IMPORTANT THING, I recently got my hands on Clip Studio Paint and I am still getting the hand of things.

okay, now for the ideas for this-

Both Geralt and Jaskier's designs are a mix of Netflix's The Witcher and the games and some other versions I've seen, PLUS Geralt's pointy ears wich were a spontaneous decision on my part

this came from an idea where Jaskier and Geralt save a young sorcerer/warlock/mage person who gives them the "gift" of shifting into animals(the wolf for geralt and the bird that I made Jaskier into is a Blue-Gray gnatcatcher)
