So I'm an Autism Behavior Technician, and I am absolutely overjoyed because my 12-year-old's mom just texted me to inform me that my boy has expressed an interest in Star Wars and they have started watching it and he's very excited "to be able to talk about it with me". 🥹

I am no longer covidy. However I am so fucking tired all of the time. The last two days I had to have a nap before 10 am. And I feel zero energy. Did other people feel like this straight after having covid? How long did it last? 

It probably doesn’t help that it’s super hot in Sydney right now which is making it difficult to sleep and unpleasant to go anywhere outside. I woke up at 2:30 am today and now it’s nearly 6am. 

And today is going to be a long day. No naps because I am hosting a (postponed) Christmas party in my apartment. 

#luckily it's just my high school friends and we will just be lounging about building our annual gingerbread monstrosity #and watching a terrible Christmas movie #(this year I may have suggested Chord's one so I'm a little excited for that) #but also I can't have a nap #which is going to be a struggle #ugh #send me energy and strength today guys #I need to clean the place and prepare food

In the last 24 hours:

I got the power on in my home (my home!!)

I got very little sleep and woke up before the sun to pack up my car and meet my aunt and cousin at my home and they very sweetly brought me housewarming gifts and helped teach me how to change the locks

Started carpet cleaning the floors, it was disgusting and oddly satisfying seeing all the things come out of the carpet I think it’s my new favorite chore

Had friends (maybe?) come over and we went on an adventure and I think I decided I’m not sure if I want to invite them over again they kind of soured my happy mood by being less than kind but that’s okay it’s a learning experience and I’ve calmed down with more carpet cleaning afterwards lol

One of my best friends had her baby!!!!! He is so precious!!!!!

And I introduced myself to two separate neighbors

It was a very brave day and at times I thought I might throw up from nerves but now I get to eat and go to sleep for the first night in my own home 🥰🏡🌈🌞🎉💜🍀
