AYA’S SEVENTEEN FIC RECS

note: ngl i meant to post this in dec as an end of 2022 sort of thing and as a bit of an apology for my inactivity,, but my mental health has not been fantastic,, but here are some of my favorite seventeen fics that i’ve read !! also ps pls feel free to send me some of ur own favs bc i miss reading fics && i’m begrudgingly admitting that i’m not great at finding fics,, like sm of these i have to thank yeona for sending me :00

i think i’ve rbed almost all the individual parts if ur interested in my more specific thoughts but this series has been an absolute comfort series for me for a while !! the relationships between the members and the reader - both platonic and romantic have been so lovely to read !! it’s such a genuinely warm series and the worldbuilding is also just soso fantastic !! it is a fantasy sort of au,, so it’s a bit daunting to get into just because the logic of the universes created in this genre is a bit difficult to grasp,, but uts has such an easy to comprehend world and everything is explained so clearly !! it’s genuinely one of the most comforting fics i’ve read this year and one that i’d highly recommend to pretty much everyone,, even if u aren’t a carat :D

APARTMENT A5C - @suhnshinehaos (smau - college au)

my favorite svt smau that combines some of my fav tropes/aus (housemates and uni) !! ++ i’d argue there’s a found family aspect that just melts my heart soso much,, like the reader’s relationship with the 96 line, both platonic and romantic are insanely heartwarming and comforting !! the banter is so entertaining && all of the additional friendships are just to die for !! esp sana and yuta with the reader !! but honestly this smau is just soso sweet and a story where u really root for the main couple to get together bc they just fit each other so well !! def another fic i’d recommend to anyone !!

LOVESTRUCK @/suhnshinehaos (smau - college au)

short endings for the reader’s other housemates !! has the same entertaining banter and cute relationship buildup that is just soso perfect to read after apartment a5c to treat ur post fic sadness <3 all the relationships are formed in a shorter period of time, but with just that same amount of investment !!

CHOI SEUNGCHEOL

OBVIOUS - @leejungchans (0.9k words - wedding florist and baker au)

so stinking cute !! the reader and seungcheol having related businesses and appreciating each other’s dedications to their respective crafts is soso endearing :D genuinely my fav seungcheol fic bc hello ? good writing + sulky cheol + established relationship ? an absolute 10/10 and must read that i revisit way too often :D

YOON JEONGHAN

ORDER UP - @/leejungchans (2.4k - cafe au)

half of these r gonna b recs from sol’s masterlist,, but her works r just too good !! this fic is so darn cute and entertaining, with jeonghan’s antics + his classic attention n care for those in his life were captured so well !! him remembering the reader’s order and his sheer dedication to orchestrating an opportunity for a conversation outside of the reader placing their order was just so fun to read && is genuinely a fic i reread time and time again :D

CAUGHT @/leejungchans (1.1k - preschool? teachers au)

this. this is so insanely endearing hello ?? jeonghan as a preschool teacher is absolutely perfect, and the banter mixed with such tender love that the reader and jeonghan share is just so <3 it’s a relatively short read,, so i’d highly, HIGHLY, recommend giving this a read because it’s soso worth it,, esp if ur feeling a bit down and in need of something fun and sweet to read :D

REDEMPTION @/leejungchans (11.5k)

such whirlwind of emotions but soso insanely riveting !! bad boy jeonghan,,, oh my gosh a concept i (YOU !!) never knew i (YOU !!) needed in my life. him driving a motorcycle. him w tattoos. insane. amazing. fantastic. and a redemption arc ??? reader holding him accountable for wrongdoings ??? genuine efforts to change ?? go read it rn !! u must !!

CANDLELIGHT @/leejungchans (1.2k) - a fav bc its own of my fav tropes :D (blind dates)

my all time favorite jeonghan fic. literally so sweet to read and had me grinning ?? in the middle of the night ?? at my phone !! that’s outrageous !! but so insanely understandable bc this is such an enjoyable read && just so easily heartwarming to hear about the setup of the blind date. honestly,, i don’t think i can understate just how charming and worth reading this is !!

THE MOST PRECIOUS THING @idyllic-ghost (3.6k - hospital/secret relationship au)

another charming and lovely fic !!! i’m such a sucker for the secret relationship trope,, and this fic had such a fantastic take on it !! i adored the dynamic that jeonghan and the reader had, esp how much they cared for and rooted for each other :DD the banter at work and the tender love they share at home was also just,, absolutely chef’s kiss !!

HONG JOSHUA

LOVE ON THE AIR @suhnshinehaos (smau - college au)

i was. so invested in this smau LMAO but the reader and joshua’s friendship was soso lovely to read !! the buildup and tension were absolutely insane and genuinely had me so excited every time i logged onto tumblr to check for any updates :D the side friendships were also just so lovable and endearing,, and i found this smau to overall b super super charming :D

joshua and the reader’s friendship is just so insanely sweet and endearing to read !! this fic is so reminiscent of a sentimental and fun coming of age romance,, which i feel like fits joshua soso well !! the whole time ur rooting soso hard for the main couple to get together, and just reading the buildup is incredibly entertaining !! and also the banter ?? literally so amazing && funny :D

the prose,, oh my gosh !! this fic played out so cinematically !! i loved jun and the reader’s friendship so much,, and how the fic progresses just naturally makes u root for a confession scene regardless of them being the main couple !! everything flowed so organically and their travel stories made for such a beautiful and compelling journey of love :D

this premise. my gosh it’s perfect !! this fic was such a great take on the second chance trope and the emotions were so fantastically fleshed out !! the progression of wonwoo and the reader’s relationship felt so natural and overall so enjoyable to read :DD

the pining !! the tension !! the friendships !! the anecdotes !! the prose !! go read it !! rn !! overall this was such a beautiful journey to read and i enjoyed it soso much :D aside from the main relationship,, i found the reader and jeonghan’s friendship to be soso sweet and endearing !! i also loved loved loved !!!! the writing style in this fic !! everything was so well paced and patient,, which made for such a compelling and beautiful journey that i absolutely loved !!

this. this was so fantastic. genuinely,,, everyone needs to read this when they can bc it is soso worth reading !!! i loved the friendships and the reader’s relationship with mingyu so much,, and gyuri !!!! gyuri !!!!! honestly i don’t think i can explain just how much i love this fic,, but pls,, pls read this bc this series is so insanely fantastic and had me so invested the whole way :DD

FIVE SHOTS AT LOVE @wooahaes (8.5k)

one of my favorite fics !! one of the first fics i read and i just absolutely fell in love with the setup of this fic,,, like the friendship with wonwoo just absolutely won my heart,, and the deepening relationship with the reader was the cherry on top !! such a beautiful and emotionally vulnerable fic that i found so much joy and sadness, but ultimately such an insane amount of comfort in :D def read and check out some of the warnings beforehand just in case !!

SUCH a cute little fic about mingyu trying to approach the reader but failing so miserably each time :D i had such a great time reading this and rooting for mingyu in each attempt !! his genuine earnestness was so adorable to read the way the ending panned out gave me so many giggles :D

athlete chan,,, oh wow,,,,, this fic was one of the first chan fics i read as i got into seventeen and definitely cemented him as one of my biases in the group :DD i love the banter that went on between the reader and chan,, as well as all the hilarious little details of the other columns !! like project vernway is forever ingrained in my mind whenever i see pieces christiano siriano or any other contestants from project runway !!! overall i just love how this fic played out and all of the hilarious interactions between everyone involved !!! def a super fun read :DDD

Last year you simply just weren’t up for anything and they both respected that and let you do your own thing, Kate of course still made sure to tell you how much you mean to her. You couldn’t help by wonder why Kate and Yelena had such a profound love for you as you only ever thought of yourself as damaged goods.

You turned the shower off and began to get dressed for the day, Kate was still decorating the Valentine’s themed cookies while Yelena was giving Fanny and Lucky their daily training session. You wore black jeans, your favourite boots and one of your comfort tees before you made your way into the kitchen of the shared apartment.

“Happy Valentines!!” Kate smiled the moment she saw you. She grabbed the plate of cookies and wandered over to you, placing a kiss on your cheek. “I made these for you” she added happily.

“Thank you, they look really good darling, happy Valentines” you replied with a smile, “I’ll have some after lunch” you added.

“Sure thing love” Kate said before she placed the cookies back on the countertop.

Yelena entered the kitchen with both dogs following behind her, “Happy Valentines detka” she said with a soft smile. You returned the smile, “Happy Valentines love” you replied. You didn’t quite understand Valentine’s Day, you thought it was just an excuse for people to spend more money on gifts or just another day for people to think about other than their day-to-day life.

“So, I have something planned for us to do tonight, if you’re up for it of course and it’s okay if you’re not but” Kate paused before she rushed to the dining table to return with two envelopes in hand, “please read this and then you can decide if you want to do something or not” she went on, handing you the envelops. You were a little confused, but you smiled softly, “do you want me to read these now?” you asked, unsure when you were supposed to read them.

“Yeah” Yelena nodded, “Kate and I are going to go out for an hour to give you the time to read them, if you need us, text us and we will come straight home” she added while Kate threw on her coat. You watched as your girlfriends took the dogs and walked out the door, leaving you in complete silence as you sat down on the sofa. Each envelop at your name on them, and you were able to tell whose letter was who’s by their handwriting. You started with Kate’s letter.

“Dearest Y/n,

Where do I start? There are so many things I want to say but Yelena told me to do my best not to overwhelm you with my feelings. So, if I do overwhelm you, I apologise.

From the moment I saw you, I knew there was something different about you. I can’t imagine the things you’d been going through before we found you that day but when I saw the look in your beautiful eyes, I promised myself in that moment that I would never let anything bad happen to you again and that I would do everything in my power to make you see you are much, much more than just an experiment.

I know you never had a great start to life and if I could change the past, I would do so in a heartbeat!

Okay, Yelena was just reading this over my shoulder, so I am going to get to the point…

I want to show you every single day how much I adore you, how much I love seeing you smile, the sparkle in your eyes when your laughing, God, your laugh is magical! It makes everybody around you join in. I know you think Valentines is a bit of an unnecessary day and I totally see why you think that but, hear me out. It’s really just an excuse for me to give you as many gifts as I like, to buy store brought cookies and decorate them and we all act like I baked them and of course, for me to make you smile. I want everybody to see the person who makes me giggle and happy, I want people to see the smile that I fell in love with.

You finished Kate’s letter with a chuckle, it was very Kate and you loved that. Next was Yelena’s letter and for some reason you felt a little more nervous to open hers.

“Detka,

I am sure Kate has done most then woo you with her letter, I hope she didn’t ramble too much! But I know whatever she said in her letter, she is right.

You and I come from such different backgrounds to her. When I first met her, I didn’t understand why all the little things mattered so much. You and I, although come from different situations, we share the same mindset. We were weapons, nothing mattered to us but the target. Christmas and Thanksgiving for me was all fake, a set up for some photos and for a moment to think that things were different but the next day I was back to training.

Kate, she loves all these little days and between you and I, she’s made me love them too. It’s easier said than done but we can’t let them have any power over us anymore detka. You are allowed to be happy; you are allowed to enjoy little things; you are allowed to love the things you love and dislike the things you dislike. You can wake up at 3 in the afternoon and that’s okay.

The point is, it’s okay. You’re okay. Maybe not fantastic or as happy as you want but to me and to Kate, you are perfect.

Tears streamed down your cheeks as you folded Yelena’s letter and placed it on the coffee table. You smiled softly to yourself as you reached for your phone. Your girlfriends’ words floated around in your mind as your thumb hovered over Kate’s phone number, your heart felt full, full of love that you wanted to share with them so instead of calling Kate, you called Wanda for a little help.

“Thank you for help Wands, I am so sorry I had to drag you away from Nat” you smiled at Wanda as you walked her to the door. “Don’t stress honey, they are going to love it” Wanda replied, “if you need anything, you know you can always reach out” she added.

“I will, thank you. Happy Valentines” you replied.

Once Wanda left, you double check to make sure everything was perfect before you called Kate. It was very handy that Wanda could pull anything from her magic, the apartment was littered with pink and purple rose petals, candles lit up the apartment while the freshly made pizza was sitting in the centre of the dining table just waiting to be ripped into.

“Kate, I’m ready, I would love to do something with you and Yelena” you smiled to yourself as Kate answered the phone. “We’ll be back in 10! Get ready, I have something special planned!” Kate replied before hanging up.

It was the longest 10 minutes of your life, your palms began to sweat, your mind racing in hopes that you didn’t go overboard with this little surprise and that Kate wouldn’t be disappointed.

Your heart skipped a beat when you heard the door open, you stood at the end of the small hall with two roses and a welcoming, warm smile. “Bab-“ Kate paused the moment she saw you, “we’re home” she added slowly.

“I know you’ve made plans and we can do them, I just” you paused as you took a few steps closer to your girlfriends, closing the gap distance between you all, “I just want you both to know how much those letters mean to me and I am really sorry that I’ve been so closed minded to days like these, I love you both so, so much” you went on, handing them a rose each.

“To hell with my plans, this is perfect” Kate said, smelling her rose and embracing you in a tight hug. Yelena smiled lovingly you before Kate pulled back only to kiss you deeply. Your hands landed on her hips, pulling her closer to you to deepen the kiss.

“I’m proud of you” Yelena mouthed as you and Kate pulled away for air. You smiled softly at her, “we shouldn’t let the pizza get cold” you said.

“You got pizza?! This is the best Valentine’s Day ever!!” Kate said before making her way into the dining room. “There’s almost mac n cheese” you said as Yelena gently pulled you close to her, “You’re amazing, don’t ever forget that” she said before kissing you deeply.

Title: Glass on the Ice and the Wind

Pairing: Taehyun x gender neutral!reader

When you return to your hometown, you don't tell anyone of your journey.

Well, in ways, of course, you do. You must. People knew where you were going, knew the treasure that you sought—they knew you meant to find the rare dragon sands lost to legend hundreds of years ago or more. It would not have made sense if you'd come back, shimmering sand in tow, ready to be blown into the finest glass the world has ever known, and had no adventure in finding it.

So you evade. Tell them bits and pieces, blather about the unimportant things—the price of supplies in surrounding villages, how green the forest leaves glinted under sunlight, the way the white sands of the beaches you crossed glowed in the pale of the moon. You tell them about towns they know, about some they do not know, and you tell them, of course, that you had a guide.

"I would not have found the sands if not for him," you admit readily. "My journey would have been for naught, had I not found him first."

And so, there are questions about your guide that follow. Who was he, what was his name, how did he know the way to the dragon sands and why did he not come back with you?

To all this you laugh, and smile, and give blithe answers away as though there is nothing to hide. A simple traveler of the winds, who gave you a name you could not pronounce (which is true—it was simply not the only name he gave). The path to the sands is one his family has known for generations. He would not have come, though you asked once. He has his own home on the winds, traveling where his fancy guides him—to the snow, to the sands, to the water, the trees.

And all of this is true. None of it is a lie. Much easier to tell them this than, say, tell them that your guide was a dragon.

It's not as if they'd believe you, anyway. Dragons have been the stuff of legend for millennia—even more so than the sands you found, and the shimmering glass they make. No one believes they exist. You wouldn't have, if you had not met one yourself. Which is why you neglect to tell them this one detail, even though it forms the core of one man whom you've grown to care for deeply.

Taehyun. You remember him every moment in your forge, with every bead of sweat that drips down your face. The fire in his eyes follows you in the flames that flicker and leap in your fireplace, the warmth of his laugh etched into every glass sculpture you create. You see him, the dragon you found and helped nurse back to health—you see him everywhere you go, though he has never once been here.

On a dark night, the moon shining full in the sky, you find it in yourself to finally admit it, then. That you fell in love with a dragon. And that though you understand why he couldn't come with you—the same reason you couldn't stay with him—it still hurts to know that there could be nothing more of it.

It's not fair. Which is obvious—life isn't fair—but on nights like these where you miss Taehyun so much it feels like your breath is gone, you almost wish you hadn't gone on your search for the dragon sands. Almost is the key word, almost—because you know in your heart you never could have regretted meeting Taehyun, meeting a dragon and learning legends long lost to humans as you helped him in the ways you could to recover from the curse that had tried to eat away his soul. But if you'd never met him, never heard his voice, never saw his dark eyes under the light of the moon...

If you hadn't known what you were missing, at least you'd never have to mourn it.

But that sort of thinking isn't fair—not to Taehyun, and not to yourself. Which is why, in the morning, you go back to work as usual, and continue to find small comfort in your dragon's warmth everywhere you look.

Until one morning under a cold, blue sky, when the wind blows so strongly that you crave the blazing heat of your forge as soon as you've forced yourself to climb out of bed.

It was a day like this when you met the dragon who used to ride on the winds—no ice and snow, not just yet, but gales whipping you to and fro until you sought shelter in what you thought was an unoccupied cave. You smile a little at the memory, laughing at your fear when you realized the cave was not, in fact, unoccupied, and when you enter your forge the cold melts away and you get to work, toasty warm and safe from the chill. You haven't even been in there half an hour, though, before someone comes pounding at your door.

"Y/N!" A pink-cheeked, breathless Huening Kai stands before you when you step outside. "Someone in the square is looking for you!"

"Looking for me?" You frown, trying to recall if you're expecting any guests. None that you can remember—it's getting too cold for travel, anyone who would have visited would have come in the warmer months. "Did they specifically ask for me? What was their name?"

"He didn't give a name, but he says he seeks the artisan who shaped dragon glass." Kai's eyes sparkle with interest, which is all that keeps you from shutting the door—too often, since you sold the first shimmering piece of glassware that sparkled like the first sun on snow after a blizzard, have you been besieged by those wanting to buy your little shop or try to pry the secret of the dragon sands from your lips. "He's not like the others, Y/N. He said you would know him."

Your frown deepens. Who would you know—

Oh.

You blink rapidly once, twice. Even with the chill of the air, something begins to warm in your stomach, in your chest—a reckless hope that grows against your will the longer you look at Kai. Because it can’t be him. There’s no way.

And yet—

"You said he's in the square?"

You’ve thrown yourself into the cold wind almost before Kai has given you an answer.

The walk to the square is a short one, barely five minutes on a good day. In weather like this it's usually empty, and for good reason—you certainly wouldn't choose to if you didn't have to. But today, there are more people milling about than usual, fighting the sharp wind to gain a glimpse of—

Him.

Wrapped in brown furs tinged with the slightest red, ice-pale streaks running through his dark, dark hair. Warm skin that almost seems to glow, and large eyes that catch yours where you stand at the edge of the square, knees turned to water and arms to jelly. He's dressed so plainly, just the way you would be if you'd thought to put on a coat to ward against the wind, but somehow, still, he wears those ragged furs like a prince.

Taehyun. The dragon you met, the dragon you loved—in his human form, now, in a place you never thought you'd see him.

You're not sure who moves first. In the end, though, it doesn't really matter. You meet, somehow, and then it's just you in his arms and him in yours, his inner warmth seeping into your skin, sheltering you against the chill the way he always did.

"You're here." You realize you're tearing up the moment you speak, embarrassment and emotion clogging your throat. "Why are you here?"

He laughs, and the sound reverbs through your chest—comforting, like the soft gusts of wind that had followed his laughter when you tried to cheer him as he healed in his dark cave. "Why aren't you wearing a coat?" he asks in turn, all the warmth of his love in his eyes as he repeats a question he asked you so many moons ago. His arms pull you closer than you ever thought possible as your hand rises to touch his shoulder, his chin, his cheek, eyes searching his throat where you know there are scattered scales of icy blue hiding behind the furs covering his skin.

You snort wetly, wiping the tears from your face. "Answer me first."

"As you wish." He smiles, and you realize then how much you missed this—how, in the end, you wouldn't have been able to bear the distance from your love, your dragon—how you'd have set out to find him again at least once before you died. The flames that dance in his eyes burn so steadily, rooting you to the here, the now, even as the winds that gust around you threaten to blow you away. "I told you before that I go where the winds blow."

A kiss to your forehead, another to your nose. Feather light, butterfly soft, and then he presses his lips to yours.

You're there for seconds. You're there for an eternity. You're there as the sun rises and sets, the winds howling past—you're there, here, steady against the earth, steady as the fire banked in Taehyun's soul, whose warmth he has shared with you.

When you break away, his eyes are soft, softer than they've ever been. And as you cup his cheek in your palm, brushing away a tear that has just begun to trickle down his skin, he speaks once more. "I go where the winds blow," he says again, words so quiet yet so warm against the icy cold. "This time, they brought me to you."

Zadie, Zadie, Zadie I know you said Poison bonus chapter, but may I recommend something even better, Hype Boy bonus chapter just in time for the one and only Jake Sim's birthday.

The feminine urge to write a fic for Jake's birthday is just too much, like my heart says do it, but my brain says finish your Sunghoon fic it's already at 51k and so close to being done.

I'm out of plot ideas for the moment, which like I've sent so many, instead just enjoy some thoughts for the moment.

Once they start dating y/n is quick to realize when Jay gets mad, rather than possibly yell and all at her, he'd just invite Sunghoon to go workout, getting his anger out that way rather than possibly hurting anyone with his words.

Jay is the type that once him and y/n start dating, he won't let either of them go to bed angry, it would hurt his ego, but he'd put himself aside and apologize for the argument even if it wasn't his fault. He'd apologize and just confuse y/n, since she's be just be like 'but I started the argument' and Jay's just like 'well I'm sorry I let you start an argument'. They definitely talk through everything, and Jay takes each and every word y/n says to heart. The boys definitely send that one picture that says 'me and bitch don't argue she tells me shut up and I do' to their gc and are all 'that's u Jay'.

Once y/n and Jay are dating, Sunghoon would find a reason to be at Jay's penthouse every night, just because he wants the good food. Jay would cook all the good food while y/n bakes all the amazing treats, Sunghoon calls them his parents at least once, probably in the gc at some point asking Jay 'what's for dinner', and when Jay's like 'why', he's like 'ur my parents and I'm hungry'; this interaction gets him uninvited from Jay's penthouse for like a week, until y/n ask why Sunghoon hasn't been over to raid their freshly baked goods and Jay lets him back in, but limits his visits to once a week.

Jay said y/n can personalize her area, but she refrains from it, not wanting to possibly put something out Jay does not like. Jay however notices that she does not personalize her desk like he said she can, despite how much he hates it and it hurts him, he puts a few personalized items on his own desk, seeing those makes y/n feel more comfortable about personalizing her own desk. While he might hate the items he put on his desk, he enjoys seeing the joy in y/n's face as she personalizes her own desk.

Jay isn't one for personalizing anything, but once him and y/n are dating, he has a picture of her in one of his desk drawers and whenever he can't just look at her, say he's stressed or just missing her beautiful face, he just opens up the desk drawer and stares at the photo. The boys definitely catch him smiling into his desk drawer at some point, and then clown him about how down bad he is.

Jay officially goes to therapy and stops using his notes app as a therapist after he overhears y/n say guys that take care of their mental health are sexy.

Omg Kyle this sounds weird but it feels so good to see that other people go through the same shit with their teeth because of their mental health. I have so much issues with my teeth because I couldn't take care of them for a long time plus I am also autistic which makes the dentist for me to overstimulating and overwhelming (I am 21 and still go with my dad so yeah...) but I started going to the dentist and now I am finally able to take care of my teeth. I am still in some pain because of the damage but I am trying to forgive myself and also my dentist was very nice and understanding. So I would love to see you to tell me more about your appointments etc!! I was crying over my teeth an hour ago lmao then I saw your posts. Hope you are well!

I talk about it to normalize it for myself, to make me feel less ashamed over it and make me feel less guilty and I'm so glad it helps to see my talk about it to make you feel better about it to!

teeth are such a thing that you dont notice are shit until its to late and for my my bad depression which made me not be able to take care of myself, mixed with adhd that made me genuinely forget and an added major disordered eating which resulted in me eating to much sugar made it that my teeth are in a really really bad state now. none have to be pulled but I need 4 appointments to get all my cavities fixed.

I am so proud that ur still going n trying its the first step to everything and it SUCKS how hard it is to fix your ways of living and do things that wont fix it now but will make it easier for future you!

#im so glad ur dentist is nice abt it to! my dentist has been the same for all my life and he used to love my teeth so theres always this #air of disspointment around him and my appointments which made it so so hard to go #im an adult now and i still feel a lot of shame when im there #i went to a diff dentist for a lil and it felt less ashamed w her but I noticed I just felt like more comfort after going to my normal #denstist like my teeth hurt less after I go to him then the other denist yk so I can handle the shame for a lil #kyle.answers

this is rlly long sorry lol i just got carried away

hi ive just been feeling overwhelmed and i wanted to get this off my chest and maybe get some advice. i think youve seen blushydiors post on how she manifested her dream life with super hard circumstances and ive been using that as kind of a guide. my emotions wojld be up and down, for a while affirming did make me feel good and i felt like i had what i wanted (i do think i was and perhaps still am overcomplicating it because she said she reached the sabbath and *then* received her desires so i thought i needed to do that, key thing here is i was thinking i needed to do something else to get my desires.)

anyway yesterday i was rlly down cuz a circumstance just kept getting shoved in my face i literally felt sick but i tried my best to affirm and reason to myself that the world is just a response blah blah, i dont need to believe my affs whatever. but i always find myself coming back to this weird belief that i do need to, and not believing my affs makes me feel hopeless because i dont feel like i have what i want and it feels like thats going to do nothing. ive done my best to affirm/persist n flip thoughts and stuff and tried to tell myself im doing everything right but i just kept worrying. today and yesterday ive just felt so tired because ( that circumstance that was getting pushed in my face was school starting soon, i want to reverse time) i kept noticing i was constantly picturing myself in the future going to school and without my desires and literally no matter how much i flipped that thought it still came back and people saying to persist n flip ur thoughts, itll change ur beliefs, and that your dominant thought has to be that you have ur desire made me feel like i had to keep flipping it and im just so tired i literally cant. sometimes i do get motivated and genuinely believe my affs that i always manifest in 2 days and theres no way the 3d couldnt show me what i want cuz its just a shadow, but it comes and goes. i feel hopeless and i dont wanna give up because itd be so damaging and ill just never let myself, but im just scared. these intrusive thoughts are just 3d circumstances, fear created by me so i should easily be able to rise above them, they dont affect anything, but i just want to believe my affs man itd feel so much better. ive seen stories of ppl like blushydior and her story and ppl just like her who manifested with her guide, how they just never gave up, and my circumstances are absolutelt nothing compared to theirs but im just so tired i dont know how to stop overcomplicating this or have faith which i dont even need.

my intrusive thoughts just wont go away and my beliefs feel like they arent changing i just dk what to do. i kinda realized i should just affirm my beliefs change easily n stuff but im still gonna send this if you want to respond with any advice or anything. thank u, im so sorry this is long

hi honey! i get what you mean. always remember that if manifestation is hard and consuming your mental health, it’s not real manifestation. my best advice would be to take a little break to focus on you and only you, take care of your body and mind, and once you’re ready, manifest, persist, don’t let anybody tell you what you have and what you don’t, only you decide!!! sending you big big love and many hugs, you will make it!!! <3

I hold no grudge against op, cuz i do recognize this kind of thing is just apart of a larger pattern I’ve seen forever since using the internet where a lot of the internet likes to preach abt de-stigmatization n mental health awareness… but unfortunately the internet doesn’t rlly create platforms that are conducive to actually keeping that kind of thing in mind and practicing it effectively. ik that most times (since this is a problem that started in the real world n sure as hell hasnt been solved any better lmao), that unless you are just experiencing palatable symptoms like depression or anxiety… u are opening yrself up to that kind of thing, n i know that just comes with the territory of being mentally ill and havin any public account. im sure its even somewhere in the fine print of the terms n conditions that no one ever reads LOL. i try to brush it off, but it is still hurtful sometimes and so that’s why I left that reply to just explain where i’m coming from and why i left those tags in the first place. cuz again they dont know me and idk them so its not anything personal! but again ik thats sorta the game u play when u post anything yknow? like for all anonymity’s benefits, there are cons like ppl don’t Know i experience manic type symptoms or fixate excessively if they dont know me or follow me, esp when i don’t leave that stuff in my bio anymore or always post abt it so they Don’t Know. and it’s just generally very prevalent to see someone saying Wild Shit n immediately be like ‘wtf?’ n post it without rlly giving it much thought. I mean, I’ve probably done that before myself w/o rlly giving a second thought to what I was doing 😭. so I try not to take it too personally n hope ppl will be sympathetic if they do see the other person’s side of things, at least!

But again I do rlly appreciate u sending this cuz it was still very reassuring and again im rlly happy u feel more inclined to share ur thoughts after following me cuz again u are so thoughtful n passionate n i still love reading ur posts n seeing ur art abt anything u are interested in even when its not Sunny stuff, theres always so much detail in everything u do its incredible! 💖 and dont worry abt me cuz i def dont plan on stopping the rambling myself anytime soon BSJDBDJ
