What will you be doing?
I'll be working at Google as an Associate Product Marketing Manager.
What advice do you have for Harvard undergraduates, now that you’ve graduated?
Whether it be studying abroad, interning at a company, or spending time at home, it's really important to be intentional about your summers and think about what you'd like to gain from them. Summers are an amazing time to try something new, develop a passion, or just take time for yourself - so actively reflects on what your needs and passions are when figuring out your plans. The earlier you figure this out, the earlier you can find tangible ways to achieve your summer goals and ambitions. (Also summer are a great time to try something new, so try to push yourself to have a unique experience each summer!)

Shayna, the longest shelter guest, still waits - maybe after 180+ days of waiting, this Sunday afternoon event will bring her good luck and a forever family! Shayna (#A4504156) is a very playful older lady with a heart of gold to match her coat. While she may seem a little indifferent when meeting strangers, our staff and volunteers know a very different side of Shayna, and it's all wiggles and love! ❤ One volunteer who took her on a day foster field trip described her as "a cat-dog because she prefers to meet people by them kneeling and waiting for her to come up to them and then she wants her booty rubbed." She takes treats politely, walks well on a leash, and loves leaning against her friends when getting pet to make sure she's soaking up all of the attention! 🥰 Shayna has been able to coexist with other similarly-sized dogs that read her social cues, but has not liked other dogs getting in her personal space too much. She'll need to meet any dogs she'll be sharing a home with before you adopt, so you can see if they'll be compatible pals before your adopt, and will need everyone in her new family to be at least twelve or older. Today’s#SeniorSpotlight is on Marissa Brown and Marta Malinowski? Marissa is an English literature major with minors in Chemistry and Film Studies. She is involved in Circulating Literature Society, Order of Omega, The DePauw, and binging Netflix. After graduation Marissa is attending the NYU Summer Publishing Institute and then hopefully getting a job as an editor somewhere! Marta is an Education Studies and Psychology double major with a minor in History. At DePauw she is the VP of Kappa Delta Pi Education Honors Society, the Philanthropy and Service Chair for Order of Omega, member of Mortar Board, and member of Psi Chi. After graduation Marta will attend DePaul for their Secondary Education MEd program so she can teach high school social studies!

Taking a few moments to appreciate our accomplished seniors.✨ Meet graduating senior, Abby Cavanaugh! Abby is graduating with a degree in public relations and a minor in marketing. In her college career she served as Alpha Phi’s Director of New Member Education and currently serves on the ASI Board of Directors representing the College of Liberal Arts. Abby says one of the best decisions she has ever made was to live in the Alpha Phi house her sophomore year. She attributes a lot of her success to Alpha Phi, especially her freshman year, when the sorority made a big, new school seem smaller and less intimidating. Spotlighting our former CMT president, EMILY AVAZIAN 💗 She says, "What I'll miss most about DG are the friendships and relationships I've been given the opportunity to create throughout my time at UCSD. Another #SeniorSpotlight for ya! Kelsie Roberton is an Environmental Studies major and Political Science minor. She was a member of the Sustainability Leadership Program for three years and held two leadership positions as Community Outreach Student Manager and Campus Farm Intern. She was also secretary for Environmental Club and a member of the Environmental Fellows Program. Kelsie plans on doing some traveling and working for the organization ICLEI on their sustainability procurement plan project after graduation!
