Rules for Exploring inside the Fence
Dear visitor - this forest is a restricted area. While entering is not forbidden it is highly discouraged. Should you choose to disregard this warning please keep in mind the following rules to ensure your safety.
Entering
Go in a small group of no more than four.
Bring a torch and some water, but don't bring any food.
Wear warm clothes, no matter the season- inside it's always cold.
Don't wear any jewelry- the Gentleman Beggar will hunt you. Keep some coins in your pocket in case you meet him.
When approaching the fence, listen for a low humming. If you hear it - turn back. This isn't the right time to enter.
Find a hole in the wiring to get in. Do not make your own way! While crossing through the hole, do not speak.
It's okay to touch the fence, but be gentle.
There is no use in marking the hole, it will disappear anyway. Another one should show up when you need it.
On the other side you may explore freely, but always stay in sight of the fence. If you wander too far you may never find back.
You can talk, but don't be loud. It would be rude.
If your torches begin to flicker turn them off and on three times - they should work again. If they don't, keep them turned off.
As you explore you may hear sounds from within the woods. Don't listen to them and definitely don't follow them. As long as you stay close to the fence you're save.
If at any time you hear the humming - find the closest hole and leave.
The Gentleman Beggar
At one point you may come across a man in a dark coat, wearing no shoes. He will look friendly and most likely smile at you.
He will always come from the direction you're heading to.
Keep walking but don't run - he will chase you.
Hold your breath when you get close.
He might greet you. If he does, nod at him but don't speak. It's important to hold your breath until after you pass each other.
If he asks you for change, firmly shake your head.
Once you have passed each other, wait for a few more paces and then slowly exhale. Listen for his steps. If he keeps walking everything is fine. If you hear him stop - run.
You won't find any holes - since the fence wants to keep him inside. Instead, run as fast as you can and throw your coins into the woods. He will go after them and not return.
If you don't have any coins, then you just have to be faster than your friends.
The Door
If, at any point you see a door in the fence feel free to look at it. However you mustn't open it. The only way to leave is through the holes and you don't know where you might end up if you go through the door.
You may knock if you want.
If someone knocks back, count the number of knocks. They tell the time you have left.
If you don't hear anything and something begins rattling the door handle - leave immediately.
If it's your own voice answering, don't answer and move on. Ignore it, even if it starts calling after you.
Leaving
Exit before the sun begins to rise or you won't be able to leave at all.
If some of your items are missing, you won't get them back.
When you leave it's important to count your group members before you go through a hole. If there are less than you came - you will have time to mourn once you're outside. If there is more - make sure you don't go last.
Keep walking straight back to your car - if you turn around you might be drawn back inside. This time there will be no more holes to get back out again.

My vision of a leshen in modern times.
A figure I sculpted a while ago, along with a matchbox car, I had a lot of fun vandalizing.
Sculpted with fimo and painted with acrylic paint.

A challenge with @polarhydra and @nekuart I decided to design a water starter and totally forgot to post it its typed water/psychic and based on a capybara Capazy:It makes you feel calm and nice when you pet it. It's a popular pet. Capentle: Its calming presence is often used in small hot springs and schools, to ensure a comfortable atmosphere. It loves to be cuddled and the attention that comes with it Calmbara: It's massive size allows for great amounts of Energy to be released, making it useful in industrial environments to keep people calm. Petting it releases endorphins.
