Kiku got some new stuff recently and is gonna post about some of it. ☺️ (only some of it right now because can only access some of it).
Kiku got Kiku's first tactile symbol
ID: A black and red 3D printed tactile symbol. It is a black diamond with a large red X in the middle, under the X is a small white sticker with no on it in black text. End ID.
Kiku got a He/Him pronoun pin. ☺️
ID: A white hand holding a swirly trans pride colored pride pin. Written on the pin is He/Him in a bubbly font. There are little hearts and blue and pink speckles around the text End ID
And Kiku got a new sensory toy! It was originally all connected together but two of the pieces are really noisey and one is not so Kiku disconnected them. This is a baby sensory toy from Walmart. It's a Spark Create Imagine Sensory Dessert Rattle. Tge donut rattles and the cookie spins and make a clicking sound. Kiku's favorite part is the waffle, it's name is Eggo. ☺️
ID: A cream color waffle shaped popit with a little loop at the top laying on a brown comforter . The popit has 9 oval shaped bubbles. End ID
ID: A chocolate chip cookie toy and a orange donut toy with green and yellow sprinkles linked together with a white ribbon. End ID

Plap (they/them)
A Beanie Buddy platypus, bought and modified in August 2023. I always thought it was a bit strange that these platypuses were tailless, so I made a tail! The butt tag had to be moved to the side to make room for it. I also added a crinkle to the tail and a squeaker to the beak, and embroidered some nostrils too.

Hey yall, do you know where to buy sensory and fidget toys, besides online?
My mom got a gift request tag off the Giving Tree at her church and it's an 8-year-old boy who wants sensory and fidget toys, and she is not a big online shopper.
We have one store that caters to Autism needs in the area but it's pretty far, and I'm not sure what other stores have this kind of thing.

I have a question.
What do other people here use for a sucking stim?
I like my chewys but they hurt my jaw when I try to use them for sucking because I try to hold them between my teeth for so long.
I have tried lollipops but they get sharp edges when they break and cut my tongue. And they're only temporary.
I need an alternative because I am hurting my tongue and mouth from how much I'm seeking oral stimulation.
