The rise in attention to the South Korean 4B movement these last couple days is so thrilling. I see so many women talking about it on tiktok, entire comment sections flooding with “4B movement now” whenever a woman complains about her shitty moid of a partner, coupled with detailed chroniclings of the ever-decaying state of the male loneliness epidemic.

"separatism/anti-natalism is so unrealistic. it won't fix the problem." okay and marrying men worked? bearing their children worked? educating them worked? transing your gender worked? did the patriarchy stop when you wore eyeliner "sharp enough to kill a man"? did it stop when you got a mastectomy? did it come to a screeching halt when you said "sex work is work" and "not all men"? bffr

It’s really no wonder that men cling desperately to the institutions that don’t allow women out from under their brutality. Separatism terrifies them for good reason. Look at single-sex male spaces in prisons, schools, and industries. When men/boys are alone together, they quickly create castes where they treat their lowers like they treat women in broader society - and the abuse knows no limits. It’s often sexual, often fatal, and it always revolves around degradation. Males recreate patriarchy, even when they’re alone together. They’re terrified of their own brutality and need to use women as a buffer.

Man attempts to attend a women's boxing class. Gets denied. Now he wants the business shut down. Please remember this when they say "why don't you just make your own xyz?" Men are parasites.
Tumblr media
Feels intimidated by other men, but he's ok with women feeling intimidated by him being there.
Tumblr media
Doesn't mention the fact that he's a man until the end of the conversation. All men do is lie.

If you can get to the crown heights area, especially if you have Class Pass, please check out Boxe Studios. Like all female only spaces, they need you to support and utilize the space.
Leave a positive google review for them creating a genuine safe space.
If you're not in the area you can follow them on ig
Please reblog to help them out.

Fundamentally, if you’re against female separatism, you’re against women being able to choose with whom they associate and on what terms. You’re against women choosing to organise their time around other women. You’re against the existence of any space without a man in it. You feel that men have an entitlement to force their company on women. That’s it. That’s all it is. Female separatism isn’t all about women’s land; it’s women choosing to make groups and spaces just for women.

A lot of posts from radical feminists advocating for celibacy or separatism are along the lines of "I think other women should be cautious around men, not sleep with them, date them, etc" but then they casually mention that they do, in fact, sleep with them, date them, etc. One post was like "I'm against women sleeping with men...you can't trust any of them...I mean, I'm currently sleeping with one, but I trust him with my life :)" Another talked about being ruthless about your stance on porn use if you date men, e.g. not trusting his word that he doesn't watch porn, checking his browser history etc, and casually said "i have my own reasons for trusting that my current bf doesn't watch porn :)"
You think you're smarter than other radfems? You think you can lecture us about not trusting men because we can't tell which ones will hurt us, but you can? You think you're the exception?

I work in medicine now, and I work for a female doctor. My boss is also a woman. My performance coach is also a woman. All of them are amazing and super nice.
But this means I'm living a nearly complete urban separatist lifestyle now and it is FUCKING AMAZING!!!!
My household is me + my wife + another lesbian couple who rent our spare room. My workplace is 100% female. My friend group is almost entirely female with only 2 men, neither of them heterosexual and both work hard to be good allies to women esp SSA women. I only see them in small doses here and there.
Meaning on an average day, since I WFH, I interact with ZERO males. I'm so so so happy and I've worked hard to make this happen. It is so worth it!!!!

why you should have hope for separatism:
-this is one of the first times in history where women en masse are educated and (are expected to) participate in the working class which means now more than ever women are better equipped to take care of their own financial needs (even with all the tradwife influencers, not many women will be able to convert because house-wifery is strictly limited to the upper-class, which is shrinking more and more, so most women will always have to work anyways, and most women see this! even the ones that joke about being housewives/strippers are serious about their careers!)
-separatism is mostly non-action. it is strategic non-interaction with men or male media which makes it extremely accessible and easy to replicate across cultures. it removes women from exploitative relationships with men. this means the only thing you need to do to convince women to become separatists is attack the idea that their lives will be unfulfilled without men. and more women and girls are embracing that culture simply because of their experiences (and access to education)!
-late stage capitalism and the rise of blatant misogyny men display is radicalizing women. which means more and more women are open to living together and raising children together romantically/platonically. (literally every woman i've talked to who's unmarried lives with their parents or wants to live with women because men are genuinely an unattractive option--thank you men for showing your asses <3)
-the internet and globalization positions women from all over the world to share their experiences (and we have many shared experiences), which means consciousness-raising has never been faster or easier or more powerful!
-men and boys are failing and dropping out of school way more than women and girls which means that women and girls are on the way to dominating academia and relevant industries! women will make up more of the skilled workers in future job markets which means that women who are educated now will likely be better off and more pursued financially than men. women's influence in society is increasing! think about it. as much as male violence is increasing, male literacy and competence and skill is DECREASING (even nepotism or sexism will not be enough to fix that problem because hiring men will still result in profit losses and other financial inconveniences). in short, male culture is killing men!
-resistance to pornography and understanding the evils of pornography are also increasing. awareness of male violence is increasing!
please read more literature on separatist strategies and don't think whatever is happening on tiktok/IG is how all women think. most women irl are not stupid enough to trade in their jobs for prostitution because women don't actually want that. many women i've talked to in real life also don't want children (in these conditions or at all)! they aren't radfems but they still have self-preservation instincts and intelligence!
there is literally so many ways we can use the current sociopolitical climate to our advantage. it is too early to give up. like wayyyy to fucking early.

Okay I’m slightly concerned to see osa feminists saying they explicitly told their male partners that if they watch pornography it’s over, because it gives him incentive to hide his porn usage from you and regrettably it’s an easy thing to erase all evidence of. If a man feels the desire to do anything outside the boundaries of his relationship and he knows he can get away with it he will do it every time. Please be careful, try to figure out their organic opinions on pornography before you reveal your own or impose boundaries on them.
