but anyway, what’s funny is that this guy has no discernible reason to be that buff. He’s a Haravatat scholar, meaning he is a LINGUIST. he studies language and lifting is NOT in that curriculum I’m pretty sure.

a character like Cyno, who is a matra? A cop? You’d expect him to be buff. He should be, it’s his job to go out and hunt people down, he deals with a lot of opponents.

but no. Alhaitham, the linguist who is somehow very experienced in kicking ass is the one who looks like he drinks ten protein shakes a day. What is he even doing? Why is he so combat experienced? Is being a scribe that dangerous? Or does he just have some really weird extracurricular activities going on? Hoyoverse explain?? Please???

I feel like Gina’s past should have been explored more. We get little hints like the fact that her dad isn’t around much due to divorce (vasectomy un-reversed??), her mom was always working, etc, but I feel like there needs to be more depth here.

personally i think based on very loose hints her dad left when she was young and she has minimal contact with him (I can very much see her having daddy issues, constant need for attention is a possible result of that) and her mom kept getting remarried or having new boyfriends etc, which A made her be slight resentful to her mom and B gave her a fear of commitment

but idk that’s just me might be projecting a lil
